Introduction to the Characters

Before we begin this story, I would like to introduce the main characters for newcomers who do not know these characters.

From PJ Masks:

Connor / Catboy – Connor is a blue-eyed boy with brown hair. When he transforms, he wears a blue cat costume. His powers include super speed, super sensitive hearing, high jump, and stripes.

Amaya / Owlette – Amaya is a brown-eyed bespectacled girl. She has dark brown hair with a pink, wing-shaped hair clip. When she transforms she wears a red owl costume. Her powers include nighttime vision, the ability to fly, the ability to make a strong gust of wind from her wings, and super feathers.

Greg / Gekko – Greg is a green-eyed, blonde-haired boy. When he transforms, he wears a green lizard costume with a thick reptilian tail and fins on top of his head. His powers are super strength, invisibility (though some may see him by noticing irregularities in the background), sticking on walls for scaling, and shields.

Romeo – A mad scientist who plans on world domination with all the inventions he creates, and the main antagonist in the series.

Robot - A robot that is Romeo's henchman.

From Miraculous Ladybug:

Marinette Dupain-Cheng (a.k.a. Ladybug) is a 14-year-old blue haired, blue-eyed, budding fashion designer at Collège Françoise-Dupont and her family operates a renowned bakery. Marinette is sweet, joyful, clumsy, and sometimes a bit awkward, but respected and generally popular amongst her peers and is extremely intelligent despite her occasional clumsy ways. Marinette is deeply in love with Adrien Agreste, to whom she can barely speak to out of nervousness; her best friend Alya often tries to help Marinette to declare her love to him, only for it to end in failure.

Tikki is the Kwami of creation who enables Marinette to transform into Ladybug. Tikki is a small floating rat-like magical creature with a large head, big eyes, and a red body with large black spots on her head, resembling a ladybug. Tikki is a positive and serious Kwami, who believes strongly in Marinette and she gives her advice to be the best that she can be, regardless of transformation. She is more than 13 billion years old, and has watched over every Ladybug since the beginning.[a] During Marinette's transformation, Tikki inhabits the Ladybug Miraculous, a pair of earrings worn by Marinette.

Adrien Agreste a.k.a. Cat Noir ("Black Cat") (French: Chat Noir) is Marinette's classmate whom she has a huge crush on, though he is oblivious to her crush and only sees Marinette as a friend. Adrien comes from a wealthy family, and is a popular fashion model for the clothing company of his father Gabriel though he laments the poor relationship he has with him; his mother, meanwhile, has inexplicably disappeared. Adrien is kind, loyal, sensitive and well-liked, and hangs out often with his best friend Nino. With the help of his kwami, Plagg, can transform into the superhero Cat Noir (French: Chat Noir, "black cat") to fight with Ladybug in saving Paris from Hawk Moth's villains. As Cat Noir, he is more rebellious and care-free, while also being deeply in love with Ladybug and often trying to win her affections, despite not knowing her true identity. His weapon is a multi-functional staff and his special power, "Cataclysm", allows him to destroy anything he touches.

Plagg is the Kwami of destruction who enables Adrien to transform into Cat Noir. Plagg looks much like Tikki, but with a black body, green eyes, and pointed ears, resembling a black cat. Unlike Tikki, however, Plagg is sarcastic and lazy, in a parallel to Cat Noir's relationship with Ladybug. Although he cares for Adrien, he is less invested in his problems and often gives wrong or destructive advice. His favorite food is camembert, which he is shown to have an obsession for. During his Adrien's transformation as Cat Noir, he inhabits the Black Cat Miraculous, a ring worn by Adrien on his right hand.

Alya Césaire a.k.a. Rena Rouge ("Red Fox") is Marinette's best friend. She constantly helps Marinette with her problems, most of which pertain to Marinette attempting, and failing, to speak to Adrien; she is often seen encouraging and helping her to talk to him. She aspires to be a journalist and is in charge of the school blog. She is a big fan of superheroes and like her peers, is a massive fan of Ladybug; she even operates a fansite known as the Ladyblog.

Gabriel Agreste is a famous fashion designer, and Adrien's strict, overprotective father. He serves as one of the main antagonist of this story. Gabriel has unified the Butterfly and the newly repaired Peacock Miraculous together to become "Shadow Moth". This allows him to use both the power of Akumatization and Amokization. Amokization power allows him to bring emotions to life and create sentimonsters to help in on his quest to gain Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous. During Three Kings Day in Paris, he develops the ability to create "Megakumas"; more powerful akumas capable of breaking shields and destroying Ladybug's Magical Charms. His weapons are a cane that acts as a sword stick, a tessan fan which he gains his amoks from, and his special power, "Akumatization", allows him to create akumas; corrupted butterflies that are drawn to intense negative emotions. Once he has acquired a target, Hawk Moth is able to send the akuma to possess and transform his victim into a supervillain with special powers, which he uses in an effort to acquire Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses. Gabriel's prime motivation for stealing the superheroes' Miraculous is to use their combined power to restore his comatose wife, Emilie; although it is later revealed during said Three Kings Day that he now intends to destroy the world and create a new one where he and Emilie can live together.

From Code Lyoko:

Jeremie Belpois - a 13-year-old top-of-the-class student who finds and starts the factory's supercomputer while looking for parts to build a robot. By turning on the Supercomputer, he reawakened Aelita, the virtual world of Lyoko, and the malevolent multi-agent system X.A.N.A.. As part of the group, he specializes in programming new ways to defeat X.A.N.A. and monitors the group while they are on Lyoko.

Aelita Schaeffer - Mainly known by her alias Aelita Stones, Aelita is the smartest of the group alongside Jeremy. At the beginning of the series, she was trapped within Lyoko, inside the Supercomputer. She was originally thought to be an AI until it was revealed that she's the daughter of Franz Hopper, the creator of the world of Lyoko. As a little girl, she lost her mother. On Lyoko, she has an elf-like appearance, similar to that of "Mr. Pück," a toy elf from her childhood. She has the "power of creation": the ability to create or remove objects, such as rocks or bridges, from the virtual environment. She had no weapons or defense until season 3 of the show when she developed the ability to use "energy fields," pink balls of plasma that can be thrown or used to block enemy fire. She also has light pink angel wings as part of her new virtual attire, allowing her to fly.

Odd Della Robbia - The comic relief of the group. Odd is credited as having great potential when it comes to school, but rarely uses it, and as a result of this, he gets bad grades due to his lack of studying. On Lyoko, he is clothed like a cat, with a tail and clawed gloves that shoot "laser arrows." He can also summon a purple shield by crossing his arms in front of his body. Another one of Odd's abilities is being able to use his claws to climb on walls.

Ulrich Stern - A more reserved member of the group, Ulrich has a hard time sharing his feelings. His parents pressure him to achieve well in school, but he has difficulty learning and living up to their expectations. In his off-time, he practices Pencak silat with Yumi, whom he has a crush on. He suffers from vertigo, which makes it hard to participate in activities such as rock climbing. On Lyoko, he wears a yellow and brown outfit inspired by Japanese samurai. His main weapon is a katana, and can dual wield them. His "Supersprint" ability allows him to dash at high speed, and his "Triplicate" power lets him create two clones of himself. He can combine these abilities in a technique called "Triangulate," using his clones to form a triangle around an enemy and ambush it from behind when it is distracted.

Yumi Ishiyama - A fairly reserved student who lives near and attends Kadic. She is the oldest of the group. She is of Japanese descent and has one younger brother, Hiroki. Because of her parents and culture, she must maintain good grades and observe family values. At home, she generally has to deal with marital issues between her parents. She practices pencak silat with Ulrich, whom she has a crush on, though it's not as obvious as Ulrich's crush on her. She always wears black and has enough basic knowledge of the Supercomputer to operate it in Jeremy and Aelita's absence. On Lyoko, Yumi is dressed in a geisha-inspired outfit with an obi sash. Her main weapon is a Tessen fan and her one-and-only power is telekinesis, allowing her to move objects and levitate her three best friends with her mind alone; it is rarely used as it tires her out pretty quickly.

X.A.N.A. - Sometimes known as XANA, is an evil and powerful computer virus based on a multi-agent system. It is merciless, craves destruction, and serves as the central antagonist of the series. It was originally created by Franz Hopper to destroy Project Carthage: a military communications system that Franz Hopper had previously been involved with. He mentions that his motives were to prevent the French government from obtaining access to Project Carthage. Unfortunately, due to his repeated returns to the past, X.A.N.A. evolved until it achieved self-awareness, choosing to betray Franz and trap him and his daughter Aelita inside Lyoko. Franz has no choice but to shut down the Supercomputer to stop its rampage. After it was reawakened in the present day, X.A.N.A. continues to wreak havoc on Earth and displays no mercy towards those who stand in its way. It grows smarter and more powerful with every return in time, and can think of greater plans and goals beyond random destruction. X.A.N.A. has no actual physical form as a program. Instead, X.A.N.A. activates Lyoko structures called "Towers" to access the real world with virus extensions of its multi-agent system while remaining inside the Supercomputer, and can only be stopped by deactivating the Towers. On Earth, X.A.N.A. can manipulate and channel electromagnetic phenomena and hack networks or manifest ghostly spectres from outlets at will to possess objects or living things like a virus to bend to its will (usually marked with its eye symbol as a sign of its control) to wreak havoc or target its enemies. After evolving further, X.A.N.A. learns to possess humans or manifest polymorphic spectres to follow its orders as pixelized vessels with its spectral or electrical abilities. On Lyoko, it creates deadly monsters to fight enemies and attack virtual targets, and uses programs to alter environments, plant bugs or viruses, manipulate incomplete warriors, or create virtual objects. Sometime later, the heroes discover X.A.N.A. has infected hundreds of other supercomputers in the network to build weapons and technology to conquer the world.

Before anyone asks, this story takes place sometime in Code Lyoko Season 4, after the ML: ToLaCN episode "Gang of Secrets" and before "Mr. Pigeon 72", and after the PJ Masks episode "Wacky Floats".
