Chapter 4: An accidental rivalry? Theo vs Noboru

"How was today's food Bunker?" Theo asked

"It's delicious especially the napolitan." Bunker said

"I am glad." Theo sighed as he remembered how much failure he has done it

"Oh yeah you better go to school." Bunker said as they look at the time

"Yeah right…" Theo said as he uses his magic to get his clothes up and changed his clothes on

"Then let's go?" He asked as he was going outside he suddenly saw Ace

"Want to go to school together?" Ace asked

"Um… sure…" Theo gladly accept as he is going to school with Ace and on his way there they talked much about how school was

"He sure is still as happy go lucky as always…" Ace thought as he saw how talkative Theo is

"Hmm are you hearing me?" Theo asked

"Yeah sure I'm listening.." Ace said

"I think you were off first just save the sit for me…" He said as he had to park the buddy police car on the parking area

"Yeah sure let's go bunker…" Theo said as he and bunker are off

When they left Axia comes out from his buddy form

"Why can't I talk?" Axia asked

"Because you are a bit annoying to deal with.." Ace said as he grabs Axia tightly

"Sorry! Sorry! But did you think about it a way to defeat tasuku?" Axia asked

"Hmm no I can't think off anything if he was using a dragon world deck sure I have some countermeasure but what about if he uses drkness dragon world that card is nasty." The mage pointed out about Tasuku that he can use two worlds

"Hmm Right…." Ace thought

"And we can't use Drum-kins again I am embarrassed that we can only win against Tetsuya because I use him." Axia said

"Then I'll think of something…" Ace said

"If he was to used other worlds it would be…" He thought

Meanwhile,

"Noboru give it back that Takoyaki is mine.." Gao said

"Not a chance…" Noboru said teasingly

"Hey what is going on here?" Theo asked

"Here you go." Noboru give back the Takoyaki

"What? are you mad new kid?" He asked

"Just what do you want with Gao anyway teasing him like that?' Theo asked

"Because I wanted too after all he owe me yesterday." Noboru said

"Noboru I'll get to you later the Takoyaki…" Gao said

"Even if he owe you that isn't right…" Theo said

"Then what are you going to do about it senior?" Noboru asked

"Of course let's settle this with a fight." Theo said as he is getting his deck core case ready but the bell rings

"Well that is the bell we'll do it after school what do you say?" Noboru asked

"You're on…" Theo said as he is pumped and wenton first

"Noboru you do realize that this takoyaki had wasabi in it right?" Gao asked

"What?! So I almost lay out on a trap…" Noboru gasped

"Yeah… that I owe you still stands that is why just come over after the match I have to thank you for giving my mom a reason for my late absence yesterday." Gao sighed

"Well at least that solves things but I just used this chance to test the new kid out… I heard rumor that he defeats tasuku senior and I want to see if that is true or not…" Noboru said calmly

"But who is crazy enough to put wasabi on a Takoyaki?" He asked dumbfounded

"I did…" Drum said as he flew down

"Thanks gao for holding my end…" He said

"I thought you hate wasabi?" Noboru raised his eyebrows

"I learnt my lesson kitten shirt." Drum grabbed the Takoyaki and flew off

"It's tiger!" Noboru shouted

"See ya at lunch well could you tell baku I need his assistance thanks…" Noboru said as he leaves as his buddy El Quixote appeared

"Are you sure about this tiger boy?" El Quixote asked

"Think of this as his wake up call he might be the new kid but I'm gonna show it to him he needs experience to back it up. Gao is my best friend I know sometimes I act out of place meddling him but…" Noboru smiled genuinely

"You have grown well…" El Quixote looked at his buddy

At lunch time

"I'll show him…" Theo said as he looks angry while bunker is eating his lunch while rearranging the crd in his deck

"Hey you shouldn't just change your deck like that theo… we won't know…" Bunker warned theo

"It's gonna be fine…" Theo said as he built his deck together

"I did warn you…" Bunker sighed as the bell rings where now Noboru finalized his deck with Baku and Kuguru

"Thanks Baku…" Noboru smiled

"Why didn't you just explain to him it was a mistake?" Kuguru asked

"He is the type that needs to be explain in a fight…" Noboru sighed

"Just don't be too hard on him…" Baku said

"I won't don't worry…" Noboru said calmly

After school

"Hello Buddyfighters! This is a rare match it's the new kid Theoros Drake will be facing off against Our senior buddyfighter and rank 2 on the 6th grade Kodo Noboru!" Paruko shouted

"Roar and Awaken from a long sleep, Luminize! The Bunker Army!"

"With golden wings on my back, I soar through the sky! Luminize! Noble Winged Knights!"

"Everyone you know the drill! Now let's buddy!"

"Fight!"

Everyone on the stadium cheered

"Open the flag!"

"Let me show you how the tiger fights…" Noboru looks serious

"Theo… be careful Noboru is a skilled one." Ace looked at the fight from the buddy police office while doing his work

"Hurry up and finish your work!" Axia warn him while giving him the bonk in the head

"Got it Got it… Sheesh you are a bit strict sometimes…" Ace sighed

"Because after this we got a fight with tasuku right they are just a warm up…" Axia said

"Yeah…" Ace smiled as Tasuku goes up to his office

"Let's go we don't want to be late…" Tasuku said as Jack is floating beside him

The fight is skipped on turn 2 as Theo destroyed red barron while bunker does 2 damage to Noboru but when the last attack he uses blue dragon shield

"I end my move!"

"Why did you challenge me to a fight?" Noboru asked

"Think about it draw then charge and draw!"

"Let's go Dragon Knight El Quixote right buddycall!"

"For Glory of the dragon knights!"

"I set by paying 1 gauge! Cavalry Academy! By paying 1 gauge and 1 life and the two dragon knights to this cards soul! Equip! Emperial Cavalry Dragon, Atlas Hyperion(att: 8000 crit: 3) now what should I do?" Noboru begins his move and thinks about it

"That would suffice…"

"I move rapier to the center!"

"Let's do a link attack El Quixote!"

"An assault of glory!" El Quixote shouted

The attack hits Theo directly as Rapier is destroyed

"Don't forget my penetrate…" Noboru said as he gives theo a damage resulting in 3 damage

"Atlas Hyperion has penetrate and when he destroyed or deals damage to you I get to draw 1 card gain 1 gauge and add 1 life back." Noboru said

"Go Maximilian continue the on slaught!" He shouted as Maximilliam goes for the damage leaving theo at 4 damage as Noboru looked at his gauge

"This is my turn!" Noboru goes for the second damage

"I cast blue dragon shield!" Theo guarded the last attack

"So close! I end my move!" Noboru acts like he is in panic

"My turn draw then charge and draw I call rapier once more." Theo said

"And I cast dragon breath! Now you're going to the drop zone el quixote!"

"Rapier, Drum go and attack the fighter!"

"Got it!"

Bunker and Rapier deals damage

"This is the last one!"

"I won't lose here! I cast! Green dragon shield!"

Noboru looks at his hands and gauge

"This could work…"

"Let me show you the powerful dragon knights in my deck… Dragon Knight Napoleon to the right area and gilles de rais from the drop zone to the center area as size 0!" Noboru shouted

"Bunker move to the center!" Theo said

"I'll protect my buddy!"

"Napoleon go and clear the center then gilles move on…" Noboru said as instantly bunker is destroyed

"My turn!" Noboru attacks directly giving three damage almost knocking Theo out as his life is only 3 more as Noboru regains 1 life, 1 gauge and a draw

"I won't give up I cast! Blue dragon shield!" Theo guards the attack but Noboru looks at his gauge

"I cast Dragonic charge plus!"

"Will it come?!" Paruko shouted

"This will be the last one ready everyone?!"

"Impact!" Dragon Cavalry arts Ultimate Smash!"

Game End: Winner Kodo Noboru

"That was an intense battle!" Paruko shouted

"Whew that was a close one…" Noboru sighed

After the fight in the break room

"And that is what happens…" Gao told everything to Theo

"So it's all because of a wasabi Takoyaki?!" Theo shouted

"Why didn't you tell us kitten shirt?" Bunker asked

"It's tiger! I just go with the flow and Gao here needs someone to check on him…" Noboru gives him a noogie/ nudge on the head

"So you're not bullying him?" Theo asked confusedly

"We were friends in like forever why would I ever bully him? I mean he sometimes prank me but i guess i am a bit of jealous at times…" Noboru sighed

"Well we should just look on the next fight it's an important one…" The screen on the break room looks clear to the buddyfight area

"And now the last Class 6 vs class 7 exhibition match finals will begin will it be the wonder and charming Tasuku Ryuenji or will it be the magician duo Ace and his partner Axia?" Both of them look at each other

"I'll win!" They shouted in unison
