Chapter 4 Riku

Riku's POV

That Night

I slowly stood up before looking around.

I was in a large city surrounded by tall buildings.

"This is it", I said. "This is the place from my dream. Is this…Quadratum?"

After I said this, I looked down at myself…and saw that my clothing had changed.

"My outfit's different", I said. "Must be to protect the world order."

After I said this…I looked ahead with determination on my face.

"If you're here Sora, I'm going to find you."

With that, I started walking down the road.

As I was doing so…I suddenly felt someone watching me from up high.

I looked up to see if I could see them, but I could not.

Somebody's watching me. But who?

Deciding that I did not to cause any trouble, I decided not to pursue whoever it was who was watching me. Instead, I just continued to walk.

The Next Day

Sora's POV

I opened up my eyes, and found myself waking up on the same couch as the previous day.

I yawned before sitting up and stretching.

As I was doing this, the doorbell rang.

"Coming", I yelled.

Then, I went to the front door and opened it.

When I did, I saw Strelitzia.

"Good morning Sora", she greeted.

"Good morning Strelitzia", I greeted before stepping aside so Strelitzia could walk into the apartment. "What brings you here?"

"Well", Strelitzia started before she walked into the apartment. "I thought I would come and make you some breakfast."

…

I had just finished the delicious breakfast Strelitzia had made for me.

"That was great", I praised. "Thanks a lot Strelitzia!"

"Not a problem", Strelitzia stated. "So, do you have any plans for today?"

"I gotta figure out how to get back home", I replied. "The question is, where do I even begin?"

"I wish I could give you the answers you seek, Sora", Strelitzia stated.

"Don't feel bad", I reassured. "I'm sure you've been trying to get back to your home too?"

Before Strelitzia could answer…the ground suddenly began to shake!

"Not again", Strelitzia said in dismay.

"What do you mean not again", I asked in confusion.

Then, I got out of my seat before running onto the balcony.

When I did…I saw what Strelitzia was talking about.

Another Darkside had appeared!

"Not this again", I said before turning around and looking at Strelitzia. "I've gotta go take care of that thing!"

I was currently fighting the Darkside…but it was not going well for me. The Darkside had me overpowered!

It was about to land the final blow, but before it could…its attack was blocked.

I looked up…and couldn't believe my eyes.

Somebody was blocking the Darkside's attack, and that somebody was…

"Riku?"
