Chapter 13 We're Together Now
Sora's POV
"Kairi", I started. "Is it really you?"
Kairi turned around to look at me…and smiled.
"Yeah", she replied. "It's me Sora. I'm here."
Hearing this words made me smile.
However…this smile soon faded away…when I noticed that the Heartless was about to bring his fist down on us!
"Look out Kairi", I exclaimed.
Kairi turned around to quickly look at the Heartless. Then, she quickly grabbed onto my hand.
"Blizzaga", she yelled.
Then…she created an ice trail that quickly got us out of the way of the Darkside's fist just as it was about to crash down on us.
This trail ended up by Riku, who was being healed by Strelitzia.
"Riku", Kairi started. "Are you okay?"
"Kairi", Riku started. "Is that you?"
"Yeah", Kairi replied with a smile. "It's me."
This reunion was interrupted by the sound of the Heartless.
"You guys wait here", Kairi commanded. "I'll take care of that Heartless."
"No Kairi", Riku commanded. "That Heartless is far too dangerous for you!"
"I've been granted the rank of master by Master Aqua", Kairi revealed. "If she believes that I am worthy of that title, than I am more than capable of taking care of that Heartless."
"Wait", I started. "You're a Keyblade master?"
"That's right", Kairi replied. "Now, let me take care of this!"
With that…Kairi turned around before charging at the Heartless.
We all watched in awe as she fought it.
"Incredible", Riku stated. "Her fighting skills have improved so much.
"Amazing", Strelitzia stated. "She's amazing."
"Yeah", I said. "She really is."
Soon, Kairi managed to defeat the Heartless.
When she was done…we all ran up to her.
"That was amazing Kairi", Riku stated. "Your fighting skills have improved so much!"
"It's not me", Kairi stated. "It's all thanks to Master Aqua that I was able to become this strong."
"Don't sell yourself short", Riku said. "Aqua's training wouldn't have meant anything if it wasn't for your own skills."
"Riku's right", I agreed. "You were amazing Kairi!"
"You really think so", Kairi asked.
"Of course I do", I replied.
"Thank you", Kairi said.
Then…she noticed Strelitzia.
"Who are you", she asked.
"Oh", Strelitzia started. "My name is Strelitzia."
"She's been helping us out", I revealed.
"Well then", Kairi started. "Thank you for helping out Sora and Riku, Strelitzia."
"Now that that's over with", Riku started. "Let's move this conversation elsewhere."
…
We were now back at the apartment.
While Riku and Strelitzia slept…Kairi and I were awake.
I found her on the balcony, and walked up to her.
"Hey", I greeted.
"Hey", Kairi greeted before turning to look at the city. "This city is really beautiful at night."
"Yeah", I agreed.
Then…Kairi began cry!
"Kairi…", I started.
"I was so worried", Kairi revealed. "I was scared that I would never see you again!"
In order to comfort Kairi…I pulled her into a hug.
"It's okay", I reassured. "We're together now."
