Chapter 4: Becoming explorer and first exploration
It is now two hours that Lucius, Leavanny and Sewaddle are walking on the road toward the mother's destination. During this time, the egg pokemon inspects his environment, seeing the many aspects and varieties of it. They are right now on a road surrounding with grass plains, far ahead is a mountain range, on his left is the ocean while on his right is a coast with some forest next to it. The purple forest is far behind, has already exited after the first fifteen minutes of their walk.
"So..." he begins, trying to start a conservation. "Can you tell me more about the explorers?" Surprised by the question, she still answers.
"Well, they are pokemon that have the goal to explore mystery dungeons and report their dangerousness. They treasure hunt and if they are rescuer then they saved pokemon who are blocking dungeons," she replies. "Are you interested of becoming an explorer?" The fairy is thinking for ten seconds before answering.
"Yes, I'm interested of becoming one. I had been seeing how dangerous they can be," he replies. "But I don't really know a lot about them, I only explored the forest and the cave one."
"This is quite the achievement you done," she says in surprise. "There isn't a lot we know about them, just that they appear everywhere and that they don't respect space-time laws. It's why they so dangerous, they are unpredictable, you only know where there are."
They don't respect space-time laws? He thought. That why they always changed.
"Nowadays, they become more and more present, and the world is enshrouded more and more in darkness," she continues. Now she said that, he looks around and indeed he can see black clouds standing above some part of the world, like the one from the forest. "There was a town near here and in it was the Exploration and Rescue Federation which is where all the teams go for taking mission and even training to becoming one. But..." Her tone becomes somber and sadder. "The town was attacked by void pokemon and the Federation was forced to relocate leaving a destroyed town with the survived civilian escaping." The spike ball pokemon is shocked to hear that." Now, the Federation are more North, trying to solve a maximum of problems the world has. But they can only struggle and prays that one day the human will appear."
A human? He is surprised by that. "Then if there is no town now, where do we go and what do you mean by human?"
"Oh, you see, there is some place next to my house that you can use. And for your second question, in legends, there is said that humans are capable of great feats and possess great will. Every time the world is in danger, a human will appear to save the world. But they aren't just legends but they really exist. It happened a hundred years ago when the world was falling in darkness before being save by a human. But we still waiting for them to appear, the Federation even send some teams to find them if they have already come to our world." Now he is astonished and scared at the same time. It shows that the world is desperate to be saved, if a federation sent teams to find him.
Time skip: after thirty minutes
"Here we are!" The mother says. A small house is in front of Lucius, being mainly in dirt with leaf for the roof and silk covering the walls. It seems to have three rooms. A path leads to the door with some flower on the right and a small pool on the left. Just before the path, there is a mailbox. "And here is the place that I talk about," she continues, pointing to the left. Indeed, there is small house of only one room with the walls being in wood and the roof being in straw. Like her house, there is a path with dirt and wood next to it and a mailbox before it. Honestly, the two houses feel homely. "If there is anything you need, just tell me, I will be happy to provide it," she says. He nods before bowing and walking toward his new house. When he enters it, he sees a straw bed in front of a chimney, a table on the right and a shelf on the left with a window next to it. Walking toward the shelf, he puts his bag down on the shelf before verifying the straw bed. After doing it, he puts some woods in the chimney before lighting it up. After that, he decides to go to sleep finally able rest.
PMD: HoL
Waking up, feeling some energies coming back, he looks through the window noticing the sun high in the sky. Sitting up to think what to do today, he decides to visit his neighbor so he can ask some help from the mother. But before that, he takes the pink and red berries to eat as breakfast. After his quick breakfast, he exits his house before walking toward his neighbor's house. Knocking on the door, he was answered by sewaddle.
"Mom! Mister Lucius is here!" Yells the caterpillar. Hearing her child, she moves toward the door seeing indeed the togepi.
"Oh! Hello mister Lucius. How are you today?" says the mother pleasantly.
"You see, I was wondering if you can tell me more about the explorer," says the egg pokemon.
"Oh, come in then, I have a library you can use, I can help you to become an explorer today too," she replies motherly. Entering her house, he blinks, processing what she said.
"I thought that you needed to go to the federation to become one," the fairy says confusedly.
"Oh no, you see, because of the state of the world, the federation accept new teams even if they didn't receive training from them," she says sadly. "All you need is to send your name and if you want to become an explorer or a rescuer."
"You can't choose the two of them?" The fairy asks.
"You can, people just don't consider it because of the work's weight," she replies. He nods before following her to her library.
"Here it is, you can read all the books you want," she says before leaving to another room. Taking a book, he begins his study. It took him all the day, but he learned a lot. Now he knows the name of every item, their effects, knowing why his pecha berry and cheri berry didn't have any effects, he wasn't poisoned or paralyzed. He knows about the different orbs and seeds and how to use them. He knows how explorer and rescuer work, how they use their badges and what rank it represent and how the missions work.
"Sewaddle, Mister Lucius! Dinner is ready!" Yells the mother. He puts his book down, walking toward where he heard the yell. He sees the family sitting at a table with berries, apples and what he learned to be gummies. But he sees three meals instead of two.
"Oh, what are you waiting? Come sit with us," Leavanny says motherly.
"Are you sure?" He says hesitantly.
"Yes, now come," she replies with a reassuring smile. Walking with hesitance, he sits on the wood stool, looking toward the mother. Only after she nodded with a smile, he begins to eat, savoring the dinner. After dinner, Sewaddle leaves the room, going to his bedroom while the mother puts the bowl away with our hero watching her.
"I created your request to become an explorer, all I need is to know if you want to explore or rescue Pokemon," she says, turning toward him. He is thinking before replying.
"I would like to become an explorer and a rescuer," was his reply.
"Are you sure?" She asks, surprised by his answer.
"Yes," was his answer. Taking some type of pen from somewhere, she writes on some paper before giving to the fairy.
"It's done, all you need is putting the request inside your mailbox and you will have your equipment tomorrow," she says.
"This fast?" says the fairy quite surprised.
"Yes, the Pellipers are the best when delivering mail," she says with a smile. Lucius takes the paper before bowing.
"Thanks for everything you done," he says with honesty. The mother shakes her head.
"Oh, don't worry, I'm happy to help a new explorer. And you can come for breakfast and dinner, I'm sure Sewaddle will be happy to have," she says with her motherly voice. Surprised for a second before bowing again, he leaves her house to go home. Doing what she says, he puts the request inside his mailbox before entering his house. Laying down on his bed, he reflects on his decision.
Tomorrow, I will get my explorer equipment, and I will be able to explore more and become stronger. But is it the good solution? He thinks before squashing his worry. Of course it is, if all pokemon search me to save this world, I will need to be the strongest possible. From what I saw, they are desperate and if all I heard his correct, then I am a key point in the big picture. More reasons to be stronger. And I need to learn controlling this new power, it gave me a lot of strength again this dark geodude but I became quick tired, with time, it will help me in my adventure. But it will be nice to have friends to help me. From what I read, explorers went in teams, helping each other in mystery dungeons. I don't know someone who can help me, Sewaddle is too young to be it. Then there are missions, clients gave reward to explorer, it will give me resources. But I need a reputation, if it can help people and the world with the darkness, I will do the maximum missions possible. Being a rescuer to help pokemon and an explorer to learn more on this world and mystery dungeons. My first step is tomorrow, and I need to sleep if I want to be in shape. After this thought, he closes his eyes before sleep comes seconds after.
PMD: HoL
Morning came quickly, the sun already rising in the sky, sunbeam eat our hero's window, illuminating the room and his face. Waking up from the light, he rubs his eyes to remove the last sleep. Standing up, he decides to see if his equipment arrived like Leavanny said. Opening the mailbox, there is indeed a box. Taking the box, he enters his home before putting the box down in the middle of his home. Opening it, he can see what to be a map, a scarf and a round item, being a pink color.
A badge. His memory remembers him, reading about it in one book from Leavanny's library. He decides to close it before taking it to the mother, she will know what serve all those things. Noticing the strap, he can't help thinking that the box is in reality a bag. Putting it around his shoulder, he walks toward the insect/plant pokemon's home, accepting at the same time the mother's offer. Knocking on the door, he is answered again by the child. He chooses to take breakfast with the family before asking the mother. After breakfast, he walks toward the adult pokemon to have his information.
"Excuse me miss Leavanny, but I have a question about something," he says.
"Oh, you can just call me Leavanny, I don't mind. What do you need?" she says motherly.
"I see, you can call me Lucius then," she smiles at that. He puts his bag in front of her before opening it. "Can you tell me how all this work?"
"Oh, I can. This," she points the bag, "is your wonder bag. You can put 24 items in it for now, but with a higher rank, you will be able to store more. This," she points the badge, "is your badge. It represents your rank. For now, your rank is rookie but with missions, you will gain points and with enough points gain a higher rank. It will help you to save pokemon too, all you need is pointing it toward the pokemon. It can show your information by pressing the middle of it and a lot of other options. This," she points the map, "is your wonder map. It shows you the place and the mystery dungeons you have visited. The other will be hidden by clouds but don't worry after exploring new places, it will reveal them. Open it and take a look." Doing what she said, he can see that she is right. All the places he visited are visible, but the rest is hidden by clouds. "Here is Plum Gloom Forest," she points toward south on the map, "and here we are," she says pointing just above the forest. He can see the river that flow next to his last home, coming from some mountain, but can't really know because it is cover in clouds. "While I'm at it, I researched on your mask yesterday but I didn't find a thing," she says sadly. "But seeing it, I know there must be some special stones you can put on those notches and then I researched on places with special stones. You see this mountain," she points toward the hidden mountain with the river. "It is a mystery dungeon with all sort of stone, you can find your answer here," she says amicably. Thinking of her answer for a minute before looking toward her.
"Then I must explore this mountain, if I can solve the mystery of this mask, it will help me for my career," the fairy says with determination.
"I see, then be careful, mystery dungeons are dangerous for a reason," the mother says with a motherly smile. Bowing to her, he closes his bag and he puts it on him before saying goodbye to her. Entering his home, he walks toward his shelf, taking his small bag's content, putting it in his new wonder bag. He sees that it is bigger that his old bag. Taking the scarf, discovering it is a special one named an aura scarf, which boost all attributes of a pokemon, he puts it on the shelf thinking his scarf is enough. He ties his badge on himself, seeing it sticks without problem. Exiting his home, looking back toward his map to see where his destination, he treks on the road leading to his goal.
PMD: HoL
He reaches the front of the mountain, noticing indeed the various stone on the surface. Red, blue, green and a lot more but he is anxious about the fact there is a black lightning dancing between the stones. Thinking those stones could be enough, he decides not to do it, not wanting get hurt by those lightnings and the more specials one should at the peak. Resolving to climb now, he walks toward the entryway, entering the dungeon.

Thanks to the breakfast, he doesn't need to eat the first thing he found, taking Leavanny's offer was a good idea, apples will be used for exploration. And with his wonder bag, he will be able to carry more items, making the exploration more secure in his eyes. But he shouldn't lower his guard, wild pokemons roam around, apt to strike at any moment. Passing through rooms, he noticed even inside the stones are everywhere, the walls made of dark brown rocks. He found some money, an apple and some pebbles, knowing now that they are geo pebbles, a useful item to fight from long range. He crossed path with two pokemon. The first one resembles a small piece of coal. It has a single orange eye, while the rest of its body is black. It has a rugged exterior and lacks any limbs. Its lower body has a wheel, which it rolls on and uses for movement. The fairy recognized it as a Rolycoly.
I should find out how strong the pokemon are around. And I can't avoid fights if want to be stronger, was his thought. He took a geo pebble from his bag to initiating the fight. The pebble hits the wild one, drawing its attention to our hero. Being angered by the egg pokemon action, it creates a rock element orb before hurling toward the fairy, he recognized it as smack down.
During his study, one thing he found was the different move pokemon can use and oh boy, there are lot of them. Noticing the move coming, he can't help thinking it is slow. He avoided with ease before rushing toward his opponent, noting his increased speed. The coal pokemon was caught off guard for a second before charging. The two fighters clash in the middle but Lucius being faster, was able to follow with another normal attack, stunning his foe with pain. But he didn't stop, sending a series of normal punches before sending a Pound attack. The wild pokemon was sent away, hitting the dirt but it was able to stand up. Being enraged now, Rolycoly charged a fire ball before sending it. Not wanting his items and him being burned, knowing that Incinerate burns the foe and some items inside his bag. He doesn't know how it works, but wishes to never know. So, he avoided again with ease before using Sweet Kiss, so his foe wouldn't be able to dodge his Peck attack. After his opponent was knock out, he continued his exploration.
The second one was a green, canine Pokemon with yellow markings. It has a large head crest with angular, lightning-like markings on the side. Its snout has a yellow blaze, and four fangs are discernible when its mouth is open. It has a yellow stripe down its back. Each of its four legs has a spike, with the ones on its hind legs being longer. It has yellow crescent-shaped paw pads on its front feet, while the pads on its hind feet are circular. It has a small, pointed, yellow-tipped tail. The Electrike was the one to initiate the fight with Shockwave attack. But it wasn't a problem, thanks to his instincts, he was able to dodge it. The spike ball pokemon sent a pebble but the canine dodged with Quick attack, charging our hero. The fairy sidesteps the move before sending a Pound attack. But the wild one ducked under it before using again Shockwave. The move sent our hero away, electric arc dance on his body but he managed to stand up. He saw the canine charging with a Thunder Fang attack, he replied Charm making his foe hesitated giving time to use Peck to send the wild pokemon in the air, jumping and using a normal attack knowing that gravity will damage even more his opponent. The impact created a crater, but he didn't lower his guard. He saw Electrike standing up before using Roar. The fairy was sending away, hitting the wall behind him. Not letting his chance, the canine blitz toward Lucius with Quick attack. The egg pokemon had just enough time to dodge but couldn't take a break with how the canine continued his attack. Dodging again and again, he was about to put a stop to the barrage with Sweet Kiss but there is chance the move miss. So, taking his flame seed, being a blast seed, he bit it before spitting it, creating an explosion in front of him. The lightning took the blunt of the explosion, hitting the floor. Having his chance, Lucius blitz toward his foe, hitting the canine's temple with Pound. The wild pokemon didn't stand up after that.
The fairy now knew what can be expected from this dungeon, the rock pokemon was hard to hit while the electric pokemon was quick and tricky to fight. He used Life dew to heal his wounds after the second fight. He wonders too if those pokemon live there because of the stones and the lightning. He made a note to himself that environment can help him expecting what type of pokemons live in dungeons. The fight with the coal helps him identify his new brown energy knowing to be Rock type energy and with it, he will learn a new move soon. He is happy with this discovery. He only found an Escape Orb, knowing it will be useful if he is in a situation too dangerous, before the stairs.

It's been a while he was inside the dungeon. There are more rooms, increasing of finding the stairs. The floors are acting like a maze, he lost himself so many times because of it. He met other wild pokemon too. One was a small, orange, hermit crab-like Pokémon with large pincers. It had dark, oval-shaped eyes supported by eye stalks. It had a hook-like tail that is concealed underneath the sectioned chunk of gray rock it uses as a shell. Its name was Dwebble. Another was a monkey-like Pokémon with a three-fingered hand at the end of its tail. Its fur was purple, while the skin of its face, inner ears, belly, feet, and the tip of its tail were beige. Its face had a cheeky smile and round, blue eyes. Its name was Aipom. The last was a gray, rock-like Pokémon with a conical body. Its body had light blue crystals of various shapes and sizes embedded in it. A white, fluffy collar surrounded its small head. Its name was Carbink. The easiest was Aipom, being a normal type, it didn't resist his moves and fall quicker, it was a question of hitting the flexible pokemon. Then was Dwebble, being a rock type, resisted his moves, hurting at the same time his hands. The move Withdraw was not helping too. But he resisted its Bug moves, taking less damage, he just needed to be careful about Rock Slide, not wanting to be crushed. Carbink was the most difficult, rock type plus Harden made it laborious to damage, adding Rock Polish, he was hitting every two moves air. But what made it even more dangerous was it had Rock Slide and Ancient Power. The latter is move that has a chance to boost all attributes of the user, making Carbink even more dangerous. Just one was a horror but fighting several one depletes him fast. And with the other wild pokemon, he now understands while explorer went in teams. One on one fight is manageable, but he can be quickly outnumbered and drained. The good thing with all those fights was he learned the move Ancient Power and his guts tell him he will learn soon a new move. He was able to find many items, one being Max Elixir that help him restoring his moves energies. Now he has four Oran Berries, ten Geo Pebble, one Max Elixir, two Apple, one Escape Orb, one Rocky Orb and one Totter Seed. He found one Foe-Seal Orb too but used it due to be outnumbered. And then there was this Gray Gummi, his mind became sharper and it fills his stomach a little.
Now he is on the fifth floor, he detects the change on the wall, being darker in coloration with more black lightning. The fairy thinks he shouldn't the wall anymore or else being electrocuted. However, the only new danger is Murkrow, an avian Pokémon with black feathers. Its crooked, yellow beak and the three, feathery tufts on its head resemble a witch's nose and hat respectively. He decides to eat one Apple, to be on the sure side. But even if his stomach is filled, he begins to feel tired. His feet and hand are numb. He promises himself to wake up earlier in the morning, so he can train his stamina. He continues his exploration, trudging and fighting wild pokemon, finding an Empowerment Seed and money. He prays that the peak is nearby. Finding the stairs, he takes them not knowing the fight that strengthen his resolve.
Mt Hollowed Prism

He never feels so tired, he really needs to train more. He has now only three Geo Pebbles, he found some but he threw more than he restocks them. He uses strategies and normal attack instead of moves to conserve energies. But it only gets him so far, using his Totter Seed to escape a Murkrow considering its ability to fly made it too difficult to hit with just normal attack. He managed to find some gummies, filling his stomach full and making his mind sharper. Now he knows which pokemon is the more likely to faint first. He found a Gold Ribbon too; they don't have any effect but sell for a good price. He noticed the more he climbed, the stronger the wild pokemon. He has a feeling that the next stairs will lead to the peak. He sets himself to use his last energies and sacrificing one Oran Berry and his Max Elixir so he will be in shape at the peak, not liking the knot in his stomach. He was fighting wild pokemon left and right, sending Aipom into Murkrow, using Electrike body to block Dwebble moves. But his trudging comes to an end. Indeed, he finds the stairs leading to the peak. He prays that he will not need to fight, considering that he didn't find a Tiny Reviver Seed. Eating and drinking to restore himself, he climbs the stairs without letting his guard down due to his guts.
Mt Hollowed Prism
Peak
He is astonished by the view, he can see his home, the forest and the cave that served as his last home. To the left, there is only ocean but to the right, he can see some forest and desert with what he can recognized as canyon. But the most incredible thing is the giant red crystal wall across him and smaller crystal that served as fence for the border of the peak. He finally comes across the stone that he needs, feeling his instincts telling him they are a covered treasure. The only question is how to get some fragments. The black lightning is more intense on the crystal, making impossible to touch it without being electrocuted. But his thoughts were stop when his instincts flare, having enough time to jump backward. Something crashes where he was, leaving a dust cloud floating in the air. A strong wind blows the cloud away, revealing a large, avian Pokemon resembling a raven. Most of its body is a lustrous black, but its lower beak and legs have a matte color. Its feathers are tempered with steel. Its mantle, breast, belly, flanks, and scapular feathers are smooth and resemble plate armor. The fairy recognized it as Corviknight, a strong pokemon with hard armor. The worrying thing about it is the black aura covering its body like the dark Geodude in the cave. That's why he has this knot in the stomach, he will have no choice than to fight, anxious of how strong his foe is. But there is no return now, the raven scream before flying toward him.
(Play music /watch?v=7vdmqqLn0oU)
He just sidesteps in time, avoiding the sharp feather. With reflexes, he manages to throw a quick Ancient Power attack. The move hits, sending the rolling on the ground. He is surprise to see the avian pokemon standing up quickly but he is resolved to win now he discovered he can do damage to the bird. Corviknight blitzes toward him, pinwheeling before trying to swat its prey with a left revert wing slap but the egg pokemon ducks under it before trying to cross his arm to block the following right wing. He is sent away but recover in the air, using again Ancient Power. The raven crosses his wing, withstanding the move nevertheless it is sent three inches backward, leaving trenches with its talon. The raven, not wanting its prey on the offense, fly toward the egg pokemon before using Drill Peck. Lucius achieves to evade the move thanks to the boost he receives from his last move, but he sweats seeing the result: a large trench of four inches wide and two inches deep. The fairy begins to run to prevent his foe to have a chance to hit him. He uses Sweet Kiss to stop his opponent's movement, but the raven uses the momentum of its last move to avoid its prey's move. But the fairy isn't discouraged, he sends multiple Ancient Power attack, receiving one boost from one of them. But the raven just withstands the attacks to continue its path. When the raven is just an inch away from the fairy, it tries to peck its prey but the spike ball pokemon sidesteps before using Pound. But the move does almost nothing, just hurting his hand. The raven didn't flinch too.
Its armor is so hard! Thought the fairy, at the same time wincing. The raven uses this moment to use a quick Fury Attack. It's thanks to his increased speed that he manages to dodge however he only succeeds to let the move pass a fraction of inch away from his body. Knowing that he will get hit at one point, he uses Charm to reduce his opponent's strength, taking a hit and taking off the ground. While in the air, the fairy tries to use Ancient Power but without succeeding.
What?! Why can't I use it anymore?! Don't tell me I don't have enough rock energies! He thought with afraid. Seeing this, the raven capitulates on his chance, flying toward the egg pokemon with steel glowing wing, using Steel Wing to hit the fairy. Lucius is sent at high speeds toward the crystal wall, indenting the wall before taking a shock from the black lightning. He falls on the ground.
(Stop Music)
Lucius is panting heavily, black spots covering his sight. He looks up achingly toward his opponent, seeing that it landed before eyeing him. He begins to panic thinking of the last events.
Even with its strength decreased and my defense increased, it managed to damage this much. It means it would one shot me if I didn't receive the boosts. My only move that hurt it is no more, and he can avoid easily my Sweet Kiss, he though with panic. Wait, I need to calm down. There is surely something that can hurt it. Maybe this light power, for now, let's eat an Oran Berry and then found a way to use it. But the moment he tries to eat the berry, his muscle tenses.
What?! Was his only thought. Seeing that its prey tries to heal, the raven chooses finish him. It flies in the air, its body glows with a dark light before free falling toward the fairy, its body taking a menacing red border. It opens its wing as the last second but it only manages to hit the crystal wall as the fairy avoided in time, rolling on the ground. Using Life Dew to heal what he can, the egg pokemon ponders.
Why was I unable to eat? Was it one of its abilities? Was his thought. He hears the painful moan of his foe, laying on the ground with black and red lightning dancing on its body, trying to stand up.
I can understand the black lightning but why red lightning? He thought. What our hero doesn't know is the move Brave Bird has a recoil that manifest has red lightning. However, seeing this, hopes and determination bloom in his heat and with this determination, the light power manifest itself.
(Play music /watch?v=N72U-NFu44k)
His body begins to glow, the mask and scarf react to the power, giving great boosts to the fairy. But even the boost, it will not be enough to finish quickly. Taking the Empowerment Seed before eating it, he feels his muscle becoming harder. The raven, seeing this, tries to stand up quicker. It manages it but wasn't quick enough to block the left fairy's Pound, being hit on its stomach.
The raven flinches from the hit, not having recover from the recoil. The fairy sends a right Pound, the raven flinches again.
Don't stop! Was his only thought, knowing he can't let his chance go. He begins to send more and more Pound, all Critical hits thanks to the seed, boosted by the light power. It is a true barrage, he yells in determination, trying to hit quicker, stronger. Shockwaves leave the raven back, it is in pain, pushed again the wall from the hits. Although it tries to regain focus, so it can stop this barrage. A last right Pound hits the raven, leaving the fairy panting hard. It's the chance it wanted, it swats its prey with a revert wing slap so it can recover. Lucius succeeds to recover in the air but still panting. However, seeing his foe panting too and the damage on its plastron chest, he sets on to give his last energies.
One last punch, he thought. The raven, having recovers enough, becomes enraged before flying in the air for its last attack. It produces Steel Wing move before charging it with dark power, making the glow becoming darker. Watching this, Lucius prepares his move too, letting all his fairy energies flowing in his right hand, using the attack he used again the dark Geodude. After charging its move, the raven blitz toward the fairy, intending to end its prey. But the egg pokemon jumps above the raven at the last second. Time slow down, the raven is shocked but this event while the fairy rears his fist back. At the peak of his jump, time flows again, he lets gravity sending his fist on the raven's back. The move is devastating, the raven hits strongly the floor, spiderweb formed under it, shaking the mountain's peak. The swirl in the raven's eye and the blood leaving his mouth shows it will not get up.
(Stop music)
The fairy comes down from the raven's back, panting hard. With adrenalines leaving his body and the light power fading, he falls on his bottom, trying to regain his breath. Now that his opponent is defeated, he looks toward the crystal wall, trying to think a solution to get some fragments. But he doesn't need to think longer, he can see the wall broken, with fragments laying down safely on the floor. He stands up before trudging toward them. Taking enough to fill his bag, he presses his badge, wanting to leave the dungeon. A light covers him before he disappeared in light particle, teleported at the bottom of the mountain.
Lucius successfully completed Cheerless Cave!

When he reached home, he first enters his house to put down his bag on his shelf. Then he goes to Leavanny's house to get dinner. He knocks on her door, waiting just for a second before the door is slammed open, with Leavanny behind it.
"Are you alright?" she says concerned, inspecting every part of his body, eyeing the bruise on it.
"Yes, I am. I'm just hungry and so tired," he replies.
"I see," she sights in relief. "You're lucky, dinner is ready! Come!" she turns around, signing him to follow. He does before installing himself at the table. Lucius is happy to be able to eat, satisfying his stomach and beginning to recover his energies.
"So, can you tell me what happened? We see some light on the top of the mountain," she says, Sewaddle turns toward the fairy to listen too, wanting to hear about the cool fight or something.
"Well," he begins, thinking how to explain, "there was this crystal wall at the peak, I think I found what we searched. But to get it, I need to fight a Corviknight." Their eyes widened.
"I see," she says, shaking her head. "You fight a boss the first day of you career, you're quite something."
"Boss?" he asks, not having found anything about it in his study.
"Yes, they are pokemon who is the stronger of the dungeon. You often need to fight one to get the dungeon's treasure," she replies. "It means you got some fragments of this crystal wall?"
"Yes, I can show you them tomorrow if you want," he nods at her.
"Yes, I can help you to shape those fragments, so they can be the right size for your mask's notches," she says motherly. He agrees with her. They had finished the dinner before Lucius said goodbye to the family, wanting to sleep quickly. When he enters his house, he goes directly to his bed before sleep get him.

AN: Thanks for reading! What do you think? For me, it is a good chapter that I like. I know that it is a cliché to have a sudden boost when the hero is in danger. But the light power is a key point in the story. You will see why. And again, no OP, if Lucius didn't get boosts from Ancient Power, then he will be KO in One shot. I will put his moves and his items in the end of very chapters now.
Lucius Move:
Pound
Growl
Peck
Sweet Kiss
Life Dew
Charm
Ancient Power
Lucius Items:
Three Oran Berry
Three Geo Pebbles
One Apple
One Escape Orb
One Rocky Orb
One Gold Scarf
418 Pokedollars
