Chapter 1 Quadratum

Unknown POV

If this isn't the ending you desired-

If it brings you despair-

then leave this world for another.

Your options are endless.

Sora's POV

I slowly opened my eyes…and found myself in an unknown place.

I sat up…and saw that I had been sleeping on a couch in what looked liked an apartment.

"Where am I", I asked. "What is this place?"

After I said this, I looked down at myself…and saw that I was wearing a new outfit.

"Where did these clothes come from", I asked.

Before I could get an answer…I heard a knock at the front door.

I went to open it, and when I did…I saw a girl I did not recognise.

"Oh good", she started when she saw me. "You're finally awake. I'm glad. May I come in?"

I didn't know what to say, so I just nodded.

The girl then came into the apartment, taking off her shoes as she did so.

"Um…", I started. "I don't mean to sound rude, but who are you?"

"My name is Strelitzia", the girl revealed. "What's your name?"

"My name's Sora", I revealed.

"It's very nice to meet you Sora", Strelitzia greeted.

After she did, I smiled.

I may have not known who this girl was, but she seemed like she was a kind person.

"It's nice to meet you too Strelitzia", I greeted.

Strelitzia didn't say anything, and just smiled instead.

"So", I started. "Can you please fill me in on what's going on? 'Cause I'm kinda lost."

"Of course", Strelitzia replied.

Then…she started making her way towards a balcony.

"You see", Strelitzia started. "You've been asleep since you arrived in this world seven days ago."

"I've been asleep for a week", I asked. "Wait a minute. What is this world?"

"Come have a look for yourself", Strelitzia suggested from the balcony.

With that, I walked outside.

When I did…I saw that I was in a large city.

"Wow", I said. "What is this place?"

"This is Quadratum", Strelitzia replied.

"Quadratum", I asked.

"Yes", Strelitzia replied. "It's a world full of life, but for you and I, it's similar to an 'afterword', I suppose."

"Wait a minute", I started. "Afterword? Does that mean…I'm dead?"

"Not entirely", Strelitzia replied. "Your physical body may have perished, but your heart, which resides within your soul, remained. Then, it was guided here."

"My physical body perished", I started. "But my heart remained?"

Before I could ask about this further…I heard screaming coming from the streets below!

I turned around, and when I did… I saw a Darkside standing in the middle of the city!

"A Heartless", I exclaimed.

"Oh no", Strelitzia said. "It's attacking those innocent people!"

"Then I've gotta stop it", I exclaimed.

With that, I turned around…and started running towards the front door.

When I got there, I saw a pair of shoes and quickly put them on.

Then, I ran out the door.

…

I had made it to where the Heartless was.

As people ran away from it, I ran towards it.

I summoned my Keyblade, and then…I attacked.

Little did I know…two people were watching me.
