A/N: And here, we finally have the epilogue of the story. I apologize for it being short. In any case, this 1st chapter of the monsterverse has concluded with another chapter coming soon this summer. Or this fall. Whichever season you prefer. :)

Chapter 10: Epilogue
Meanwhile, Hank has finally arrived home via Chicago cab with a baseball and a bouquet of flowers in his hands. When he knocked on the door, who should answer but his own son! Of course, naturally, he's confused as Hank smiled at him. But sure enough, when the young man's mother arrived, she quickly dropped the tray of milkshakes in surprise at seeing none other than her own husband, who came home from the war. The mother went over to her husband and the two shared a warm embrace., shedding tears of joy. After that, she introduced her son to his father, the two of which did a handshake with the son starting to tear up a bit himself as his mother grinned at this reunion, or rather, the first-time meeting before later, Hank was now watching a baseball game.
"...here we go now to the Cub half of number eight. If you want to see a crowd go crazy, see what happens if this guy hits one right now. Fly ball, very deep.", the announcer spoke as someone struck the baseball with said baseball soaring over into the air and making Hank grin as everyone got into a frenzy over a home run.
"And the impossible dream just became the possible dream!", the announcer shouted.
Elsewhere, Conrad and Weaver were now held at a sort of facility.
"You just gonna sit there? In the dark. You're enjoying this, right? Is this fun for you? I promise I won't tell the Russians.", Conrad assured.
"I promise I will tell the Russians.", Weaver said.
"She's gonna tell the Russians.", Conrad sighed before sitting down next to Weaver and tossing a pencil at the wall.
"Why are you keeping us here?", Conrad asked.
"I wanna go home.", Weaver said bluntly.
"We get it. There was no island. We were never on an island.", Conrad said before someone opened the door.

"Island? What island?", Brooks asked as he, Lin, 'Martha', and Margaret walked in the latter two of which are now pregnant.
"Brooks, what is going on?", Conrad asked.
"Welcome to Monarch.", Brooks said, making Conrad chuckle a bit before Brooks showed important photos.
"This island is just the beginning.", Brooks said.
"There's more out there.", 'Martha' added.
"What do you mean, 'more'?", Conrad asked.
"This world never belonged to us. It belonged to them. The question is how long before they take it back. Kong... is not the only king.", Brooks said as the lights dimmed before it then showed past footage of the cave paintings of Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra, and, of course, King Ghidorah, himself prior to it then showing a war between Godzilla and King Ghidorah.
