It's Always Better Together

I'm going to take part in the 30-day OTP challenge. Normally, I don't do this, but something really struck me about these two free-spirited girls who challenge gender normativity and yet don't mind being lovey-dovey toward one another. This is for the recently revealed pairing of Becky and Dodge of The Casagrandes. The couple caught me off guard in multiple ways. I'm all for the relationship, but I can't beat around the bush; this couple is unique. They're interracial, lesbian, wild girls, jerks, jocks, boorish...and they're not even teenagers. There have been some instances of younger LGBTQ people in animation. Tomoyo Daidouji was confirmed as a lesbian at age 10 and crushing on her second cousin, Sakura. There is nothing truly new under the sun. Almost everyone on that show seemed to stray from straight, but I digress. By the way, I expect more of what I will call Dodgcky in season three of The Casagrandes. Make it so!
