Hinata scratched her left cheek, Chiyu was looking at the sky, both girls felt strange after last night's little incident after walking Nodoka back home. A funny chat, some laughs, more plans for the weekend and then an intense look between both girls. What happened after?

They just kissed.

Chiyu cleared her throat, Hinata put her phone back in her pocket and they finally talked. They still had some time before Nodoka arrived. The three girls planned to go to the newest park in town, they got special free tickets (for some reason) at the market.

Hinata was the one who spoke first.

"Chiyuchi… About yesterday, I just…" Hinata felt her heart pounding inside her chest, she even blushed. "About that…"

"Ah, yes, that…" Chiyu nervously began combing her hair, she also blushed. "You know? I don't feel upset about… About what we did," why was it so difficult to say "kiss"? The athlete sighed deeply and gathered enough courage to look at her friend, she noted Hinata's reaction to her words. "I kinda liked it."

Hinata blushed ever more and more and groaned as she felt her whole body burn. "Me too! I liked it too! I'd kiss you right now if I could!" Exclaimed a nervous Hinata. The girl also looked at her friend and took her hands. "But I have a problem, Chiyuchi."

"What?" Chiyu was confused now. "Is it something about me or…?"

"What? No no no! Never! You're cool, you're awesome, cute and nice and you always smell so good and…!"

"I get it! I get it, please stop!" Now Chiyu was screaming, her cheeks burning too. "What's the problem then?"

Hinata gripped Chiyu's hands tighter and lowered her head.

"I like you but… I like her too…" Hinata said with a tiny voice.

Chiyu blinked twice and moved closer to her friend. "I couldn't hear you, Hinata," wrong, she heard her perfectly but she wanted to be sure. Chiyu had a pretty rough idea of the person Hinata was talking about. "Say it again please."

Hinata sighed deeply and looked at Chiyu, after mustering every ounce of courage, she growled and almost shouted her answer. "Nodokacchi! I like her too!" But the girl had no time to feel worse or like a cheater. Chiyu's reply made her make a funny face.

"I'm so glad to hear it!" Chiyu even breathed a sigh of relief.

"What?"

"I was serious, now I feel better, you know?"

"I…" Hinata let go of her friend's hands. "I don't understand…"

Chiyu smiled even more. "I like her too. I really like Nodoka."

Hinata felt happy with the answer and her energy returned to her body. She couldn't help but get excited at the idea. Her smile was big, happy. "She is so cute, isn't she?"

"She really is. Nodoka is so sweet and hardworking."

"I know! Her voice is soft and her hands feel good."

Both girls sighed and smiled at each other. Chiyu spoke first. "We both like her, right?"

"Yup! We both love her!"

"Should we tell her?"

"Of course! She must know, that's only fair!"

Hinata and Chiyu nodded, but their defenses collapsed when they heard light footsteps, hurried footsteps running towards them and the same sweet voice calling their names. Nodoka arrived and Hinata and Chiyu looked at her. Their sweet Nodoka, full of energy, smiling, shining like the sun.

"Sorry for the wait!" Nodoka said as she walked up to them. Then she noticed that her friends were holding hands and the girl was curious. "What's happening?"

Chiyu and Hinata blushed but they didn't let go of their hands, instead taking Nodoka's hands each. The latter smiled sweetly.

"Don't worry, we're just chatting," Chiyu said with a warm smile.

"Yeah yeah! We just said how much we love you!" An excited Hinata exclaimed without noticing her own words. Chiyu screamed and Hinata's face turned into a tomato. She stammered and tried to fix disaster, but…

The smile on Nodoka's lips, the way she held their hands and her sweet face almost made them both swoon.

"I love you both too!" Nodoka said with her best face and her voice full of love.

Chiyu and Hinata blushed even more.

"But… But… We love you, Nodokacchi!" Hinata insisted in a nervous voice. What if she was taking her words in a friendly tone? "We really love you."

"Me too," Nodoka said again.

"Do you understand what we're saying?" Chiyu asked still uncertain about Nodoka's reaction. She looked pretty sweet but normal, like always.

"Yes, I understand," and then, Nodoka kissed them on the cheeks. First Chiyu, then Hinata and she smiled when their friends nearly passed out. "Shall we go? I'm getting hungry."

Chiyu took a deep breath to collect herself, Hinata shook her head and then both girls nodded quickly, nervously, almost comically.

"Yes!"

"Let's go!" A happy Nodoka smiled, taking the initiative and leading her friends to the bus stop.

After all, they had a date, right?
