Day 2: Fantasy

Her head was swimming as she was pressed up against the wall, the body of her beloved keeping her there, his lips crashing against hers. Too stunned to return the kiss she remained there practically melting as all of her fantasies came true.

She had daydreamed this moment several times. Their first kiss. On a picnic, or on the battlefield, she wasn't picky. She'd make some overt gesture and he'd return in kind. Yes, she had imagined this moment several times and knew now that all of her fantasies were coming true.

Because this wasn't some fantastical daydream. This was really happening.

There was no picnic, no romantic setting, or so it would seem. Juvia was perfectly content with the backroom of the bar the two had randomly met up in.

The Girls' night had ended early with Lucy and Erza wanting sleep before their mission. Already downtown Juvia didn't want to go home so early, so she elected to find a place still open away from the usual locations.

The guys knew about the Girls' night and chose to have their own get together. Camping outside the city limits. Not the best choice. And honestly what was the point since they camped out on missions anyways. So, Gray had left early, after the bonfire cookout or whatever, deciding he'd rather sleep in a bed. After all they had a mission the next day and they might camp out because of that as it is.

Walking downtown he thought he saw a familiar glimpse of blue hair entering a bar. He would be lying if he said it was curiosity or a need of affirmation that led him to follow the blue hair into the bar. No, Gray was hoping it was Juvia.

Honestly at this point it was any excuse to see her. He had invited her to join on so many missions lately that everyone started giving knowing looks whenever it would happen. The same went for Juvia, using the excuse that Gajeel was busy with the twins to get him to join along which he always did. He didn't realize that you could want to be around someone this badly, that you'd find any excuse to run into them, including entering a bar because you think you might have seen their hair as the door closed.

Maybe just one drink, Juvia decided as she contemplated what else to do on her solo Girls' night. She gave her order and waited for the bartender to make her drink when a familiar voice broke her chain of thought.

"I thought that was you," Gray's voice came from behind as he welcomed himself to the empty seat next to hers.

"Gray-sama!" Juvia was shocked to see him, but still so happy. Gray had noticed the pure elation that would cover her face every time she saw him. It was so pure.

"Weren't you guys supposed to be having a girls' night or something?"

Juvia giggled, "It ended rather early. Juvia didn't want to waste the night and… thought maybe a drink would be nice. Gray-sama?"

"I decided not to camp out since we'll probably be camping out tomorrow anyways."

Juvia giggled again.

"So, you got anymore plans after this?"

"Um…no… Juvia was going to think them over a drink."

"I'll join you," Gray responded placing an order for a drink as well.

That's how it started. A disappointing night became a great one as they talked, had fun, and enjoyed a night together. It was different in that with all their excuses to invite each other on missions, they were never alone, just the two of them. But now, despite the bar full of people, they were alone and free to let their emotions take over.

They ended up in the back of the bar because they chose to go to the bathroom before leaving, possibly to go home…. The plans still weren't clear. Having met in the hallway… it just happened.

Gray opened the door and saw Juvia waiting for him. She made eye contact and turned to make her way out of the bar with him when he instinctively grabbed her hand and brought her to him. And the rest…

Once the kiss ended Juvia stood there stunned unsure of what to say.

"I'm sorry…" Gray started unsure about her response, "Did I take it too far?"

"Gray-sama… likes Juvia too?"

Gray let out an exasperated sigh, "Of course!"

She gave him another look, a different one, still elation but possibly relief.

"This isn't just… some fanta-"

"No," Gray cut her off while grabbing her hand. "This is real."

"Juvi!" she let out possibly still not believing it was real…

"So… are you good to go?" He asked her noting that she wasn't moving.

"Maybe after one more?" Juvia answered.

Gray smiled knowing that she was slightly back to her normal ways.

"Maybe after one more."

A/N: This got a little autobiographical... that relationship didn't work out sadly.

Still got nothing for day 3. Gonna let them pass if I got nothing.
