Author Note: Continuation to Secret's and Flies that starts Three months after the end of the last one. Love, betrayal, suspense and action are on the menu for this story as we watch our favourite band of Umbrella renegades give it there all to hopefully bring a final end to there hellish lifestyle once and for all. To do that, assistance will be required from some, unconventional characters.
I do not own the characters & this will be very different from any RE movie (to date) and/ or video game plot (to date)
Please read & review as you wish!

- Alice - Three Months Ago -
The moment she cut the mooring ropes to her small watercraft, Alice regretted leaving under such suspicious circumstances. She hated leaving Claire on such bad terms, but with the news Angela just gave her, there was no time to waste. Umbrella needed to be stopped before a new, untainted, life entered this world. It was the least Alice could do. A part of her wished she could have stayed longer to reconcile with Claire, but if she did, she was afraid she would never go. There was no telling if this mission was going to turn from revenge to suicide, which is why it was better this way. Angela would tell the crew tomorrow morning as promised, and give Claire the written note she left, hoping that if she did ever return, Claire would forgive her for breaking her promise.
When Alice had rounds on the ship, she always worked in enough time to venture down to the cargo hold. Inside, beyond her secret stash of a boat and supplies, was an Umbrella issued transmitter. She reconfigured it so it would only receive, not send signals. Two days prior, she heard a transmission from an Umbrella holdout in Moscow Russia. The message was cryptic, referring to something called Project Brutus which, in Alice's mind, could only mean another bio-weapon program.
Alice had an inclining that this was going to be used against the Arcadia in some way, Umbrella's last ditch attempt at destroying the remaining resistance. If that was true, than there was only one thing that would be able to potentially stand up to this beast.
Project Alice.
The last place Alice Abernathy would have pictured herself going to was back into the belly of the beast. A long while back she had vowed to avenge herself, those in Raccoon City, and The Hive by destroying Umbrella and their corporate hold they had upon the world once and for all. Being intimately familiar with their protocols and operations, she needed to approach this tactically. There was no telling what she'd be getting herself into when she reached Moscow without any back up. She was tired of being a victim, her body a pin cushion, and mind a drone of Umbrella. It made Alice sick to her stomach remembering the tests she was put through and the people she was manufactured to kill. If it were truly up to her, Alice would have nothing more to do with Umbrella, but that was impossible when it was their blood that stained every infected she killed.
With this new project underway, and Angela becoming a young, single mother in a few months, Alice needed to retaliate the only way she knew how. She was ashamed of what had to be done, even scared of what might happen, but it was the only way. This was Angela, she needed to survive, and have her child start to rebuild the world and use her compassion and trust in people to become the hope the human race deserved.
She took her trusted sawed off shotguns armed with buck shots of quarters, her two swords that were rusted with blood, a small backpack carrying only the essentials, and the tracking device with the GPS coordinates of the Umbrella facility in Moscow programmed in. She gave Angela a hug, and her final instructions, pulling up the hood of her jacket, and disappearing into the night. Alice hated abandoning the people she now considered her family, but she'd have no family to come back to if she didn't do this.
It would be a couple hours boat trek from The Arcadia's current position to Mexico. From there, Alice would need to find a plane, something durable enough to get her to Europe at the very least. There she would either land to refuel, or find other means of transportation to Moscow. The closer she would get to Russia, the stronger the Umbrella presence would become.
The ocean looked like ink with a full moon behind her, reflecting a stripe of white in the ocean that was rippling with waves. No one was out on the boat deck, and if they were looking out from there windows, Alice would blend with the starless sky and velvet water.
There was no turning back now, the next time she'd step foot on Arcadia's boat deck she'd be Project Alice.
