We return to the ship as we begin to explain what happened. Of course, we're happy for Cedric too. Now we have three Divine Knights at our side… still… I'm happy but… also confused… what is Liam planning? There are things he mentions. Rean is the key as Vita said. Not to mention he and the Steel Maiden the Great Twilight. Plus not to mention he had Master and Roselia assist with Prince Cedric's Rivalry. Ugh, my head hurts because Master and Liam are acquainted! Well the bright side to all this we did learn something new. Liam's motions are unclear but he is altering something from behind the scenes. Then we got Millium back and Valimar able to speak again.
"Say, mind if we be your watchdogs?" Ash asked as he and Venti approached
"Ash, Venti?" Rean responded.
"Actually, we'll be your watchdogs now. We'll keep a tight leash on you, so you better get it together."
Juna frowned. "You can tell he's actually enjoying this."
"Did you have to say it like that?" Venti sighed. "We're just going to monitor him. Don't make it sound like he's being chained like the dog you describe him."
"Oh boy...okay, Ash, Venti. I'll be counting on you two." Rean said.
"With that, let us prepare to set off once more." Laura added.
"Right. Say, Levi. Want to join me in the requests?" Rean asked.
"Sure." I answered.
Aside from Ash and Venti who are going to monitor him. Sara and Laura join us. And then we begin to do a few quests. We begin to head to Osgiliath Basin. And deal with the Cryptid. It's an Elephant like one. We begin to challenge it and then we manage to defeat such a mighty monster. It drop a rare Quart as I pick it up. I was surprised.
"Wait… this is a Lost Art!" I exclaimed
"Yeah. We gain a few of them from our last counter with them from various places." Rean nodded.
After that. We begin to head towards Lamare Highway to deal with the monster. Once we arrive using my magic. We begin to look around and then found the monster. Ugh. What an ugly one. It's a squid like one. We begin to fight it and it's powerful, no doubt. But we pull through. We begin to head into Alster next. Then we begin to talk to Mirio and there was Paul, Valerie and Gustaf. Mirio told us that he needs vital parts. A pressure Valve, Cooling coil, and Large Pump Gear. So we headed back to the Merkabah and got the Pressure Valve. Then went to Eryn Village for the Cooling Coil. And the Large Pump Gear from Dwight from Parm. And the team of engineers came together to fix it and boom. We're done.

Now we begin to head to Raquel. We went to Hermit Bar and Inn to meet this client of ours. We look to the Inns doors and then knock on each one and then Rean found her and we all enter. Ooh. I remember her.
"Excuse me. You're Kaela, right?" Rean asked. "I believe you made a request to find your friend?"
"Yes, that's right." Kaela nodded. " Am I right in thinking that you are a group taking on my request in place of the guild, then?"
"Essentially, yes"
"Well, some of us are bracers." Sara replied.
"I remember you." I cross my arm. "You're that rude woman who got the guts to threaten me and my students."
"And you were that gentleman who had the guts to give me a threat." She remarked.
"I was doing my job to protect my students. While you ask too many questions."
"I take it you're sticking to that backstory this time, too?" Ash asked
"And there he goes." Venti sweatdrop
"Rather rude of you to call it a 'backstory' but… That aside, as I'm requesting assistance, I'll be showing you at least a certain degree of sincerity." Kaela replied. "It may not seem so, but I'm quite impressed with the Ashen Chevalier- Mr. Schwarser- and his schoolmates. Even if the same can't be said about you half-wit."
"Choose your words more carefully." I give her a glare. "I don't appreciate you antagonizing my students."
"Now now, Levi. I'll take it from here." Rean said to me to calm me down. Honestly, this woman knows how to piss me off. "Anyway, you seem to know a lot about me already."
"Heheh… in any case, we all have a lot going on." She replied. "But there is something I want to say. Regarding this request, I have no ill will towards the Empire or yourselves. So I would be delighted to receive your help."
"Circumstances has brought us together, so of course, we'd be happy to help."
"Thank you."
"So, something about looking for your friend who got to Erebonia ahead of you?" Ash asked.
"If I had to guess. I say that you requested our help to find this friend of yours." Venti Guessed.
"Yes. His name is Cody. He's 18 years old." Kaela nodded. "He's a blond-haired young man who has a Remiferian passport, like myself. By the way, I did put a mission persons ad in the Imperial Chronicle. That's how I received some reports that he was in Raquel."
"I see. That's good thinking." Rean said.
"But this is as much as I can do. The reason being that my goal for chasing him down isn't to just find him, but rather to apprehend him. If I go around asking for information on his whereabouts, it's very likely that he'll find out. That's why I wanted to be more subtle and have someone he doesn't know track him down."
"Makes sense to me."
"Ugh… So much for this just being a missing person request." Ash wrap his arms behind his back.
"So he's a criminal that escape to the Empire?" Venti asked
"Not exactly…" Kaela replied. "I'm fully aware that this is a very unreasonable request. As such, I won't force you to take it, but…"
"It's fine. We've accepted the reuqest, so we're going to see it through." Rean said. "Anyway, do you know what clothes Cody is wearing?"
"I do. According to the latest information… I believe he's wearing a blue top and dark beige pants."
So a blonde hair boy with blue top and a dark beige pants… okay. i got to remember we need to be careful. Sounds like this Cody will be on high alert We need to thread this carefully.
"This might be easier then I thought." Ash replied.
"Well, our target will probably be on high alert. If we want to find where he's hiding, we're going to have to threat carefully." Rean pointed out
"Indeed. For the time being, if you catch sight of the target, please contact me before doing anything else. Then we can discussed what steps to take next." Kaela said.
"Understood."
"All right, let's get to it." Ash said.
"Roger that." Venti nodded
"If we charge in headfirst without any info, we'll just stand out. Let's start by asking the people around the station square."
"But we have to be careful on who through. We don't know if he will be nearby."
So we begin to head to the station square. We begin to ask some guy about Cody. Then he told us that he went to the Ikaros Mart. So we begin to head to the Ikaros Mart and ask the guy in the counter and then the guy us that he bought food a lot. Then head to the pawn shop. We head to the pawnshop next and then talk to that old guy again. So he told us that he was after a rifle size ammunition not found here in the Empire but in Calvard.
"Heh. Right on the money." Ash smirked. "Some blond 18 year old…. it'd be funny if it turn out to be that guy we saw before, right?"
"Ah, that guy." Venti replied.
Ooh… I know who they meant. That young soldier from the Hercules. After we got that. We begin to walk out and then discuss what to do next. However… I sense a presence somewhere in the streets. Keeping an eye on us.
'Dammit! He notice us. He's going to make a break for it!' Rean whisper.
'Then we can't wait any longer.' Venti said.
'Let's pin this bastard down!' Ash nodded. 'He's got that Calvardian battle orbment, RAMDA, right?'
'That means he will give us an easier time to slip pass us. If we hurry and find a shorter path. We can have a better chance to catch up to him' Venti pointed out.
'Yeah. Let's hurry.' I nodded
Then we begin to ran towards the streets he was in and then take the shortcut and then we manage to catch up to him. Ad he's heading towards Languedoc Canyon Road. Once we arrived. He already got away. He's fast. But we begin to hurry and ran fast as we can and then we head to where we fought that lighting Crypit with Sara.
"Looks like he must have hide here." Venti said.
"This road's been sealed off by the government forces." Rean nodded.
"Heh. So it's pretty much a ideal hiding place, then." Ash said. "I can definitely sense people ahead. So this has gotta be it."
"Yeah. And luckily for us, it seems our target thinks he manage to lose us along the way. Let's see if we can get any closer while we wait for Kaela."

We begin to quietly eavesdrop on Cody and see members of the Hercules Squad. But something was off with them.
'Does something seems a little… off about him to you guys?' Ash whisper as he ask
'Yeah. Something feels off about this. And with them.' I whisper.
'Yeah. I can sense something dark with them and how they speak too.' Venti nodded
'I still find it hard to believe Hercules squad could infiltrate Erebonia so easily.'
'Yes, exactly.'Kaela said as she whisper as she arrived.
And then we learn from Kaela that she they are the Hercules 5th Squad, which they still operating inside the Empire since the Summer Festival. They were supposed to be captured and somehow escape. The Emperor getting shot somehow made it easy for them to escape. Wait… that captain guy suddenly draw his blade towards Cody and his fellow comrades draw their guns too! Have they lost their mind?!
We soon charge in and then once they spotted us as Kaela shout to stop. And then that guy Cody call her sis. Wait. That's her brother?! And then suddenly the captain called their airship and they begin to ran off. I sense a dark miasma from him and the others… could he be affected by the miasma from the dark dragon? Or the curse… Well she thank us and we begin to- hold on. I sense a familiar presence nearby. As everyone walk away. I turn around and then caught Lechter and some other guy. I let out a sigh but gave him one final glare and then walk away.

As I was looking into Levi with my magic and looked like he saw Lechter. He gave him one final glare before he leave.
"Well Damn. Even from this distance. Levi is able to sense me. But for Rean. I should expect it. Levi gave me one nasty stare through."

After we've done with Kaela's request. We got a call from Towa to head back. After we got a call from Towa. We returned to the ship to rejoin with our friends and allies.
"Hey everyone! Welcome back!" Millium cheered
"We just got worrying news that a former noble became the Interim supervisor of Saint-Arkh a few weeks ago." Towa said.
"Who is it?" I asked.
The monitor switched on to show a familiar face.
"You have GOT to be kidding." Juna said.
"I was worried what the Imperial Defense Force's administration in Marquis Hyarm' absence might lead to…" Kurt muttered
"You were right to worry… Meet the new interim supervisor of Saint-Arkh." Rean sighed.
"Marquis Wilhelm Ballad." Musse reminded, "Uncle of the former Late Duke Cayenne...my granduncle."
"Guess that greedy, old mongrel got his hands back in the henhouse, huh?" Ash asked.
"Remember, he is still a member of the nobility." Altina said. "Though I am inclined to agree, for the most part."
Jusis sighed. "Selling out to the government to further his own prestige again, is he? As if that buffoon hadn't caused enough damage in Ordis."
"Hm, I could've sworn they'd kept him under house arrest after that whole debacle at the Imperial Provincial Council." Angelica said.
"I'm guessing the government decided to let him go." Millium replied
"Yeah." Towa nodded. "Apparently, he arrived from Heimdallr with two guests in tow. One of them, a member of Thors, and the other...a member of the Imperial Family."
"I see… then I have an idea who they are. And I didn't use my search magic this time. It must be Tita, and Princess Alfin." I replied.
"Alfin…" Cedric sadden
"Princess Alfin I understand but your hunch about Tita is correct?" Venti asked
"I think so, yes. Even though there are some students we haven't encountered yet. I had a feeling that it's Tita. I can use my search magic and confirm it if you like."
"No need. I believe you."
"It's almost identical to what happened in Ordis, play for play." Machias said.
"In any case, that's all the information we currently have." Rean added. "We'll have to sneak our way into Saint-Arkh, the capital of Sutherland province."
"Then the four of us will be coming with you." Juna said. "Me, Kurt, Allie and Venti!"
"Agreed." Altina nodded. "We've already been to Saint-Arkh twice now."
"Plus, I spent most of my childhood in Sutherland… I'd like to see for myself how things have change."
"Not only that. But there are people we are familiar with. We can ask them for information." Venti nodded.
"Well, in that case, I might as well come with." Elliot volunteered. "Dreknor Fortress isn't too far from town. I might be able to find out more about my dad, and the 4th Armored Division."
"I feel like me and Sara should tag along, too." Fie added. "The guild has a temporary branch there. Might end up useful."
Sara nodded. "Agreed, but we can't both go. We've got bracers operating all over. One of us needs to stay back and be a liaison."
"I see your point." Rean replied. "We can decide for sure when the mission starts."
"Team's looking pretty solid." Crow smirked. "Now to get crackin' on how we're pulling this thing off."
"Would it not be simplest to teleport in from the witches's village and infiltrate from there?" Duvalie asked
"Actually... We can't use that route right now." Emma said.
"There's something strange going on with the teleportation stones in South Isthmia. Probably a disturbance in the spirit veins, if I had to guess." Celine said. "Levi, you can teleport the group there, right?"
"I can yes. My own teleportation technique or magic can work well. But that's up to you guys to decide that." I answered.
"I vote we use Levi's magic to teleport us there."
"Okay, if we're in agreement. Then I'll just teleport us there." I nodded
Rean nodded. "Then it settled. But before we do. Let us gather enough information before we begin. And considering the sun is setting, let's call it a day and get ready for tomorrow's mission."
Dateline, August 23rd.
After preparing the next day, we were ready to begin the next mission. We agreed I will teleport us there and use my concealment magic as well. However, the question is how do we get to Tita and Alfin. Not to mention where the others will land.
"As far as we know, there are no underground pathways in Saint-Arkh." I said. "I could use concealment magic again and sneak pass the entrance like in Ordis, but the problem is that there are guards and a gate blocking the Marquis mansion. Trying to force our way in where those scum Imperial Defense Force are guarding would be too reckless. I could also teleport into the Marquis mansion while using concealment magic. But it would be too easy, wouldn't it?"
"Yeah, it would be." Rean said.
"Then in that case, our best bet just might be Marquis Ballad himself." Angelica said. "Even after the Imperial Provincial Council, he's still a capable person in his own way. There's no doubt about that. He's a downright genius...when it comes to protecting his assests and profits, that is. But in the end, his short-term greed ended in a long-term stint as the government's personal stooge."
"A disgrace to the nobility." Cedric cross his arms.
"As well as that whole fiasco in Ordis." Jusis added.
Duvalie hummed. "I suppose taking advantage of him wasn't exactly a challenge."
Crow chuckled. "So in short, he's fussy yet sloppy, like a big ol' baby."
"Right." Angelica nodded. "One we'll have ample chances to take advantage of."
"Thanks, Angelica. I get the feeling this'll come into play." Rean said.
"We'll find a solution, one way or another." Kurt replied
"Okay, Levi. It's up to you know." Gaius said. We'll use the Ex-camp sight to hide Valimar and the Soldots."
"Got it." I nodded
Rean chose to have the new Class VII, along with Elliot, Sara, and myself, and soon enough, Begin to teleport my team to the entrance of the Isthmia Great Forest.

"Looks like we made it to the forest entrance." Venti said.
"Yeah. No one is around as well." Elliot nodded
"Gaius and the others will be hidden by the landing spot from landing spot at your old campsite." Sara added "They'll be well hidden.
"Now that that's settled, let's get going to Saint-Arkh." Rean said.
"On it." I nodded
We begin to walk the path that leads the way to Saint-Arkh. However, when we got close, we noticed that the entrance was guarded by IDF soldiers. I use concealment magic on us and then we walk pass the guard. Soon we enter the city.

"Phew, looks like we were able to pull it off without them noticing." Elliot said.
"Your magic is amazing as always Levi." Juna cheered
"Now that we've made it through, we should proceed with our objective." Altina said.
"Right, now that we're inside, let's gather some info and confirm this town's situation." I reminded.
"Right, let's be careful around here." Rean said. "Marquis Ballad's influence on this area is obvious."
We explored the town to find any leads. We started with the Cathedral Sqaure where we found a trio of performers who were discussing about Sully which sparked up a conversation between us and them. They were touring around Lamare, but had to make a detour to Saint-Arkh cause Marquis Ballad requested them. We wished them well when they left and this gave Elliot an idea, but he wanted to be sure before telling us.
We then headed to the noble district and from a distance is the entrance gate to the mansion.
"Marquis Hyarm's mansion is ahead. You couldn't get in before, right?" Rean asked
"That's right. And with the Imperial Defence Force still around, it'll likely be difficult to get close this time as well." Kurt answered
"But there must be a way inside somehow." Altina sighed
"How DARE you!? Just who do you think I am?!"
And from the shout we just heard. We can see the Marquis accompanied by two Provincials soldiers but by the gate are the IDF soldiers.
"And it seems Marquis is planning going somewhere." I said quietly.
But he was then brought back into the mansion by the Imperial Defence Force.
"N-No! Unhand me! How long must I live in the confines of boredooooooom?!"
"Never mind. Look like he won't be leaving after all."
"Yes, and the Imperial Defence Force is treating him callously, despite his supposed role as interim supervisor." Kurt nodded
"I think I'm starting to get the real picture." Rean said. "About how Saint-Arkh, Marquis Ballad, and the Imperial Defense Force function together."
Elliot nodded. "Right, if we can just get past that, then..."
We then moved to the residential district, heading inside the April Cafe where a woman was sitting by the counter. Now that we got a closer look. She looks very familiar.
"Hey, isn't she…?" Juna look at her
"Yes. I believe that is Elliot older sister." Altina nodded
"Good to see you again, Fiona." I called out to her.
She got up and turned to see us. "You guys!"
"Haha. Hey, sis. It's been a while." Elliot said. "Actually, it's been forever since we've been able to get in touch. It's good to see you're all right."
"Elliot?! Is that you, Elliot?!" Fiona responded. "It's really you, I can't believe it! And who's that with the gray hair?"
"Good to see you, Fiona." Rean replied. "Let's just say...a lot has happened."

We then grabbed a table for all of us to sit around to discuss the situation.
"The hand of destiny strikes again." Sara said. "I mean, we've been friends since back then she helped me out during my time at the capital branch."
"Now that I think about it, we've known each other for quite some time" Fiona replied
"Machias, Levi, and I have met with her several times since the civil war." Rean added. "The fact that it only took a single train ride to reach the capital made it easy to meet up. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to see her since I left for the branch campus, though."
"As for me. I haven't seen her for a while since I was training with my master." I smiled
"We've all been so busy, there's been no time for niceties. But I'm glad to see you're all well." Fiona replied. "Class VII went missing, and then before I knew it, the three of you were caught up in the chaos."
"It's a relief to see you again." Elliot said. "I'm sorry I made you worry."
"It's fine, really. All that matters is that you and Class VII are okay. Now if only I knew what was going on with Father and Neithardt."
"General Craig, who commands the 4th Armored Division, and Lieutenant Colonel Neithardt, who was in the same class as my brother. Thinking back, you did say something about trying to go to Dreknor Fortress, didn't you?" Kurt asked.
"It sounds like searching for Elliot isn't the only reason you came to Saint-Arkh." Rean said
"That's right." Fiona replied. "In truth, I haven't been able to get in contact with Father or Neithardt for some time. Inspections in the area around the fortress have gotten very strict, and I haven't been able to make it through to check on them."
"Even with war on the horizon, it IS a bit concerning for them to go totally incommunicado." Elliot sadden.
"Hm. I think the answer lies in why security has been strengthened so much around the fortress right now." Rean said.
Juna nodded. "Yeah. Maybe it has some connection with what's been going on at the mansion."
"Hm? What do you mean?" Fiona asked
"As a matter of fact..." Rean said
We then shared what we saw outside the mansion.
"I can't believe it."
"Fiona, do you have any more info that might be useful for us?" Elliot asked.
"I certainly did gather a lot of information while trying to find out about you." Fiona answered. "But I'm sorry to say this is the first I've heard so much as a whisper of what you just told me."
"Then we'll have to keep finding out and get more details." I said. "We need to find a way into the mansion after all."
"That in itself is conspicuous."Rean nodded. "It's not the sort of thing they'd broadcast, but it being THAT secret doesn't sit right with me."
"There must be a reason why. I just have no idea what." Kurt stated
"The clock's ticking, people! Let's just get moving and see what we can find out." Juna added
"Fiona, I'll see you soon. Take care of yourself." Elliot smiled.
"Of course, take care of yourselves." Fiona replied. "Let me know if there's anything I can do to help."
We then left the cafe and confirmed what we found out.
"All right, we've got an idea what's going on around town." Kurt said.
"Yeah. Ballad isn't acting independently after all." Rean nodded.
"He's merely a figurehead. It's the IDF that has real power here." Altina stated
"They're calling all the shots, and no one can even hold them responsible for what they're doing. Almost makes me feel sorry for Ballad." Juna trailed off.
"The IDF really are despicable as HE is." I muttered.
"Yeah. How very dark things has become." Venti sighed
"So how can we get into the mansion?"
"About that...I have an idea." Elliot said.
"Really? Let's hear it." Juna responded.
"Hah. Well, I can't guarantee it'll work, can we talk about it in private?"
"There's the temporary guild office in the Residential District. Why don't we go there." Sara suggested.
"Yeah, good call." Rean nodded.
We made our way to the apartments and upstairs before going into the room. But I heard a horse neigh and I went to check it out. And then it seems members of the Nine club with one of their horses. We decided to help out. As we begin to walk far. We begin to find their Club Nine horse. I tried to approach it. But something was very off with it. And it gallop away. We continue to find it and then we eventually found an abandoned Goliath. Altina begin to look into the system and then remove the bug and now she has her own Soldat. Resuming on finding the horse. We found the broken gate that has a horse mane. We follow it and then found the horse eating the Black Pleroma Grass. And it change into a monster. We fought it. And then I begin to use my power and Elliot with his music. And then the horse was back to normal and I communicate with it. Such a good boy. And then we return the horse to Club Nine.
And resume to the head to the temporary guild office. The place was empty and when we were in, I closed the door and heard about Elliot's plan. It involved getting Marquis Ballad to let us in so we could do a performance, it would be something the IDF would turn a blind eye to. But if a music performance was our way in, then I and Altina had to get involved. That was when Fiona turned up, willing to help us put up a concert that will get Ballad's attention.

With the plan in place, we made our way to Cathedral Square and get the Archbishop's permission, Elliot and Fiona had set up their instruments with me and Altina on the vocals. The performance began and I got ready to sing with Altina. As we sing the song and draw the audience. It begin to take three minutes. And then, the performance ended and we had gathered a large crowd that started cheering and applauding.
"Thank you for watching, everybody, maybe we'll see you all again soon." I said to the crowd. "Phew, I haven't sung like that for a long time."
"Somehow... we made it through without issues." Altina added as she looks embarrassed
"You feeling okay Altina?" I asked
"I'm fine. Just a bit surprised is all. I had no idea what to expect of the end results, when I was instructed to sing without any prior warning."
"Ah, I understand what you mean."
"Haha... Sorry to put you on the spot." Elliot said. "But I had faith that you could do it."
"Yeah! You were amazing, Allie! And Levi you're just as amazing as Allie!" Juna praised.
"You seem to have plenty of experience." Kurt added. "And Altina, you held your own rather well for having three professionals besides you."
"That's right. Great work Altina. You really made the most of the principal's lesson." Rean smiled
"Thank you. Though I think I owe it to more than just her." Altina replied
"You've grown so much, too, Elliot." Fiona smiled "I knew pursuing the path of music would be the perfect choice for you."
"Oh, well, thanks. But I've still got a lot to learn." Elliot replied
"Pardon the interruption."
Then two guards in red uniforms came up to us.
"We come bearing a message from our lord. That performance you gave was most impressive." One of them said.
"There is something we would like to request of you." The other guard replied "Would you be kindly as to perform in from of our lord?"
"Your lord?" I asked. "Why it's a huge honor."
I look at my friends and then we nodded.
"We would be delighted too." Elliot smiled
"Excellent. Please, follow us." One of the guard said.

We were then escorted away from the square and over to the mansion through the back door so that the IDF didn't notice. We were now inside the mansion, and we followed the guards taking a left turn and into a large room where the Ballad man himself was looking through the window.
"Pardon the intrusion, my lord." One of the guards said. "We have brought them over as you requested."
"Ah, at long last!" Ballad replied. "So you're those musicians everyone's been talking about..."
He then turned to face us and he gasped as the two guards left the room. Altina called for her black doll and Elliot cast a dome around the room.
"Audio insulation field activated." Altina said. "Though our mission was impromptu, it appears to have succeeded nonetheless."
"Hehe, great." Elliot added. "And now that we've made sure no one can hear you..."
"We're just gonna have ourselves a nice long chat, shall we?" Ash finished.
"Woah, hey!" Juna intervened. "You're making us sound like the bad guys here!"
Fiona giggled. "Now now, Elliot. Tone it down a bit."
They're more fired up than I am...
Ballad then saw Rean. "Wait a moment. Your hair is different, but there's no doubt, you're the Ashen Chevalier! And is that Mildine?!"
"Nice to see you again, Marquis Ballad." Rean replied.
Ballad moved to his chair and sat down in defeat. "Hmph. I've fallen completely into your trap. I'm losing my touch. Since the downfall of the Imperial Provincial Council, it's been a downhill slope. Damn it all! Was this all part of your scheme, Mildine?!"
"Hmph. I foresaw the fate of the Imperial Provincial Council and the timing." Musse replied. "But the rest was all the result of your foolish actions, dear Great Uncle."
"Urgh...To think a distant grandniece would return just like that...and now what's to say she won't raise an army and revolt against the government? Hmph."
"Yeah, yeah, listen, we don't have time to discuss anything further." I shrug. "We're here to ask you if Tita Russell and Princess Alfin are somewhere in the mansion."
"Thors and the Imperial Family?" He then saw me. "Wait! It's you...you're...you're that silver-haired man left me back at Juno! And the one who went and...and massacred the IDF!"
"So you remember me? I suppose the news of my notorious actions is spreading quickly. But what's your point?"
"Dah I mean...ahem! What I mean is that they're NOT here! Although, it would have been splendid if we could've at least greeted the princess when she arrived."
I pondered. "So if they're not here in the mansion then it must be..."
"Dreknor Fortress." Elliot answered. "That's where Father and the 4th Armored Divison is garrisoned."
"Then it looks like we have no other choice, but to go to the fortress itself."
"We'll be taking our leave now." Musse said. "You won't tell us we were here, dear Great Uncle?"
"Hmph. What would I gain by telling you that your class was here?" He responded. "Now be on your way!"

We then left the mansion through the back door and then back to the former guild room to discuss preparing for when we go to Dreknor Fortress, that was when Agate turned up, saying he got contacted by Fie to come and help us, he also got us a way in thanks to Celine being a decoy...poor cat. I'll be sure to give her a nice meal or bed.
We then followed his plan and Agate told us about a delivery is being shipped to the fortress. We begin to follow him and exit the city and then found the delivery truck with the staff are packing. We sneak our way and then enter the small containers separately. Honestly, ugh tall guys have a hard time. Good thing I was flexible. I just hope this will work… and the next thing happened, we were being shipped that were being delivered to Dreknor Fortress. It was a bit of a bumpy ride, but we eventually were inside the fortress and when the coast was clear, we got out of the containers.
"We're in." Juna said.
"I'm out of breath..." Altina added.
I sighed heavily. "No kidding… I'm flexible but being squished into a small container is rough."
"This wasn't how I imagined it to be." Kurt said. "I take it that device you used blocked the bio-sensors from detecting us?"
"Got it in one." Agate replied. "The sensor blocker is a miniaturized version of an invention Tita's grandfather put together. You know, we did something similar a while back in Liberl. But that black cat's little distraction came in handy, too."
"But we have a more important issue at the moment. I was scared for a moment there, but we do owe Celine there. I'll be sure to give her a nice meal and bed. Anyway, We need to make our way through the fortress and rescue Tita and Alfin." I said.
"It's strangely empty here, don't you think?" Rean asked
"Considering this is a trademen's entrance, there should be some guards here." Venti nodded "I had a bad feeling about this."
"Agreed. It's too easy." I nodded
"Well, we might as well keep going, right?" Agate replied
"We should be able to make our way up through there." Altina added
We made our way up the stairs, although it was too quiet around here...something was very off about this. But just then, as soon as we entered a big room, an alarm started ringing throughout the fortress.
"Dang it. I knew that was too easy." I sighed.
"My greetings to you, Class VII. And to you as well, Heavy Blade." A voice greeted from the speakers.
"I had a feeling you'd come, Elliot." Another voice spoke.
"Wh...dad?!" Elliot responded.
"And Lieutenant Colonel Neithardt." Rean said.
"Rean! Levi!" A sweet voice greeted.
"Agate!" Another voice called.
"That voice... Is that you, Princess Alfin?!" Rean asked
"Tita, you there, too?!" Agate added.
"Rean, Levi, everyone! Thank the Goddess you're all okay!" Alfin said.
"Your Highness." Rean replied.
"I'm relieved to hear as well." I added. "Cedric is completely worried about you."
"Agate...you really did come for me." Tita spoke.
"Hah. Course I did!" Agate replied. "I said I'd look after you, didn't I?"
"You have no cause for worry. Her Highness and Miss Russell are being treated with the utmost care." Neithardt said.
"Correct. They are under our protection after all. Not as prisoners, but as guests." Olaf added. "We'll be waiting for you in the control on the top floor. Should you wish for their freedom, you will have to come here and earn it."
"However...you enter the headquarters of the 4th Armoured Division. Loathe as we are to use them, we do have archaisms patrolling the premises. If you expect it to make it past them, you'll need to give it your all."
"Hah! Ya think that's gonna stop us, you got another thing comin'!" Agate slapped his fists.
"You better believe we'll give it our all!" Rean said.
"Just you wait, Dad! You, too, Lieutenant Colonel!" Elliot remark
"We will accomplish our mission!" Altina added
"Damn right we will!" Juna nodded
"I eagerly await your arrival, my son. And the rest of Class VII as well." Olaf said
"Please be careful, everyone." Tita warned.
"May the Goddess protect you!" Alfin said.
Juna sighed. " It's good to know they're all right, but, man...we suck at being stealthy."
"No it isn't that Juna. They know who we are and what we do, they had to be expecting us." I said. "But I suppose that's just how famous we've become for the past few years."
"It's bad enough that we're dealing with arguably the strongest armored division there is, but we've also got to face archaisms on top of that." Rean added
"Sounds like we need a diversion." Sara said. "I can act as decoy and lure some enemies away from you"
"Just by you-"
"Rean, I know and understand your concern." I interupted. "But you and I know Instructor Sara well. She's our Instructor, you should know what she's capable of."
"All right…"
I looked at Sara and she nodded. "Agate, I'm leaving you in charge of this wild bunch?"
Agate chuckled. "Roger that. Keep out of trouble, Purple Lighting."
"Sure. Well, I'm off to have some fun" Sara ran down the stairs.

"All right, Team- commence assault on Dreknor Fortress! Move out!" Rean command.
"Let's do this, guys!" Elliot added
"Right!" Me, Altina, Juna, Kurt and Venti nodded
The rest of us went on ahead, and we battled our way through many small archaisms through the long corridors and hallways. We destroyed them with easy. We also had to contend with the Imperial soldiers that were loyal to General Craig.
"There you are, Class VII" A Squad Soldier called out to us
"It's been a while, Young Master Elliot." One of them added
"It's the 4th Armored Division…" Rean muttered
"I'm pretty sure it was obvious." I sweatdrop as I look at Rean
"They're supposedly the strongest division in all of Erebonia, right?" Juna asked
"Haha… I'd rather you not call me 'Young 'Master' anymore, okay? It's getting embarrassing." Elliot nervous smile. "Yo won't let us through if I ask you nicely, will you?"
"I'm afraid not."
"The general specifically asked us to give you a hard time."
"Well, it is not unexpected that he would ask you to do that." Venti sighed.
"Well, we're not going to turn back." Rean said.
Elliot got his Orbal Staff out. "One way or another, we'll have to get past you and prove our resolve to my father." Elliot added. "So, I'm sorry, but we're not going to let you stand in our way!"
"You've grown to be a fine, confident man."
And then the Archaisms appeared
"We'll be putting you to the rest, though, to see just what you're made off."
"As we face war with Calvard, a kind of poison of the mind has spread among the troops; strange weapons have been doled out… But we soldiers of the 4th Armored Division proudly carry on! If you think we're in the wrong, prove it to us in battle!"
"Since you're asking for it!" Agate smirked
"Yeah, we'll set you straight!" Juna nodded as we all got our weapons out.
"Let's dance, shall we?" Venti smirked
"Enough talk, let's settle this!" Kurt nodded
"Engaging!" Altina nodded
As the battle begin. I link up with Rean. Juna and Kurt link up. Altina and Venti link up. Ash and Musse link up. I chose to go after the archaisms since I can tear those down without hesitating. Soon I join and follow up and slash with the 4th Armored Division soldiers and we begin to fight hard as they shoot and slash us. Soon we begin to prevail.
"Your reputation is well-deserved." One of them panted
"Heh, you might just stand a chance against the general."
"Let me ask you something." Rean said as we withdraw our weapons. "You mention a 'poison of the mind.' As far as you can tell, is anyone being affected by it?"
"I'd like to know that, too." Elliot nodded
"Same here." I replied
"Only a few soldiers. A solder name Alan was able to withstand it for now."
"But the other soldiers fallen victim to it. Something about this war makes soldiers abruptly change their behavior."
"You lot might just be able to…"
And then they went unconscious.
"They're all unconscious." Kurt said.
"What's happening with the army?" Altina asked
"The curse of Erebonia is what happened." I answered. Damn you Ishmelga…
"Let's keep going. Remain vigilant." Rean command.
"Roger that." Juna nodded as we keep moving. "Okay, I see why they called these soldiers the strongest in Erebonia."
"We'd be in serious trouble if it was one-on-one." Kurt replied.
"No kidding." Venti nodded.
We begin to encounter more Soldiers and Archaisms on the way and be begin to take them on and the students are also gaining new strength thanks to this large fight we been going on now. After making our way up the floors, we reached a large hanger area where three Soldats were waiting.
"Rean...Levi...and Class VII? What in Aidios's name are you doing here?!" The one in the red Soldat asked.

"Wait a second...is that you, Alan?!" I responded.
"Yeah, it's me. What is going on? Wait… you're the intruders that interpreted the base? Oh, man… I really don't like you fight you guys."
"You're a Graduate of Thors, aren't you?" Juna asked
"I am...This is clearly not what I expected… So why are you here? Wait… never mind… I think I knew the answers… I really don't like this… but orders are orders." The Red Zauber pointed its blade at us.

"Rean, Levi. We may be formal schoolmates but I won't hold back. I wish you good luck!"
"Yeah, You too Alan." Rean raised his hand. "Heed my call! Valimar, the Ashen Knight!"
Valimar appeared and so did my skyblue soldat, we got into them and started the battle.
Rean got onto Valimar and mine with my soldat. Then we begin to battle Alan and the other two. We begin to launched and classh. I swirl my Glaive and Wave of Neptune on them and I follow up with an attack while Alan buff up the groups and then follow up with a strong. The soldiers knows how to give us some hard time. But eventually, we won, and the three Zauber Soldots were on their knees.

"Hehe… I knew you guys can do it... damn… this plague really trying to affect my mind… but… I won't let it… I'm gonna… take a nap." Alan said before he fell unconscious.
"Alan is trying his best to resist the curse" I walk up to him and begin to cast my power and spread it all over the large hanger. Purging the curse.
"What did you do?" Rean asked
"I expel the curse within thie hanger. He and the other soldiers with him won't be bothered by affecting their minds again." I answered
"Oh, thanks, Aidios."
"Damn this curse…"
"Yeah… let's keep going."

Still… I notice that Alan was being shielded by a special power against the cure, other than my own… How did that happen…
We then got them out of their soldats. Some of the Imperial soldiers from earlier showed up and they volunteered to look after them whilst we went on ahead.
"I have to admit, I can understand the position they must be in…" Rean replied.
"Yeah, I imagine the other divisions must have it just as hard." Elliot nodded
"No kidding. I can't even imagine what they're going through." Juna added.
"I imagine it's very hard. Safe with your friend Alan…" Venti replied.
'Damn you Osborne. You and that stupid law…' I muttered as I whisper
As we pass more of the halls and activated more switches. We begin to go up one last floor before we finally reached the commander's room.
"There you are. We've been waiting." Olaf said as we entered the room.
"Dad! Lieutenant Colonel!" Elliot replied.
"Princess Alfin!" Rean respond
"Thank Aidios you're safe." I sigh with relief
"You okay, Tita?" Agate asked.

"Rean… Levi… everyone… I thought… I might never see you again!" Princess Alfin sniffed
"It's been far too long… Sorry for all the worry we caused you." Rean smiled
"We're all right...but what about you Agate?" Tita responded.
"Heh… Same as ever. Glad to see you safe." Agate answered
"General Craig...Lieutenant Colonel Neithardt, you have my thanks. I know with you, they've been in good hands." Rean said.
"Naturally. We could do no less for Her Highness, nor a student of Thors." General Craig replied.
"Though perhaps it wasn't quite the most entertaining of stays." Neithardt said.
Juna laughed a little. "Well, it can't be half as bad as being stuck with Marquis Ballad for company."
"Agreed. That would be tantamount to torture." Altina said.
I chuckled. "I almost feel bad for him...nah, not really."
"Ahem... In any case, my commendations to all of you for making it thus far." General Craig said. "I have to say I'm impressed. Not even the full might of the 4th Armored Division was enough to stop you. You've done your father proud, Elliot. Gone is the cute, little cherub I once cradled in my arms."
"Aww, come on, Dad. Do you really have to call me that in front of everyone?" Elliot asked. "You should already know this by now. We won't let anything stop us. We decided we were gonna win, and that's what we'll do."
"My boy..."
"It does me a great honor to see how immensely you've grown in the many years I've known you." Neithardt said. "Schwarzer, Young Vander. It seems you've started to break free from the doubts shackling you."
"Yes. Thanks in no small part to everyone who's stood by our side." Rean replied.
"And you as well, Levi Sullivan. You have also grown into a powerful young man. One that can take on the Mighty Configurations and the Steel Maiden. You can even take on the Golden Rakshasa and the Radiant Blademaster."
"Well. I have gone through intense training all my life. But I don't know if I have reach their level just yet." I smiled. "Anyways, we have come a long way and we've always rose to the challenge." I got my Glaive out.
"He's right. We owe it to them to rise above you...and come out on top." Rean said.
"Lieutenant Colonel. My brother's comrade in arm and sworn friend. To you, I may still seem young and inexperienced." Kurt added. "But there's no better way to prove how far I've come than giving you my best fight!"
"Yeah, I'm right behind you, Kurt!" Juna agreed.
"We'll support you with all we have!" Altina nodded
"Let's shown them how much we have grown together! As a team, and as comrade in arms!" Venti added
Olaf chuckled. "Take a good look, Neithardt. Before us stands the spirit of the Lionheart Emperor himself."
"Indeed. The new Class VII embodies him well." Neithardt nodded. "That bring the case, we'd be doing them a disservice if we held back."
Then they drew out their weapons.

"This will be your final test!" General Craig said. "Prove to me your strength and resolve! Prove that you can still stand tall against an empire driving itself to despair and destruction!"
"We will!" Rean replied. "Let's go, Levi, Elliot! New or Old, we fight as Class VII. As Thors!"
"Heck yeah!" I exclaimed.
"Right! Together, we form a harmony unlike any other!" Elliot smiled
"I like your spirit! There's no way I'm sitting this one out." Agate smirked
I link up with Rean and then we begin to give it out all. We end up flashing with both generals as the others Musse and Altina support us with buffs. Elliot cast Arts on both of them and then I use my crafts onto both of them as Rean follow up with a powerful strike and then both the general and lieutenant colonel let out their attack as we crash into them and the I twirl my Glaive and then leap into the air and then let a powerful spin slash on both of them as Rean follow up with a hellfire vortex and Musse fire at them and Altina slash them. General Craig land a powerful grand slam onto me and Rean while Neighhardt follow up with a slash attack. As I was battling with my old formal instructor. I then deflect his blade and slash him and push him back while I toss my Glaive toward him and leap and then grab it into an atatck and stab it into the ground and leap over it with a kick, pick it up and then slab it on the ground and send a shockwave to push Nightahrdt back. Once I got it my Glaive back on my hand I charge and slash with him again and then he use his craft on me and push me back but I stood my ground and then wrap in front of him and launch a powerful spin jump slash that harm both him and then general and push them back. Rean follow up and then use his gale on them and Elliot cast his arts as Musse and Altina use their craft on them. And to finish it off. Rean use his S craft on both of them. Then they were on their knees. Well, they weren't called the strongest Imperials for anything, both the General and Neithardt pushed us very hard, but we still won.
"Looks like...we did it, guys." Rean said.
"Yeah... they really know how to push us." I nervously laughed.

"Hah...Remarkable." Neithardt replied. "I didn't expect you to measure up to us so quickly."
"Hahahaha! 'Measure up to'? Why, they utterly crushed us!" General Craig said. "You've more than proven to me that you possess both the strength to fight for what you believe in and the resolve to guide you there."
"Dad." Elliot replied.
"Rean!"
Alfin ran up to Rean and cuddled him.
"Agate!" Tita then ran up to Agate and she hugged him tight.
"Woah, Tita! What you scared I wouldn't win or somethin'?" Agate replied.
"Ohhh, don't you start that, Agate. You're always, always looking for trouble! Did you even consider how dangerous this all was?! If something happened to you, I don't know what I… I…"
Agate chuckled as he hugged her back. "Calm down, it wasn't all that bad. It's not like I came on my own after all. Besides, I'd do anything to come rushing to save you. I promised your family I'd keep you safe, and I'm gonna keep my word."
"Your Highness, I hope you can forgive me for taking so long." Rean said.
"Speak nothing of it! You don't need to apologize at all!" Alfin replied.
She then pulled away and suddenly hugged me.
"Woah!"
"I'm so relieved you're all right as well, after what happened to you at the Gral." Alfin replied. "I once thought I wasn't gonna see you again."
"Alfin...honestly, It was actually an illusion and somehow I was put to sleep." I accepted the hug. "But it pales in comparison to what you and Rean have been through, it must've been heartbreaking after what happened to Olivert."
She nodded sadly.
"I'm really sorry Alfin. Olivert was one of the greatest people I've ever met. Even though he's gone. We must stay strong. Olivert will always be with us. I know it's very difficult. More than any of us know. But despite all that, you stay strong through it all."
"He's right." Rean said. "We're glad you're our princess. I'm glad Elise has the honor of calling you her closest friend, but most of all, we're glad to know you."
"Oh Rean...you and Levi really are far too kind and selfless for your own good." Alfin replied as she pulled away. "No matter how you different you may look Rean, you and Levi always will always be you."
(Venti's pov)
We stare at the little intense moment between Instructor Rean, Levi and Princess Alfin.
"Ah, haha… Wow. Is It, uh, getting hot in here for anyone?" Juna asked as she blushed.
"Yep. We're witnessing a hot and heavy bonding moment with Her Highness with our Instructor and Levi. Honestly, I'm jealous." I answered with a sighed.
"The Lovey-douvey energy filling this room will soon each dangerous levels. Further exposure is bound to induce vomiting." Altina added.
"Eh… we'll let the lovebirds have their fun for now." Ash replied.
"I suppose it can't be helped." Venti nodded. "After all, she has her two handsome knights."
"Oh, Tita. Your highness… I'm so happy for the both of you!" Musse smiled.
(Levi's pov)
"Elliot, my son and shine. You've made a fine man of yourself." General Craig said. "I always knew you'd surpass me eventually. I just didn't realize the day had already come."
"Haha, I think it's safe to say that day is still a long ways off." Elliot replied. "Still, all my progress I owe to you and my friends. In the end, it's Thors that made me into the man I am today. And even though it wasn't easy, I'll always be grateful you sent me there, Dad. Thank you."
"Young Master..." Neithardt smiled. "Haha, you certainly have matured."
And then the General turn around as I got a glimpse that he was going to cry. "Your mother looks down upon you with pride from the Goddess' halls, my boy."
"Heehee… I take it you've all sorted everything out?"
Just then, Sara and Fiona arrived and it seemed that there was something going on between Fiona and Neithardt. Are they a couple? Of course, letting Alfin and Tita go would result in both General Craig and Neithardt being deployed to the front lines as punishment, but it was a risk they were willing to take for us.
"Well then, we should be off before those detestable IDF arrive." I said.
"Shall we be on our way?" Alfin asked
"Yeah, let's get back to the Merkabah." Rean replied.
We then left the fortress and with those two giving the orders, we were able to leave the area with Tita and Alfin on board.
