Chapter One – The Weasley Family

Cedrella and Septimus Weasley had 4 children. Three sons, Billius born in 1948, Michael born in 1949, Arthur born in 1950, and one daughter, Margaret born in 1959.

Billius was a strong and talented Gryffindor who, after Hogwarts, worked in the Department of Magical Transportation at the Ministry of Magic until he died in 1969. His death was cited as a work accident since he handled an improperly charmed portkey which dropped him in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. He swam to shore on a deserted rumrunning island, and the Ministry finally located him after 4 days. By that time, he had died from drunkenly falling into a large fire he had been dancing around. (Two months before his death, he presented Arthur and Molly with an unregistered flying Ford Anglia as a wedding present.)

Michael died horribly of Scrofungulus when he was 6 years old during the Scrofungulus Epidemic of the 1950s.

Arthur is currently the Head of the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office at the Ministry of Magic. He married his fellow Gryffindor Molly Weasley in 1969. They later produced 7 children that were all sorted into Gryffindor.

Finally, Margaret was sorted into Gryffindor and attended Hogwarts until her disappearance in the fall of 1981. Here is her story.

Summer 1968

"Arty!" A small girl with bright red hair and golden-brown eyes came bounding down the steps of a small two-story house.

"Maggie!" A tall red-haired boy called back as he approached the home carrying a worn trunk from where he and his father had apparated in the yard. Arthur Weasley had just returned home from Hogwarts for the summer. He is excited about starting his final year at Hogwarts come fall, but more excited to spend some time with his younger sister.

Arthur drops his trunk and deftly swoops the bubbly girl into his arms. He swings her in a wide giggling circle and gives her a tight hug. "Maggie have you been good while I've been away?"

"Uh huh." She nods. She then starts asking question after question about Hogwarts, his friends, what he learned, and on and on.

He laughs. "Mags you need to let me put my things away before I answer all of these questions."

She pouts but quickly reaches for his trunk to help him bring it in.

This is how every summer began since Arthur started at Hogwarts. Margaret and Arthur exchanged letters all year long (since she was four and began reading and 'writing'), but when the two were together Arthur was clearly Margaret's hero. Arthur adores her as a parent would since his mother had died shortly after Margaret was born and his father was constantly working to provide for the three of them.

Molly Pruitt and Arthur are engaged by the next summer and married by the fall of 1969. They move into a small Tudor house in Ottery St Catchpole. This soon becomes Margaret's home as well when their father dies of an aneurism in 1970.

AN: This is my first story. Please give me honest feedback, so that I can try to improve in the future if needed. This has been stuck in my head for a while now and it is time to attempt story writing.
