Day 1: Breathless
This wasn't good.
Waking up on the roof of what was left of the guild building, Juvia looked around coming to terms with what had just happened. Her body was naturally sore, her clothes damp, and her mind a puzzle.
Sitting up she instinctively moved her hand to block the sun, something she could honestly say she had never done before.
What had happened? She had never felt that way before. She had never reacted so intensely. To have her heart overtake her emotions in such a way… her emotions…
The emotionless rainwoman was defeated with so many mood shifts. What was it about this man… how could Juvia… what did this man do to her?
"So, you were defeated too?" a gruff voice came from behind making her jump.
"Gajeel-kun," she answered unsure of what else she could say.
"Just making sure your alive. No rain I kinda thought…"
"No… he stopped the rain…"
"He?" Gajeel asked. "Like with anti-magic stuff or whatever?"
"No… he… he took away the rain… and Juvia saw the sky for the first time..." she looked up as she spoke.
"Yeah…" she was talking weird and Gajeel wasn't sure how to respond.
"We battled and…He left me…. Breathless…" Juvia realized out loud bringing her hands to her mouth. This was more than a quick infatuation…. Could this be…. Love?
"Ugh," Gajeel responded rolling his eyes, "You'll never see me going through that."
Juvia gave a soft smile, putting her hands down to her side as she reminisced about thinking the same about her own love life. It felt good to be wrong.
A/N: it is i who never finished Gruvia week 2021. I mean... i kinda did... day 4 just got really long and I didn't post the mostly finished other days. Well, I do have day 2 done for tomorrow but there are no promises that I will write the rest. I do plan on finishing the other one some day so... peace!
