In a salvage yard onboard a ship, Kragok was in his office which stood above dozens of workers who were loading weapons. Kragok was pacing as he spoke to his phone "Don't tell me your men swindled you. I sent you six short-range heat-seekers and got a boat full of rusted parts. Now, you will make it right, or the next missile I send you will come very much faster". He hung up and changed to a different call "Now, minister, where were we?". The lights all suddenly went out. He heard his men yelling, Kragok took a gun from his desk. Something suddenly hit him and he was now facing the opposite way. His gun was now back on his desk with the magazine removed and all the bullets in a line. He turns back around to see Sonia standing in front of him with her arms crossed. Silver then entered, Kragok grinned "Yeah. The Enhanced. Doom's prized pupils". He sat down and held out a small bowl "Want candy?".
They didn't say anything "I was sorry to hear about Doom. But then, he knew what kind of world he was helping create. Human life. Not a growth market". He notices them both scowling "Oh, you didn't know? Is this your first time intimidating someone? I'm afraid I'm not afraid". Silver took a step closer "Everybody's afraid of something" "Aqua Chao". Silver narrowed his eyes "What?" "There was this one that absorbed the traits of something, i can't remember what, but now it ate meat. It made lights to hypnotize their prey and then...". He mimed a jaw snatching pray "I saw a documentary. It was terrifying. So, if you're going to fiddle with my brain and make me see that Chao then I know you don't do business. And I know you're not in charge". He stood back up "And I only deal with the man in charge". Metal flies up behind him through the window. Kragok gets thrown back and lands on the metal floor. Metal stands over him "There is no man in charge". He leans down until he was inches from Kragok's face "Let's talk business".
A wolf mercenary opens a chamber in part of the ship revealing drums of oil. The room descends revealing dozens of Chaos Emeralds on the walls. Kragok stepped forward and took one. Metal took it from him "Upon this rock, I will build my church". Kragok clutched the scar on his neck "You know, it came at great personal cost. They're worth billions". Metal's red eyes flashed blue for a quick moment "Now so are you". The wolf's phone vibrates, and he shows Kragok "It's all under your dummy holdings". Kragok saw that he has been wired billions of rings, "It's a good saying, keep your friends rich and your enemies rich and wait to find which is which". Kragok stares up at him "Sonic" "What?" "Sonic the Hedgehog used to say that to me. You're one of his". Metal was silent for a moment but then he grabbed Kragok's left arm. The wolf tried to raise his gun, but Silver used his powers to hold the wolf in place. Kragok gritted his teeth and tried to free himself. Metal's eyes shined brighter "I may still need you so consider this a warning". Metal fires a laser form his chest which burns off Kragok's left arm. He gasped and backed away in shock. Metal stepped up to him "Do not compare me with Sonic!" he kicked him through a door down the metal steps.
The wolf ran after him "Ah, Junior". Metal turned to see Super Sonic land on the opposite side of a railing with Shadow and Razor "You're gonna break your old man's heart" "If I have to". Sonia and Silver stepped forward "Ah, yes. He's funny, Mr Sonic. What, do you find it comfortable here? Like old times?". Sonic looked down at the weapons below them "This was never my life". Shadow stared sympathetically at the two siblings "You two can still walk away from this. I know you've suffered". Metal gave a fake mocking laugh "Shadow the Hedgehog. Gaia's righteous man. Pretending you could live without a war", Shadow was silent. Razor held his sword tight "If you believe in peace, then let us keep it" "I think you're confusing peace with quiet". Sonic saw the emeralds behind him "Uh-huh. What're the Chaos Emeralds for?" "I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan". Metal fires a laser throwing Sonic back. A Mecha Whisper and Mecha Knuckles landed and attacked Razor and Shadow. Sonic and Metal flew to each other and traded blows. Shadow went super and punched his Mecha back as Razor sliced his in half. Sonia runs forward and hit Razor before running away. Silver created a barrier stopping Shadow from getting to him. Kragok stumbled through the ship panting "Shoot them" "Which ones?" "ALL OF THEM!". Rouge was in another part of the ship where she jumped a group of Kragok's men "Guy's is this a code red?" Knuckles asked over comms.
Whisper was shooting more from a higher railing. Sonia ran super-fast around the ship, dodged a spear thrown by Shadow and punched him in the face. Razor tries to throw his sword, but Sonia moves out of the way. She stares at the sword and smirks. She tried to grab it but is unable to stop it. She scream as it drags her the wrong way and throws her to a lower part of the ship. Sonic and Metal's fight made it outside. Shadow jumped down to Sonia and kicked her down "Stay down, kid". A Mecha Razor near Silver turned to him. His blue eyes turned red "It's time for some mind games". Silver nodded and ran through the ship. He turned a corner and found himself in front of Razor. Silver made a gesture with his hands and cyan energy entered Razor's head and Silver backed away. Razor kept walking "Razor, status" "The boy tried to warp my mind. Take special care. I doubt a mortal could keep him at bay. Fortunately, I am mighty".
The room around him suddenly morphed and he was at a feast on Lost Hex. Shadow was fighting a Mecha Rouge when Sonia came up behind him and threw him into a wall. Silver then messed with his mind as well. Silver ran away and then did the same to Rouge. A Mecha Shadow and Sonic closed the door to the chaos emeralds. Whisper was still firing down when Silver tried to sneak up on her. Her wispon suddenly turns ivory and she quickly turns around wrapping an electric whip around Silver's neck making him groan in pain "I've done the whole mind control thing. Not a fan". Sonia appears and launches Whisper over the railing. She freed Silver, put his arm over her shoulder to support him and she ran them both away. Whisper groaned "Yeah, you better run". She activated her mask's communicator "Who's ever standing, we got to move! Guys!?".
Rouge staggered down a stairwell in what looked to be an old school. She enters a room where a male platypus was watching a line of girls doing ballet. She watched them "You'll break them". A female panther appeared next to her "Only the breakable ones. You're made of marble. We'll celebrate after the graduation ceremony". A memory of a younger Rouge on a stretcher looking scared flashed in her head. A younger Rouge then appeared in a room firing a gun hitting the target every time. The target changed to a man with a bag over their head. Rouge still fired.
Shadow found himself in a ballroom where a party was taking place. It looked like a party from his original time before he went in the ice. Shadow looked down and saw that he wasn't in his super form and all his equipment was gone. He looked around, all the party guests were laughing, drinking and dancing. A man took a picture of Shadow, the flash made him flinch. The flashes and the music began to sound like gun shots. He saw two soldiers begin a scuffle. Another one was sitting in a chair with a bullet hole in his chest. The man didn't seem concerned as he was laughing manically while a woman tried to stop the bleeding. Shadow put his hand on his forehead as it started to ache when "Are you ready for our dance?". Shadow's eyes opened wide, and he turned to see Tikal in a dress standing in front of him.
Razor was looking around the Lost Hex party confused when "Is it him? Is that the first son of Striker?". Armand was walking towards him with black holes where his eyes should be "Armand, your eyes". Armand grabbed Razor by the head "They see everything. They see you leading us to Hell". He started to strangle Razor "Wake up!". Razor was trying to stop Armand "I can still save you!" "We're all dead! Can you not see?". He pushed Armand away but lightening suddenly started firing from his body. Armand stood back up "You're a destroyer, Son of Striker. See where your power leads". The lightening began to fire from Razor's hand and killed the party guests "No!" he screamed. Flashes of images appeared there were gems and then a pair of golden eyes.
Tikal smiled took Shadow's hand "The war is over, Shadow. We can go home. Imagine it". Shadow's head kept aching. He backed away holding it and suddenly realised that he was now alone. The ballroom was completely empty.
Young Rouge was fighting a gorilla who overpowered her. The panther sighed "Sloppy. Pretending to fail. The ceremony is necessary for you to take your place in the world" "I have no place in the world".
Outside of the ship Silver was clutching his head in pain with Sonia kneeling down in front of him "What can I do? I'll be right back". Silver grabbed her wrist "No. I'm alright. We need to complete the mission". They looked into a small wood area where the Tornado was waiting with Knuckles standing at the bay doors "We need to finish the plan. I want the echidna".
