The wait is over, find out what Alicia's answer is to the big question! This chapter is the longest of all by far, and there is a LOT happening. I thought about cutting it up but decided it all feels like one part so I kept it like this.
Enjoy!

Chapter twenty-two: Dearly beloved

Of course her answer had been yes. Alicia had felt more alive than ever before as she watched Remus get down on one knee. Her heart had been beating so fast she was afraid she would faint. But she hadn't, and when he had asked the question and looked up at her with all that love and adoration in his eyes, there was obviously only one right word to say.

Alicia was replaying the evening over and over in her head as she lay in the arms of her betrothed in bed that night. When they had entered the cabin they hadn't wasted any time and went straight to the bedroom for some amazing sex. They hadn't bothered putting on pyjamas afterwards, and currently Alicia's naked torso was sticking to Remus's warm naked chest. Remus had fallen asleep and was softly snoring. Alicia had tried to fall asleep too, but she couldn't manage it. She was constantly holding up her hand to watch the ring.

When he had gotten down on his knee, he had taken out a small box that – unknowing to Alicia – had been in his pocket all day. He had opened the box and Alicia had laid her eyes upon the ring she would be wearing for the rest of her life. The ring was made of silver. It had two slick rails, with in the middle part an open twisted Celtic knot. Around the ring were five points where the knot intersected. These places were decorated with tiny sapphires.

Remus had said that the ring was a family heirloom. Alicia loved everything about it. In an indescribable way the ring really was a parallel to Remus. It had fitted perfectly around her finger.

She was filled with happy thoughts when she finally drifted asleep.

Remus revealed the second part of his plan at breakfast the next morning. Alicia almost dropped her eggs in her lap.

'Today?!'

'Yes. Here in town.'

'But…but…what about Sirius? And all the others?'

'We'll do something for them. We'll throw a party after Christmas. But I really want to do it today.'

Alicia was stumped. 'Why do you want to get married today?'

Remus leaned forward over the table. He reached out for Alicia's hands and took them in his. 'Because we are at war, sweetheart. The situation will not improve shortly. I am afraid that if we don't do it now…'

'One of us might die,' Alicia finished harshly. She hadn't meant for it to sound that way. It made sense he wanted to do this while they were happy and unbothered by people dying.

'No, no. But we might postpone it because there will be no 'right time'. I think that now is the right time, and otherwise it might take a long while,' Remus soothed her.

'Okay,' Alicia whispered. 'It's just all so soon.'

He showed her a brilliant sympathetic smile before he pulled her from her seat. Remus went over to a small radio on the cabinet and turned the volume up. The room filled with soft melodious tunes from the past. With that dashing smile still in place, Remus placed his hands around Alicia's waist and started moving around. They danced around the room together.

'I understand it is overwhelming. I didn't mean to baffle you this much…'

'Yes you did. You wanted me speechless, remember?' Alicia smirked.

Remus laughed. 'Okay, granted. I wanted to amaze and baffle you. If you really don't want to get married today then I will understand. We can wait and plan something big with all our friends. Sirius would probably be a great wedding planner.'

Alicia shook her head, already picturing Sirius with his hair in a bun and a clipboard in his hands shouting abuse at house elves for not making the cake cute enough. 'No. I want to get married today. You are right, we should take this opportunity. And this place is so beautiful I would love to have our wedding here.'

Remus nodded and twirled his betrothed around while she chuckled. 'Do you want your parents here?' he asked softly. 'Maybe we could have them over with the Floo Network.'

Alicia considered this as she circled her arms around his neck. 'No, I think today should be just you and me. When we throw a party we can invite them along.'

The music picked up a bit and they made their steps bigger, swinging back and forth dramatically in a horrible recreation of what people considered 'dancing'.

'Alright,' Remus hummed as he kissed her softly. 'We'll do whatever you want, Mrs Lupin.'

Her heart did a summersault. A radiant smile appeared on her face. 'Alicia Lupin. I like the sound of that.'

The music stopped and Remus drew her closer in his arms. Her nose nestled in his neck and she inhaled his wonderful scent. She had noticed that his scent was more noticeable on the days leading up to the full moon. She didn't mind, in fact she really liked it. His scent reminded her of close encounters in the bedroom.

'I want to go into town quickly before we go to the church,' Alicia announced as she drew back a little.

'Sure. Are you going to do some Christmas shopping?' he joked.

Alicia winked. 'No. I'm going to buy something white.'

It had been a part of the truth. Alicia did intent to go to a shop to buy something that resembled a wedding dress. But not before she had made a short stop at a potions shop with a difficult Norwegian name.

There happened to be no wedding shop in this town, but there was a tailor for both men and women. The shopkeeper was more than happy to help her. Two women and one man were attending to her to give her something special for a special day.

Around 3 p.m. Alicia stepped into the tiny church. Remus and the priest were talking in the front, and both of them looked up to see the new arrival.

'Alicia…' Remus breathed as he regarded her.

They had managed a wonderful job at the tailors. The dress had a simple straight fit with lace sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. Around the skirt was another thin layer of lace that also formed a small trail behind her. There was a thin belt with little roses around her waist. Her hair was pinned up with a butterfly hairpin that fluttered his enchanted wings lazily. It also kept changing colour.

Since the town was so small, one of the women in the tailor shop had called on a neighbour to bring a bouquet. It consisted of white lilies.

She walked down the aisle with her eyes fixed on Remus. He had managed to get himself a nice suit. The coat had a particular long cut, a style that was more accepted among wizards than muggles, and along the collars it was embroidered with silver. He also wore a pointy hat, as was tradition amongst magic folks. Alicia giggled at the sight of him, feeling her nerves everywhere.

'Well hello there pretty lady,' Remus said charmingly. He took of his hat and made a deep bow. 'My…you must be the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes upon.'

Alicia laughed and stood next to him. 'Oh I know. I'm stunning.'

If the priest was concerned by their age difference, he didn't show it. He kindly introduced himself and asked a couple of questions. Then he finally said: 'Shall we get started then?'

Alicia placed the flowers aside and held her hands out for Remus. She had given the ring back that morning so he could place it around her finger again. It had been difficult already to part with it, so she wasn't planning on taking it off ever again.

The priest started the ceremony. Alicia tried to listen but it was really difficult with such a handsome man standing in front of her. Her mind wandered back to random moments with him over the years…the first time she saw him in the classroom, that same lesson when she hit him in the back of the head with a jinx by accident, the dark look in his eyes when he had seen the strangle marks around her neck, the blush on his cheeks after she caught him staring, the sick professor who had asked her to go on a stroll, the confused professor who had hugged her in the snow, the sexy man who had pleasured her in his office, the secret boyfriend who was just as frustrated as she was with their time apart, the werewolf who chased her in the forest, the man who said 'I love you' after she accidentally said it first, the man who had given her a lifelong scar in her face, the man she tried to forget but couldn't, and finally the man that would stay by her side no matter what.

That man was now her man.

'Remus John Lupin, do you take Alicia Doreen as your wife?'

'I do.'

'And Alicia Doreen, do you take Remus John Lupin as your husband?'

'I do.'

'Then I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.'

With her hand in his, the newly-weds ran through the snow towards their cabin. They hadn't bothered to put on their coats and Alicia was positively freezing in her wedding dress. But it was hard to resist. Earlier they had asked a local to take a couple of pictures in the beautiful snowy landscape. Snowflakes had flurried down and the pictures were absolutely magical.

The cabin was comfortably warm when they entered. Alicia shook the snowflakes from her hair.

'I can't feel my toes!' Alicia giggled as she kicked of the white heels. She rubbed at her arms and walked over to the fireplace.

'Let's get you warm then,' Remus said huskily. They were sitting down in front of the fire, his arms around her in an attempt to warm her up. Alicia leaned her head back against his and enjoyed the feeling. There was a smile on her face that hadn't left since she had been married to her true love. She couldn't imagine that smile leaving anytime soon.

'Sirius is going to freak out,' Alicia laughed.

Remus chuckled too. 'Yeah that is going to be quite something. I don't think he will talk to us for a week.'

They both laughed at the mental picture of Sirius' expression to their marriage. Alicia closed her eyes and leaned into Remus. It felt so good to be close to him. It was hard to imagine a life without him. How could she ever have thought that her life was complete without him? Sure her work in Romania had been awesome, but she was never truly happy there. There was always something missing.

'When did you know you wanted to marry me?' Alicia asked out of the blue. She still had her eyes closed and waited patiently for him to respond.

'Officially? The first day of September, when I had to say goodbye to you again. I knew that we were going to be okay despite the distance, and I realised there was no reason not to ask you. Of course I have loved you way longer than that,' Remus replied calmly as he held his strong arms tightly around her.

Alicia hummed. 'Since our walk in the forest. That's when you said it.'

'That's when I said it,' Remus repeated slowly, 'but I have felt it…well maybe since the day you helped me through my trauma and worried about me when you saw I was sick? Or maybe even since the first day, when you looked like the most chaotic force of nature I had ever seen! Who shows up late to their first day of school with their hair on fire?'

Alicia laughed loudly at that. 'I guess just me then.'

Remus kissed the top of her head. 'What about you? When do you think you actually loved me?'

'Can I say: the first time I saw that tight nice ass of yours? Because damn I constantly want to slap it,' Alicia replied as seriously as she could manage to sound.

Remus bellowed a loud laugh and Alicia couldn't hold back either. They were lost in giggles, sending each other into fits of laughter again and again.

'No okay, I'll answer it better,' Alicia tried to say as they calmed down. 'For me it was the Sunday after I had seen Sirius for the first time. I clearly remember how calm you were, even though you must have been dying to know where I had been. You were scared I had been hurt, but still you didn't push me. I felt it that day, the respect and love you had for me. You were no longer worried I did reckless stuff for the fun of it, you realized I have reasons for the reckless stuff. It overwhelmed me that day. So yeah, maybe a bit later than you, but that was the first moment I could have said 'I love you' and meant it.'

Remus hummed softly and she could feel it vibrate in his chest. It was a happy response. 'I like that answer. And did you expect at all that I was going to propose?'

'Not a clue. You are very stealthy, Mister Moony.'

A comfortable silence fell between them. They watched as the fire crackled and the flames danced around in the hearth. It was a beautiful peaceful moment between the witch and wizard.

'I've got something for you,' Alicia said eventually. She reached in a pocket of her dress – she had insisted on having a pocket in her wedding dress – and pulled out a small phial with a dark blue liquid inside. Remus his eyes opened wide in shock.

'Is that…how did you get Wolfsbane?' he asked stunned as he took the phial from her.

'It's a wedding gift. I want you to enjoy our wedding night as much as I will,' Alicia told him. She turned around so she could properly look him in the eye. 'Because I expect something huge from you. We never had sex before on the day of the full moon.'

Remus started blushing. 'Well there is a reason for that. I am…very wild.'

Alicia wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek. 'I can't wait.'

He kissed her briefly. Then he opened the phial and drank the potion inside. She watched him as he grimaced and licked his lips.

Alicia twirled his hair around her fingers. She watched every micro emotion on Remus' face as he stared into her eyes. His look softened, then turned fiercer.

'Misses Lupin, would you do me the honour of joining me in the bedroom?' Remus asked with a smirk on his face. It was irresistible to Alicia, who nearly swooned. All she could do was nod while biting down on her lip. Remus swallowed thickly before he led her to the bedroom.

With a flick of his wrist all the candles in the room lit up. There were so many of them that they didn't need any other lights in the room. It was also not completely dark yet, but the sun would soon set, and when it did Remus would have to go.

It seemed like Remus had a similar thought as he suddenly turned around and kissed Alicia roughly. His hands held her head close, his fingers tangling in her hair. Alicia was so taken by surprise she quite forgot how to breathe.

Remus pulled back long enough to stare into her eyes. 'No time to waste,' he growled. Alicia was shocked as she saw his green eyes turn a yellow amber colour for a second. It must have been a trick of the candlelight.

His rough hands glided down her shoulders to the zipper at the back of her dress. With his body circling her, he slit the zipper down all the way. The fabric fell down graciously, forming a pile of white around her feet. Alicia took the butterfly pin out herself and let her golden locks fall down her back. She might have looked like a fair lady in the white dress, but underneath she was still rough. Her many scars caught the light and reflected thin silvery lines. Except for the more prominent line on her cheek, that one would stand out even in the darkness. It was a contrasting thing to her slightly tanned skin.

Remus had long ago gotten used to her scars. He was no longer shy or uncertain about touching her. His hands ran around her body, cupping her breast or her ass, caressing her arms or waist, trailing over the curve of her cheek or the dip between her breasts. His mouth was next to her ear but his lips weren't really touching or kissing her. However, she could feel his hot breath tickle her skin. The lack of contact there made her go crazy, even when he was touching her everywhere else.

She decided to kiss his neck. Maybe he would sport a hickey in the morning, but that was his problem. She licked up to his ear to continue her work there. Her hands were around his slim waist, stroking his hips. Then she grabbed one hand full of his ass and he hissed in her ear.

'I'm doing the touching here,' he groaned.

Alicia just smiled. 'Make me stop then.'

'Fine,' he said back as he threw her on the bed. He took off the jacket and the tie. He disposed of the jacket on a chair, but the tie he kept in his hands. He came over to the bed and straddled Alicia with his legs.

'Remus, what…'

'I'm going to make you stop. I'm going to make you mine,' he said with that sexy smirk. Alicia just stared as he grabbed her wrists and tied his tie around them. Then he bound her hands to the bed above her head.

'I'm already yours, crazy,' Alicia joked as she got both nervous and excited.

With skilled precision he undid the buttons of his shirt. 'Alicia, you are always very keen to show me how dominant you are. But tonight…,' he stopped to hover closer to her face, just out of her reach, '…you're going to do whatever I want.'

It was hard to contain her excitement now. She could already feel her panties getting soaked. Up until now she had no idea that dominant behaviour like that could be such a turn on. It was true that she liked to be in control. Even when he had been her teacher she had made sure she wasn't just 'getting fucked' but that they were having sex. As equals. Yes there was a true power difference back then, but not when they were alone. But this…

'Yes sir,' she said huskily. Her eyes travelled down to the rim of his pants. A bit of light brown hair spilled over it and she couldn't wait for him to take it all off. She was currently still dressed in her matching lingerie.

Remus moaned in delight at the sound of her words before he stripped down all the way. He took his wand in the bed with him and pointed it at her bra. He performed a severing charm to cut it loose. Slowly he took the bra off. He looked down at her with a sexy smile before he leaned down and started licking her nipples.

Right away Alicia felt the urge to run her fingers through his hair. She tugged but he had tied her up well. She wasn't getting out of this if he didn't want her to. She was struggling to breathe, it was all so much.

'Are you already regretting getting married to me?' Remus joked as he played with her nipples.

Alicia chuckled. 'Nope.'

'How about now?'

His hand moved away from her breast and into her panties in a second. He grabbed her pussy firmly in his hand and squeezed. Alicia couldn't help the half-moan half-shriek that escaped her. It was so sudden and so demanding that she could feel another wave of wetness flowing out of her.

'Ffffuck Remus!'

He just smirked. He was almost doing it permanently now that he had her tied up and withering under him. He looked so pleased, it only made her want him more.

His fingers started moving. Two went into her vagina and started thrusting in and out. The thumb circled lazily over her clit.

'Are you regretting it now?' he asked again while he brought his mouth to her ear to kiss her there.

'N-never,' she said between gasps. He looked down at her and that wild look was back to his eyes. This time she was sure she could see the colour of his eyes change for an instant.

He growled like the wolf he was and dove down her body to rip her panties off. He pushed her feet up and draped her legs over his shoulders as he started eating her out. His tongue went in and out of her vagina, and then he flicked her clit with it.

Alicia screamed out in delight. They were in the middle of a forest anyway, so she could be loud. Harder than before she tugged on her restrains but the tie wouldn't give. She was forced to enjoy his tongue on her sensitive parts without being able to hold him in her hands. She couldn't take control. She was left at his mercy. And damn that felt good.

'Remus this is torture. Wonderful blissful torture,' she gasped.

He chuckled, satisfied with his good work. He moved his face away from her pussy and positioned himself over her. His toned arms rested around her and his hips rocked gently forward, pushing himself closer and closer to enter her.

'One last time, Alicia,' he whispered as he looked her in the eye. 'Do you regret marrying me?'

She stared back at him and managed to give him a kiss. 'I will not regret it till the day I die.'

Remus seemed very pleased with that answer. With two more hip movements he thrusted inside of her. Both of them moaned loudly when he entered her fully. He started moving at a steady pace. His movements were getting more erratic by the second.

'You're already close,' Alicia whispered as she noticed he was holding back.

His eyes opened and found hers. His stare was so intense. 'Having you tied to the bed like this is turning me on mayorly, yes.'

'Me too,' she said with a cheeky wink.

Remus started thrusting harder and quicker. 'Alicia….I can't hold it much longer.'

'Then don't,' she whispered. Remus thrusted a couple more times before he groaned and rode out his orgasm. The feeling was so amazing that Alicia came too.

He collapsed on top of her and they both tried hard to regain their breath. Alicia quietly revelled in the feeling of having him inside of her after their orgasms. After a couple of minutes Remus rolled off her and cleaned both of them. He was already getting up to get to the bathroom when Alicia cleared her throat.

'Do you have any intention of releasing me, wolf-boy?' she wisecracked.

Remus chuckled as he untied her. 'Sorry sweetheart. I was getting kind of used to it.'

Alicia rubbed at her wrists but the fabric hadn't actually hurt her. 'I liked that a lot. We should definitely do that again.'

Remus laughed from the bathroom, where he was turning on the shower. 'I agree.'

After a refreshening shower they still had some time left before the moon would rise. They lay back down in bed with their arms around each other. They spoke softly and shared sweet kisses.

It was hard for Remus to get out of bed after that. But he had no choice; even with the potion he would have to lock himself up somewhere. He started putting his pants on when Alicia spoke.

'Hey Rem, with the Wolfsbane you can just…run around free right?' she said with a slightly hoarse voice.

Remus turned around to face her. 'No. That is too dangerous. What if someone sees me?'

Alicia shrugged. 'Well you did it at Hogwarts without the potion. Running around, I mean.'

He hoisted a sweater over his head and patted his tangled hair down the best he could. He bit his lip as he thought back to that time. 'That was with two friends who were big and strong animals that could stop me from hurting anyone. And honestly, it was a bad idea. At the time we thought we were invincible, but that was a huge risk, one I'm not taking again. Not even with the potion.'

Her eyebrows knitted together. 'Fine. But I think you deserve one good full moon. One where you can be free. It doesn't get any more free than here, with forests as far as we can see and a population under a hundred.'

Fully dressed against the cold, Remus leaned down to kiss his wife on her forehead. 'I don't need to be free during the full moon, as long as I can be happy and free in the meantime. I'll be back after sunrise.'

He closed the door softly behind him as he started to walk through the snow. He had made sure there was a cave nearby where he could lock himself in. It was a little walk along the bank of the lake. Remus looked up to see the moon was still hiding behind the clouds. It was unfortunate that up in the North the nights lasted longer in the winter. But it was only one night. They had three more after this, and it was not like they had wasted this one. A smile crept on his face as he thought back on their activities of that night. Alicia had looked so good and enticing.

His wife. His wife was everything he could ever dream of having. She was so much more than he deserved. Before he had proposed there had been a constant fear that she would turn him down. How could any person tie themselves to a monster anyway? And how unfair was it of the monster to ask anyone to do that? But then again…Alicia was nothing like the rest.

She loves monsters, a voice in his head said. Remus chuckled at that. A part of his mind was trying to convince him that Alicia only loved him because he was wild and dangerous. He laughed out loud at himself. It was ridiculous.

He reached the cave, started weaving the spells and locked himself in. He took off his clothes and formed a neat pile in a corner. Only in his pants he sat there, looking out at the sky. The clouds shifted, the moon appeared. The light spilled over him. Then he was shivering, not from the cold but because his bones were moving. Remus closed his eyes and leaned forward, his hands on the cold stone floor.

It started in his spine. The transformation needed to start there, so that the wolf body could support the bigger limbs. It felt like someone was running a hot rod over his back, slowly burning into his skin. Then he felt the cracking of his ribs. His heart grew twice the size and was trying hard to keep his blood pumping. Then the sensation continued into his head, his arms and legs. He watched as his fingernails turned into claws. Then a golden brown fur started sprouting from his skin, covering him all over. Every hair poking out felt like the cut of a knife. His face distorted lastly, making his vision swim and his jaw feel like it would snap off.

It was torture. No devil or demon could come up with something worse than what he went through. Not even the cruciatus curse, he imagined, would be more painful. But despite all that, Remus didn't make a single sound. Because he was used to it.

Once he was finally a full-on werewolf he got to his feet. The potion was working, he was conscious while in this form. The last time he had this was at Hogwarts, where Severus would brew the potion for him. It was almost funny, the contrast between having the Wolfsbane potion or not. Now that he was aware of himself he could just run in circles and stare at the moon all night. He could curl up and sleep. He didn't feel dangerous as he examined his body. Yes his claws looked deadly, but not as long as Remus was controlling them. He would never hurt anyone as long as he was in control.

He was about to go into a corner and sleep, when his ears picked something up in the distance. It was a howl. An ordinary wolf howl. The problem with that was that it was impossible to resist. So Remus howled too. His howl sounded a lot more ominous. He had never heard himself howl before and it scared him deep in his bones. He shook himself out of it and settled down to sleep.

Alicia was happy to see Remus the next morning. He didn't look as tired as he usually did. She couldn't spot any new scratches on his face or hands. He smiled the moment he entered the cabin and didn't stop smiling throughout the entire day. Alicia supposed he had been right. It would probably have been too dangerous to let him walk around. She was happy to see him so energetically after the full moon.

That day they walked around in the woods and admired nature. They would hold hands the entire time and help each other climb rocks or ascend snowy hills. It felt so normal to them both, to be out here enjoying each other's company without any interference. No Order members, no Death Eaters, no Sirius and his snappy comments and no judgemental looks from anyone else. Alicia understood what Remus had said; this was the real freedom.

That evening they dined in a restaurant in town and had some drinks afterwards. They kept their conversations light. There was no mentioning of the war. Here in this little town up far in the North, they weren't bothered by such things. Or so they hoped.

That night Remus slept deeply. He had used up all of his energy during the day. He wouldn't show it before, but he was still tired from his transformation. He had decided to sleep early. Alicia had joined him not much later as she was also exhausted from their hiking trip.

They were both so far away in their dreams that they didn't hear the sound of the door as it opened. The only one to wake up from that was Charles. His head snapped up. He stood up from his spot at the end of the bed. He walked into the living area where he saw two intruders. Charles snarled at them as a warning.

'Fucking dog,' one of them said as he whipped out his wand and slammed Charles into the wall. Charles whined in pain.

This woke Alicia up. She sat bolt upright and looked around. Remus was still next to her, but Charles was gone from the bed. She took her wand from the nightstand and crept through the room. With her back to the wall, she carefully looked around the corner. First she noticed two dark figures standing in the room. Then she saw Charles on the floor. There was blood next to him.

She quickly withdrew in her hiding spot and tried to hiss at Remus to wake up. He wasn't even stirring. Alicia exhaled deeply before she rounded the corner with her wand out.

'Stupify!' she yelled. Unfortunately it was so dark that she had missed her targets.

'Get the bitch!' one of them shouted. Her eyes were too late to see the other rush at her and knock her back into a chair. She toppled over with the chair and it broke off a leg in the process. The man was on top of her, with the broken leg in his hand like a weapon. He jammed it down into her leg. The sharp splinters of the wood pierced into her flesh.

'Aaargh!' she cried out in pain. Her vision was swimming with tears.

'Alicia?' said a voice from the other room. He had finally woken up.

'Remus! Look out!' she yelled back.

It was too dark to see anything, but she heard sounds coming from that room. It sounded like a struggle, and then she heard Remus scream. It made her blood run cold.

The man that was still on top of Alicia pulled the wooden leg out. Blood was pouring out of the large wound. Then he hit her in the face with the leg. A burning pain erupted in her cheek. She wanted to do something, but he had her pinned in an awkward position and her wand had rolled away.

Is this it then? She heard herself think. Is one day all the happiness we deserve? It made her so angry to think she had just married the man of her dreams only to die the next day. It was enough to make her throw the man off her and push down on him. She placed her leg over his throat, crushing down on his windpipe. He gasped and choked, his hands trying to grab something. The hood he had pulled over his face fell back, and she was a bit shocked to see how young her attacker was. He had short blond hair, blue eyes and a round youthful face. He didn't look older than twenty-five. Her eyes had adjusted better now, so she found her wand where it had fallen. She pushed the tip down into his cheek.

'Who are you? Who send you?!' she spat at him.

He was turning red and purple in the face. She decided to give him some space to breathe. He gasped and then laughed a horrible laugh.

'The Dark Lord will rule again. And the first to go will be werewolf scum. He is an abomination, and so are you for letting him fuck you!' the blond guy said venomously. Maybe it would have sounded threatening if he wasn't wheezing.

'It's no concern of yours who I fuck,' Alicia said through gritted teeth. She was about to hit him in the head with a stunning spell, but then he got a hold on her wrist and forced her hand away. He pushed her back as he stood up and looked down on her.

'You know what, I was only going to murder you. But now I have some other plans. I'm going to make you regret choking me.' He lashed out and punched her in the face again. This time she felt hot blood streaming down her nose. He hit her again, this time in the stomach. It made Alicia lose her wand again. He took his own out of his pocket and pointed it between her eyes. Alicia had a hard time focusing, everything was so blurry.

'Crucio!' he shouted.

Alicia lost all sense of being. She forgot where she was, who was with her and what was at stake. All she could feel was pain. Pain in the deepest parts of her body and soul. Stop it! Make it end! Kill me! She couldn't even say it. Forming the words was too much effort.

Then it stopped. Alicia fell forward with her nose hitting the cold floor. She couldn't move, couldn't do anything except trying to breathe. She opened her eyes slowly when she heard distressed sounds. She could see the man that had tortured her struggling not to get his throat ripped out by Charles. What a fool Alicia was, not to turn Charles back into a dragon straight away. There would have been no fight if her first move was to get a dragon between her and her enemies. But even as a dog he was trying his best to protect her.

She pushed herself up with all the effort in the world. She found her wand and placed it in her palm. She felt it to make sure it was there, to make sure it would listen to her. She leaned against the table as she looked at the fight in front of her.

The other man who had been in the bedroom came out to tear the dog away from his partner. Charles had already done a lot of damage to the man. His face was a bloody mess. His own mother wouldn't recognize him anymore.

The man that was still standing, turned to Alicia with an enraged expression. This one looked a bit older because of the beard he was sporting. His eyes looked haunted and mad. He pointed his wand directly at her. She could see dark stains on his hands and sleeves. Remus…

'This ends now!' he shouted in a heavy dialect. He was probably a local.

'You're right,' Alicia whispered. Her wand was slowly turning in her fingers. She wasn't even angry anymore at this point. She wasn't sad. She was done.

With that empty mindset, where nothing in the world mattered anymore, she raised her wand to him and hoped to be the first on the trigger. It was the most natural thing for her, as she said:

'Avada Kadavra.'

Yes, I am evil.
I will post a picture on my tumblr (username: crazyrapunzel) of the ring and dress. I also make some fan art of this fic from time to time so check that out too! ;)
