Authors notes: AND there, finally finished. so, for context, this megatron is the same megatron from the fall of cybertron games, but slightly changed a bit for this story. Now, just to tell you, this megatron will only briefly have his tank mode for a limited time for this chapter.
anyways, this story contains spoilers for the cybertron games as well as worm.
Also, I do not own anything, transformers belongs to hasbro and worm belongs to wild bow.
now, onto the story, I hope you enjoy.
Does a warlord make a great friend?
1.1
As a young Taylor watched the night sky, she saw a shooting star fly by. She was all alone, as she had snuck off from the summer camp to watch the night sky in silence. The reason she was at the summer camp was because her father had decided to send her there because of… reasons. Reasons that she didn't want to think about. When she spotted the comet, she quietly made her wish.
'I wish that I could see my mom one last time.' She thought, as the shooting star passed over the night sky. That was then that the young Taylor had noticed that the shooting star seemed to get closer… and closer. 'I don't think that's a shooting star…' Taylor realized as the now meteorite then proceeded to pass by over her head and crash into the surface that was only a few distance from the young girl. It would take a while for Taylor to realize that she would soon meet a new friend… and a new mentor.
Taylor then decided to go and investigate the crash site, with no supervision whatsoever. The only thing that Taylor could think of was this: 'I can't wait to tell Emma about this!' she thought. It would be only a few weeks for her time at summer camp was up, so this would be one great thing to talk about.
As she walked to the edge of the crater, Taylor thought that she saw something in the smoking crater move. Then she heard groaning from within the crater. Unaware that this was the moment that would define the beginning of something that would soon spiral the world of earth bet out of what anyone could quite predict.
As she stared into the crater, she then noticed that there was, in fact, a large figure within the crater. She also noticed that it began to rise from the crater, and then she saw the figures eyes… their glowing red eyes. On the figures right arm was a large purple barrel attached to the limb. But the most notable thing about the figure was the fact that their body was made of metal. The head of the figure seemed like it had a helmet on top of it.
It was then at that moment, the figure spoke up, in an alien language that she could not understand. "Ah, a native. This might complicate things… tell me fleshling, what is this planet called?" the figure asked within the smoke, unaware that Taylor didn't understand him at all. Taylor just tilted her head and squinted her eyes at the giant metal robot. Either the big guy didn't know that Taylor didn't understand them, or he just expected her to understand him.
"Uh… what?" Taylor asked the giant. She took one look at him and noticed as the smoke began to clear, she noticed that the metal skin was a steel grey, and his appearance told her that he might have been a leader in a war or something. Clearly nothing bad guy about him. Just how exactly would this (maybe) alien robot be evil? There's the endbringers, Nilbog, Slaughterhouse nine, and who knows how much more. This big guy couldn't possibly be evil.
"It seems that I have mis-judged you. So be it, I shall connect to your global communication network in order to communicate with you. Wait as I learn your people's language." The large alien spoke once more before returning to silence. Taylor could only assume what the giant was then doing right then and there.
Meanwhile…
POV: Dragon
As Dragon watched over the internet, doing anything that an AI would do for spare time… like manage PHO. But while Dragon did this, she then suddenly noticed something was off on the internet. Earlier, Dragon wouldn't have thought that much on the meteorite that had crashed nearby a summer camp, it originally seemed to be like any other meteorite, but that would be proven wrong as she discovered that a new connection on the internet traced all the way to the exact coordinates that the meteorite had crashed right in.
Normally, Dragon wouldn't be worried about it, because a kid could've just taken a picture of a meteorite. But this new connection appeared… alien to her. Almost as if the meteorite was… something else.
As Dragon observed it, she noticed that it was scouring the internet, for whatever reason. But soon enough, the connection then showed it's name, as originally the name was in an alien language, but now… it showed its name in English.
This name however… seemed intimidatingly familiar to that of a villain's name. This name was: Megatron. To Dragon, the name had the unwanted affect on Dragon, as it showered her with the feeling that this name demanded others to respect the person who was named this, as well as fear.
Dragon then watched as it then retreated from the internet. It was then that Dragon noticed that the alien connection might have been an alien artificial intelligence. This could only bring up more questions that she had before.
Meanwhile…
POV: Saint
As the (quite possibly) alien AI retreated from the internet, from Dragon's view… from Saints view, there was only one thing that was on saints' mind. One thought that had dismissed the threat that Dragon could possibly pose, as the thought only brought pure, unfiltered terror into his very being.
'Why didn't I think of an alien artificial intelligence? Why didn't I notice this quite possible threat to the human race? This alien AI could summon a whole army to conquer and/or destroy humanity.' Was what saint thought of. The addition of an (quite possibly) alien warlord onto the already large pile of threats to humanity. This newfound threat had just surpassed the threat of Dragon, as who could really understand the goals of an alien who could quite possibly be a warlord.
Saint leaned back on his chair and thought about what he should do now. There were two possible options for him to take: warn the PRT and Dragon… or try and solve the problem and claim the glory all to himself.
He of course chose the latter option.
Back with Taylor and Megatron…
POV: Megatron
As I climbed from the crater that was the result of my crashlanding. I noticed that the young flesh bag was still standing there, only step back as I stepped away from the crater. I took a look around the area, and noticed that I was in a forest. There was, of course, no sign of the Nemesis or the autoboot ship called the ark. The space bridge must have been unstable to the point that I was sent far from my flagship. There was of course no sign of Optimus Prime, the cybertronian who was the one of few who could actually match my might and my prowess.
The fight we had on top of the Ark now seemed meaningless, now that I was separated from everything that I could know. But from what I saw on the global communication network, this world was dying. Almost akin to that of Cybertron. Creatures that destroyed cities, while being invulnerable at the same time. A criminal network spanning who knew how long. Corrupt governments that shared a shockingly familiarity with the government of Cybertron before the war. The government that I, Lord Megatron, despised, uprised against, warred against, before the war.
As I looked down to the small human, I took in her appearance. She was young, wore something right around her… were those her equivalent of optics?
"Tell me child, what is your name?" I asked, looking down at her. Normally, I saw any species lower than that of the might of cybertronians, but with the situation that this planet that I had taken observation of, was eerily familiar to the state of cybertron from before the war.
"Taylor…. Taylor Hebert…" she shyly answered my question.
I then hummed in response to her answer, before speaking once more, "Tell me child, what do you know of the nature of what I am?" I asked before narrowing my optics at her.
"You're… um… an alien? An alien robot?" she spoke, asking herself questions she asked herself.
"You are… correct in some aspects. I am a cybertronian. I hail from the planet cybertron…" I told her, "Now, I am Megatron, leader of the Decepticons." The young human then cocked her head, before she spoke once more.
"Is that some kind of team amongst your kind?" she asked, seemingly unaware of the politics that was of my kind. Which was understandable.
"No, it is a faction of my people. We Decepticons, with those who remain, are warriors of justice and order, but our planet Cybertron… is uninhabitable." I told her, intending to tell a half truth to the young girl.
"Why's it uninhabitable?" she asked, narrowing her own optics.
"Because of a war that had ravaged my planet. Civil war, that is. Between my faction, and the dreaded autoboot rebels. They were a corrupt force, and had corrupted our very core of our homeworld, ceasing there to be no more energon to be produced naturally." I told her. Of course, it was a lie, but nothing more than a half truth.
In reality, I was the one to use dark energon to purify the very core. It of course did not end in according with the plan at the time. It was unknown what caused the plan to go down into the scrap heap, but no matter.
But with how things were now, I could only assume things on this planet could go horribly wrong. With threats like the Endbringers, a challenge could be sought for the former gladiator, but with everything else, it would be a long time before I could even crown myself as the leader of this world. I could not detect any other cybertronian signal on this planet, but there was one thing that could be found here on earth. There was an abundance of energon, scattered about, hidden from the humans. If I could just get enough, I shouldn't have the need to worry about energon levels going low.
As a matter of fact, there was some raw energon nearby. Of course, that was only because of soundwave's project of reviving myself, due to something my loyal subject added into me, that I could detect nearby energon deposits.
But there was a glaring problem, my alt-mode was a cybertronian tank. Very easy for a human to spot and report to a government agency, thinking that it was tinker tech… whatever that is supposed to be. It would be much better if I was just a jet. So, that was my objective now, wasn't it?
That could be solved for later, I suppose. Now, what to do with the human girl?
"Taylor, tell no one of my existence… or else." To which she slowly nodded before turning around and slowly walked off. Then it struck me, there were something about this girl that I could use to my advantage. "Before you go, Taylor, I must pass you this…" I kneeled down, with a beacon in my servos. If she were to get into trouble, then it will send out a signal to me, I intended to repay her for any troubles… in order to get a first servant that hailed from this world. "This… is my most prized item. I have had it since I was a sparkling, keep it with you, but make sure no one ever discovers it. Do you understand?" I asked, to which she nodded in confirmation.
She was easy to fool, hopefully, whoever she was friends with was idiotic enough to abandon her for some cape. That would only end in a servant under myself, quite possibly with a new servant under my belt.
A year and a half later…
As I flew through the sky, I scanned the area for any interesting developments. There was still no sign of any autobots or fellow decepticons, or a neutral in sight. Not even Optimus was on this dreaded planet. The former gladiator could only long to kill the prime who had once been his friend. But no, the only cybertronian on this wretched planet was himself.
I could now, thanks to a tinker duo called "Uber" and "Leet", transform into a cybertronian jet. An imposing one at that. I had convinced the duo that if they built the replica just the way I had wanted, they would get to live, as well as be guaranteed safety in case any villain cape decided to force them into something that could involve death. Though there was more to that, of course, they had become what would be the closest thing to a member of the decepticon army, as they were well aware of their position with me.
As I passed the protectorate headquarters, if I could laugh in this alt-form, I would, as I had a cloaking device attached to myself, thanks to another Tinker. The PRT or the Protectorate had no idea that a cybertronian was flying by their hideout. Too busy to notice, so busy that they couldn't even notice the moles within their security.
It was of no worry to me.
Suddenly, I received a signal, a cybertronian beacon was set off? Now, if I remember correctly, besides three tinkers, who else did I give a beacon to? Oh, right, one Taylor Hebert, the first human I had discovered.
That would mean that she was in dire need of help, with no cape to rescue the young femme from her current predicament.
An old warlord will have to do, I suppose. Oh, well, I guess it would be time to reveal myself to the public of this pitiful rock. This will be almost entertaining.
Let order come by my servo, and let it rain my wrath.
Authors notes: Ok, I hope you all enjoyed, also, I'll be posting semi frequently more than I have initially before, thanks to me finally graduating from High school. I want to make note that I will be taking some periods to rest my mind so I don't fall into writers block or so that I remain sane.
But, considering that I have found myself on the internet enjoying somethings, I think that I am not sane.
Anyways, have a nice day, I hope you all enjoyed, and leave any feedback on the story, I'd like to hear your thoughts, and if I'm getting anything slightly wrong, such as grammar or whatever.
So, that is all, Have a great day.
