New Icarly Story. My last story iMedieval Time Warp, I thought was a good idea at first, but after rereading it several times, I began to feel that some things just didn't make a whole lot of sense. So, I'm trying again with my new story called: iCreddie Adventure!
Hopefully this sone is better than the last one. Now, it begins.
Chapter 1(Old Feelings Return)
Our story begins on a rainy day in Seattle in May 2012. Some city landmarks appear on the screen. Such as the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Lake Union, and the George Washington Memorial Bridge. From there, up in the Bushwell Plaza building in apartment 8-D, Freddie Benson is his room, laying on his bed, with nobody else around. He has been reflecting on the time he dated Sam. A few months ago, he began to develop feelings for Sam after she kissed him at the science fair lock-in that one night. The relationship at times, seemed to be going good, but there was just one problem: Constant Arguing. Almost every day, there would be an argument between them, and normally they would force Carly to counsel them. Later on, they got along better, but began ditching iCarly rehearsals and shows, angering Carly. They eventually decided to split ways after realizing that they just don't click very well. Although Freddie still said he loves Sam, the question, "Do I really love Sam?" began to surface in his head.
In January, Carly was forced to go visit her grandfather, so Freddie begged Sam to let him be co-host, even though he had a very subpar sense of humor and his robot idea was not funny whatsoever. Then, he remembered the events of last month, when he got a job selling computers at the pear store, Sam intervened and ruined everything for him. Although, she felt bad and quit after he was fired, he couldn't help but think about that, and also the time where Sam sabotaged his application for New Electronics Research and Development Camp(NERD Camp) preventing him from being accepted in. He has forgiven her, but he realized, partners don't, or at least shouldn't, try to ruin special things that happen in their lives. That's what Sam did.
Freddie now knew that Sam was definitely not the right person for him. Why did he fall for Sam in the first place? Who knows, but the main point is that even though they're friends, and have gotten closer since when they first met, their not cohesive enough to be in a true relationship. However, there's one other person whom he does have a healthy relationship with. That person is Carly Shay. He then began to think about her, and their times over the years. Freddie liked Carly since when he first saw her, and them doing iCarly together has morphed this into a very close friendship between the two. Even though Carly always rejected him at first, she has hinted that she may have feelings for him. The time where she forced Sam to go a whole week without insulting Freddie, she eventually gave in and did it. One of her insults was "No girl will ever love you." Carly shrugged and rolled her eyes a little bit, hinting that she does like Freddie. Of course, in January 2010, Freddie demonstrated how much he cares about Carly by saving he life from getting hit by a taco truck. This resulted in Carly admitting her love for him and them dating for a time. However, Sam had to get in Freddie's head by saying that Carly only loved what he did rather than Freddie himself. Freddie then decided to put his relationship with Carly on hold because he didn't want to risk taking advantage of her. You know what happened after that? Freddie had an instant regret, shouting "WHAT DID I DO?!" Freddie looked at his closet for a moment, and realized he kept a picture of Carly in there on the door, which Carly smiled at when she saw it. He laid on his bed remembering his times with Carly, and everything was falling back into place. He now wants his real true love, Carly Shay back.
Freddie then looked below his bedside table, where an old notebook was sticking out. He recognized it from the year 2006. He opened it up and there was nothing written inside it. Nothing, but one short letter. "Hey, you know we've hung out many times, and I know you just want to be friends, but I need to tell you something important. I love you Carly." He remembered that once he wrote it down, he decided not to had it to Carly or slip it in her locker, or anything like that. Thoughts of her possibly wanting ot avoid him due to being creeped out by Freddie's love words mounted in his head, and that was his biggest fear, losing Carly in anyway. For that reason, he decided to keep the letter and not risk Carly hating him for loving her too much.
He looked at the letter for a second longer, closed the notebook, and placed it back in its spot underneath his bedside table. Afterwards, he began to settle for some sleep, not before mouthing: "I love you Carly." before turning the lights out, laying down, closing his eyes, and drifting off to sleep.
