Going Home
"So Steve, when are you bringing her in?"
Tony asks, turning to face the blond soldier standing behind him.
"Well, I don't want to rush Tony. I mean losing her brother, then losing Bucky to… she needs time."
That's true but we can't risk Thanos finding her especially since we know what she's capable of.
Steve nods. "Okay, I'll go to Wakanda to pick her up."
With that Steve walks out of the lab to get ready for the trip.
In Wakanda
I'm sitting in my room when T'challa walks in. I stand up off my bed and walk over to him.
"Is he here?"
I can feel my heart racing in anticipation Ever since I woke up from being frozen in the ice everything has been different and nothing like nineteen forty-three.
"Yes he will be here soon… you're worried, am I right?"
He looks at me with his brown eyes full of knowledge and kindness. I have known T'challa for a short time since I met him and his father at a United Nations summit in Vienna, where there was an explosion that ended in his father's death.
"Yea it's just… I don't know if I'm ready for this yet I mean if Bucky doesn't remember me then what's the point?"
"Do you love him, Stephanie?" He asks.
"I have loved him ever since I met him." I smile.
"Well from what I've learned about your relationship based on what you've told me he loves you just as much so don't give up on him."
"Thank you T'challa… we should get going before Steve starts looking for me".
With T'challa by my side, I start walking toward the city.
Tony's pov
After Steve left I called all the avengers to a meeting. I stand at the head of the long table as they all file in and sit down.
"So you all remember Stephanie right? Anyway, Steve has gone to Wakanda to bring her back and she will become an official member of the team.
Everyone around the table starts mumbling to each other then Wanda speaks up.
"Tony, she can stay with me in my room for as long as she needs."
Natasha stands up and looks around at everyone who's at the table.
"I think I speak for everyone when I say we're all gonna be there for Stephanie no matter what she's going through."
I watch as everyone nods in agreement. She's like family so we would do anything we could to protect her, especially Steve. I just hope she can see that.
"Thank you, Wanda, Nat. She needs all the help she can get because coming back here will be hard for her."
"We are also going to have a party for her when she gets back so everyone should start getting ready."
They all walk out of the meeting room to get ready for the party.
Buck's Pov
I walk back to my room in a daze. When Tony said her name I had a weird vision or memory of some sort.
It was a girl. She has long brown hair, big soft brown eyes with freckles scattered across her cheeks and nose, and a smile so bright it could light up a room.
But if this is a memory of Stephanie, then she was with Ethan Steve, and me back in World War Two.
"Who are you, Stephanie…?" I say as I walk into my room.
