The horse stopped moving and I found myself sitting on the ground looking at a girl who I didn't recognize.
"Hey," she says to me before sitting next to me
"Who are you?" I ask her before she puts a finger on my lips and smiles at me as she uses her other hand to point at my creatures who stand next to me
"I'm you if you were a girl" she answers me before I turn to look at her and I find myself looking at pegacorn, an angel with ten wings and what looks like a smaller version of Godzilla.
I can only look at the girl as a light begins to glow in the palm of her hand and I see a crystal similar to the one I have appear.
A portal opens underneath us and I soon find myself floating on top of what looks like Newyork, but the city is unusually quiet and the only thing that I can hear are moans of something.
"You were given the power over the world, I was given the power over people," the girl says to me as she points at something underneath us
"Let me guess, you have only seen what happens to the world when the human population is gone, did you ever wonder what happens when the humans remain but awful things are done to them?"
I look down and I soon notice that the buildings are twisted into unnatural forms and things are moving but they remain stuck in place.
As the figures come closer I'm able to see that they are and I can't help but feel my stomach turn.
There are people fused into the streets, the buildings, and even into animals.
"A fallen angel decided to use all of its power to experiment on the humans of this world"
"No, it decided to play with them," she says to me as I look at the people begging for death.
The city changed into a small town in the country where animals had humans as slaves.
"In this world, a Goddes believe Humans to be so corrupted that it granted animals the ability to overthrow them."
"That goddess soon left after seeing her supposed superior creations becoming worse than the humans she once hated."
Again the world changed, in this world the devils invaded the human world and blocked any help from arriving, either that or the heavens didn't care.
Soon all of the humans fell under the control of the devils who treated the humans worse than the animals did, but something had recently changed, the devils had been cut off from hell and were now trying to maintain their power without the underworlds mana, tey was quickly loosing power.
"They look like our children but those things have no care for anything but themselves," she says to me as she places her hand on my own and the crystals begin to exchange memories.
"So that's what's going on," I say to myself as I finally understand what's going on
These worlds are the failures of reality.
To put it simply, just think of any story and think about any time things could have gone wrong, the girl in front of me is what would happen if things went wrong for people, but in the end, the human population would still exist but in a constant state of torture.
I on the other hand am, what would happen if the story ended for humanity.
This girl nearly died because she ended up in a world where she couldn't exist in a place without humans and so the world that called out to her had no choice but to call for someone else.
She is human consciousness, she is the collective will of humanity.
I close my eyes and the memories of the various stories I read when I was a boy appeared in front of me, I could feel them taking form as entire armies became legions of endless soldiers.
"I can end their suffering and free the ones that are enslaved," I said to her
As I look at her I can see a sad smile form o her lips.
"How can you, I tried to help them but my creatures can kill any of them," she says to me but her voice is trembling.
"That's because those people are a part of you, on the other hand, I am nature itself," I said to her as I order a legion of Stormcast Eternals into the worlds where the animal population enslaved the humans.
I remember watching a movie where the insect population of the world decided to erase all of the animal life on the planet and started consuming everything that wasn't a plant.
As I remembered that, the insects of the world began to rise and charge at any animal in the forest- fields- towns, and cities.
We both watched as the animals screamed in horror as the angels slaughtered them, those that attempted to flee only found themselves surrounded by insects that ate them alive as they called to the gods that couldn't hear them.
I turn to look at the girl who was looking at the extinction of so many creatures with worm eyes.
'Thak you" she says to me as the world changes in front of us
In this world, the creatures of myth managed to kill nearly all f the human population and kept only enough to keep the planet alive.
Why didn't you just kill them?" I asked her but the girl just smiles at me.
"Can you feel it?" she asks me as the crystal in my hand reacts to the sensation of magic dying in this world.
The various creatures of myth are magical energy given form, without it existing in the world, they are forced to give their own to the world, its not something they can control it's in their very nature.
We move together from one world to another, each time I help her by killing the entire human population of a world and freeing their souls from their torment, or killing the things that enslaved or were experimenting on them.
Entire armies of beings that shouldn't exist marched in various worlds that I didn't know existed and soon I had been responsible for doing the exact thing these things had done over and over again.
Finally, the two of us stood in a world that had been flung into space away from the sun, but somehow she managed to make it so that we stood in different versions of this world.
On one version people were still awake, but they knew that they would soon go extinct, on another what remained of humanity was aced away in cryosleep.
In another, every human was dead with only an artificial intelligence keeping embryos alive.
"I'll handle the rest in the world that still have life," she says to me before she opens a portal in front of the humans taking them away from their worlds.
"Will, I ever die, I mean will I be able to move on?" I ask her the girl just keeps on looking at the people hesitantly walking into the portals.
"I don't know, I just started doing this a week before you did," she says to me before sending me back to the world where the creatures still live amongst humans.

She had sent her other half away and she couldn't help but laugh madly at the results, he wasn't as weak as he seemed, the man did his job once he had a reason to do it.
Granted that she couldn't help her children because they had grown so convinced that the filth couldn't be killed by humans, but he on the other hand didn't have those limitations, not yet at least.
She could feel it, the limiter is being removed, her children had seen those things die and now believed that they could kill them too and if they couldn't then one day their saviors would come and help them.
She turned to her creatures.
"Now then shall we get started," she says to her creatures as she called to humanity's collective memories and began to summon the endless hoards that will soon crush everything that shouldn't exist in her worlds.
She let out a frustrated breath before looking at her first target, it was a version of earth where angels believed themselves superior to humans.
As usual, the angels put the humans under their heels, but they also began to take the children that showed abilities and turned them into more of their kind.
The humans of this world have no way of fighting the angels as the ones that would eventually grow to challenge their overlords are turned into more angels.
"This ends now," she says to herself as the combined armies march into this world and begin to attack every angel insight.
