Her name was Natsuiro Matsuri, a female school idol from Aogami High located in Kyoto. Today she had heard from the teachers about the news of a transfer student that will come to their school.

The rumour itself had already circulated pretty much throughout the entire school, especially so since it was unheard of for a transfer student to attend in this point of time, just a week left before mid term.

Oh, and Apparently some people pointed out it was a boy.

Damn shame.

'When will I get myself a loli transfer student...', she mumbled inside her mind, "Hopefully, atleast the new guy won't be so troublesome."

She had many boys in her class asking her out in the past, accentuated by the fact that she was the school's idol has made those love confession doubled in total. It didn't help that she then became desperate enough to start dating girls just in order to send a clear message that she wasn't interested in taking their hands at all.

It had been a quite an interesting middle school experience.

Which had also been one of her reason to move out from Tokyo to Kyoto Branch of High School, but then some of her 'friends' which she didn't know had followed her had also been registered in the same high school as her and then they also approached her, all the while boasting about her 'school idol' status in her previous school.

Tsk.

And of course, those love confession came back again – while still mildly lower compared to her middle school, those letters were still such a pain to respond. Especially so when the sender was stubborn to a degree when they were pursuing their unrequited love.

As such, in order to not accumulate further brain damages from mulling over such things, Natsuiro Matsuri tried to relax herself in the way that only she knew how, "Ahhh, Yu chan! You're my only comfort in this cruel world~", She trailed softly as she glomped a white haired girl from behind her chair.

"Awawawa! Matsuri san! Don't surprise me like that! I almost jumped you know...!", in turn she reprimanded her spontaneous act of skinship, "Wait, lemme finish this first then we can go to the cafeteria."

The girl's name was Shirayuki Inari, a female high school student which was also the class president of the classroom she was in, "How much longer is it?", she asked while playing with Shirayuki's hair.

"Hmmm, wait I just need to write this one.", Shirayuki said as she scribbled something inside a massive book on top of the teacher's desk, "Alright, done! Let's go Matsuri!"

"Haii!!", Matsuri responded as the two walked side by side down the corridor.

"Mmmh, I wonder what should I get for lunch..."

"Why not a Kitsune Udon? I heard they had a special 'free inari sushi' one for today!"

"Huh really?! What are you waiting for? Let's go!"

"Hahaha, race you there~!", Shirayuki Inari – Matsuri noticed – have always loved something with an aburaage added in them, she doesn't know why but her white haired friend have always loved eating those deep friend thin tofu' for as long as she remembered, however she always looked cute when she ate them.

Which was the reason why Matsuri loved riling her friend up with her favorite food.

Of course, while also have some benefit for herself, "oh! Yu chan! If you win, I will get you another portion of them—"

"But if I win, Shirayuki san! I want your-"

Without even hearing the rest of it the girl in question bolted, her mind already salivated at the mere thought of another portion of it, which was why she overlooked the betting prize.

'Let's go!! Double Kitsune Udon!', the battle cry chanted itself repeatedly inside her mind, and with a new found strength born of desire to devour her favorite soul food completely, Shirayuki Inari went past her only competitor.

"—kiss...", after realizing that her friend had basically left her behind in the dust, Matsuri quickly made her way to catch up to her friend, "Hey! W-wait!"

The two best friend did not even stop when the teacher called out on them.

Sagami Ichiei was having a really, really bad day.

Omegaα had just given him his first task, however the one thing she didn't bother to mention was the fact that in order to complete the task objectives, he needed to attend a high school, specifically the one that was built in Kyoto – Aogami High School.

And that means he needed to be a student once again.

–Now, since when had he ever been a highschool student again?

Honestly he couldn't really remember as he had basically given up his school days entirely and just barely made a passing grade as well as with his attendance in his later [Cycle] as he saw no reason to repeat his education over and over.

Sure they had made him well known in the subject of matter, however he was sick of learning something which he had already known over and over, that's why on most of the later [Cycle] he became mostly a NEET - sparking quite the worries from his parents. He had of course felt really bad for them, but a long time living a single repeated life could really do that to you. You know they meant well, you already knew they meant well, however sometimes those love were too overbearing, even for him - which had been the sole reason he then started living alone after he celebrated his seventeenth birthday.

Well, he still made sure to keep them in touch, so no harm done right?

At first it was just that, one of many an escape attempt away from his despair and sense of hopelessness - not wanting them to be noticed and then affecting his parents - Thus he had chosen to left them and only connect with them through written letters and the like. His parents too seemed to be satisfied with just only that and ever since then it had always became a norm in all of his [Cycle] to live alone.

Sometimes he would visit them, just to make sure that some of his choices hadn't affected their well being.

But beside that, he pretty much lived through the life of a young hermit.

Of course, his choice of living wasn't cheap, there were many hurdle and obstacle along the way, but he made do with just using his knowledges in the stock market industry - you just pick a few of the many shares that were available in the market, then voilà! You're ready to accumulate those shares to a wealth that could even remained throughout all seven generations.

In fact, the money he had been using to attend the school as well as renting a block to live in had came from his own pocket!

Incidentally, with some insider information of which he lovingly dubbed 'Insight of the Future' or just plain old cheating using his future knowledge then picking an already winning horse, those wealth had accumulated nicely enough in no time.

He felt no remorse toward the money which he technically swindled from those soon to be large companies, in his defense, the path of corporate and business were just that hard.

He just slightly made those suffering a few degree of burn higher.

Also, its not like he ever had any needs to make use of those money excessively-

well, maybe just that one time he tried to reform an entire shopping district to turn it into a giant christmas festival in the middle of June.

...

To be fair, the massive influx of 'donation' had basically helped those entire area for years to come. Otherwise few of those stores would face bankruptcy in the upcoming years, something he wasn't really a fan of - since one of those closed stores do indeed sells some nice onigiris.

Then the police starteda full investigation on his account, suspicious of the fact that he basically throwing money into something which he had no intention to take profit in.

Hell, he almost got accused of money laundering!

Fun.

But he digress, its not like those stores closing really impacted his life nor because it was his own fault, as such he just helped them whenever he felt like it.

Besides, those specific [Cycle] had already long past and gone as well, why the need for him to dwell on those?

Thus, He just had them shelved with his other past time.

The sound of loud stomps and thuds echoed through the hallway he was in, as two figures just zoomed past him. Although he couldn't really saw their faces, their outlines as well as the uniform they were wearing had suggested that they were both females around his current age,

"Dang, those are some fast legs.", he commented as his eyes squinted toward the direction they went until they were gone around the corner, afterward he turned and walked away from the path he came, "Oh well, back to the task of finding the classroom."

Wait.

Suddenly he realized something as he quickly turned around, even though he knew that they were already gone, Ichiei couldn't stop remembering something which he was sure definitely not supposed to be there – in a school nonetheless!

Unless it was the school festival prop – which he was sure it wasn't – and that today there hadn't been any mention of such event, then those have got to be the second most weird thing he had seen. With Omegaα being the first one, of course.

As such, only but a single thought ran across his mind,

'Did-

did that girl have a tail?!'
