"Come on, come on," Hogarth said as he rounded a corner. "Where is she?"
"Calm down, Hogarth," Constance said, "we're almost there."
"You try calming down where there are ghosts that are chasing your romantic interest!"
"Over there!" Jefferson said.
Hogarth frantically looked to where he was pointing and saw Sam running down the steps of the park completely terrified. He hollered Sam's name and swerved the Ecto-1SF towards the sidewalk. Leaping out, he rushed towards Sam, who threw herself into his arms.
"Thank goodness you're okay," he said.
"I'm scared."
"Don't worry. You're safe now."
"Hogarth! Get your gear on now!" Jefferson ordered.
Hogarth ran to get his proton pack while Constance helped Sam into the Ecto-1SF. She told her to stay inside before slamming the door shut.
Hogarth joined them with his proton pack just as the two ghosts chasing Sam appeared. One was dressed in a Hessian officer uniform and riding a black stallion that had glowing red eyes. A Jack O'Lantern sat where his head should be. The other ghost wore ancient Chinese robes and a black demon mask. He wielded a sharp Dao as a weapon.
"It's Johann Werner and Yang Chong," Constance realized. "Two more Prime Morganians!"
"Well, that's just great," Hogarth said.
Werner pulled his pumpkin head off of his shoulders and threw it at the Ghostbusters. They dove to the ground as it struck the pavement as it exploded. As the ghosts charged, the Ghostbusters pointed their neutrona wands up at them and fired. The ghosts dodged the proton streams and counterattacked by flinging bolts of energy at their enemies.
"Jeez!" Hogarth said as he scrambled out of the way. "Is it just me, or do these guys seem to share the same method of attacking?"
"Seems like it, huh?" Constance replied.
"You grow tired of our methods?" Yang Chong said. "That can change!"
With that, he threw his Dao at the Ghostbusters, and it suddenly multiplied into dozens of blades. The Ghostbusters ran for cover, narrowly avoiding being impaled. They aimed their neutrona wands and fired again. The streams struck Werner's horse, causing it to rear back and scream, as well as hitting Yang Chong's hand, the pain of the blast forcing him to drop his Dao.
Letting out a roar of anger, Yang Chong flew straight at the Ghostbusters. They quickly moved aside, letting him fly straight past them. He disappeared over the hill and into the park.
Spinning around, they saw Werner head straight for Ecto-1SF. Hogarth heard Sam scream inside as she saw him come towards her. Enraged, he fired his proton stream at Werner, causing the ghost to spin around and gallop down the street.
"They're getting away!" Hogarth said.
"Then we'll split up," Jefferson said. "Constance, you and Gordon go after Yang Chong. Hogarth and I will stay with Ecto-1SF and try to catch Werner. We'll meet back up when we catch them both."
"Great," Constance said. "This way, Gordon."
With that, she and Gordon ran up the stairs, vanishing from view once they reached the top.
"Hogarth, why are those things chasing after me?" Sam asked.
"We'll worry about that later," Jefferson said. "For now, let's focus on catching Werner."
