Chapter 16 Wicked Twisters

Sora's POV

Me and the group that had come to help us stared at Kairi in awe.

"Dude", the boy with the uppercut started. "That. Was. Hardcore!"

"Indeed", the girl with the backpack agreed. "She gave off the aura of a princess!"

"Are you all okay", Kairi asked as she ran up to us.

"Yes we are", the girl with the backpack replied before…curtsying? "Thanks to you, your majesty!"

"Your majesty", Kairi asked.

"The way you took out that monster was totally awesome", the boy with the uppercut stated.

"Thank you", Kairi said.

"So", the girl with the hoodie started. "You two got names?"

"I'm Sora", I revealed before gesturing to Kairi. "This is Kairi."

"Nice to meet you Sor and Kai", the boy with the uppercut greeted. "Allow me to do our introductions. My name is Tosai Furesawa, but you can call me Fret!"

After the boy with the uppercut (who I now knew was named Fret) said this, he then gestured to the girl with the backpack.

"This here is Nagi Usui", he revealed. "AKA, the boss."

"It is an honour to meet you, Lord Sora and Lady Kairi", the girl with the backpack (who I now knew was named Nagi) greeted before giving another curtsy.

"The girl with the hoodie is Shoka Sakurane", Fret revealed. "AKA Shokie."

"I told you not to call me Shokie", said person reminded.

"And last, but certainly not least", Fret started. "We have our fearless leader, Rindo Kanade. AKA, my Rindude!"

"N…nice to meet you", Rindo greeted with a small wave.

"Together, we are…the Wicked Twisters", Fret exclaimed.

"The Wicked Twisters", I repeated. "Cool name."

"I know", Fret stated. "I came up with it!"

"So", Shoka started, changing the subject. "What were those weapons you guys used to beat that monster?"

"Those were our Keyblades", Kairi revealed.

"Keyblades", Nagi repeated. "Fascinating."

"Wait", Shoka started. "So you're telling me that you just beat up that monster with a giant key?"

"The Keyblade is a powerful weapon", Kairi revealed. "The people chosen to wield them can perform many great feats."

After Kairi said this, Nagi suddenly squealed in excitement!

"You okay boss", Fret asked in concern.

"This is amazing", Nagi exclaimed. "It's like a fantasy novel brought to life!"

"Anyway", Fret started before changing the subject. "Do you guys know anything about what those giant monsters even are? Because they have been popping up around here a lot lately."

"They are Heartless", Kairi revealed. "Beings without hearts."

"Oh my", Shoka started sarcastically. "How original."

"Okay", Rindo started before changing the subject. "So these 'Heartless.' Do you know why they've suddenly started showing up."

"I've been thinking about that", Kairi revealed. "I wonder if it's because of us?"

"What do you mean", I asked in confusion.

"The Heartless are drawn to the Keyblade", Kairi reminded me. "Maybe that's why they're suddenly showing up?"

"Wait", Rindo started. "Are you saying you guys aren't from here?"

"It's a long story."
