Are you really gonna marry Odette?
That's the dynastic plan.
Those blue eyes were piercing his heart. They had tried to end it and always ended up back here - together.
"Okay, so there's this great diner down the road. It's not your beloved Luke's" Rory's hand flew up in the air, he saw her shoulders heave as she took a deep breath
"Logan, what is your plan?"
"Sorry?"
"What is your plan? I hear the dynastic plan, that belongs to Shira and Mitchum, so what is your plan?"
"Are we still in Vegas?" Rory turned around and looked at him carefully.
"What if we were just in New Hampshire?" she inquired.
"Vegas is your plan Rory, are we still there?" Logan insisted.
She thought again for a moment, and slowly a look of clarity began to shine in her eyes. "No, Logan, this is your trip. We are not in Vegas. What is your plan?"
"We would never go to Vegas again. The dynasty would crumble." He looked up at her, searching her face, she wasn't willing to take the keys to the house, was it worth it, had the door opened for him to risk telling her - she was his plan, they were his plan. He saw a glimmer of longing in her eyes.
"You."
"Me what?"
"You, you are my plan - you, me, us, we - together, you and me." Logan spit it out, he had already lost everything. The worst that would happen was what he already thought was going to happen, she would tell him she couldn't let him do that and he would let her walk out. He put his head in his hands, expecting to hear the door open.
Rory took his hand and pulled on it. "Ok, then let's go to Vegas."
"What the fuck, Rory, I just said I wanted us, not more Vegas." Logan was getting ready to push her away.
"No, Logan, not the metaphorical Vegas, the real Vegas. Let's get married."
He let her take his hand, "you jump" Rory joined in "I jump" and they finished with "Jack". Logan grinned, "guess we need to take the guys."
"Witnesses."
That afternoon, Logan, Finn, Colin, Robert, and Rory landed in Vegas and made their way to the Wee Kirk O' the Heather wedding chapel, operating since 1940.
Rory noted that it was appropriate that she was the only one needing a rented dress as she was the only one who couldn't find her underwear. The ceremony was short and simple. Champagne was uncorked and they celebrated on the plane as they returned to Hartford.
"So, how are you going to break the news?" Inquired Colin.
Rory got a grin on her face, "well, there are many ways. Two that came to mind, one we put an announcement in the newspaper or Logan you could go to the wedding and when they ask if there is any reason …"
Finn grinned, "oh, I want to see their faces – we have a wedding to crash"
