Summary:

Kozuki Allen's feelings for Sakaki Yuya roll into the station, right on schedule.

"Be yourself, Allen. In your mind, you've already recognized him. Sakaki Yuya is our comrade."

Shun saying that was really something.

Although Allen had welcomed the Lancers into the Resistance, after finding out Yuya was the son of their former teacher, Sakaki Yusho, Allen couldn't help but let his anger slip. He thought Yusho abandoned them. He thought Yusho was a coward, and jumped on the hate train shunning Yusho's son for their teacher's unexplained desertion.

This was war. Turning your back on your comrades meant the difference between them returning alive or being carded.

The warmth Allen greeted the Lancers with was quickly pushed off the tracks. A more mature and less wide-eyed voice, toughened to iron by Academia's invasion on the Xyz Dimension's soil, took the shift.

He'd railroad Yuya like he wanted to railroad Academia's army. That, he thought, would make him feel better after Yusho's sudden departure.

But Allen was moved by Yuya's performance, like the Academia soldiers Allen also distrusted.

Yuya brought smiles to the oppressors, and took back the smiles for Allen and the Resistance too.

Hatred and its kind will not build tomorrow. Smiles inspire people to become strong.

Yusho inspired Heartland. Inspired Alllen. And now, Yuya had inspired enemies to break bread and smile together.

Yuya inspired Allen.

Would his rollerboots fit Yuya, Allen wondered. Did they wear the same size?

Imagining Yuya wearing the rollerboots he worked so hard on, Allen felt an urgency he blushed thinking about.

The warmth from Yuya's handshake still looped in his palm. It arrived as he remembered Yuya's openness, right on schedule. Chugga chugga woo woo!

"They're my feelings! Take them!" He gave Yuya his rollerboots.

Maybe when this all blew over, Allen could tell Yuya what he really meant.

Allen just had no idea where Yuto fit into the picture.
