Chapter 12 Feel it in Our Hearts

Kairi's POV

That Night

I slowly opened my eyes…and found myself on concrete ground.

Slowly, I stood up before looking around.

When I did…I saw myself in a city surrounded by tall buildings.

"Is this Qudratum", I asked myself.

Then…I felt a sudden urge in my heart.

I clenched it…before realising what it meant.

"Sora is here", I said to myself. "I can feel it in my heart."

After I said this to myself…I gazed at the sky with a look of determination on my face.

"Just hang in there tight Sora", I said to myself. "I'm going to find you, and then we'll be together again. I promise."

With that…I began my search.

Sora's POV

I was awoken by a sudden urge in my heart.

I shot up in my futon…before clenching it with my hand.

I knew what this feeling meant, and as soon as I did…I rushed over to Riku's futon.

"Riku", I said as I shook him. "Riku!"

"Sora", Riku said groggily. "What is it?"

"It's Kairi", I revealed. "She's here!"

"What", Riku exclaimed as he shot up in his futon, now fully awake. "Are you sure?"

"Yes", I replied. "I can feel it in my heart."

"Then what are you waiting for", Riku asked. "Get dressed and let's go and find her!"

…

Riku, Strelitzia and I were now currently looking around the city for Kairi.

"This city is so huge", Strelitzia pointed out. "Who knows how long it will take to find her?"

"It's okay", I reassured. "I just need to use my heart. It's my guiding key after all."

However, I could not do this, because before I could…I felt the ground begin to shake.

I looked up, and to my horror…saw a Darkside Heartless.

"Another one", I asked in annoyance.

"Why do they keep on appearing here", Strelitzia asked in confusion.

"No time to worry about that now", Riku pointed out. "Right now, let's just worry about taking it down!"

With that, Riku and I began to fight.

However, this Darkside was stronger than the other ones, and Riku and I were having a hard time beating it.

It got so bad…that Riku ended up being slammed right into a building!

"Riku", I called out.

Then, I tried to get to him, but before I could…the Darkside grabbed onto me!

I tried to break free from its grasp, but it held onto me extremely tightly, and it wouldn't let go.

Then…something happened.

A bright light pierced through the Darkside, making it let go of me.

I looked up…and couldn't believe my eyes.

Standing in front of me was the person who had just saved me. Standing in front of me was…

"Kairi."
