Rodney was in the sky after being blasted from Pahkitew Island from the Cannon of shame.
And he landed head first on a ship because Chris timed launching him on it just right.
Luckily for Rodney, he was unhurt because he was wearing a helmet, but he crashed through the ship into the lower deck.
On the lower deck where Rodney crashed into, there was an argument going on. It was between a talking Leaf, and a talking Coin
And the context is revealed that this ship is being used for the contestants of Battle for Dream Island. They were preparing to do a challenge that had to do with being in shark infested water.
"So Leafy, it turns out the little Yacht you made didn't work after all! The sharks tore it right up! Don't you feel stupid now?" Coiny (As it's known to be now) said smugly.
"I never said it would actually work! I just said I'd try it to see if it would so our team didn't have to do any planning because we might have already had one up!" Leafy said back.
"Well the Yacht was a small paper boat! What did you think was going to happen?!" barked Coiny
And that's when Rodney landed. Right between the two.
Coiny looked down and said, "Who's this animated orange haired giant person?"
Rodney, who was in a daze, and still couldn't talk coherently after his incoherent speech in the cannon said, "I is Rodney! Me is to love farm six!"
Coiny, who of course was mad as he almost always is, said "This guy is a bumbling idiot! We should toss him off this ship!"
Leafy had a different thought of Rodney. She is more understanding that falling and hitting your head as a person makes you in a daze and unable to speak coherently, rather than just dying and respawning. "Not a good idea Coiny." She then tried talking to Rodney, "Hi Rodney, it's good meeting you."
Rodney looked up at the talking leaf. Instead of his usual image of hearts he sees when a female is talking to him, He's struck with fear that a leaf was talking to him. "AAAAAHHHH what are you a talking leaf, am I dead." He starts hyperventilating.
Coiny said, "Calm down weird giant, you're not dead! You're on the ship that contains all the inanimate objects for Battle for Dream Island."
Rodney replied, "Cool! What is that?"
Leafy said, "It's an elimination game where inanimate objects like me and Coiny over here, compete to win an island."
Rodney responded, "Really? That's awesome! I just came from an elimination game! I mean I was just eliminated, but now I'm in another elimination game? I have a second chance?"
Coiny butt in and said, "Now hold on there! Just because you're on the ship, doesn't mean you get to join our contest! It's inanimate objects only!"
Leafy said, "Hey! Who gets to join isn't determined by you! It's determined by the Speaker Box!"
Suddenly, that speaker box zooms into the conversation. "Did I just hear we have a new contestant?" he says.
Leafy responds to the box with, "Yep! And he's right here!" She pulls in Rodney. "Coiny doesn't want him in, but can he join?"
Speaker Box says, "Well if he managed to make it all the way onto the ship, which took some real effort, I don't see why not. We'll have to figure out a way to determine which team he'll be on, but Rodney, welcome aboard!"
Leafy and Rodney cheer and high five each other.
Coiny was enraged. He snapped, "Hey! That's not fair! He's so big! It's obvious he would win! This room temperature IQ farmer with tallness disease, should not be allowed to compete!"
That last sentence Coiny said, made Rodney mad! He picked up Coiny by his legs and clenched his teeth! "That was the most disrespectful thing I've heard in my entire life! Now you're going to pay!" He yelled.
Coiny shaking. "Okay! I'm sorry! You can play! Just please don't hurt me!" He said
"It's too late for that!" Rodney yelled. "Now prepare for the worst time of your life!"
Coiny braced for impact of getting punched in the face, but then the camera cut to a coin slot of an arcade game which Rodney put Coiny in.
"This is going to be awesome!" Rodney said "I'm going to get the high score!"
Rodney was playing a Pac Man game that was on the ship
Leafy was cheering Rodney on
Coiny was screaming from inside the game "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO LET ME OUT OF HERE?!"
Leafy said, "When the person who owns the machine releases all the coins"
Rodney asked, "So why did you suggest putting him into the coin slot?"
Leafy responded "Because if you were to cause him any pain, he'd just die and respawn. This way he'll actually learn a lesson."
Rodney made it up to Level 10 and then all his Pac Man lives ran out
"Awwww" he said. "Well atleast I made it to level 10"
Leafy excited said, "And look! You made the high score on this machine!"
Rodney looked at the screen, and sure enough, he was asked to enter his initials in for first place.
Rodney cheered "Yeah! I did it!"
Suddenly, they hear "Block bock!" And next thing Rodney knew, he was grabbed by the overalls by a Chicken's feet and lifted into the air.
When Rodney looked up at the Chicken and saw a muzzle over his mouth and it was pissed off, he knew exactly who it was. It was Clucky!
It turns out, he still wasn't done with Rodney after the comments he made about eating 6 eggs a day during the truth or scare challenge. Shocking him repeatedly wasn't enough! He wanted him dead!
Clucky put Rodney over the waters, where two hungry sharks came out biting air. They looked really happy they were about to get a huge meal as Rodney was huge.
But Clucky wanted to make this death slow for Rodney. So he puked out a timer, set it for 2 minutes, and when he went off, he was ready to drop him.
Rodney was screaming for help
"Don't worry Rodney! I'll save you!" Leafy yelled
The Speaker Box interfered. "You might save him. But someone might first."
Leafy responded, "But I'm the only friend he's made on the ship so far, so I'm sure I'll get to him first."
Speaker Box said, "You'll find out why in just a second." Speaker Box went to the top of the ship. "Attention! The goal of the challenge has changed. A chicken just captured our new contestant Rodney! Whoever saved him from the Chicken first, gets him on their team. If he gets dropped into the shark water, no one wins. Line up, and strategize, with your team, so you can save him."
The two teams strategize. Since Coiny wasn't on Leafy's team to shut down his yacht idea, he had the idea of making another paper boat yacht, and rowing it to save him since it lasted 5 minutes before the sharks ate it last time.
The Speaker Box said, "Okay, so now that you have planned your moves, you will now select one person on your team to save Rodney"
The contestants on Leafy's team chose Leafy and the contestants on the opposing team chose Firey.
"Speaker Box said, ready, and, go!"
Firey tried pole vaulting over to Rodney. He stuck a stick in the water, had his team pull him back really far, and fling him. They all did it, but unfortunately for Firey's team, he only made it halfway to Rodney and he fell in the water.
Rodney screamed thinking Firey was dead, but then remembered that he respawned. "Well good for him respawning but I'm not going to respawn so this competition is way more dangerous for me!"
Eventually, Leafy rowed her paper boat Yacht to Rodney and yelled, "I'm here Rodney! Come on!"
Rodney tried jumping into Leafy's Yacht, but Clucky's grip was too tight. Clucky tried relocating to a different spot, but Leafy charged up a hand laser and shot off Clucky's wings. Clucky let go of Rodney by that point because he was no longer an important issue to him and Rodney landed in Leafy's Yacht. Clucky fell into the water and was taken by a shark. Leafy rowed Rodney back onto the ship, and Rodney thanked her.
Speaker Box said, "Congratulations Leafy! You win for your team, and Rodney is now on your team!"
Leafy was excited to hear this news, but Rodney said, "Actually Speaker Box thingy, I don't think I'm cut out for this game. You see I don't respawn like the rest of the objects and these challenges are life threatening. They are even more dangerous than Chris's challenges, and those were very dangerous."
"So you quit?" The Speaker Box asked?
"Yes I do." Replied Rodney
"Well so be it,'' Speaker Box said.
Rodney falsey thinking he would be going home, said, "Woo hoo! Now I can go home."
Then the floor opened up and swallowed him. He was now seeing nothing but white.
"Wha, what? What's going on?" Rodney said? Why am I falling and for how long will I?!" He was starting to panic.
Then there was a box that opened up. The box read "Tiny Loser Chamber"
Rodney plopped in and the lid to the Tiny Loser Chamber closed.
Rodney said, "Haha, very funny! Now let me out of here and send me home!"
Rodney tried pushing on the lid for it to open, but it wouldn't budge
He was now starting to panic. "Hey! Let me out of here! I want to go home!"
Suddenly Rodney was sprayed in the face. Then a rag was scrubbing his face
"Hey! What's the big idea?" Rodney said.
"Sorry! Since you're from the outside, you have a ton of germs on you that need to be cleaned!" Said a talking hand soap. This was soap from Inanimate Insanity. She was eliminated earlier in the game because this was a BFDI Inanimate Insanity crossover.
"Alright, but how do I get out of here?"
Soap said, "You can't get out of here. You're stuck."
Rodney was now in full panic mode. "What?! I can't be trapped here! I want to go home! To my farm!" He was now actually starting to cry.
Soap screamed. Hey don't start shedding tears! Those have germs!" And she ran away.
"Yeah, I've been wanting to get out of here too. I was the first one eliminated, and I've been here for days." Said a voice off in the distance.
Rodney looked to see who it was, and it was a talking hanglider.
Rodney knelt down to the hanglider. He said, "Yeah, this was not how I expected my elimination from Pahkitew Island to go. I went from one elimination game to another, which I quit and now I'm here."
The hang glider said, "I was wondering how you got in here. As you're not an inanimate object. I just wish I could find a way to escape." The hang glider layed down and closed his eyes.
Rodney thought for a minute. Then he had an idea. "Wait! You're a hang glider and you can fly! What if I rode you out of this chamber and we flew off the ship, which is what the TLC is currently under and we were able to go home?"
The hang glider liked that idea, but he knew it wasn't possible because there was one obstacle that wasn't doable. "But how are we going to get the lid open?"
Rodney knew what to do. He answered, "We just have to wait for the next person eliminated to fall into the chamber. Because that's when the lid opens, and then we will make our escape!"
The hang glider was ecstatic now. "Great thinking! And the next eliminated person should be due in a few hours! It's currently 8:30, and the next eliminated person should be up at 11!"
"Alright, then I'm ready!" Said Rodney
When 11:00 rolled around, Rodney had the hang glider on his back in hang gliding position. "Ready?" He asked
"Ready!" The hang glider responded
Then the lid opened and the eliminated contestant fell in. It turned out to be Firey
Rodney was running around the chamber to gain traction right before and until the lid of the Tiny Loser Chamber opened. When it did, he ran up and jumped off a ramp and the hang glider spent the last 2 and a half hours building. He was out in the air out of the chamber and flew up through the void onto the ship.
Rodney smiled. He was going home. He saw Leafy getting her Yacht out of the water and waved at her. Leafy waved back.
And Rodney and the hang glider flew away from the ship, over the waters, and to their homes.\
And that concludes Total Drama Pahkitew Island Exclusive for Rodney. I didn't really change much of his character because I don't think his character really had much wrong with it, but because he lives on a farm, I kind of feel like he would have a bit of an adventure side to him so I decided to give him that. And I plan to bring more of it out when he officially competes in my Total Drama season. And maybe he will successfully be able to actually get a real girlfriend.
