For three days straight, Wu refused to talk to Garmadon and barely said a word to their father either.

Garmadon was mildly disturbed by his brother's behavior. He was managing to stay calm though. After having been a rage the past few weeks, he was bound to be calmer for a little while. But he still found Wu's silence unnerving.

He continually tried to apologize to Wu, or even speak with him. But Wu refused to listen.

Garmadon eventually got his chance when he found his younger brother in the green space behind the monastery. He took a deep breath and walked over to stand beside his brother.

"Wu," he said gently. "Please don't go."

Wu sighed, but didn't look over. "What is it?" he asked, voice cracking.

Garmadon was struck by the tone and realized then that Wu was crying.

"I just came to apologize." Garmadon spoke softly. "Look, I am sorry for what I did. I acted out of anger and wasn't really in full control of myself. So, please, I am sorry, and forgive me! Please forgive me! I know you're angry, and I don't blame you; you have every right to be mad. I know what I did was wrong, but I don't like you not talking! It feels awkward enough that I'm the one apologizing, not you! So please, accept my apology and forgive me!"

Wu took a deep breath. "I poured my heart and soul into that research," he whispered. "I was working so hard for your sake…all I wanted was to help…"

Garmadon closed his eyes and hung his head. "I know…I understand…and it wasn't my place to do what I did, or to try and discourage you, but it also wasn't really me…"

"I know," Wu whispered. "I know that…and what I said about you, what I called you…I didn't mean it…I am sorry for that…"

"I…I didn't really think you meant it," Garmadon said. "I forgive you…"

Wu finally turned and looked at his brother, tears in his eyes. "And I forgive you," he said in a quiet shaky voice. "And I'm so sorry for how I've been acting; it's unfair to you and Father, and…I have no excuse…I'm sorry…"

Garmadon smiled and began to cry. He grabbed Wu's shoulder and pulled him in for a hug.

Wu tensed at the first touch, but once in his brother's arms, he relaxed. He could feel the love within the embrace, and he knew there was no anger or hatred between the two of them.

"I am really sorry," Wu whispered between sobs.

Garmadon held on tighter. "I know…I forgive you…" he whispered back.

Wu let out a shaky breath and they sank to the ground. "Thank you," he breathed out.
