The day ended just as any other. Freddy sang his well rehearsed songs through their hours of operation as he has done every day since the pizza plex first opened. Freddy was sure if he wasn't a robot his vocal cords would be wrecked if they were real with how often he had to perform. The main performers waited on stage until the last of their visitors had left the building. As soon as they had left Montgomery Gator, otherwise known as Monty, jumped off the stage. Freddy watched his friend and bandmate leave knowing he was in a mood. Best to leave him alone for tonight. Freddy had noticed he developed a habit of watching his friends actions and attitudes through the night since a certain someone had snuck into his chest cavity. His friends had been aggressive in hunting down Gregory and even attacking the kid on sight. It was truly strange for them to act in such a way since their programming would not allow them to hurt children in the first place. Perhaps he has not allowed himself to fully trust his fellow animatronics since that night Gregory slipped back out into the streets and out of danger. It was odd how they suddenly went back to normal as if they had reset and forgot everything that had happened that night. Freddy was glad to have been able to return their stolen parts and to see them pleased back together. The large bear had also not seen Vanessa for a while. She had quickly been replaced with another night guard claiming she was on vacation. Maybe she needed a break from working long tireless nights after her frustrating search for the boy. The singer's electronic mind wandered back to Gregory. Was the young boy safe? Where was he now? In the span of one night he had grown so attached to him.

"Freddy," an artificial sigh slipped from the bear as his thought ran rampant. He regretted letting the small boy back onto the streets. From what it seemed no parent had come looking for their boy. Was he all alone out there? Freddy desperately wanted to go look for him. "Freddy!" Freddy's servers came bursting back to life as he was startled from his thoughts. His eyes looked for the voice who had called for him. "Freddy are you ok hun?" It was Chicka. He was standing in front of him, eyes wide with worry. An undignified 'huh?' left his mouth as he focused onto the chicken. "Roxy and Monty have already left for their rooms. You were just standing here staring into space. I wanted to see if there was anything wrong." She tilted her head slightly to the left as she waited for her answer.

"Oh yes my apologies Chicka," If robots could blush he would be red. "My battery is just low at the moment." He lied but he didn't want to explain the real reason he was spacing. "I shall head to my room now, good night." An oh of understanding came from the female animatronics as she moved out of his way. Freddy gave his friend his natural kind smile as he moved past her. Quickly got off stage and Freddy made his way to his room. The bear fought off a groan that threatened to spill between his teeth as a security guard stopped him just as he was about to enter his room. Once again he forced his smile on as he turned to the guard.

"Hey Freddy, before you go in there I have to tell you something." Feddy nodded slowly. Fear building as the smile on the worker grew. "We're adding a new addition to the pizza plex. He is waiting in your room. He will be in your care from now on." That last sentence confused the singer. Why would he need to take care of this new addition? He looked back to his door with new anticipation building in his chest cavity. Freddy walked into his room with the security guard close behind. There standing in the middle was a small animatronic. It looked like a child version of himself but with a light sandy base and a cream colored belly and muzzle. Over his left eye was painted a cyan lightning bolt like the one on Freddy's chest. The child animatronic even had a small hat upon his head and a bow on his chest. Freddy noticed the child was powered off. He stood lifeless in the middle of the room. His scanners flicked over to the security guard as he walked over to the animatronic. He opened the hatch on the child's chest and reached in. Freddy's ears twitched when he heard a small click. Then the security guard removed his hand, closing the hatch and backed up a few steps.

Freddy waitied, his none existing heart beating 100 miles a minute as the small bear turned on. His small eyes opened and began to glow as he looked around the room taking in the new sights. Freddy was surprised to see they had the same eye colors as well. What was going on? The little bear's eyes landed on Freddy and stopped. For a split second Freddy swore he saw recognition in the robotic eyes and a flash of life that didn't belong to robotic beings before it was gone.

"This is G. Fazbear Jr '' Freddy couldn't take his eyes off the little bear. "He is the newest addition to the Plex. He will be your son Freddy that is why he will be in your care from now on." Freddy was shocked to now be having a son of his own. The guard looked at the small bear and smiled. "Jr this is Freddy! He is your dad. Make sure to stick with him and listen to everything he says." The guard walked to Freddy, "Here." the security guard handed Freddy a flashdrive. "Everything you need to know about Jr is in this drive. It's the end of my shift and I want to go home. See yah." So with that the security guard left without another word.

Silence seemed to stretch off for eternity for Freddy as he watched this child, his child. What was he supposed to do now? He knew how to care for children thanks to his programming but this was different. Was this little bear built with the knowledge of how to take care of themselves just like all the other animatronics or was he no different than an actual child? What was his personality like?

Tired of waiting for the other to make the first move, Jr walked up to Freddy to get a closer look at the larger bear. Program kicking in, Freddy knelt down to get at eye level with Jr and gave the little bear a comforting smile. "Hello, I am Freddy Fazbear. I promise to take care of you and keep you safe."

That was all the cub needed. A smile so large grew on Jr's face Freddy thought his casing would crack. The Jr jumped into Freddy's arms and hugged the singer tight. "I'm excited to finally be with you papa bear!" Papa bear. The innocent name given to him by his new son made Freddy's system flood with joy. For a brief moment the bear felt grief. Would it have felt like this if he had kept gregory from leaving the pizza plex? Would it have been safe if he did? He hoped Gregory made it to his home, to his father, where he could be out of harm's way.

So I was not satisfied with this story. There is going to be a change. on the next page it is going to be the real chapter one. I didn't like the way this one was coming out, mostly because I had rushed it and it was done around three in the morning.
