Chapter 6: The Gaen Siblings part 1 : The memory that shouldn't have seen
Ace is looking as serious as he can be as he is back at his apartment he hasn't been going to school for a few days now
"Ace we can't be forever locked up here…" Axia said as he looked serious
"Hmm I am just thinking about this keycard that ryugo give me…" Ace sighed as he looked at the keycard
Flashback
"Since you are now going to be active in the family's heir I'm going to give you this keycard I am going back to my training now." The masked older sibling that Ace revers to Ryugo throws him the card
"Heads up… If you want to find the truth then that is the way and be back before the appointment as Gaen's you need to know your truth after all you are father's favorite…" Ryugo said as he leaves
"I leave you at your own device."
End of flashback
"If I want to know the truth…" Ace looked serious
Meanwhile
"Yahooo!" Theo shouted as he is finishing bathing in his new bathroom that looks wider than it usually have like his personal bathroom
"Hey kid we need a sauna and of course you know what I mean for once I kinda like your magic…" Bunker looked calmly
"And should we added bunker dragons for you?" Theo asked
"Um I'll consider it.." Bunker said
"Once we are done I am making a fetuccini you want some?" Theo asked
"I'll eat whatever you want kid…" Bunker said calmly as both of them are starting to prep for dinner a mail was sent to their apartment at night as he looked outside and saw that the mail is engraive in a bit of Gold with a G sign that is the Gaen official cap letter
"Kid we've got a letter…" Bunker said as both of them looked at the letter
"This was an invitation to the Gaen Mansion…" Theo reads it
"When?" Bunker asked
"Um… 2 more days…" Theo said
"Why would the gaen's invite us anyway?" Bunker asked
"Beats me…" Theo said as he also wants to know
"Did I smelllsomething burnt?" Bunker asked as smoke begins to pull out
"Ahhhh! My sauce!" Theo shouted as he looked t his cooking and looked annoyed
"Ahhhhh! I have to make it again!" He shouted as Theo's phone seems to be going off
"Bunker would you get my phone?" Theo shouted as Bunker gets to Theo's phone and answer
"Yes hello?" Bunker asked as on the phone it was Ace's voice
"Do you have Theo on hand?" Ace asked
"Who is it bunker?" Theo asked
"It's Ace!" Bunker shouted
"Ace what's up?" Theo asked as he gets on the phone
"Want to grab dinner? Ace asked
"Just say yes…" Bunker whispered
"Uh sure… Where can we meet?" Theo asked
"Do you like kebab?" Ace asked
"A K-what now?" Theo asked
"I'll send you my location let's talk." Ace said as he hung up
"He is a weird one but nonetheless it has been a while." Theo said as both of them changed their gear out and take the train going to the designated place
Ace is waiting right out of the kebab place
"Oh so this is the stand?" Theo asked
"One and only Buddy tuber has been going on here." Ace said as they takes the line it was long
"I'll have the usual what do you want?" He asked as theo seems to be a bit confused
"Hmm I'll be having what he is having as for bunker…" Theo said as Bunker picks the most expensive built
"I'll pick this one!" Buunker shouted
"Well then go ahead…" Ace said as he gestured Bunker in and they waited
"Where were you this past few days?" Theo asked
"Family problems but I still get in contact with teachers on what I miss so don't worry I won't be far behind oh yeah theo I have a weird favor to ask…" Ace asked
"Favor what kind of favor?" Theo asked
Could you read my mind? I mean you could do magic right?" Ace asked
"Y-yeah…" Theo gulped as he has never seen Ace looked serious and their kebab is ready where Ace gets for them and they stopped for the supermarket just to have a chat or two it is truly a silent night at the martas both of them eats their food Theo tried it one bite and he was amaze by the taste
"This taste really delicious how about you drum?" He asked as they saw drum stuffing all of the food in one gulp but choking mid-way what he ordered was the all kebab supreme which include all kinds of meat inside some may call it mystery meat
"Water! Water!" Bunker shouted as both Ace and Theo laughed
"Here you go partner…" Theo said as he give Bunker's drink and the dragon gulped it instantly
"Next time just eat normally." He sighed
"Theo could you?" Ace asked as after a while both of them finish eating
"Before I do this why did you not want to meet me?" Theo asked
"I was banned to see you but like this I feel like I should see you…" Ace said
"See me?" Theo look dumbfounded
"I just want to make sure what I find with Axia is true." Ace said seriously
Flashback
"Okay… no one is here now use the keys…" Ace said as he infiltrates the gaen corporation main line as he saw no one there on the archive set where he looked at the security file as before he come here it was mostly locked out for him but now it was unlocked
"This is my file…" He saw his folder on the archive along with theo in one set as they hear footsteps coming along as someone is going to the room
As the downloading bar is finished it was none other than Ryuka who is inspecting the archive section as Ace almost sneeze but Axia holds it for him as she goes out
"Whew that was close…" Ace sighed and goes outside but Azi dahaka is watching from the shadows
"Now the fun begins." The demonic dragon laughed evilly
End of flashback
"What I found is that the reason that you arrive here was not entirely because of your spell…" Ace informed theo
"So someone interfered with my spell?" Theo asked
"Exactly…" Ace said
"And theo things have been bugging me why did everytime I was around you I felt unease." He said
"Then do you want to try and see your memory?" Theo asked as he was a bit of unsure himself
"But who do we do this?" The young magician seems to be a bit confuse
"I'll just try and take your hand." Ace begins to touch theo's hands
"And then…" He said as Theo begins to radiated some magic to Ace as Ace begins to see his memory he saw the day of when he was on the experiment he was brought along by the gaen group he was part of a test of opening the rift through world without the uses of cards and it linked to another world entirely
"Are you ready for this?"
"To save them I'll do whatever it takes."
"We'll begin the dive."
The gaen researchers said to Ace as he begins to wear a suit or some sort but the past is hazy but it changes into Theo's memory of his not so good past he was fostered back and forth with no one wants him as his foster family only wants him for his foster care money he was fortunate to meet most of the heroes around but people looked at him with disgust as the memory begins to feel weird
On the regular place it looks like Theo's magic was leaking out making like a static to Ace's mind as it warps around
Flashback
"Brother! One day let's meet again but for now…" The only memory that Ace could see was flooding into him a memory that he shouldn't have had it was overloading his other memories
As the place was a battlefield and from the look of iit Theo has died leaving Ace alone
"No it can't be…" He said as the memory was too much for him to handle
"How many more times will you do this?"
"Theo stop…" Bunker tried to get both of them off but he can't
"Let me handle this…" A winged dragon appeared as her majestic white armor and angelic feature really determined her
"Link cut!" She pulls out her sword and saw the linkage of magic and cuts the connection
"Hufff Hufff!" Theo looked tired but Ace is in a much more horrible state as he was holding all of his body
"I shouldn't have…" Ace looked devastated on what he saw his body is shivering to the core
"It is too much…" He said as he is trying to process everything
"Ryu I mean Ace I was here to fetch you back home." The dragon said
"Just who are you?" Bunker asked
"I am the Holy dragon deity, Rachiel." The dragon said
"Holy Dragon Deity?" Bunker said as he looked over Theo
"If I and Theo are then…" Ace still talking very silently
"Just what is happening with him?" Theo asked as he recovered back
"He processed memories and your magic is amplifying his memory dive it means that he can look from either yours or his own thankfully I cut it before it went on further he is now having what you may call a memory overload…" The dragon said
"Wait how did you know about these things?" Theo asked
"If you want to ask it then ask his sister I am just here to fetch him up sorry to bother you now let's get you some hot chocolate and get you warm up." The celestial dragon said as she goes with Ace who is pre-occupied on himself
"Sorry to bother all of you." The dragon bowed
"Just what is happening?" Theo asked
"I don't know but if we want to know then the only place to look is the Gaeen Corp." Bunker said as both of them remembered about the invitation letter
"We must go then…" Theo said
"We have no other choice." Bunker sighed
Both of them looked at each other and nodded
