Just a short little fanfic I decided to write. I might do an extended version in the future.

"Road trip! Come on, come on!" Peter marched around, clanging a spoon and pot together, waking every up. "Road trip! Come on, pack up!"

Meg groaned as she stepped out of her room. "What time is it?"

"Pack up time, come on, train leaves in twenty!" Peter said as he continued to clang the spoon and pot together, marching around the house.

Brian and Stewie walked out of the bedroom. Stewie had already been prepared since he had his backpack on. "I'm glad I was prepared. I knew something like this was going to happen."

Everyone walked out to the car to load up. "Peter, did you remember to put gas in the car," Lois asked, while struggling to shove everything in.

"Oh, ho-ho-ho, Lois. Of course," Peter said, while tying some luggage down on the roof. "Alright, cause last time we broke down, we were stranded at the grand canyon for five hours. In scourging heat!" Lois said.

"That was one time, Lois, and I've learned my lesson after that," Peter said. Once everyone was in the family was off. Their road trip had begun.

It was pretty boring for the first couple of hours. All the family did while driving was just talk about work and school. If that wasn't enough, something tragic would go along with it.

"And there was the time where you got your hand stuck in the vending machine in tenth grade," Lois said. "And the time where..." She stopped as she heard something stutter before the car came to a complete stop.

"Ah, crap, out of gas!" Peter said. "Peter, you said you filled up yesterday," Lois said.

"Maybe I didn't," Peter said. Lois sighed and got out. She went to the back and kicked the bumper and screamed. "Son of a bitch!"

She stepped back inside and folded her arms. "Great, just, great!" She said. Peter tried to calm her down. "Now, now, Lois, it's not that bad."

"Bad?! We're stuck in the middle of nowhere with no gas, and... You know what, everyone get out and start pushing!"

"But..." Peter whimpered. "Now!" Lois screamed. Everyone besides Lois got out and began to push.

About ten minutes later, they stopped to take a break, and that's when Chris noticed.

"Hey, dad, look a motel," he said. Peter looked up at the sign. "Bates Motel. Vacancy. 24 hour service. Huh."

They all got back to pushing their car and pushed it right next to the sign and gasped. There a motel stood. A typical one story place with a house across the street that looked abandoned.

"Maybe we can get some service here," Brian said to Peter. The group then all walked to the office where they would meet the man himself.

Peter, Chris, and Brian walked inside and looked around. Nobody was there. All there was, was a counter. And on the counter was a bell with a card next to it that read, "Ring Bell for Service."

Peter dinged it and waited. He dinged it again, and the door in the back opened, and out stepped the man. Norman Bates.

"Sorry to keep you all waiting," he said, "welcome to the Bates Motel." He twiddled his thumbs as he was hunched over the counter, staring at Peter. "Uh, yeah, listen we were on a road trip and our car ran out of gas, do you have a phone we can use?"

Norman nodded. "Yeah, but it doesn't work."

"Aw, man. Well can we at least stay here until we can get to a phone?" Peter said.

Norman nodded. "You may, who am I checking in under?"

"Peter Griffin," Peter said, as he pulled out his wallet.

Norman typed on his computer. Brian was already getting creepy vibes, so he decided to go wait outside. "Hey, while you're doing this, I'm gonna talk to Lois."

"And how many people, and how long will you be staying here, sir," Norman asked.

"Six, and will just be staying the night," Peter responded. Norman typed on the computer. "Ok, looks like that's gonna be, fifty bucks." Peter slid the money over, and Norman handed him a key. "Your room number is lucky number one. Enjoy your stay."

Peter took the key and left, Meg and Chris followed. Outside Stewie, Brian, and Lois walked up to Peter who was standing outside the hotel room.

"So, did you call a tow truck?" Lois asked.

Peter shook his head. "The guy said the phone doesn't work." He took the key and placed it in the hole and opened the door to their room. It was very nice. Everybody walked in. Lois laid down on the bed and took a breather, while still trying to calm down.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the room, except Brian. He knew something was up, something about Norman didn't seem right. He felt like something bad was going to happen. So he kept to himself and didn't say a word.

Later in the evening it began to rain. Stewie and Brian sat at a table near the window and played a game of Monopoly.

"Ha! Pay up, Bri," Stewie said holding his hand out waiting for Brian to put some money in it. Brian sighed as he handed Stewie a wad of cash. He then got up to grab a drink. He walked over to the ice chest that the family brought in and grabbed a beer.

"Hey, toss me one, too, would ya!" Chris called.

"What a beer? Are you nuts?" Brian said.

"No. I would like a Dew," Chris said, holding his arm up to catch the drink. Brian reached in the chest and tossed a Dew at Chris, then went back to the table to finish the game.

Later that night, everyone was asleep, but Lois. She wide awake due to Peter snoring and taking all the blankets. So she got up and walked off to the office.

Of course nobody was in there. "Hello?" She called. No answer. Nothing but the sound of the lights buzzing, and the rain pouring outside. A few bolts of lightning flashed too. As Lois was going to leave, she heard a voice.

"Hello, how can I help you?" The voice said. Lois turned around to the handsome, charming man standing at the desk. "Yeah, I was wondering if I could get some extra blankets," Lois said.

The man nodded and went in the back and came out with two blankets and handed them to Lois. "Thank you, umm..." she said. The man chuckled. "Norman... Norman Bates."

"Well, thank you, Norman," Lois said. She turned to walk away before being stopped.

"Wait, do you mind if I got you a snack?" Norman asked. Lois turned back around. "I guess. I mean I didn't really eat dinner." Norman nodded as he constructed her to follow him. The two walked to the lounge. Norman sat Lois down, then walked off to fetch her something.

Back at the room, Brian was asleep on the foot of the bed until Meg kicked accidentally kicked him off. He got up and walked to the window and noticed a light coming from a house across the street. This made him suspicious. He decided to take a closer look and check it out.

The dog stepped outside and stared across the street at the house. All the lights were off, except one that shined from the right window. As Brian was about to head back inside, he heard this.

"No! I tell you No! I won't have you bringing strange young girls in for supper! By candlelight, I suppose, in the cheap, erotic fashion of young men with cheap, erotic minds!" An elderly woman's voice said.

"Mother, please," Norman sighed.

"And then what after supper, music? whispers?" The elderly woman said.

"Mother, she's just a stranger, she has a family. All she wants is a few blankets and something to eat," Norman said.

"Mother, she's just a stranger. As if men don't desire strangers, as if... Oh, I refuse to speak speak of disgusting things because they disgust me! Do you understand boy! Go on, go tell her she'll not be appeasing her ugly appetite with my food, or my son! Or do I have tell her because you don't have the guts! Huh, boy? You have the guts, boy?" The elderly woman said.

"SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" Norman yelled. He walked out of the house with a tray of food. Brian, after hearing this made him even more suspicious. He knew he heard that line from somewhere.

Back with Lois. She stared around the lounge and noticed a few bird statues hanging on the walls, and sitting above a mantle. This made her a little uncomfortable and nervous. Norman walked back in with the tray of food.

"Sorry if the foods a little soggy," he said.

"It's not a problem," said Lois, as she began to eat some of the cold food, as Norman kept his eyes locked on her.

"I hope you like it. It's my family's secret recipe."

"So how long have you ran this place for?" Lois asked.

"About twenty years. I and my mother run it," replied Norman with a smile.

"So what else do you do?" Lois asked.

Norman twiddled his thumbs while thinking and said. "Well I run the office, and tend the cabins and grounds, and do a little errands for my mother."

Lois nodded. "And do you go out with friends at all?"

"Well, a boys best friend is mother," Norman replied.

Lois nodded and went back to eating. "I forgot to ask, uh, where are you and your family headed to?"

Lois stared up at him confused, and Norman cleared his throat. "Sorry, I didn't mean to pry."

Lois went back to eating. "We're just going on a road trip."

"Anywhere, fun?" He asked. Lois shook her head. "No, why?"

Norman shrugged. "I don't know, I was just asking out of curiosity. Usually when families go on a road trip they always go somewhere."

"You don't know my husband. He can be stupid at times. The last surprise trip he took us on, we went to Gator World, and he almost got his hand bit off," Lois said.

Norman shook his head. "Hm. Well... I do hope you enjoyed the food. You look a little tired."

Lois sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I had such an exhausting day." She got up. "Thanks again for the food, Norman." She walked off back to her room. Before falling asleep she decided to take a warm shower.

Lois walked into the bathroom, and turned on the water, and stepped in. She began to soap up. But was unaware of what was going to happen to her.

Outside in the bedroom, a silhouette figure stood watching the Griffin family sleep. The figure then made it's way into the bathroom where Lois was showering.

As Lois was about to wash her hair, the figure threw the curtains back. Lois turned and screamed as the figure pulled out a knife and jabbed it at her. She tried to stop him, but it was no use.

The figure fled, leaving Lois to fall to the ground. The thud woke up Brian. He walked into the bathroom and gasped. "Lois? Lois!" He said. Brian ran up to Peter. "Peter! Peter, get up!"

Peter sat up. "What is it, Brian?"

"It's Lois. Come on!" He instructed. Peter got up and walked to the bathroom where he nearly collapsed from shock. Lois laid on the ground facedown on the bathroom floor.

"Lois? Lois, can you hear me?" Peter said. Brian held up her arm. "She's dead." Hearing this made Peter cry and scream. Suddenly a knock was heard at the door. Brian got up and answered it.

There Norman stood with a worried look on his face. "What's going on? I heard screaming, is everything ok?" Peter walked up and hugged him while crying. "Lois's dead." Norman pushed Peter aside as he stared into the bathroom and gasped, covering his mouth.

"Why mother?" He whispered to himself. He walked into the bathroom where he wrapped Lois in the shower curtain. He then picked her up and carried her outside. Brian followed.

"What are you doing?" He asked Norman with a small growl.

"I'm waiting for paramedics to get here," Norman replied. Peter walked out and Brian walked up to him.

"Peter, do you really know who he is! He is Norman Bates. Serial killer who was convicted of killing his mother, and her lover. As well as Marion Crane, and Detective Arbogast," Brian told his owner.

"Didn't he also kill a girl named Lila?" Peter said.

"I tried," Norman convinced.

"Well now you're going back to where you belong!" Brian said. He pulled out his phone to call the police, but Norman jumped onto of him with his hands around the dog's neck.

"Peter... Help!" He choked.

"Hey, get off of my buddy," Peter said. He ran over and tackled Norman off of Brian. Peter had him pinned to the ground. Norman struggled, and tried to push Peter off, but it was no use. "Caught again!" Norman said defeated. A couple of minutes later Joe and his gang arrived to take Bates into custody.

"Well, well, Norman Bates. Back at it again I see," Joe said. "You're never gonna learn."

Norman sighed as he was placed in the back of the cop car. Joe turned to Peter. "Sorry to hear about Lois."

"Its fine. At least I still have other family," Peter said.

"And good friends," Joe added.

"That too!"

Joe smiled as he wheeled off as another cop hoped in the car. Norman looked out the window and smiled creepily at Peter and mouthed, "I'll be back." Before being driven away.
