Chapter 4: Wedding Day!
The sun is now up and shining in everyone's room as today's the day for Renji & Rukia to get married! Everyone got up, stayed in their PJ's as they all ran to the kitchen to get something to eat as the wedding was 3 hours away.
Rukia woke up, feeling so much anxiety. She shook Renji awake as Renji rolled over and held onto her.
"Good morning, baby girl, in a couple of hours I can call you, 'wifey~'" Reni said as he grinned.
Rukia blushed and giggled, "You're so full of joy today.~ Got something on your mind~?"
"You.~ It's always been you.~" Renji said as he buried his face in Rukia's chest.
Rukia gasped and blushed as she rubbed Renji's head and stroked it. "Renji, I'm still a little nervous. Can we have someone just keep an eye on the park so no hollows will come around?" Rukia requested.
"Of course we can, baby girl. I'm nervous too. But the good news is that Izaya and Yumichika made up." Renji said as he smiled at her.
"Yes that's true- wait, are his friends still coming?" Rukia asked.
"I'll ask him and double check, alright love? Everything is going to be alright." Renji said as he kissed Rukia on the cheek.
Rukia smiled as she kissed him back on the cheek and got out of bed. "Going to wash up.~ Care to join~?" Rukia asked her man seductively.
Renji grinned as he stood up, "Do you really need to ask, baby girl~?"
"Ah- but you can only wash my body, then the real fun begins after the wedding.~" Rukia said as she held onto Renji's hand.
"You got it, baby girl.~" Renji said as they both walked into the bathroom.
Izaya had woken up as he checked his phone and checked with his friends. He then heard Grimmjow and Ichigo waking up as they both waved at him.
"Going to double check with the crew and see if they're going or not. Meet ya there?" Grimmjow asked his friend.
"Yes. Of course. If any hollows show up, slaughter them.~" Izaya said happily.
"You know it.~" Ichigo said as he walked out with his lover.
Izaya woke up Keigo as Keigo woke up and smiled at his lover.
"Good morning, love.~ What time's the wedding?" Keigo asked as he yawned and stretched.
"In three hours. So we just gotta set up the park, double check the decorations and yeah just make sure no hollows will come by and start up shit." Izaya said.
"That's the spirit, babe~! I'm going to take a quick shower." Keigo said as he got out of bed and grabbed some change of clothes and headed to the bathroom.
Izaya smiled at him as he saw his phone, "Yeah, we're still coming. We're in our dresses right now." Candice said to Izaya.
"Alright, my man and I will be heading to the park to make sure everything is in place and going to make sure no hollows will come around and start up shit." Izaya replied as he grabbed a change of clothes.
"Good idea, we'll meet you there. See ya." Candice said as she got up, telling her friends to head over.
Keigo came out of the shower as he brushed his hair. Izaya smiled at him as he gave him a kiss and headed into the bathroom to wash up.
Ichigo and Grimmjow got the crew at the park as they helped double check the decorations and waiting for the food to come by.
"Hi hi~!" Nel waved at Riruka, Jackie, Yukio, and Ginjo.
"So this is where it's being held again?" Riruka asked, as she ate a doughnut.
"Yeah. They said it's better in the park anyways~!" Nel squealed happily.
Izaya then came by with his husband and friends and Keigo's sister as they waved at everyone.
"Good, everyone's here and wearing their pretty dresses.~" Izaya said happily.
"So when is your sister coming over?" Giselle asked as she walked up to Izaya.
"In one hour. The sky is still clear, same for the sun. Grass is very green. Cherry blossoms are still blooming. Yeah this is all perfect." Izaya said as he analyzed the park.
Ichigo's friends and old classmates came by to hug him.
"What's up~?" Tatsuki said.
"Not much. Just making sure no hollows will come around and start up shit." Ichigo said as he chuckled.
"We can't let that happen. Or else Rukia will be crushed." Orihime said as she giggled.
"Yeah that's true." Ichigo said. He then smiled when he saw his family come by with some extra food.
Izaya then saw the gates opening. Alice came out as she was in her long black dress. She smiled at everyone who waved at her.
Kukkapuro came up to her and barked happily.
"Awww, hi you!" Alice said as she picked him up and pet him.
"You made it. Is everyone else getting ready too?" Izaya asked her as he hugged her.
Alice smiled and hugged him back, "They are. But my captain wanted me to tell you that you are going to get Renji while me and Byakuya will get Rukia later on." Alice explained.
"Alright, thanks so much. I'll keep that in mind." Izaya said as he smiled. He then got pulled by Giselle to a tall tree to talk in private.
"Don't tell me that your friend is coming to this wedding too? I don't wanna deal with him." Giselle said in fear.
"Sweetie, I promise you, I'll keep him away from you. My husband and I can stay with you if you want." Izaya said as he smiled at her.
"You know what, I would love that. Thanks so much, Izaya. You're the best friend I could ever have~!" Giselle said happily as she hugged him.
Izaya smiled and hugged her back.
A few moments later, a few others came by to the park. Captain Unohana is checking everyone's invite and letting them into the park.
Rukia was at Ichigo's house as Orihime was fixing her hair and make-up.
"Oooh Rukia, I'm so proud of you~! You look so gorgeous~!" Orihime said happily to her best friend.
"You really think so~? It's not too much, is it?" Rukia asked as she was a little nervous.
"I promise you, you look very pretty~! Renji is so lucky to have you~!" Orihime said again as she closed the blush compact and held up a mirror.
Rukia gasped, her eyes glittering as her long lashes blinked. The purple blush was around her cheeks even though they faded a bit. Her light purple lipstick stood up. Rukia's long hair was down to her back and shoulder. She looked at Orihime and hugged her.
"Thank you, Orihime.~ You're too kind for this." Rukia said as she cried a bit.
"Ah, Rukia. The mascara will come off. But you're welcome.~ I couldn't ask for a better friend." Orihime said as she smiled and hugged her back.
A clear throat was heard as the door opened, "Rukia, are you ready?" Byakuya asked in a quiet voice.
"Brother…" Rukia stood up to see her brother and Alice by his side.
Alice gasped as she saw Rukia in a light pastel blue dress. Filled with sparkle and glitter. Her veil was long with a small real diamond tiara on it. Rukia wore fake glass heels.
"You look so pretty~! I can't~! I-" Alice said as she teared up.
Rukia smiled and hugged Alice, "Thank you Alice. Thank you for everything. You ladies will be the best bridesmaid ever.~" Rukia said.
Alice smiled as she wiped her tears away. "Oh damn it, my eyeliner came off. Can I fix it real fast?" Alice asked.
"I'll fix it. Give us two minutes, Captain Kuchiki." Orihime said as she took out the eyeliner and some tissue.
"Alright. We'll be out in the hallway." Byakuya said as he walked out with Rukia and hugged her.
Rukia gasped as she was shocked to have Byakuya to hug her, "Brother….?"
"I'm so proud of you, Rukia. If Hisana was here, she'd be proud of you too." Byakuya said as he let a tear fall down. "You and Izaya actually."
Rukia smiled as she hugged Byakuya back.
"All done. Sorry about that." Alice said as she blushed.
"Don't be, sweetie. I think we're all ready now. Captain Unohana is about to put up a force field." Rukia said as she gave Alice a hug.
"Ah, then we should get going.~ Rukia see you at the altar." Orihime said as she smiled at her friend.
Alice did the same as she ran after Rukia. Byakuya smiled at Rukia as he held up his arm as Rukia smiled as she held onto his arm.
Izaya and Ichigo were by Renji, fixing his tuxedo one last time and his hair.
"Perfect~! You're now ready, Renji." Ichigo said to his friend as he smiled.
"Thanks you guys for being my best man." Renji said to them.
"Who else is your best man~?" Izaya asked as he smiled.
"Ohhh you'll see them when y'all go up there at the altar. Now y'all ready~?" Renji said as he grinned.
"Yep. Let's go.~" Ichigo said as he and his pals walked out.
Chojiro began playing the piano as everyone looked back seeing Renji walking out with his friends. Renji grinned at everyone as everyone just stared at him.
Izaya smiled at everyone as he and Ichigo walked up to the altar with Renji. He stood a few feet away from the head captain. Then Yachiru came out throwing flowers on the ground with Kukkapuro happily walking by her side. Yachiru happily waved at everyone as she threw more petals on the ground. Then Rukia came out with Byakuya.
Everyone gasped seeing Rukia. Rukia couldn't see as her veil was covering up her eyes. But Byakuya hurried and removed the veil from her eyes as Rukia had small tears in her eyes as she walked with Byakuya to the altar. Everyone took pictures. Byakuya and Rukia walked up to the altar as Alice and Orihime stood next to each other.
Byakuya cleared his throat as he looked at Renji.
"Renji, as your captain, you are marrying a member from the Kuchiki clan. You promise to take care of her, watch over her, cherish her, and love her as you please. If you lay a finger on her or leave her for dead, I promise you, I'll be your worst nightmare. Do I make myself clear?" Byakuya said, looking Renji dead in the eye.
Renji stood up tall and firm as he looked at Byakuya, "Yes sir. Thank you." Renji said as he bowed to Byakuya.
Byakuya nodded as he gave Rukia a hug and left her to Renji as Byakuya sat down. Then the head captain came up as he cleared his throat. Looking at Renji and Rukia.
Genryuasi then cleared his throat as Chijiro stopped playing the piano. Everyone had their eyes on Renji, Rukia, and the head captain.
"Friends, we have come today in the presence of love and these witnesses at the invitation of Renji Abarai and Rukia Kuchiki to share in the joy of their wedding. This outward celebration we shall see and hear is an expression of the inner love and devotion they have in their hearts." Genryusai began.
Both Renji and Rukia looked at each other as they smiled and Genryusai began speaking to them again. Genryusai looked at Renji and spoke to him.
"Renji, will you have this woman to be your wife; to live together in this marriage? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to her so long as you both shall live?" Genryusai asked Renji.
Renji looked at Genryusai and spoke to him, "I will."
Genryusai nodded at him as he turned to Rukia, "Rukia, will you have this man to be your husband; to live together in this marriage? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to him long as you both shall live?" Genryusai asked Rukia.
Rukia smiled, " I will.
Then both Renji and Rukia looked at each other as they smiled.
Renji began to speak to her, "I promise to spoil you, give you as much Chappy the rabbit merchandise as possible." Renji said, grinning.
Everyone laughed and chuckled. Alice shook her head as she laughed at Renji's vows. Rukia blushed and giggled.
Once everyone calmed down, Genryusai cleared his throat as he called out for the wedding rings. Izaya walked up to his sister and (almost) his brother-in-law. Rukia gasped seeing her little brother. She gave him a small wave. Izaya smiled at her as he revealed the wedding rings to them.
Both Renji and Rukia picked up the wedding rings, they both looked at them. Renji then slowly pulled off Rukia's wedding glove as he gently dropped it on the ground. They are now about to exchange the rings.
Genryusai cleared his throat as he began to speak, "Now repeat after me, 'With this ring, I thee wed,'"
They both said it. As the rings are now on their fingers.
Genruysai then looked at them, "Renji Abarai, do you take Rukia Kuchiki as your wife?" Genryusai asked him.
"I do." Renji said as he smiled.
"And you, Rukia Kuchiki, take Renji Abarai as your husband?" Genryusai asked her.
"I do." Rukia said as she cried happily.
"Then it's settled, I may now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Genryusai said as he looked down.
Renji and Rukia looked at each other as they finally locked their lips.
Everyone clapped, cheered, whistled, and just made a bunch of noise, and hugged each other. Alice cried happily as her friend, Izaya, came up and hugged her.
"They did it. They really did it~! I'm so damn proud of them~!" Alice said.
"I know. And it's perfect. Nothing got messed up or turned into a disaster.~" Izaya said as he smiled at Alice.
"I love you, Queen.~" Renji said to Rukia.
"I love you too, King.~" Rukia said to Renji as the two kissed again.
Then the doves were released. Rukia laughed as they flew by her and Renji.
The doves flew around as there were feathers everywhere.
"Hey babe, ready to throw your bouquet?" Renji asked Rukia.
Rukia smiled as she turned her back to the audience. She threw it. It landed on someone but we don't know who since the doves are flying everywhere.
Izaya walked up to Rukia as he hugged her. "Rukia~! I'm so proud of you~!"
"Izaya~! Thank you for making this wedding perfect for me~! Thank you.~" Rukia said as she hugged him.
Renji then lifted up Izaya as he hugged him, "What's up, little brother in law~?" Renji said as he grinned at him.
"Glad I can finally call you brother, Renji. Congratulations.~" Izaya said to him.
"Thanks man. It was perfect. Such a memory to remember." Renji said.
Alice then walked up to Rukia as she hugged her, "Alice~! Thank you so much for being my bridesmaid." Rukia said.
"Your welcome~! And congrats. I'm really proud of you. And Renji.~" Alice said as she wiped her tears away.
"Thanks Red~! Thanks for being here for us." Renji said as he smiled at her.
Byakuya then walked up to them as he smiled softly at them, Izaya grabbed him into the hug. He ended up crying again.
Once everyone had taken pictures and ate some food, had some apple cider, they all danced and partied nearly all night long. No hollows ever came by but some ghosts watched as they smiled at the new married couple.
Whew! Okay so like I am very clueless on weddings but I tried my best so I hope y'all like this.
Just 1 more chapter to go, it's going to be 18 + so MINORS DNI & STAY AWAY from this. It's for mature adults only!
