A/N: if you know me then you know that i've written a lot of time travel fics so far but never completed them so here i am today writing another time travel fic & i WILL complete this one. but the thing about this fic is that it will have some very non-canon areas like a lot of things are alternate endings and stuff. to explain it in a better way, harry and ron and hermione, all their adventures are as it is but the whole characteristic of ginny would be changed. i, personally, like fics where ginny is given a bit more attention so basically i'll be adding a bit ocs with ginny's characters as well as some points that aren't mentioned in the books. also, some pairings are changed according to my taste. hope you enjoy!
'Yeah?' growled Harry, his hands deep in his pockets as he watched the snow now falling thickly outside. 'All been talking about me, have you? Well, I'm getting used to it.'
'We wanted to talk to you, Harry,' said Ginny, 'but as you've been hiding ever since we got back-'
'I didn't want anyone to talk to me,' said Harry, who was feeling more and more nettled.
'Well, that was a bit stupid of you,' said Ginny angrily, 'seeing as you don't know anyone but me who's been possessed by You-Know-Who, and I can tell you how it feels.'
Harry remained quite still as the impact of these words hit him. Then he turned on the spot to face her.
'I forgot,' he said.
'Lucky you,' said Ginny coolly.
(pg 462, Christmas on the Closed Ward, Order Of The Phoenix)
.
Ginny slithered out of the room as quietly as possible after telling Harry that he hasn't actually been possessed by You-Know-Who or (what she actually likes to call him inside her head, when she's all alone) Tom. She let Harry, Ron and Hermione have the conversation the three so dearly deserved, after days of Harry not interacting with either of them.
She knew that Harry didn't really mean to forget about her first year or the Chamber of Secrets, it was just that it hadn't been on his mind lately with Voldemort being back and all. But somewhere inside her, she was hurt, even if just a little, she was. Hurt by the fact that she has been just an insignificant someone in Harry's life all these years, someone who is just his best mate's little sister.
She knew that she had to get over her crush on Harry and somewhere she has succeeded in that, but as they say, 'you cannot forget someone who was on your mind so consistently sometime, a few moments ago, a few months ago, a few years ago.' It wasn't her fault that even after a year of dating Michael, she still cared for Harry.
All those years ago, what had happened, had left a lifelong scar on her that would never heal. The things, the memories, the horror she had experienced listening, seeing and living what Tom had done since all those years until he was sixteen was horrid, pure torture, maniacal. She couldn't imagine someone being so venomous as Tom was even as a sixteen year old boy.
She also knew that she is yet to experience more, now that Tom is back, she knows she can't escape him like she did all those years ago. But her mind is not yet ready to accept it, and now that the person who saved her and helped her by not asking the 'how are you', 'are you alright' questions has forgotten.
She doesn't blame Harry, not really. But she feels somewhat unnecessary, insignificant. And she doesn't know what to do about it except letting her expectations of Harry fall, the expectations she had personally made not the ones the world had. She needs to let go of Harry and she will. She knows she can. It's just a question of how.
.
(Skip to the end of the year)
The session has once again come to an end. This time, once again, with Harry and his group of friends falling into trouble. It's like wherever Harry goes, trouble always has a way of finding him. This time, it was the Department of Mysteries, where Harry was sure that Sirius had been taken hostage by Voldemort.
But when the small chunk of the D.A. reached there, it was to find that Harry had been made to think that Voldemort had taken Sirius hostage. They had still fought their way through it and come out alive except one person, Anaïs.
Anaïs, Ginny's French best friend, lost her life at the ripe age of 16. A young life, a person, who was so precious to one of them. She had been working as a very discreet double agent, making Bellatrix believe that she was on their side by using the 'I am a Slytherin' card. But then at the D.O.M, Bellatrix had caught her and Ginny hugging and talking as if they had known each other their whole life (which they kind of have but not the point). As soon as Bellatrix realised that she was being tricked and manipulated by a 15 year old, her rage knew no bounds and she unleashed her full power duelling Anaïs, which resulted in her falling through a veil that connected to the afterworld.
Ginny had taken the blame upon herself, thinking that she was the cause of Anaïs's death because they had been caught together when Ginny had cornered her to ask about herself, wanting reassurities that she wasn't in trouble and wanting to know if anybody had caught wind of her secret. She wasn't ready for such a big loss just at the start of a battle that was going to continue a long time. Anaïs was one of the people who mattered most to her, she was her mentor, her guide, someone she could lay her trust upon, someone who had helped her a great deal to get over Harry, who had been by her side since the start of her first year albeit that she was in a different house and two years older than her but still only a year ahead because her birthday was after 1st September.
Simply put, she was lost without Anaïs, but she also had this new strength, new courage inside her to fight. Fight for her and the betterment of the world so that no one in the future suffers like her and Anaïs had.
.
After getting off the Hogwarts Express, reading the article about He-Who-Must-Be-Named being back and how Harry was now 'the Chosen One,' had been to say the least illuminating.
Now that with the help of Anaïs and Luna, Ginny was over Harry she was finally able to look at him like he was a person, a person like her who had faced so many horrors yet still holds a beacon of hope for a better future. He, like her, was ready to do anything for his loved ones like Hermione or Sirius or Remus or Ron (and by extension the Weasley family). She also had broken it off with Michael when that sodding git had said that girls weren't meant for quidditch and she shouldn't have been so harsh towards Cho during the Gryffindor-Ravenclaw match. Anaïs had even helped her to finally eradicate all the starstruck fascination she had towards Harry and encouraged her to try and be his friend, which she had.
Now, Harry and her were on friendly terms, talking about quidditch or the D.A. and being civil towards each other. She had even been on a few dates with a new guy, Dean, when Anaïs had told her that their interests were similar and he was interested in her. During the dates, she and Dean had stumbled twice upon Harry, each time with a girl on his arm, Jennifer, a Hufflepuff fourth-year. She hadn't felt an ounce of jealousy during each of those times, if she was allowed to date someone so was Harry. He was his own person and now that they were friends, she even felt happy that he was able to look past Voldemort and enjoy his teenage years.
Shaking out of her stupor, she stepped onto the platform to greet her brother, Bill, who has come to get his siblings including Hermione and Harry instead of her mum to take them to Grimmauld Place. So, Sirius can finally act like a proper godfather and raise his godson, Harry once his name got cleared when he was spotted at the D.O.M and was awaiting for his trial to be over. She guessed not everything was fucked up like her life.
Don't get her wrong, she was happy for Sirius, she loved him very dearly especially after when the Weasley family moved into the Order of the Phoenix headquarters and she got incredibly close to him. Owing to her nightmares and Sirius's, they had bonded over cups of cocoa and tea (which they both came to know their choices were very similar in, milk and no sugar), talking about Sirius's baking skills, both of their nightmares, life of a teenager Sirius and a young Sirius, life of the young Ginny Weasley, their shared insecurities and a whole lot more.
What she needed was a break from all this grime and heartbreak, this Voldemort and the fucked up Minsitry, the insecurities and the demons, all of it.
'Ginny!' Bill waved a hand in front of her eyes to catch her attention. He was seriously concerned about his sister after he had heard the encounters that had taken place just a few weeks back. How his little sister lost her first and most faithful friend she had ever made, but he also knew that she was strong and would become even stronger after this. What he was afraid of was her closing herself off.
'Bill,' said Ginny, her voice monotone, as if she knew what her brother was thinking at the time and whatever he was thinking was absolutely shit. She did not need his pity or his concern, she could handle herself.
'Right. You lot are going to Grimmauld Place first to sort through all the ruckus you caused, pack up your shit and arrange it properly. We won't be going back to the Burrow, at least not until after Harry's birthday, so clean up well.' Bill nodded at them, but it felt more like he was giving himself a reassuring nod.
.
They trudged their way up the stairs, heaving their trunks behind them, dragging them as they collided with each step and made a distinctive thump sound.
All of them stopped at the first floor, going down the narrow hallway towards their room. Nobody needed to say it, they all knew that Hermione would be sharing a room with Ginny and Ron with Harry. As Ron and Harry stopped in front of their room, Hermione turned towards them, hugging and kissing each of their cheeks as they whispered in her ear about something which sounded an incredibly lot like 'askginnyifsheisfeelingokaywouldyou.' To that distinctive murmuring, Hermione replied with a nod and then joined Ginny again as they turned away to head to their room till the end of July.
.
Something that came along with living in Grimmauld Place was cleaning it. The place was shut for about thirteen years now and had collected so much grime, dust and shitload of bullshit that it could not be cleaned in a span of just the previous three months. Not to mention, the vastness of the house was so much that it took ages to even clean a single room because it was as if an elephant lived there.
And so, naturally, the task of cleaning the shit was piled upon the youngest in the household. By youngest, I don't mean, only the Hogwarts going children, no. The youngest included 'course Ginny, Hermione, Harry, Ron but also Bill, Fleur, Charlie, Fred, George, Remus, Sirius and Tonks. Now, even though Fred and George had opened their business in Diagon Alley after that rather eventful display at Hogwarts near the end of the year. They were still here because of Bill's engagement.
Mrs Weasley was also, naturally, accompanying them because that woman simply cannot stay still. She needed to keep on doing something, anything constantly so she was watching over them, giving them the right directions when someone did something the incorrect way. And honestly, it was driving Ginny bonkers.
She could not escape her mother's scrutinising gaze. It was like everytime she turned around there was her mother, watching over her, staring at her in pity as if she would break down at any given moment.
So, she was ignoring her mother, concentrating on the task at hand. Everyone was in the same room as it was one of the biggest rooms in the house, even though it was in the attic which was supposed to be narrow and sleek but was the complete opposite of it.
'This house is filled with absolute filth, how the fuck did you live in this house, Sirius?' She could hear Charlie whisper to Sirius beside her. Sirius and her were standing about two metres apart which considering the size of the room wasn't much at all.
'I simply ran over to James's place every time.' Sirius snickered as he told Charlie that. And Ginny cracked her first smile in a month after her death. She remembered the stories Sirius had told her about running off to James's house and then both of them wreaking havoc there which always led Fleamont to shout at them, albeit good naturedly.
She raised her hand to wipe off the dust settled on one of the top shelves by her dust cloth, when Sirius tumbled into her.
When she turned to glare at him, she saw that all of the people in the room had tumbled into each other when Tonks tripped over and fell on Ron, who fell on Fred beside him, who fell on George, who fell on Remus, who fell on Hermione, who fell on Harry, who fell on Charlie and who fell on Sirius beside her, who sent her tumbling, creating a chain reaction. This caused another grin to paste onto her face.
Losing her balance had caused her dust cloth to collide with something on the top shelf, which now came tumbling down onto the floor and cracked into two neat pieces.
.
She looked down onto the floor, to the object that had fallen down. It was shaped like an hourglass but with some liquid in it instead of sand, it looked eerie and shady. The sound of hourglass breaking into two symmetrical pieces had everyone looking towards it, when Hermione suddenly gasped.
'What?' Ginny turned questioning eyes towards Hermione.
'That was a time-turner. I am sure of it. And now it is broken, which means we are either going to go back in the past or in the future with no control over it,' she was shaking her head as she announced it to the whole group.
'How sure are you that it is a time turner, Hermione?' Remus Lupin now turned his questioning gaze towards the bushy-haired witch.
'A hundred percent,' she nodded sagely as she said this, 'you see that little knob on the side, that is to turn the time according to the few seconds that you need it to. But this one has liquid in it instead of sand which means it is even more powerful than a sand one.'
Everyone's face paled at this. They looked at each other, trying to decide what to do when the world spinned out of control.
.
They all landed in a surprisingly steady position in a garden somewhere. Though the garden was beautifully kept, it wasn't exactly filled with greenery. Tonks turned towards the building that was there besides the garden and surprisingly that building was Grimmauld Place.
She turned her questioning eyes towards the people standing around her, as if they knew the answer to why they were all suddenly standing outside the house they were once in. But all of them sighed in relief when they realised that they hadn't gone back in time or in the future.
They all simultaneously turned towards the building to get in there quickly, led by Sirius and Charlie. When they reached the door, Sirius placed his hand on the door knob to open it. But as he turned it, it just rattled and the door didn't open. Surprising.
They heard thundering footsteps coming from inside the house as someone yelled 'I'll open it!'
A jet black-haired boy came into view as the door knob was turned and opened. He had hazel-brown-ish eyes and freckles across his nose and cheeks that were very prominent. He even had horn-rimmed round glasses around his eyes, and simply put, he looked exactly like a reincarnation of a young nine-year old James Fleamont Potter. When he saw who was standing on the other side of the door, he seemed to deflate and his shoulders drooped a little as he said, 'Oh, I thought it was going to be Scorp and Louis.'
Just then, another boy, this time clearly a teenager came into view, he also had jet-black hair but the strange thing about him were his yellow-blue eyes, extremely cat-like. His gaze was penetrating as he surveyed all of them who were standing at the doorway. Then he turned towards the James Potter reincarnation and with exasperation let out a sigh saying, 'James! Your mum has told you a hundred times to check through the peephole before opening the door, someday you'll let all the reporters in too.'
They all whipped their heads frantically towards the nine-year old after hearing that his name was 'James.' Now this boy didn't only look like James but also had his name that was even scarier. Had they come back in time? But if they had, who was this teenage boy here? James was an only child and his parents weren't overly friendly with their cousins because they were all Death Eaters? So, if this boy wasn't James, then who was he?
The boy, 'James' turned towards the teenage boy, letting out another sigh and said, 'Ted, I thought it was Louis and Scorp. I don't know who these guys are.' He said the last part in a whisper as if they wouldn't have heard what he said.
The other boy, 'Ted', turned to look at them now and his cat-like eyes were now blue and purple which was strange as hell because they all remembered looking at him and seeing yellow-blue cat-like eyes not blue-purple. They instinctively looked at each other, confirming that yes the eyes that they had seen were in-fact yellow-blue and not blue-purple.
'You,' 'Ted' was now pointing his finger at Charlie, 'are Charlie Weasley, aren't you?'
Charlie recoiled back, looking side to side, wondering how the hell did this boy know his name. 'I am, yes.' He nodded sagely as he said this, taking pride in his name.
'Ted' nodded back at him and then turned back around towards 'James' asking him to go upstairs and bring back his dad. 'James' scowled at him, tilting his head to look towards him, narrowing his eyes as he pouted, 'You won't tell dad that I was the one who opened the door without checking in the peephole, would you?'
The blue-purple eyed boy sighed, 'I won't. Now go and get him, James.'
'James' nodded and ran towards the stair, bounding two steps at a time, yelling at the same time, 'Dad! Dad! Teddy wants to talk to you, there are some people here, he says.'
'Hold on, James, I am coming.' This voice sounded eerily familiar, but at the same time deeper than what they were used to.
A man bounded down the stairs, wearing his pyjamas with sleep mussed hair as he pulled a t-shirt over his head covering the muscled chest filled with scars all over. He also had jet-black hair but what was more startling were his green almond shaped eyes that appeared when he completed pulling the t-shirt over his head.
When he looked at them, he let out a startled laugh and then put his glasses on that he was carrying in his hands. 'I am pretty sure I am hallucinating and seeing my younger self and everyone else standing in front of me.' He ran a hand through his hair, revealing a very familiar lightning bolt scar on his forehead.
They all let out a startled gasp at the scar. It just couldn't be! Harry was standing beside them right here, how could he be there as well? Also, looking like he was thirty years old? They turned to look at Harry, checking to see if he was still there and hadn't vanished into thin air.
'No you aren't hallucinating, Uncle Harry. They really are here. I can see them too and they can talk.' Teddy turned his eyes to Harry and pointed his finger towards again.
'Oh, well this is certainly a surprise.'
Hermione had been silent for too long and when Ginny turned her eyes to her she could see that she wanted to say something so Ginny nudged her shoulder as if to say 'go on.'
'We are in the future, aren't we?' Hermione had thought about this long and hard. And the only conclusion she could come up with every time was that they had ended up in the future when the time-turner had broken.
'I suppose. But I don't remember ever travelling to the future when I was,' (a/n: older harry would be Harry while the younger would just be Harry, same for the rest of the characters who have their future counterparts) Harry broke off mid-sentence as he looked at his past self, assessing him, 'fifteen years old.'
'Yeah, well, you aren't thick to send us back to our time without obliviating us, Harry. Now, are you?' Ginny retorted, surprised with her new found confidence in front of the Harry-s.
Harry looked at her, smirking, as if he knew something she didn't. And Ginny narrowed her eyes at him in reply. He then turned back towards the group and said, 'Well, now that you lot are here anyway, why don't you move to the kitchen and sit down?' He gestured behind him to an open door behind him that led to a room with a dining table and possibly like Harry had said a kitchen.
'You didn't tell them much, did you?' Harry was crouching in front of James and Teddy as he said this. In lieu of a reply, they both shook their heads.
'Even if they didn't reveal much Harry, we both know that these are your kids.' Sirius gesticulated his hands in the direction of James and Teddy. But before Harry could correct him, Remus jumped forward, 'Well, the older boy called Harry 'uncle' so he can't be Harry's kid.' He looked at Harry confirming that he was right and Harry gave him a small smile in return.
'Well, whatever this is, I for one am very interested in knowing how I am in the future, who I marry and how many kids I have.' This one was Fred, he turned towards George also yelling, 'right, Forge?' To which, George nodded sagely.
'Wouldn't it affect the future though?' Harry had a life he loved, he didn't want it to get away from him. After years of struggle, he was finally happy and he didn't want this happiness to be taken away from him.
'You obviously obliviate us Harry so please please, I want to know as well.' Hermione's eyes were bright, shining as if she wanted something and this could be her only idea to know if she got it or not. Harry turned to look at Remus who had the same glint as Hermione in his eyes as well. And when two of the most intelligent people in this room thought there would be no repercussions then Harry was ready to tell them. But he will obviously give them a whole lot of suspense.
Before he could start telling them though, a thundering of footsteps were clambering down the stairs, jumping as they reached the ground floor. It was a boy again this time, about six or seven years old, who looked ready to jump out of his skin either in anticipation or anxiety or both, none of them knew. He looked like an exact reincarnation of Harry this time. As if someone had recreated him to look like Harry without the lightning bolt scar.
The boy bounded towards Harry, not looking at any of them, it seemed he hadn't noticed that there was anyone else in the room besides Harry. 'Dad, is he here yet? Please tell me he is not here because if he is then I won't come down for breakfast.' His eyes were wide as he asked his 'dad' about a 'he.'
Instead of Harry it was James who replied, 'No, he isn't here yet, Al,' he rolled his eyes in exasperation, 'and honestly I don't understand why you get rosy-cheeked everytime he is here. He is my friend and he will be here more often than not, so don't get so awkward around him because of your flimsy little crush.'
As James completed his little speech, the people from the past turned to look at Ron and Ginny, who blushed as they looked towards their feet. Remembering the time when they had the exact same kind of conversation because of Ginny's crush on Harry.
'James.' Harry admonished his son, giving him a glare for good measure and then as if his mood took an altogether three-sixty, he turned to look at 'Al' with soft eyes, 'he isn't here yet, Al. But even though James's way of saying it was entirely ridiculous, he is his friend and would be here more often than not. So, you don't need to miss breakfast because of him. And your mum's gauded me into making her and your favourite chocolate soufflé for breakfast.' He said this with fond exasperation that can only come with being married for so long.
'Now, all of you kids, rush into the kitchen so I can explain everything to them and then join you all soon. And start with breakfast.' He ushered the three boys inside through the open door and then closed it behind them.
'So, I'm pretty sure that you know two of those boys are mine.' Harry pointed his thumb at the closed kitchen door. 'Now, what do you want to know? Ask away.'
Harry was the first one who stepped forward. 'So I uh,' he coughed, 'have t-two kids?'
Harry smiled in the direction of his younger self. He remembered being fifteen and going on his first date with Jennifer at the start of the year, he dated her till the end of his sixth year but she was still a very good friend of his. At fifteen, he was barely acquainted to the topic of sex but then at sixteen, it was as if his hormones had run rampant and he was eager to do it with Jennifer. She was his first and always will be but that didn't mean he didn't love his wife now. He loved her very much, more than he could imagine.
'Actually, we have three kids,' Harry pointed out, 'And my wife's pregnant but we haven't told anyone yet so I'm pretty sure we have more than three kids.'
Harry paled considerably while Sirius whistled looking at both the Harry-s. Ron, Fred, George, Charlie and Bill were smirking at Harry and the rest of the group were looking ill as if thinking about Harry's sex life was giving them an aneurysm.
'Where's your third child then?' Remus looked around the house, waiting for the child to suddenly appear out of nowhere.
'She is sleeping, her name's Lily and she is four. The two boys were James Sirius who is nine years and Albus Remus who is seven.' Harry looked towards the stairs, 'She is about to wake up soon, if you want to meet her.' He smiled at his parents' friends, who looked misty-eyed after hearing that his children were named after them and Harry's parents.
'Oh, Harry, that is beautiful.' Hermione gushed and Mrs Weasley nodded, looking a bit misty-eyed herself.
'Who was the kid who asked me if I was Charlie Weasley then?' Charlie was looking confused, if Harry said he had three kids and the oldest boy wasn't his then, whose kid was he?
'He uh, his name is Teddy, to be precise, Teddy Jonathan Tonks.' Harry looked uncomfortable about something, but what?
Mrs Weasley turned to look at Tonks who had, like Harry, paled considerably after hearing that she had a kid of her own. But why was his surname Tonks and not his father's?
'I have a child, me?' Tonks stepped forward towards Harry but tripped on thin air. She was sprawled on the floor when she again said, 'see I can't even keep myself upright and I have a child? And even if I do, why is his surname the same as mine and not his father's?'
'Yes, he is your child,Tonks. As to why he never took his father's surname, well, your boyfriend uh didn't want a child in the middle of the war or anytime else so he refused to believe that the child was his. And then you uh married Charlie but didn't want your son to take on a surname that wasn't his real one so he goes by Tonks.'
'I married Charlie?!'
'Tonks and I, get married?!'
Charlie and Tonks shouted in unison, looked at each other, narrowed their eyes at each other and then started laughing. Mrs Weasley looked even more misty-eyed than before, hearing that Charlie had gotten married when she never thought that would happen and would simply be married to his career and his dragons. And she even had a grandson! Although, indirectly, he was her grandson and will always be.
'Eet eez truly exceptional. Getting to know about our future.' Fleur was smiling at Charlie and Tonks who were now embracing each other, falling into easy conversation. They had always been close, when they were at Hogwarts or after that too. Both of them couldn't have picked a better partner to spend their life with.
Harry smiled at Fleur when he noticed what she had said. 'Well then I think you would find it truly exceptional to know that you and Bill do get married even after all the hassle of Voldemort. And you both have three kids as well.'
Bill looked at Harry when he said his name, smiling and putting his arm around Fleur when he said that they both get married but then he blushed when Harry announced that he had three kids of his own. 'We do?' Bill mumbled in Harry's general direction.
'Yes. And I think that you were supposed to come around this morning as well, with your youngest, Louis.' Harry was looking at the watch overhead Bill's head on the opposite side of the wall, checking to see about Bill's and Louis's arrival.
Molly was listening very attentively to what Harry was saying, she wanted to know all about her grandchildren, and so far she had found out that she had four, at least two of them boys. 'Harry, would you please tell me how many grandchildren I have and how they are.'
'Surely, Molly. Oh I'm sorry, Mrs Weasley.' Harry nervously rubbed his hand on his neck when he realised his mistake.
'It's alright dear, you can call me Molly. I would love that.' Mrs Weasley shrugged her hand at Harry, grinning at him very wide.
Harry looked in the direction of a younger Ginny Weasley who was staring between him and her mum, frowning., assessing something. But when Harry caught her eye, she smiled at him warmly, approving.
'Well, that would take a lot of time but we can continue this conversation in the kitchen if you like. And I can make breakfast for you all as well, I'm sure you all are hungry.' Harry gestured to the kitchen door, opening it so that they all could rush in.
'Starving, mate.' Ron groaned, patting his stomach and then let out a hiss when Hermione slapped his arm muttering about manners and etiquettes.
All of them rushed inside the warm and homely kitchen, looking around themselves at the beautifully renovated Grimmauld Place. They couldn't believe their eyes when they saw that right beside the counter, cleaning the utensils was Kreacher. Kreacher, who hated them and would always mutter filth about them, who helped Bellatrix Lestrange misguide them and lead them to the Ministry to save Sirius when he wasn't even there, who hated serving Sirius. That same Kreacher was standing in the Potter household's kitchen, cleaning utensils.
'Yeah, he started working for me when during the war, Hermione, Ron and I helped him and forgave him for his stupidity.' Harry smiled at Ron and Hermione as he said this, making them smile right back at him.
'Dad! Dad! Teddy says his mum is here, but that can't be, can it? Because you told us that she had died during the Battle of Hogwarts.' Albus was looking inquisitively at a now frozen and rigid Harry.
'What?!' Harry flinched as he heard Charlie and Sirius yell out.
'It's true, she is here, Al. She accidentally time-travelled along with the younger selves of us.' Harry explained to his son and then turned to the people from the past who were now staring wide-eyed at Teddy and Tonks. 'Tonks along with Charlie died at the Battle of Hogwarts, that is true. And Tonks announced me as the godfather so I was the next of kin to take care of him, so he alternates between staying here and Andromeda's.' His tone was sombre, not wanting to live through the pain and guilt he felt at that time again.
'Oh.' It was Tonks, who mumbled this out. She then took one look at Teddy and then rushed forward to envelope him in a hug, rivalling one of Molly Weasley's. They held each other for a long time, whispering and muttering, making up for lost time.
'C-charlie died?' Molly's voice was as faint as a whisper and she looked ready to faint as well. But before she could, Ginny came over to support her.
'Mum, I know it is unsettling but we have a lot of time with Charlie right now and the future obviously looks exceptional. We don't forget Charlie but we live, remembering him in our happy memories forever, etching him in those memories.' Ginny smiled at everyone around her, most of whom looked back at her and smiled back.
'Yes! Now Gred and I are going to sit and watch as mum smothers Charlie to death herself.'
'George!' Molly whipped her head in George's direction, ready to admonish him.
'Ok, ok! Calm down! You wanted to know more about your grandkids, didn't you? I can tell you while I prepare everything for the chocolate soufflé.' Harry rolls his eyes at the mention of the dessert, his wife couldn't help but ask for breakfast.
'Yes! Yes!' Molly was back to her eager self, wanting to know about her grandkids.
'Well, like I told you, Bill has three kids. Two girls and one boy, they are Victoire Ginevra, Dominique Gabrielle and Louis William. Victoire was the first Weasley kid after Teddy, she is currently twelve. Teddy is in Hufflepuff and Victoire's in Ravenclaw. The first Weasley to go to another house except Gryffindor in generations. Dominique is eleven and she is in Gryffindor. And she is Bill's daughter in every sense of the way, wanting to be a curse breaker and all her dreams or goals. But, thankfully, Fleur doesn't want an eleven year old becoming a curse breaker.' Harry chuckled at the end of the introductory speech looking at the past arrivals, out of which Ginny's smile was blinding when she heard her first niece was named after her, Fleur and Molly were looking at each other nodding, Bill looked incredibly proud with both his daughters and the Weasley twins looked ready to burst out of their skin.
'Last is Louis, who is currently nine, the same as James. They both go to this magical school for the kids before the age of eleven, it was newly established after the final battle and on Hermione's insistence that the children who don't go to Hogwarts should get their education somehow,' Harry paused in between to look at Hermione who blushed and looked down, 'they both are the worst troublemakers of this generation, literally. And they have another best friend who is Scorpius Malfoy.'
'MALFOY?!'
'HARRY, WHAT THE FUCK'
'YOUR CHILD IS BEST FRIENDS WITH A MALFOY?!'
The huge chaos couldn't be controlled until a shrill whistle from a new arrival had been heard which caused the chaos to disassemble. The new arrival looked to be about four years old which means she was Harry's daughter, Lily. She could whistle? Anyways, the little girl had dark red hair with green almond shaped eyes and freckles dotting her whole-self. She looked a lot like Lily Evans, when she was younger, seeing it from all those childhood albums she had saved. Her face was as red as a tomato due to the shrill whistle that she let out and the ready to burst anger she was surely keeping under wraps.
'Mummy is sleeping.' She put one hand on her hip and put one of her fingers on her lips indicating everyone to stay silent. 'And Scorpius is very nice, he plays with me when he comes over and makes funny jokes.' She nodded sagely as she said this.
All the people from the past couldn't help but coo at her cuteness, she looked absolutely adorable in her little pigtails and wearing a tank top with cotton shorts. They watched as she waddled over to Harry, Albus and James. She climbed onto Harry's lap and then leaned over to try and whisper into Albus's ear, emphasis on the try, 'Don't worry Albie, I didn't tell them about how you go red when Scorp is around.' She nodded at him and then got comfortable in her dad's lap.
'Lily-bug,' Harry chuckled as he looked into a reflection of his own eyes or rather his mother's eyes, passed down to the third generation, 'how much did you hear?'
'Well, I only heard a little bit, Daddy. And they all were saying how James being friends with Scorp is bad, but he is so nice Daddy. He always brings chocolate frogs for me and plays with me even when James refuses too. Also, he always smiles at Albie when he goes red and offers him chocolate frogs as well. And he is always going red looking at Albie when Albie is not looking.'
Albus let out a gasp as he heard the last sentence and then jumped in front of Lily, 'He does?! He does?!' He looks at his dad, 'I thought he didn't like me and only offered me chocolate frogs out of pity, Daddy.'
The 1995 people were looking at the three Potters having an amiable conversation with each other, mentioning a Malfoy in the same light. This had to mean that in the future, they are able to make up and let go of their prejudiced feelings against each other. Living with unity after Voldemort.
Sirius stepped forward and said, 'Well, if Miss Lily doesn't have a problem with this Scorpius then I guess he is a good man after all.' He smiled at Lily, who looked back at him with twinkling eyes before leaping forward and grabbing him by the collar yelling out 'Padfoot!'
Sirius stumbled back as he caught the little girl around her waist, chuckling at her enthusiasm. 'When did you get here, Padfoot? I was waiting for you since last night, you said you'd be coming but then you didn't. And said you would come today morning and look! You are here.' Lily breathed in a little after her enthusiastic monologue.
'I am alive?' Sirius whispered to Harry, 'I was sure I was going to meet my end when the second battle was over but.'
Harry smiled at Sirius, 'Yes you told me. And Remus and I yelled at you for hours for even talking like that. And then when James was born, you were at St. Mungos with Remus, waiting for him to be born. Then when they asked what the name of the baby would be, my wife said James Sirius even though we had previously decided on Adrian James. I got out of the room, holding him and announced to you, Remus, Ron, Hermione and Mrs Weasley what his name was and you, Sirius, literally fainted. Minutes later, when you woke up, you whispered that you had just found another reason to live on except for me, my family and Remus.'
Sirius's eyes were filled with tears by the end of Harry's anecdote. Looking at the rest of the clan, you won't find their eyes much different, all of them emotional after what Harry had recounted.
'Anyway, we were talking about your children, Bill and Fleur,' Harry wiped the tears that had gathered near his eyes and continued, 'Victoire looks very much like Fleur, having inherited most of the Veela genes. She has bright blue eyes, the same as Fleur and blonde hair with red streaks, both of your genes, and she has a very very strong personality and Fleur's family always say that she could defeat Fleur in any argument even French ones because she is twice as strong.'
Fleur grinned wide at that, she had always wanted a kid who was headstrong not just physically but mentally as well. And it looks like she got the wish she had so dearly wished for.
'Then there is Dominique, like I said, she is Bill's daughter in every essence of the way. She has long and curly bright red hair with a very very pale complexion and a lot of freckles. She is a keeper on the quidditch team, not on Hogwarts team though yet, but she was taught by Bill and Ron who were both on the Hogwarts quidditch team, and she plays very well so hopefully she'll get on next year.' Harry paused to take a breath.
'Then there is Louis, more Veela than either of his sisters, he is shy and insecure but can be really charming and is very talkative. Unlike both of you, he has brown hair, inherited from his maternal grandfather, and blue eyes like Bill's and Fleur's. He is a troublemaker but is so sweet that he can get out of any situation. He is very close with his aunt Ginny and they both are planning to wreak havoc all the time, even more so than James. AND, he has a huge crush on this boy named Harry, very awkward I know, and he is dead set on marrying him even though they are both nine years old.'
Bill couldn't believe how mischievous his son was, a troublemaker, a little charmer, conspiring with Ginny all the time (which should be illegal!) and flaunting that he would get married even though he was nine. Ginny let out a boisterous laugh when she saw the look on Bill's face, one of utter horror, and Bill's horrified face melted into one of satisfaction when he realised that he had made his sister laugh after so many months.
'Now, you already know Charlie's. So, then there is Percy,' Harry noticed how all the people from the past tensed after hearing Percy's name, 'I know you are all angry at Percy right now, but believe me when I say that goes through his redemption. And he saved Fred's life during the battle, saved him from dying in the last moment, that isn't to say that Fred was in his debt for a lifetime but you all just realised that he still loved his family. And he confessed to being blinded by his ambition to become someone big to make you proud but ended up hurting you. Weasleys and the rest of us, all, had a long drawn conversation with him. He also ended up finding a muggle girl to marry, her name is Audrey, and frankly speaking she is one of the most amazing muggles I've ever met not that I have a great experience with muggles, what with my aunt and uncle. But she is really great, very patient with Arthur when he is asking all kinds of questions about aeroplane or electricity, infinitely great with her children, can give Percy a good kick in the balls if he is being a git, has a very great relationship with all her sister-in-laws, Ginny, Hermione.'
Molly was tearing up after hearing about Percy and his wife. He will always be her child and one of the greatest loves of her life, she couldn't differentiate between her children, she loved them all equally, even when Bill was adamant on becoming a curse breaker, or Charlie was too stubborn on helping and raising dragons, or Percy was so deeply invested in creating a name for himself in the ministry and left them, or Fred and George who had inherited her streak for mischievousness and caused a ruckus all the time, or Ron who loved everything she ever made for him since he was a kid and befriended Harry putting him in the middle of troubles, or Ginny who she so deeply wished for and was dead set on trying to make her the perfect girl but she ended up being interested in quidditch and curse breaking and dragons and mischief due to her brothers and who was such a difficult child to raise from the start with her constant accidental magic and being very powerful and having this sudden feeling of despair and then happiness. She loves them and she cherishes them forever!
'Anyways, he has two children with Audrey, one boy and one girl, Mary Hermione is ten,' Harry paused to let the child's namesakes (a/n: just to be clear the name molly is derived from the name mary or margaret so the child is indirectly named after molly) gasp and have a feel of someone being named after them, 'and Charles Eric is six. They both aren't in any houses yet obviously but both the parents and their aunt and uncle feel like they both would be in Hufflepuff. Mary goes to the same school as James, Julia Yupanqui school for the magical juveniles. And Charles is going to start the same one this year from September.' Harry shifted in his seat as if about to announce something uncomfortable.
'Audrey, she uh, has another child from a previous relationship. Her name is Freya and she is twelve, apparently Freya's father was a squib and he was incredibly envious of his own child because she is magical. And, so he abandoned her. Then, she met Percy due to Freya and the rest is history.' He glanced at all of them, checking to see if one of them looked disgusted about Freya being a child from someone else but instead he saw a look of utter empathy towards both Freya and Audrey, 'Honestly, all of Percy's kids are angels. Freya, especially so, started calling Percy dad very recently like when she got sorted into Gryffindor. And they both have a close relationship, Percy is a surprisingly good dad and he lets his children do his own sorting and stuffing. And also surprisingly, all three are great at quidditch, not as good as some of the kids but great in their own way.'
'Did any of them inherit Percy's obsession with the bottom of cauldrons?' George smirked at Harry when he snorted.
'Yes, actually, Mary is obsessed with cauldrons and potions and herbs and cooking, she says she wants to open an apothecary in Diagon Alley when she is of age.'
George and Fred mock gasped after hearing about Mary's obsession with cauldrons. Molly rolled her eyes at them but the mistiness in her eyes didn't disappear for even a single second. Ginny grinned at him and Hermione started whispering into her ear. Ron looked gobsmacked still, with the fact that Percy came back.
.
Their attention diverted to the floo when it burst to life and a tall, lanky figure with red hair and scars all over his face stepped out of it with a young child who was brunette and had blue eyes that changed its colours according to the light, very bright when he stepped out of the floo and very dark when he stepped through the kitchen door.
'James!' the young boy yelled as he ran towards where James was sitting with Teddy, eating fruit quidditch cereal for breakfast. James looked at him and yelled out a quite enthusiastic 'Lou' in his direction but then returned to his breakfast. The others watched as Louis understood his meaning and grabbed a bowl and milk to eat fruit quidditch himself.
People from 1995 now understood that the tall, lanky figure was none other than Bill Weasley who had come here with his son as promised.
Bill glanced at the group of people who surrounded the dining room and then raised his eyebrow at Harry when he realised who they were. Harry let out a jovial chuckle and said, 'Look who the cat dragged in.' Bill laughed despite himself and then settled down beside Harry asking him to recount all that had really happened which Harry did.
The people from the past looked as the closeness between Bill and Harry was obvious. These two weren't even near to this close with each other right now, but in the future they looked comfortable with each other's presence and Harry wondered what had really gone through.
After Harry had recounted to Bill about what had happened and Bill took his leave saying that he had to be somewhere and promising not to tell anyone yet so that they could come and see it themselves, he turned his attention back to the group that had gathered, and continued.
'I believe we were done with Percy's kids as well and were now onto Fred and George's?' Harry raised his eyebrows when Bill wanted to say something, obviously trying to ask about himself.
'Why do I have so many scars on my face, Harry?' He looked sombre, accepting but still surprised.
Well, Harry hadn't envisioned for Bill to ask that question. 'Y-you uh, how to put this, so during my sixth year there was an attack at Hogwarts by Death Eaters and the Order arrived there, naturally. You were on the fourth floor corridor, I think? When you saw Ginny being ambushed by four to five men, while Ginny was able to fight off three of them, two were still left and one of them was Fenrir Greyback. So, in order to save Ginny, from that heathen you tried fending it off of her, he scratched your face a lot in the process, but then he tried biting you to turn you and you went all pliant as if ready for him to take you out. But then Ginny managed to fend off the second attacker and helped you by um, killing Fenrir through a very very strong stupefy. She then took you to the hospital wing where after we managed to curb the attack came to, Ginny was in a trance when she described everything that happened and Molly was horrified, she looked at your scars, turned to Fleur and said that she could now leave Bill and find some other handsome man if she wanted to, and then Fleur said that she loved you for more than your looks and she couldn't love anyone else even if she wanted to. That was the first time Hermione and Molly loved Fleur. Molly even gave her a Weasley hug.'
Bill looked aghast and quite surprised with the fact that Fleur had agreed to marry her even after all his scars. Molly and Fleur looked close to bursting into tears and embraced each other for a few seconds. Ginny kept whispering 'I killed someone at 15' over and over again. Hermione, Remus and Tonks's eyes were wide and misty. Sirius clambered over to Ginny, giving her a tight hug and whispering something. Harry looked guilty as if he was the cause of all of the pain.
Harry walked towards his past self and whispered, 'I know how you feel but believe me when I say this wasn't your fault, this would have happened either way. Voldemort would have attacked the wizarding world and destroyed it, irrespective of whether you were born or not. So, don't centre this around yourself and don't feel guilty. What has happened, has happened and it wasn't you who did it.'
Harry walked back to his previous seat and sat down, pulling Lily onto his lap, 'Moving on, we have Fred and George. Now, I can't speak about them separately when they were born together now, can I? So, Fred and George thought that it would be really funny to name their first born girls or boys after each other, but then Fred fell in love with a man. George has two kids, a boy and a girl, and Fred had a single one, adopted, a girl. Before you ask, George's wife is Angelina Johnson.' Harry paused to let the twins mull over this information.
Fred gasped in indignation, pointing a finger at George, 'You bloody well stole my girlfriend there, mate.'
'I think she finally realised who the better twin was, brother of mine. And you fell in love with a man, Freddie, always knew there was atleast one gay bone in that body.' George tried to flick his hair over his ear and Fred snorted but quickly regained his indignant composure.
'Still.' Fred paused dramatically on the single word making Ginny and Sirius let out a snort behind him.
'All in good time, brother, all in good time.' George grinned at Fred.
'If you are both done?' Harry looked amused as he asked Fred and George this, to which they both replied with a nod. 'Fred's husband is Leandro Quinn, who is a muggleborn Ravenclaw, three years older than Fred and Charlie's friend during his Hogwarts years.' Charlie looked at Fred as he processed this information, looking petrified while he was snorting in his hand.
'George's first kid, his son's name is Freddie Lee and his second, his daughter's name is Ornella Evra. Freddie is nine and Ornella is eight. Surprisingly, even though the kid is named after one of the Weasley twins and their best friend, he doesn't cause mischief at all. He is very well-mannered and polite, doesn't even look like George, with his dark black hair and dark brown skin, both inherited from Angelina. He does have your eyes though, George. On the other hand, Ornella is very mischievous, her first name was after an Italian singer that Angelina loved as a child and her second name, that is, Evra, is short for her aunt Ginny's name. George thought it would rile Ginny up to no end so he named her Evra but surprisingly Ginny was rather emotional about it.' Harry muttered something inaudible under his breath that went unheard by the rest of the lot.
'Then, there is Fred's daughter, they adopted her when she was about three months, whose name is Georgina Denise, a long name that, but apparently because of Fred's pact with George, Leandro decided to kick in with his own. Keeping the second name of their daughter from his brother's name, Denis Quinn. Fred thinks it was the funniest shit they had done and Molly thinks it's the most irresponsible one. But it is what it is.'
Molly glared at Fred and George while they snickered into their hands.
'Last up from the Weasley boys is Ron of course. So, Ron, how would you like to know your own future?' Harry smirked in Ron's direction who had gone green and red simultaneously, thinking about his kids and wife and future. Harry opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, there was a shout from upstairs.
.
'Harry James Potter, get your arse up here right now! Your bloody Potter kids always make my morning sickness the absolute worst.' The voice groaned and stopped then there were footsteps running into the washroom and the sound of toilet flushing reached their ears.
Harry's ears were red as he looked at all the past arrivals, out of which, eight were openly laughing and five were trying to control their laughter, making their faces go very red.
'I'll just look at what's that about? Yeah? Till then you all can clamber over to the drawing room, sit down and relax. Take the kids with you.' Harry pointed his thumb towards the stairs indicating that he was going upstairs while his kids led them all to the drawing room.
.
(Forty-five minutes later)
Harry entered the drawing room, telling the people to gather around, and return to the kitchen where apparently the Weasleys, Sirius, Remus and Hermione had arrived. And Harry had explained everything to them.
'I haven't told them about my wife and I expecting again, so just keep that under the wraps would you?' They all nodded as they looked at the new arrivals sitting there, staring as calmly as possible.
Harry clapped his hands, announcing, 'Okay everyone, quit staring these are your past selves remember that. And I have told them about Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George. I was about to tell them about Ron now.' He smirked at Ron, who was going rapidly green looking at his past self.
The past arrivals stared at the new crowd with a look of awe and confusion. There were about 32 people in the room now, excluding them, all of various shapes and sizes. Their eyes first moved towards the group of kids gathered in the corner, they could recognise James, Albus, Lily, Louis and Teddy in the mix. There was a blonde girl who looked about how Harry had described Victoire to be and another girl with curly red hair who didn't look much younger than Victoire, so she must be Dominique.
Then there was a girl with orange-red hair and glasses on her tiny face who looked as if she was Mary and there was a boy by her side with the same orange-red hair looking not much younger, so he must be Charles. Another girl was conversing with Victoire, who had very distinct features, not of any of the Weasley's beside the very orange hair, so she must be Freya. They turned their head to survey Audrey who was smiling at them, knowing that they were looking for matching features between her and her children. Audrey had auburn hair with grey eyes that adorned her heart shaped face, she looked a lot like an older Freya.
On the side stood, one girl and one boy, they didn't look much apart and had the same features of dark black hair and dark brown skin with bright blue eyes, so these must be George's kids, Freddie and Ornella. With them stood another girl who looked about eight years old but again had very distinct features, icy blue eyes with brown hair and dark-ish brown skin, she must be Georgina, Fred's daughter. They glanced at Leandro looking at him, seeing if he had any similar features to his adopted daughter. Leandro was sitting beside Fred, arm around his shoulder looking at Ron, smirking. He also had brown hair like his daughter but his skin was very pale, paler than the Weasley's.
Lastly, there was another boy and girl, the girl had bushy red hair and the boy had very light brown hair. The girl they guessed was Hermione's and the boy was maybe Ginny's due to the fact that their facial features matched. But if the kids were Hermione's and Ginny's, where were Ron's kids? And who did Hermione and Ginny marry? Did they both have only one kid each?
They had even glanced at the blonde haired boy who was surrounded by James, Louis, Lily and Albus. He had green eyes and was strikingly identical to Draco Malfoy, so they had assumed he was Scorpius. And decided not to comment on it.
.
They finally turned their attention back to Harry who was bantering with Ron over something.
But as soon as Harry saw that they were looking at him, he turned his attention to them and started again, 'Well, now that you have assessed everyone in the room. And must have surely placed your guesses on who was who. We can finally talk about Ron here,' He gestured to a gaping Ron, 'I am pretty sure everyone but Ron and his wife know who he ends up with, because he can be quite thick and so can be his wife, so I'm giving you all three guesses.'
Molly knew instantly after looking at the bushy red-haired child whose daughter she was and after Harry had given them the option to guess, she couldn't stop herself and immediately blurted out, 'Hermione.'
Harry looked at her abruptly as did both the Ron-s and Hermione-s, three of them impressed with her sharp wit. Harry smiled at her and then shook his head in Ron and Hermione's direction who had both turned red, 'You are spot on, Molly. These two are so thick, they didn't realise they liked each other until our seventh year but then when they did realise, they wouldn't stop snogging. It was a nightmare for young me.'
Ron and Hermione turned even red at what Harry said whereas Hermione swatted Ron's arm when he lunged at Harry, trying to shut his mouth. While, younger Harry looked green in the face, shuddering at the thought of witnessing his friends snog all over the place.
'Well, I'd let Ron tell you about his kids himself.'
Ron looked at Harry, scowling. Then he blushed and turned to look at all the other people gathered there. 'Hi uh! I have no clue how to say this but apparently Hermione and I have two kids um we have a daughter and a son, um. Our d-daughter's name is Rose Minerva, she is uh, seven years old, the same as Albus. She is probably going to be in Ravenclaw as she is more skilled at um chess than me and she is a critical thinker. Then there is Hugo Arthur, um they both are just there sitting with Albus, Lily and the lot. Hugo is uh five. We think he is going to be a Gryffindor but uh who knows? And, yeah, that's about it.' Ron let out a huge exhale after he was finished.
Harry and Hermione laughed at the stricken look on Ron's face and Harry said, 'Ron I will never understand why you look so uncomfortable talking about your own kids.'
Bill stepped forward after hearing about Ron's kids. 'Wait, that boy with brown hair is your kid, Ron? But then where are Ginny's?'
'Why? I'd never taken you for the one who would like to see his dear sister knocked up, big brother.' Ginny was smirking at the younger version of her brother who was about the same age as her right now, which was quite unbelievable really. Her smirk grew more in size when she saw the blush rising on the cheeks of all the younger selves of her brothers and her mother.
'Ginny, don't tease your brother. Who are your kids then? Wait, who are you even married to? Is he nice, do we know him?' Molly was close to jumping out of her skin, looking at her youngest.
Ginny smiled at her mum's past self. 'Well-' Before she could complete her sentence, there was a loud bang from the corner of the room where the kids sat and then there was a yelp and a shout as they saw James run towards Sirius. He was shouting at his god-grandfather (?), 'Did you like it, Grandpa Siri?'
'Loved it, James.' Sirius laughed leaning more into Remus's side. 'But I don't think your mum'll appreciate it all that much.'
Harry looked at the scene with a lot of fondness and adoration. 'Did I mention that Sirius and Remus finally tell us that they have been dating since they were fifteen? And Remus thought that Sirius betrayed him too by betraying my parents and went to Azkaban?'
'WHAT?!'
'FUCKING FINALLY!'
'LANGUAGE, GINEVRA!'
There was a bustle of noise and Harry, Ginny and Molly shouted at the top of their lungs. Sirius and Remus abruptly turned their head towards past selves. And then their head lowered as they looked at their shoes and blushed.
'I knew it! The amount of times Remus and Sirius have snuck off to snog by giving the excuse of "taking a walk as our animagi." Sirius I think you forgot but only you are an animagus and not Remus.' Ginny turned towards the past selves of Sirius and Remus, taking a long exhale as she finished her speech.
Both the Sirius-s and Remus-s blushed as they looked at Ginny, who was smirking smugly, uncovering the mystery. Harry looked petrified for a second before he jumped and hugged Sirius and Remus. Molly was still glaring at Ginny.
'Dad, I swear it wasn't me.' James then turned to Harry's ears as he whispered, 'Tell mum I didn't do it.'
'So, Ginny, you were telling us about your husband.' Sirius smirked at Ginny, who was apparently glaring at Harry and Sirius.
'Tell her yourself, I am not getting in between you and your mum, she won't hex you but she sure as hell would hex me.' Harry stared at James's brown eyes similar to his wife's.
'As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, you-' Ginny was again cut off in between as James let out a yell.
'I swear I didn't do it, mum.'
'Oh yeah? Then who was the one running to Sirius, shouting "did you like it, grandpa"?' Ginny glared at James as he blanched.
Hermione gasped as the meaning of everything clicked in her mind, the way Lily and James look….the way Ginny is so comfortable with Harry….the way Ginny looks like she has recently been sick…..and now James looking at Ginny with a glint in his eyes that only Ginny possessed out of all the Weasleys. Each of the past arrivals looked at Hermione as she gasped, but they couldn't understand what she had gasped at. Hermione looked at them imploringly, Ginny and Harry can be more thick than her and Ron, she swears to Merlin.
'B-but it was Albus's idea, I swear.' James pointed at a pale-faced Albus.
'Hey! Don't put it on me. It was all him, mum.' Albus looked at Ginny with puppy-dog eyes and how could she not let it melt her?
'Wait a minute, y-you and H-Harry?' Ron pointed a shaky finger between Ginny and Harry, finally catching up.
Behind him, Molly, Ginny, Harry, Sirius, Remus, Charlie, Bill, Fred, George gasped. Hermione nodded sagely, and Tonks and Fleur grinned wide. 'No way,' Harry and Ginny simultaneously and then blushed. Molly squealed, Fred and George were making an exchange of galleons, and Sirius was letting out whoop-s yelling that he knew it!
'You and Harry have three kids?' Bill whisper-yelled and out of the corner of his eyes saw Harry gulping.
'No Bill, they have more than three kids, didn't you hear what Harry said earlier?' Sirius smirked.
'WHAT?!'
'WHAT DO THEY MEAN MORE THAN THREE KIDS?!'
'JAMES, ALBUS, LILY. WHO ELSE?!'
Harry stuttered and glared at Sirius as he tried to think about what to say. 'I forgot to mention that um Ginny and I were um expecting again?' He looked at the various horrified faces of his family members, Ron for instance looked absolutely scandalised.
'Ginny, how old are you?' Bill looked at Ginny
'30.'
'When was James born?'
'28th July 2002' Ginny scowled at Bill, wondering where he was going with this.
'But that means you were 20 when he was,' Bill cut off, blushing.
'I was.' Ginny nodded determinedly.
'B-but you were so young.' Bill argued back.
'Well, you would be glad to know that I was 16 when we-' Before Ginny could complete her sentence, Molly yelled out, 'OKAY! WE DO NOT WANT THAT INFORMATION GINNY. LOOK AT YOUR BROTHERS, THEY LOOK SCANDALISED.'
And behold the site that was in the room, all the sister-in-laws, Fred and George, Sirius and Remus were hugging Ginny congratulating her and Harry, and Fred and George, yelling out, 'We will have more pranksters', Ginny's glare not deterring them. The rest of the family members looked incredibly green thinking about Ginny having another kid.
'I cannot think about my best mate and sister without thinking about vomiting simultaneously.' Ron shuddered.
'Well then Ronald, you will also be very glad to know that you have caught us shagging about three times already.' Ginny didn't know why she was saying all these things but she'll blame it on the pregnancy hormones.
Both Ron-s blanched even more than before as both Molly-s yelled out another 'Ginny!' Harry's eyes looked ready to pop out of his skull while the rest of them looked green and about to vomit.
'Wait, you never told us what Lily's middle name was.' Ginny pointed out as she glanced towards her daughter.
'Anaïs. Her full name is Lily Anaïs Potter.' Ginny smiled at her past-self, cherishing the surprised look on her face. 'She is a lot like Anaïs, the way she acts, even the way she speaks, her slang. But maybe I am just partial.'
Ginny looked very close to crying, her daughter was named after one of the most important people in her life. Anaïs's legacy would continue.
