Chapter 7 Land of Departure

Kairi's POV

I was outside the castle in the Land of Departure.

I was wearing a white, sleeveless dress with a skirt that was frilly and knee length in the front and ankle length and not frilly in the back; white, knee length socks under white trainers; a silver, metal chest plate with a baby pink X over it; white, wrist length, fingerless gloves, a piece of baby pink armour on my upper arm and my signature necklace.

My hair was now slightly longer, and it went right past my shoulder.

I turned around to face my opponent, Master Aqua.

She was wearing an aqua blue, sleeveless top with a pink X across her chest; pink jeans; aqua blue, knee length boots with pink laces; a pink cloth tied around her waist like a skirt; aqua blue, elbow length, woollen, fingerless gloves with pink string tied around them and also a piece of pink armour on her upper arm.

We took beginning stances. Then…we charged at each other!

I jumped high into the air, using Aeroga to give me a boost.

I turned around and tried to strike Master Aqua, but she blocked my Keyblade with hers.

I jumped back and tried to strike her again, only to once blocked again.

I then used Blizzaga to make the floor into ice, but Master Aqua knew what I was trying to do, so she used Firaga to melt said ice.

"Come on now, Kairi", she said. "You're going to need to use more clever tactics if you want to beat me."

Hearing this fuelled me with determination.

I stepped back, and decided to use my fist instead of my Keyblade.

This didn't work, as Master Aqua just grabbed onto my wrist.

I tried to kicked her in the chest, but she just grabbed onto my ankle.

With that, she threw me to the ground, and before I could get back up…she pointed her Keyblade right at me.

The battle was over.

Frustrated, I groaned before flopping to the ground.

"I still can't beat you", I whined.

"No", Master Aqua said. "But you're improving."

Before I could say anything to this…I heard babbling.

I lifted my head from the ground, and saw Terra walking up to us.

He was wearing a black, long sleeved jacket that was zipped up; black, baggy pants; black combat boots and a white hooded cloak.

In his arms, he was holding…a baby.

Said baby had his mother's blue hair, and the blue eyes both of his parents had.

Aqua smiled before walking up to Terra and the baby.

I decided to leave the family to themselves, and got up and left

I was walking around the outside of the castle.

As I was doing so…I felt something hug my legs.

I looked down, and smiled when I saw Chirithy.

"Hi Chirithy", I greeted.

"Hi Kairi", Chirithy greeted.

"Hi Kairi", I heard somebody else greet.

I looked up…and saw Ven.

He was wearing a dark grey, long sleeved zip up jacket with a hoodie; black jeans; black combat boots; a silver, metal chest plate; a black, long sleeved leather jacket that was unzipped and black, wrist length, fingerless gloves.

"Hi Ven", I greeted.

"I saw your duel with Aqua", Ven revealed. "You did great!"

"Yeah", I replied. "But I still can't beat her."

"You'll get there someday", Ven stated. "I mean, you've only been training with Aqua for a year, and you've already made so much progress."

Before I could say anything else, I noticed that Chirithy was no longer standing by us.

"Where'd Chirithy go", I asked.

"Over here", Chirithy yelled.

I turned around…and saw them standing by one of the ponds.

"I found something", they revealed.

Then…I walked up to them…and saw what it was that they had found.

It was…a message in a bottle.
