(Swain - PoV)

After the viewscreen shuts off, I lean back into my seat. Perfect.

I turn towards the various aids along the wall.

"Well? Go. Spread the word, far and wide. Make sure the entire world knows of Demacia's treachery, against us and their own people."

They scramble to obey.

Turning back towards the screen, I activate it once more, preparing to contact the League directly. Time to make sure they will stay out of the game, for the moment at least.

(Darius - PoV)

I lift the mirror, Swain's face resolving.

"Trifarix of Might, all has proceeded as planned. Demacia's treachery has been revealed to the world, and the League has sworn off involvement in our dispute for the time being. You may proceed without interference."

I couldn't restrain my grin if I wanted to. Stuffing the mirror in a pocket, I turn towards the troops.

"MEN! THE DAY HAS FINALLY COME! TO WAR! FOR NOXUS!" I yell, giving the order I have waited for for so long.

"FOR NOXUS!" Thousands of voices cry out!

Within moments the Legions surge forth. Demacia shall fall at last.

(Garen - PoV)

Putting away the mirror, Kat looks over at me and nods.

"We are good," She says with a vicious smile. "The League won't interfere. Darius is leading the main army in behind us to secure everything. Our job is to strike deep. We have free choice of targets. What are you thinking?"

"Anywhere but the marsh." "Anywhere but the marsh."

Lux and I look at each other, having spoken simultaneously, before laughing.

The rest of our little family smiles.

"Seriously though, not the marsh. There are strategic reasons, but mostly...neither of us want to set foot in that place ever again."

Kat nods.

I look at the map. Hrm.

"The Dauntless Vanguard detachment that was withdrawn from Eastwatch, where are they?"

"Eager to see your old unit again?" She points to a spot on the map. "They have been reinforced further, and are currently camped here."

I rub my chin. "I suppose you could say that. Honestly, they are the only real unit of note in the area, nothing else will be able to put up any real resistance, especially against a Champion. We break them, the entire region is ours. Sound like a plan?"

"I certainly like it." Kat agrees. The vicious smile on her face implies so as well.

"Tell Darius then? I'll let the men know and we will break camp. You girls ready to see some action?"

"Whoooo!" Lux cries out.

"Adventure!" Annie joins her.

Morgana nods solemnly.

Sorry sister. Just protect the others, and hopefully the war will be over soon.

(Vessaria Kolminye (Twisted P), League High Summoner - PoV)

"...entire town of Birghtwell wiped out, and it was merely the first reported, we suspect there have been more. It is escalating too fast, this thing has to be stopped, and quickly!"

"Agreed, but we have already lost multiple teams trying to engage it, clearly regular Summoners are not going to cut it. We have to pull out all of the Hunter teams and only send in teams backed by Veteran Summoners."

Everyone grimaces at that.

Not only are Veterans far less common, but the older Summoners get, the more likely they are to build up...quirks. But, needs must...

We are interrupted by a messenger. Please not more demons...

"Councilors. We received official contact from Swain, and a more full report on the Demacia situation. Uh, you may want to read it yourselves?"

I sigh. That doesn't sound like good news. We all take a copy of the report and wave the boy off.

...

"They did what?"

"And what?"

"Why?"

It goes on like that for a while.

Eventually, we all finish.

"So," I say.

"So," they agree.

"They officially violated the treaties so, leave Demacia to hang once more?" I suggest.

"Oh by the gods yes," they agree once more.

"Really, how could anyone possibly be so stupid?" Charles asks. "I just...every bit of this...I don't...I don't understand."

He holds his head in his hands. Normally an action reserved for dealing with our worst Summoners, which really says so much about Demacia's recent choices.

"Something in petricite causing long-term loss of intelligence? I don't know. Whatever, one more situation not our problem, Wooo!" I really don't even care. The loss of mages sucks, and everything they did is terrible and all, but you get used to seeing terrible shit in this job, you have to to stay sane. I am just grateful to not have something else on my plate.

So now we get to go back to dealing with demons, ugh.

"Back on topic, we are in agreement on releasing all the Veteran Combat Summoners and attaching them to the Hunter teams to hunt that fucker murdering towns down right?" I ask.

"Agreed" "Agreed"

"Good, ok. Now then, how about that incident in the bar, did we ever get anywhere on that?"

"Nope." "Not that I've heard."

"Damn. They are still climbing up our ass about it. It should have been impossible, no way for a demon to get in or out of the place, but our scans confirm it was a demon that committed the massacre. The city's elite are still in an unroar, too many of their own killed, including a famed inventor."

Bar of lowlifes get eaten? No big deal, happens all the time! Bar of local notables get killed? Shut down the damn city and call in the army, we want answers! Isn't life great?

"We can move a couple of the regular hunter teams that are getting pulled back into the city instead to keep them calm? The ones that we can't attach veterans to?" Charles suggests.

"That sounds great actually. They won't actually be able to do anything useful but it should get them to shut the fuck up for a while..."

As long as the teams don't get bored and accidentally anything...or anyone.

Maybe this isn't such a good idea.

(Leblanc - PoV)

"Hmmm hmmm hmmm, hmmm hm hm, hmmm hm hm"

I hum to myself as I work. So much going on in the world, so much to keep track of, but this was still the most unexpected and by far my favorite development.

I pause for a moment, adjusting the light to examine it from another angle. Good, good. Just a touch more dark violet here and viola! Perfection. I step away. Now to let it dry, and I will have another masterwork to sell.

It is a large, beautifully rendered, if I do say so myself, painting of Morganna, in her full Angelic form, wings proudly displayed and emphasized, shoving Lux's head between her legs. Poor little Lux, what you can see of her expression and stance makes it clear she is resisting but, unsure if she really dislikes it, her own luminous wings tangled around the Champion's body.

Yes, the Angel porn market is still booming wonderfully, and I am taking full advantage. Once the painting is dry I will spin off a couple dozen copies and auction them all off as the original and make a tidy profit. Honestly, I don't really need the money, but it's the thought that counts.

Hmm. I think I'll let Sivir have the actual original, she has been such a great customer.
