The sound of something breaking wakes me up ad before I even realize what's going on the floor underneath me completely breaks and I fall into a deep hole.
Before I even hit the ground I realize that I'm inside of the carriage again.
"I guess that the horse must have saved me," I say to myself before the carriage door opened again
As I walk out a loud crash that is immediately followed by an enraged roar tells me that Skarbrand followed us down here.
The horse walks in front of me and it begins to glow brighter, the green fire that's a part of it grows but it doesn't burn anything.
It's kind of strange seeing what's supposed to be fire touching the walls but it doesn't burn anything, not t mention that the green light only makes this place even more creepy than it was.
After we walked for who knows how long we were forced to stop walking because there was nowhere else to go, it was a dead-end, however Skarbrand dint care so he just punched the wall in front of us and made a giant hole, somehow that didn't make the ceiling fall on us.
Behind the wall is a giant room with a large white crystal, the entire room is filled with white light but it's hard to explain what I'm seeing right now.
The crystal itself is the light that's inside the room, I know the crystal is there because I'm looking at it, but at the same time, my brain is telling me that there is nothing there.
I walk into the room and I hear Skarbrand the horse and oddly enough the blob grows because they can't enter the room, but somehow I can.
The crystal begins to spin and all of the light that was inside the room is focused on me now, I can feel my hand being forced open, and all of a sudden I'm holding the same crystal that once reached the ceiling on this giant room in my right hand.
The crystal begins to grow and my head burns in pain as I can see my life flashing before my eyes, I want to scream but I can't even open my mouth.
Then all of a sudden the pain is gone and someone is standing in front of me.
The ma is wearing gold armor but he is a giant, I meant he's nowhere near as big as Skarbrand but he is easily taller than any basketball player, plus if his armor tells me anything, he's built like a tank.
Yet what catches my attention are the pair of massive wings on the man's back, the wings themselves are completely white, but they glow with a gold and yellow light.
As I catch my breath I begin to realize that the crystal itself was what brought me to this world, it's the reason why I'm able to summon things ad why the floor broke and I fell into the tunnel.
The crystal wanted to be found, but since no one ever came for it, it called someone here.
It even told me that this is a dead reality, this is the result of what happens when the veils and angels get together.
It's hard to explain, but from the memories, I gained from the crystal things work like this.
This world is one of the many dead wolds that the gods and yes there are a lot of them.
To put it simply all of those stories people tell about one god or another creating the world are real, but they aren't the same worlds, all of those events happened on other versions of earth before the people of those worlds were destroyed.
At first devils and angels hate each other and try to kill each other, regardless if there are other beings be they mortal or not, eventually, peace will be made between the two groups, then they will start to interbreed.
That's when reality begins to die, at first everyone thinks that this is a good thing, but it's not.
Eventually, the souls of the dead begin to stay on earth because they can't enter heaven anymore, humans become rarer and rarer until they're completely gone.
Eventually, the souls of the dead demand that those that sided with the devils stop being allowed into heaven because of the suffering they experienced on earth, and the god or goddess of that time either agrees or ignores them.
Regardless because the earth was created for mortals, it begins to become stale and poisons the immortals that are living in it, and they start to migrate to the underworld.
This eventually starts a war between the devils and their creations.
If the angels had any children with mortals they would be either forced to live on earth or welcomed into heaven.
Regardless of any of this eventually the underworlds war reaches heaven and the souls of the dead are erased and both the gods and devils retreat by sealing their realms away.
Then another god tries his hand at creation in another reality and by then the devils have already forgotten what they did and the whole thing happens again, but there was an anomaly this time
"Now I understand," I say to myself as I tighten my grip on the crystal
I was brought here to travel to all of the dead worlds and get their souls, the crystal in my hand is the planet's soul.
It has memories of all of the powers and weapons that were used by both mortal and immortal beings.
The crystal begins to get hot and it's almost as if it was talking to me, it forces me to lift my hand I can different crystals joining it.
Maybe I wasn't supposed to go to those worlds, I don't know how long I stayed like I kept on losing consciousness ever and over again but when I finally was able to stay awake, I was surrounded by the monsters I summoned.
As I stand up, I notice that there's a bunch of clothes near me, I don't waste any time and I look for something that fits me and after getting changed I turn to look at the girl.
"So you were brought here too," I say to the girl who's looking at me with a frightened expression.
Waite, she's not looking at me she is looking at the giant angel and demon standing near me.
"Come on, I know a way out of here," I say to her as I lift my hand and open a portal to another world one that is dead yet.
I kind of understand how the crystal works, the creatures I summoned are equal in power to the things that once lived on those worlds regardless of what they were.
The only reason that I am summoning things that look like characters from Warhammer 40k is that those were the first things that I thought of, so I can summon things that look completely human but the creatures will never be human.
The creatures are nothing more than puppets created from a mixture of my memories and the crystal's memories.
They can talk, and act as if they were alive, but they will never be alive because they aren't real, no, they are just memories given form, things created to either help me in fights or help me not feel so lonely.
We reach the other side of the portal and all of the creatures vanish, as long as I'm holding the crystal I can't be hurt so easily, and even if I'm hurt the worlds themselves, will just put my body back together.
I don't know how to feel about that, I mean even if I'm erased from existence itself because the crystal or crystals have scanned by very essence they can just make me again, so even if my soul is destroyed they can just remake it again.
"Do you have anywhere to go?" I ask the girl but she is already gone, I don't blame her for running away but she was the only human contact I had.
Even if I hadn't had time to even talk to her.
As I walk down the street I find myself looking at the world and I honestly think that this is my world, unfortunately, I know all too well that it's not, there are things here that look Human but they are not human.
