Prologue
Sirius Black. The alleged mass-murder. Everyone knows his story. How he killed a bunch of muggles and supposedly killed Peter Pettigrew along with them.
The story that is less told, is the one of his daughter, Adhara Willow Black.
Adhara's life had always been chaotic. It's not just for the fact that her father has been thrown into Azkaban, but also the fact that her mother was killed the night James and Lily potter were killed.
Luckily for her, her god father, Remus lupin, showed up before any damage could be done to her. From that day on, she had lived with Remus.
Remus never dared to claim Adhara as his own daughter, knowing that even if he might be a death eater Sirius loves her a lot. Deep down Remus hoped he was innocent, but he can't deny the evidence and just had to believe he was guilty.
Everyday, he told Adhara how much her father loves her and that he will return to her one day, even if he didn't believe it himself.
Adhara as she grew older would look out her window every night and look at the star which her father was named after. She would sit there and talk, as if he could hear her.
'One day,' she'd tell herself, 'One day, I will be in your arms again dad.'
