"You have lived a good long life with your husband and died peacefully in bed. There is another version of your husband who is suffering under horrendous conditions who was falsely accused of being an Archbishop. Who you like a chance to save him?" An Old man wearing noble clothes and with a grey beard.
"Yes." The women said
It has been about month of pure agonizing torture for Subaru. As the Emilia Camp and the Anastasia camp went on and conquered the Pleiades Tower, Subaru was in prison, tortured by Felix and Julius every single day. Felix would fry his nerves bringing him excruciating pain.
Felix's treatment was so brutal that Subaru would compare it to when the great rabbit ate him alive from the inside out.
Felix was bad enough on his own, but when Julius joined in with the torture... it truly became too much for the poor boy to handle. As the mental strain itself threatened to drive him mad at any second, and at this point that would be a merciful thing for Subaru.
His body was badly broken, covered in bruises, scares as his bones felt chipped and weak. Moving alone hurt Subaru, this included breathing, with each breath he was reminded of how Felix and Julius would leave his body alive but only barely.
"The...pain..."
He thought that another day was on the horizon. Another day, another torture session. All waiting for him.
"Why...me?" Subaru choked out desperately trying to get an answer from whatever deity was playing with his fate.
Subaru turned his attention to his cell door
As it had many times, he could hear someone on the other side unlock it
Subaru closed his eyes in fear as the cell door began to open violently, a furious Felix stormed in.
Felix walked up to the trembling Subaru. Stopping as he was right above Subaru
Felix grabbed Subaru's head and shocked it
"Aww, it's rude to sleep when you have guests."
Felix held the arm close to Subaru's head
"Tell Nyah what, tell me the cults plans, and I might spare this arm."
Subaru panting and gritting his teeth couldn't respond
His arm still burned
All Subaru could do was grit his teeth and try to get through the pain
"Still silent? Welp, I tried." Felix said with a dak smile on his face
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Subaru screamed as Felix began to one-by-one fry each of his limbs
Subaru couldn't even comfort himself as each of his limbs became paralyzed
He was forced to lay down being completely helpless to the torture.
Felix, having fried each of Subaru's limbs, looked down at Subaru and healed his injuries preparing to do the torture again.
Felix opened his mouth, but however a sound as if all of the world's wrath had descended on the building roared out in infinite fury and shattered the windows along with the roof of the loot house.
More fearsome than a super volcano calling out its roaring death knell accompanied by lava and flaming ashes to consign all within a thousand miles to a slow agonizing end. More terrifying than watching the ocean pull back far away into the horizon before it comes rushing back all at once in a deafening cascade of water for the death of all hope, dreams and humanity in its path.
On a building close enough to her dearest husband's location, she quickly reaffirms her decision to do this. She was able to bring her weapon to this timeline as well. She unleashed her weapon on the prison and she angled her strike to avoid harming Subaru.
It was like the sun itself had decided that this building and everything behind it had to be undone, a great burst of light and roaring wind had suddenly manifested almost at once after he had been wounded and blinded him to its effects while also strangely sheltering him from its obviously world-shattering power.
He saw a cloaked figure descend down and walked over toward him. The figure was holding sword that seemed familiar to him like he had seen it before.
"What are going to do to me?" Subaru said. The figure stopped and pulled down her hood.
Subaru was absolutely stunned. The figure had long red hair, blue eyes, white royal knight uniform, and she had ornate sword in her hand. She looked like she could be Reinhard's sister. Her eyes shine with care for him.
"My name is Reina van Astrea, I am here to be your hero." The women said.
