A few minutes have passed. the Courageous was arriving outside Crossbell, and on the view from the bridge, we saw the pillar of light. Going in silent wouldn't be optional, since we would be detected for sure, they must be expecting us after what happened to Rutger. As Olivert was going to command to land. But…

"Guys… I don't think it will be that easy." I said to everyone in the ship.

"Why not, Levi?" Olivert asked

"Angel Boy is correct. It will not be easy." Schmidt then arrived. "If Angel Boy can guess why, then it should be obvious."

"Um, what do you mean by that?" Tita asked

"Just now, this ship was detected by a directional radar. They are lying in wait for us. They know we are coming."

And right on cue, a huge beam appeared from the left, covering the pillar of light with a barrier.

"Yeah, I thought so." I muttered.

"I-isn't that the same type of beam we saw the Gargantua using?!" Alisa asked.

"That's a magic barrier oscillation beam." Sharon nodded.

"Judging from its origin point, could it be…?" Musse trailed off.

Towa, Elise and Alfin then begin their work and then the source then appeared to be coming from Orchis Tower.

"So it's coming from Orchis Tower!" I muttered

"Why there?!" Rean asked.

"Hey, you guys! Do you read me!?"

Then Jona and Lloyd appeared on the Monitor.

"Jona, and Lloyd too!" Juna said.

"Do you guys know what's going on with that beam coming out of the tower?!" Jona asked.

"Come to the SSS building, quick! Security around the area is sparse right now!" Lloyd requested

We begin to arrive at Crossbell shortly. We made a detour to arrive at the field exercise camp off Ursala Road, we then made our way to the former SSS headquarters where our contacts were waiting.

"I can't believe we managed to sneak this many people inside…" Machias trailed off.

"Looks like their security really has gotten slack." Fie said.

"Yeah, I had my doubts about us being taken off the wanted list, but here we are." Lloyd replied.

"It's good to see you guys again." I said.

"Yeah, the Intelligence Division's not so hot on keeping tabs way out here." Jona nodded.

"It just goes to show how close the war is." Sully added

"That said, those barrier generators are something else. I had no idea they'd been in the works." Tio said.

"I remember them announcing some kind of experimental new defense system a while back. This must be what that was all about." Grace informed us.

"They're essentially a confluence of both science and magic." Emma replied. "It's different from the magic we know in the Empire and from Levi's magic. If anything, I'd say it's closer to the alchemy practiced here in Crossbell."

"They feel kinda like the barrier I made with Demioutgos, too." KeA trailed off. "'Cept not nearly as big. Still, they seem pretty good at protecting smaller areas."

"Geez, what is Bell thinking?" Elie muttered

"The Black Workshop's putting out even higher quality stuff than before." Alisa added

"Something like this could change the face of war all on its own." Ash replied.

"Yeah, no doubt about it." Randy nodded

"Either way, we're going to have to shut all this down." Rean stated "Otherwise, we won't even get a chance to carry out this Rivalry before the war begins."

"Right. We have to keep our own goals in mind." Altina nodded

"But the problem is how are we going to get into Orchis Tower?" I asked. "The tower is guarded by the Imperial Defense Force."

"And there's a barrier stopping us from dropping in on it from above." Kurt added

"In that case, how about we go in from underground?" Juna suggested. "We could probably get in through the Geofront."

"The Geofront does have basement levels that connect to the tower." Tio said.

"Yeah, but it's not like we can waltz in there." Jona added. "They've got military police patrolling the place round the clock."

"Aw, that stinks. And here I thought I'd come up with a good plan for once." Juna whined.

"Actually, I think you have the right idea." Rean said.

"Storming the place head-on is a no go, long as those Zauber Soldats are on watch. Taking on the Zauber Soldats is a no-go. Going through the basement just might be the easier option." Lloyd added.

"In that case, we just need to create a diversion to draw the MPs away." Sully suggested.

"It's gonna have to be something big to distract them all long enough for us to sneak in." Gaius said.

Sara hummed. "You know, the Bobcat IS on its way here. And with team Liberl's bracers about, too."

"Those extra numbers could give us some more options." Fie said.

"Hey, how about we do what Juna and the others did last time?" KeA asked. "You know, when you did a performance to lure away that old rich guy."

I blinked. "Wait, how did you find that out?"

"Your power allowed to see it, right?" Rean asked.

Kea nodded. "Yeah, the spirit veins showed it to me in a vision. It was only for a second, so I didn't really get what was going on, but it looked like fun, hehe."

"That ability of yours sure is wild." Celine said.

"Well, she's only been able to do it since the Great Twilight began, so it's probably a temporary thing." Tio added.

"Using a performance as a diversion doesn't sound like a bad plan." Crow said.

"Especially not with professional artiste on our side." Jusis added

"And not just any artiste, one of the most up-and-coming members of Arc en Ciel." Randy look at Sully.

We then looked at Sully who realized what we were implying.

"Who, me!?" Sully exclaimed

"Well, Arc en Ciel IS really popular around Crossbell right?" I asked

"Yeah, everyone's been really bummed out that they're not putting on any shows." Elie nodded

"Neither of their headliners are in any position to dance right now." Lloyd said. "But we still have Sully Atraid, forerunner of the troupe' generation."

" 'Arc en Ciel's Star-Studded Comback!' I like it! That's a pretty good angle!" Grace cooed

"Hold on a minute! We can't do the show without Ilya!" Sully protested. "A ton of our stageheads are taking time off, too. We'd never be able to put something together on such short notice."

"That shouldn't be a problem. We've got a pretty extensive network of friends to ask for help from times like these." Elliot smile. "I bet they'd be more than willing to lend us a hand or two… Or ten."

"Besides, Scherazard already practiced the part with you, didn't she?" Sara added.

"Oh… Yeah she did." Sully replied.

"I thought she was an A- Rank bracer?" Randy title his head.

"Apparently, she was a professional dancer before joining the guild." Fie explained.

"The Bracer Guild doesn't give A-ranks for nothing. She must be more than physically adequate." Laura added

"We can probably get Estelle on board, too." Elie smiled.

"You'll be fine! I know you can do it!" Juna cheered.

"Please consider it. We may not be able to get into the tower otherwise." Kurt requested

"Nrgh… Okay, fine ,fine! I'll do it already!" Sully respond.

"Great. Sounds like a plan." Musse giggled.

"Wow, Arc en Ciel back in action! I can't wait." Juna cheered.

"Don't get comfortable. This ain't a school festival we're puttin' on here. Not this time." Crow stated.

"We'd better get to work right away. There's only three days left until D-Day." Rean stated.

"We should start by recruiting stagehands and getting rehearsals underway." Altina pointed out.

"Don't forget publicity. We need this to feel like a big deal." Emma added.

"Right, it'll need to be enough of a spectacle to distract the military police and Imperial Defence Force, too." Alisa nodded

"Leave that to me. The Crossbell News Service is at your… well, service!" Grace cooed. "We may need to cut some corners to get the next edition out in time, but we'll do what we can."

"And I'll put the word out on the Orbal network. That should build a little hype." Jona added

"Well since we're all pitching in, why don't I pull a couple of strings on my end as well?"

Suddenly Heiyue turned up and volunteered to pitch in with the plan as well.

"What the-!?"

"Cao!" Lloyd said

"Eavesdropping, are we?" I look at them disappointed.

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Ashen Chevalier." Cao said

"And as always, it's a pleasure to see you again, Elie." Xin greeted.

"You must be the young Heiyue executive I've heard so much about." Rean said.

"What's going on? Xin's here, too?" Elie asked

"Hands where I can see 'em, White Orchid Dragon. I heard your little run-in with Junie, Levi and Mademois-Elie. What's your deal?" Randy said.

"Oh, please. My contract with the governor general's office is long since over. There's no need to be so suspicious." Cao said. "This time around, I'd like the honor of assisting you in your endeavors."

"Listen, Pal. I don't know who you are, but I know shady types like you when I see them." Ash remark.

"You'd never do anything just out of the goodness of your heart. What's your syndicate's stake in this?" Jusis added

"The end of the world would be the end of Heiyue… it's as simple as that." Cao answered. "Even so, I've brought you a little something extra, as a show of good faith."

Cao gave Rean a photo of McBurn, and Viscount on the rooftop of Orchis Tower.

"This is… the Almighty Conflagration? And…" Rean respond in shocked.

"Father!" Laura respond in shocked.

"My agents were able to capture this image shortly before the generator went online." Cao explain. "But apparently, there is more."

"More?" Rean asked

"According to my agents. They sense a powerful individual at the top of the tower. Unfortunately, they don't know who it is. Shall we begin devising our plan now? If you'd like to reach them, we'd best start soon." Cao suggest

I sighed. "It can't be helped. Still… If Mcburn is there… there is a high chance he wants to begin the showdown with me. Although I'm not so sure. But if we are going to distract those IDF scum… it's possible I may need to change my appearance if I'm going to perform. I'll leave the decision to you, Rean." I said to Rean.

"Understood." Rean nodded.

(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - Now, Things to Do)

And with that. We will begin the plan. And past before D-Day starts.

So far. I begin to talk with Elliot and Crow about the whole dancing thing like we did back at the school Festival. We begin to talk for hours. Soon once everything we discuss is in order. We begin to separate for now. Still, who is this individual that Cao guy subordinates sense? And for Mcburn... What am I going to do with him? So far he is interested in our showdown. That much is certain. So is it just for fun? Maybe I should talk to Venti. Wonder if he notices Mcburn since we're siblings.

I begin to look for Venti by using Search magic and then found him talking with Cedric in the Entertainment District. I begin to head over there and then it took me a few minutes but then eventually, I found him and Cedric.

"Venti." I called out.

Venti and Cedric turn around and see me walking to them.

"Ah, brother. Looking for me?" Venti asked

"Yeah, actually. I was planning on asking you something but it's rather private. Mind if we talk?" I asked.

"Sure. You don't mind, right?" Venti turn to Cedric.

"Of course. I'll be heading to my room." Cedric nodded and then he headed to his hotel room.

Then me and Venti begin to head to my room in the hotel and then once we arrived. I close my door and activated a soundproof barrier.

"A soundproof barrier? Guess it is that private." Venti replied.

"Yeah. So Venti. Do you know about Mcburn?" I asked.

"You mean that Blazing Demon? What about him?"

"Well… did you notice anything… unique about him?" I asked

"Unique?" Venti title his head as he think. "Well the other unique I thought of is how he change. That's quite the transformation even. Why do you ask."

"So you haven't notice then."

"Hmm, notice what?"

"Well, when I first met Mcburn. I found something interesting in him. He appears to be human but also not human. But not only that. I sense something that is out of the ordinary. Back when my master told me about him. He was right on the money. Mcburn has three forms."

"Three forms?!"

"Yeah. You already saw two of his form. His human form. And his partial demon form. Although I don't know his true form. But I sense something… interesting."

"And… what is that?" Venti asked. "Hmm. Wait… actually, now that you mention it. I did notice something was out of the ordinary with him. I sense… two… presence… in one body?"

"Ah, so you did felt it." I said. "Mcburn is not of this world. Or rather his demon form is."

"Huh?"

"Allow me to explain."

I begin to have a long talk with Venti. Soon minutes has passed. Venti close his eyes as he progresses with what I've told him.

"Wow…" Venti shake his head. "That's quite the story. So you meet him back when you were 17 during the Civil War. And when you and him talk back in the Pantagruel, because your master was the one who told you about him and Ouroboros. As you and him talk. You both reveal to each other that have unique abilities. As you two have things in common. Except his other form is a demon while yours is fully human. But in truth. His true form collides with an ordinary human and became Mcburn. Two souls collide with each other."

"Yeah. Quite the Impact I know. Although now I know who I am. Who we are. Yet we are human all the same." I nodded

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Well… considering you are my brother. I thought I should tell you since you did notice something is out of the ordinary with him."

"I suppose. So does everyone else know?"

"No. The others don't." I answered.

"So how come you didn't tell the others about this?"

"I forgot because a lot of things was going on that just blow my mind."

"Yeah, I guess with everything that is going on. Well, it's getting late. Let's call it a day. Tomorrow is the day after all."

After a full day of planning and rehearsing, we made our way to Arc en Ciel, and I am part of the diversion and also in a disguise from the IDF. I am one of the dancers and singers while Rean and his chosen team would make their way into Orchis Tower to deal with McBurn, and Victor, and then shut down the beam.

(Venti POV)

I was among those Instructor Rean chosen to go with him. Aside from him, Laura, Kurt, Machias and Sharon. The ones will join me is Emma, Randy and Duvalie. Things are going as plan. We use the Geofront from the Casino that leads to Orchis Tower.

"Lloyd said the elevator was over that way!" Instructor Rean said.

There we see the large gate to the left. Wait. I sense presence coming this way.

'Everyone! I sense presences coming this way!' I informed everyone. 'Let's hide!'

We begin to hide to the corner to the gate and then passing are the Imperial Defense Force. Then they were out of sight.

'Phew. Good work Venti.' Instructor Rean praised me.

'I didn't noticing them coming. You save us from a tight spot.' Machias nodded.

I chuckled. 'Glad I can help. But we should hurry to the elevator now.'

'Right. Let's go!' Instructor Rean nodded and then we begin to make our way to the elevator and then begin to access it and then go up. As we are going up. We suddenly received a call from Lloyd and the others. Vita and the Phantom thief suddenly appeared and join the show.

"Vita and the Phantom Thief? Where did they come from?!" Celine exclaimed

"I guess Vita couldn't pass up a chance to be in the spotlight." Emma giggled.

"Hmph. How typical of them." Duvalie sighed

"Vita Clotilde and Phantom Thief B? Unexpected, but I guess it works." Machias said.

"With this many people, we're sure to attract the attention of the Imperial Defense Force and the military police." Instructor Rean nodded.

"Looks like you managed to make it to the elevator." Tio replied.

"Yeah. Venti pull us off from a tight spot. There were some Imperial Defense Force still patrolling. If he hasn't sense them coming. We would be in trouble."

"Hehe, you're making me blush Instructor." I chuckled.

"Looks like you got lucky to have such a sharp student."

"Well, anyway. You better start getting ready." Jona stated. "The Thaumaturgical Sector is just ahead. It's the hidden core of this tower."

"We're ready." Instructor Rean nodded.

"I'm told that the bracers and the SSS had a joint operation here about a month ago." Sharon replied

"The SSS are no strangers to this place. Heck, two years ago, we stormed it all on our own." Instructor Randy told us.

"Yeah. Brings back memories. Anyway, let's keep moving." Tio replied. "Just so you know, the barrier around this place is gonna make it tough to summon your Divine Knights. So what I'm saying it, be extra careful."

"Understood." Instructor Rean nodded.

"Let's begin the diversions!" Kurt agreed.

"May Aidios show us the way!" Laura nodded.

"We'll be in touch. Good luck!" Jona said and then ended the call. Soon we begin to arrive at the twelve floor.

We begin to head to the core bypassing some doors and then arrive at the Thaumaturgical Sector. Wow. It's colorful. It must be activated.

"Is this the Thaumaturgical Sector?" Kurt asked

"Quite the rainbow place." I replied.

"To think the tower housed a place like this…" Instructor Rean said in awe.

"I saw this place before it was active when I investigated this area." Machias said."Based on how it looks, it must be full functional now."

"Yeah, it's changed since Estelle was here. They must have set it up to the fully functional when they brought in the barrier generator."

"Makes me think back to the last time I was here. Back during the whole independence bid." Randy replied.

"Hmph, I see that this place has various arcane creation on patrol." Duvalie informed us.

"We've come this far. There's no use in complaining now." Laura said. "I must surpass thoe who awaits us- the Almighty Conflagration and even my father- in order to reach the Lance Maiden."

"I'll do everything I can to support you." Sharon nodded. "You can count on Sharon Kreuger, the Reinford family maid!"

"It's much appreciated." Kurt said.

Instructor Rean turn around. "Let's go. It's thanks to everyone's who's helped us that we got this far. I won't let their efforts go to waste. Elliot and the others are counting on us! Let's go!"

"Right!" We nodded.

We begin to rush our way towards the top and taking care of the monsters Duvalie has warned us. As we defeated them. We were stop when a magic barrier prevent us from going further.

"It's a magic barrier!" Laura alert us.

"I don't think that was here when the SSS and Liberl team investigated this place." Machias said.

"Nah, but the same thing happened when Crossbell declared its independence." Randy informed us

"Let's begin by searching the perimeters. The access door is just over there." Sharon advised.

We begin to search the perimeters as Sharon suggested as we enter the accessed door. We begin to head left and again and then found the switch and disactivate the barrier.

"All right! We shut it off." Machias said

"Now let's circle back and go upstairs." Kurt advised.

We circle back and then head upstairs and enter the next premier and defeating monsters along the way and then head further and pass the gate and enter the place and found the elevator.

"This elevator should take us up, however…" Laura trailed off as we can see some barriers on top of us.

"Its use is restricted by the tower's system." Sharon said.

"Let's give it a try, just to be sure." Kurt replied.

We used the elevator but we arrived at the middle level.

Machias grumbled. "So we can't go directly to the top, after all."

"Yeah. Looks like there's a lock preventing it from going straight up." Instructor Rean nodded

"Can't make it too easy for us, you know." Randy stated.

"There's got to be a way to unlock it from this level." Kurt muttered.

"Let's have a look around." Laura suggested

We begin to look around and then found a computer with the locks. So there are three switches. And one is right here. We press it and deactivated one switch.

"Got it!"

"Two more to go." Machias said.

"Yes. Then the elevator should allow us access to the upper level." Sharon nodded

We begin to enter the outer wall and then rush our way through and go around and then make it back to the Core level. We begin to lower the latter and then deactivate the second switch.

"The second one has been dealt with." Laura said

"Just one more to go!" Instructor Rean nodded

We make our way to the outer wall again and go up again and then make our way back to the core and then unlock the last computer and the barrier is shut off.

"Excellent. We disable all the locks." Sharon informed us.

"Let's give the elevator another try!" Kurt nodded.

We make our way back to the elevator and then we finally made it to the Upper Floor. But I sense three powerful presence?

"All right, let's head straight for the rooftop." Machias said. He doesn't have any sharp senses, does he?

"No, Hold on!" Kurt stop him. "I sense something."

"They must be waiting for us here instead of the rooftop." Laura stated

"Huh? Are you serious?" Machias asked in surprised

"I sense fathomless power and a noble warrior's spirit." Rean said. But then notice something else. "No wait… I also sense another powerful warrior spirit! But this one is familiar. Who is the other one?"

" I don't know. In that case, I recommended we prepared ourselves fully before proceeding." Sharon advised us.

We nodded as we got everything prepared. Brother told me that if Mcburn use his mighty power onto us. Use my wind barrier and repel it so everyone can be safe. He did that with his power. Good thing my training with my wind abilities, magic and came in handy. We soon arrive at the location.

"We arrived." Sharon said.

There they are. Laura's father and Mcburn. And… wait… isn't that… Brother's Master?!

"Father!" Laura called out

"And Ouroboro's most powerful Enforcer… But the other one…"

"Hello, Laura, Rean. And the rest of Class Vll as well." Viscount Arseid greeted

"It has been while young ones. You done well make it this far." Levi's Master Makarov nodded.

"Indeed. I'm proud of you for making it this far."

"It seems you still have your memories." Rean said.

"Yep. He's not being controlled by the mask- it's just for looks. The curse is pulling his strings now thanks to Liam." Mcburn nodded. "Honestly, I'm pretty impressed that radiant light of his hasn't been snuffed out yet."

"You really are my father, then. Only you could have such strength." Laura respond calm and yet happy as she walk towards. "I'm honored to have this chance to face you." Then she draw her Greatsword. "I will challenge you with all that I have.. Today, I will prove that I have surpassed you! As your daughter, as a member of the Aeseid family… and as an heir to the name 'Sandlot'!"

"Laura." Rean smiled.

"You truly have been blessed to have a strong-willed daughter, Victor." Master Makarov chuckled.

The viscount chuckled. "I would expect no less from my daughter."

"H-Hmph… Sandlot?" Duvalie sighed. "You cheeky little… Fine. I'll bear witness to your battle. As another who reverses the maiden."

Then Mcburn notice something. "Huh? Hold on. Where's Sullivan? I can sense his presence but, I don't see him amongst you. Normally he would be among you."

"Sorry to disappoint you, Mcburn. But Levi is preoccupied at the moment. But I'm surprised that you're here." Rean said as he turn to Master Makarov.

"You're Levi's Master, right? What the heck are you doing here of all places?" Machias asked.

"Get out… you're Levi's master?" Mcburn turn to Master Makarov.

"Indeed. Levi is my 'pupil' Mcburn. I train and raised Levi well." Master Makarov respond. "As for why I am here, I was informed that Levi and Mcburn have themselves a showdown. I was surprised. So I made my way here."

"Let me guess, it was Liam who send you here, didn't he?" Rean asked

"Oh? What makes you think it was him?"

"You don't have to deny anymore. We learn the truth awhile back." I replied as I step. "That you, Master Makarov, is actually a servant of Liam himself. You were ordered to raise him along with his familiars to train and watch him grow under his vision."

"Hehe. That's because Levi is actually my older brother."

Mcburn look surprised. "Say what?! You're his little brother?"

"Yep. We found out the truth a while back. Although I do possess the essence that you sense as my brother has. The difference, however, is that our powers are different."

"Is that so? I must admit. I'm actually surprised. So he has a little bro now. But now that you mention it. I do sense you have his aura in some way. But are you strong as your big brother?"

"Hehe. Not even close. But I'm getting there. Anyway, Mcburn. It seems I was right about you. And I had a feeling that my brother knew about you too."

"Oh yeah? And what's that?"

"I did notice something was different from the rest of us. For someone who can change into two formed, you're very unique. There's the Almighty Conflagration form which you're using as a human. And the Blazing Demon form which amplified your power. But." I gave him a smirked. "But that's not ALL of it, is it?"

And my respond brought some attention to everyone when I said all of it. Mcburn smirked.

"Hehe. You got sharp eyes kid. I'm impressed. You really are the Golden Angel's bro."

"Wait, I'm not so sure what's going on." Rean respond with a confused look like everyone else.

"What exactly do you mean by all of it?" Machias asked.

"Impressive Venti." Master Makarov clap. "Then again. You were raised and trained well. For the rest of you who are confused, you will all find out what he means later. In any case. You're all wondering why I am here. To answer at long last. It seems I can't deny anymore that Liam is indeed my master. Master Liam ordered me to assist with the Rivalry."

And that surprised everyone.

Mcburn laughed. "From the sound of it, your pals are dancin' up a storm down below. How 'bout we join them with a little show of our own?! So then Bard. Let see what power you got!"

"Alright, then let us begin the show! Try not to get blow away~" I wink with a smirk.

And so the battle begin. I begin to buff everyone with my Craft and then Mcburn begin to launched a powerful magical attack. Brother warn me about it. I begin to use my wind powers and then form a powerful wind barrier around my team and then the powerful fire spell Mcburn cast was too strong. But my wind was able to scatter it somehow.

"Not bad Bard boy!" Mcburn smirked as he begin to launch another firey attack but then we dodge and then split up. I was with Instructor Rean and Sharon while Laura, Kurt, and Duvalie deal with the Viscount and Instructor Randy, Machias and Emma dealt with Master Makarov.

Sharon use her Wires attack as Mcburn launched his firey attacks onto us as I use my wind powers and blow it away and Rean launched an attack towards him and then Mcburn dodge and clash with him and then join in was Sharon and then I begin to cast Arts from the distance and launched a strong Mirage spell onto Mcburn. I begin to draw my bow as Mcburn was launching another fireball and then I launched a stormeye and drag Mcburn, but as well as the Viscount and Master Makarov into it and caught up in the storm. But thanks to Mcburn, fire. It seems to add an addiction element of fire and strike them. Leaving us to a follow up.

"So that's your power." Mcburn respond as he got back fighting.

"Like I said. Try not to get blown away." I smirked.

"Clever aren't you?" Master Makarov respond.

But then Master Makarov summoned another Glaive and then let out a wide spin slash attack onto us and then the Viscount launched a powerful pillar attack onto Machias, Emma and Duvalie and then Mcburn begin to launch a hellfire ball onto Rean, Laura, Kurt and Sharon. But some are able to dodge it and then we resume fighting as I shoot arrows as fast as I can towards our opponents. Then suddenly Mcburn draw his Demontic sword and then pointed at me draw me in and let a strong slash onto me but I dodge it thanks to my buff and counter attack and shot him. Then Miss Sharon follow up along with Instructor Rean as he use one of his crafts and launched a projection attack onto him and Master Makarov and follow up by Machias and Duvalies attack. Sharon then use her Wires and launched a strong attack followed up by Emma's arts attack. Then Laura launched a strong Sword projections onto her father. Master Makarov launched his Glaive towards Instructor Randy and got a hit on him along with Kurt. Then the Viscount zoom and launched a strong clash with his daughter. Mcburn launched one of his attacks towards us from a distance and then he zoom and use his demontic sword onto us with a powerful wide slash and push us back. And then Master Makarov slashes the ground in front of Instructor Rean, me, Machias, and Duvalie with his Glaive to create a rupture, then causes the rupture to explode with fire and throw off back. Then I begin to use my craft Skyward Sonnet into the three bosses and then strike. Now a follow-up attack.

"It's showtime everyone!" I called out,

Everyone with me nodded and we all launched an all-out attack and strike everyone. And then Instructor Rean use one of his crafts onto Mcburn, the Viscount, and Master Makarov. Follow with Laura, Duvalie, Machias, well everyone and let us to some powerful damage. And then Mcburn spread out his arm and launched a powerful flame burst attack and push us back and then Viscount begin to drag some of us in and launched a powerful swing attack onto them and then Master Makarov swirl his Glaive and then stomp the edge and summoned a watery serpentine dragon that charges forward at us and we got push back hard.

"Urh!" Kurt wink in pain along with me and everyone. "What incredible strength!"

"It's no wonder Levi became this strong… His master is incredible strength." Instructor Rean muttered.

"His strength is that of father… or… possible surpassed my father?" Laura panted.

"My guardian was nothing like him. But…" I panted.

"Yeah. We can't give up yet! Let's go everyone!"

"Right!"

Then we continue our battle with them and then it begin to come out into a full scale war. Mcburns power. Laura's father has incredible strength and skills. And my brother's master in the arts of that Glaive and powers. As the fight begin to get serious. Instructor Randy launched a powerful firey gale onto them and then adding Machias, Emma crafts, and then Kurts, Duvalie, Laura crafts onto them. I begin to launched my power of the wind and then channel and blast it towards the three foes, a sphere like cyclone appeared from me and enlarge and pulled the three into it and before inflicting damage on them. And then Sharon used her Shadow stitch onto them and then everyone else follow up. And then Laura begin to use her S craft onto them and launch mighty damage. But it wasn't enough.

"This is far from finish." The viscount respond.

"Not bad. You guys are really something." Mcburn smirked.

Master Makarov shocked. "Most impressive. But show me more."

And then they begin to power up. And then they begin to unleash their S craft onto us. Master Makarov extended his Glaive and then charge at us with blinding speed and then appeared at the center and swirl his Glaive and form it into a tornado and drag us in. And then launch slashes to the tornado. Then Master Makarov channel the tornado with us in it. Toward the tornado in front of him from a distance. He swirl his Glaive and the launched a trust attack which shape into a phoenix as it screech and engulf us and explode.

"Gah! What power!" Machias exclaimed in pained.

"Damn! What kind of old man is he?!" Instructor Randy panted.

"We can't give up… just yet!" Emma panted.

"Right. Let's go everyone!" Instructor Rean panted and nodded.

I begin to buff everyone with my Wind chains Craft and then we all begin to fight back hard again. It begin to go all out quick. And then I begin to launched a storm eye again and onto them again and then Instructor Rean follow up with a Helix attack onto them. Laura with her strong attack and push them back. As the bosses are going to counter back. Machias, Sharon, and Kurt launched their attacks and then separate them as they dodge. Only for me to cast a powerful Mirage Arts onto them and deliver devastating damaged. Then Duvalie launched her swift swordsmanship onto them. We all begin to follow up and then let out an all out attack.

"Venti!" Instructor Rean shout and command me.

"Right!" I nodded.

And then I begin to use my new S craft.

"Spirits of the wind. Bless us with your mighty Gale." I swirl my arms and then a powerful wind gush begin to rise up. "Bring forth the sounds, give the breathe of life and called to the Archons of the wind." The magical spirits in different appearances, a fairy, a humanoid being, a bird, a dragon, and magical creatures of the wind appeared and then strike at Mcburn, Master Makarov and the Viscount. And then adding wind chains sounds. "Archons of the Wind. Guide my hand." I raised my hand and appeared a glowing bow imbue with wind. I pulled the bow string and it produce its own arrow and a large glowing green magic circle appeared. "Celestia Gale!" I shout and unleashed several swirling glowing green arrows and it surrounded the three bosses and then a sphere appeared and enlarge and a cyclone appeared in the inside delivering Devastating damage and explode into a supercell. I then let out a chuckled.

"Impressive/you little-/ Marvelous!"

The three bosses were on the break state. Then we begin to attack them and then push them back. The three were on their knees. We managed to win, somehow. But it's not over yet. The viscount got up and so did Master Makarov and Mcburn. The fight is not over yet.

"It is time to end this." The Viscount said as he power up.

"Yes." Laura nodded and then she power up.

And then he charge at us and then Laura charge up and they both let out a war cry and then crash into each other and fight to the very end. The rest of us stay our of it and watch and then they let out another war cry and charge at each other as they pass through to each other. The Viscount let out a small chuckled.

"Well done." The Viscount said as the mask begin to crack. Then the mask broke.

"She did it!" Rean smiled.

Then the Viscount was on his knees.

"Don't worry… I'll be okay." The Viscount panted as he smiled. "The curse has been keeping me from feeling pain. Now that I'm freed, it's all coming back. Oh, and I bet the little Vander could show me a good time, too. But I had to admit." Mcburn turn to me. "You actually got my blood boiling Bard boy. That wind powers of yours is no slouch either. I'll have more fun with you like I did with your big brother."

I laughed "I'm flattered. But I'm nowhere near as him."

"Krgh… His demontic sword." Kurt muttered

"Very well. Now that I am myself once more, I can show you a fight you won't soon forget." Sharon respond.

"That thing from the Gargantua!" Rean muttered.

"The Black Workshop must have begun mass production!" Sharon said.

"Activating backup protocol. Commencing extermination of intruders." The mechanical voice said as Giant Soldat begin to fire it's laser at us but we dodge it in time

"Did they have this thing here as backup in case the viscount was defeated!?" Machias asked

"Looks like it. To make matters worst, we can't summon our Divine Knights here!" Rean added

"Alberich, you piece of shit!" Mcburn growled as he begin to attack it with his fire power. "How dare you try to get in the way of my fight!" Then he launched at it and then a soaring wind blow was heard and the Zauber Solat was engulfed in flames.

"He wrecked it in one blow?!" Machias exclaimed.

"The Blazing Demon's flames are not to be underestimated…" Sharon said.

"No." Master Makarov respond. "Look more closely."

I notice what he mean.

"Everyone, look!" I stated

The Zauber Soldat has been equip with anti-magic armor.

"Tch. Anto-magic armor… Pain in the ass." Mcburn growled and then ready to attack it with his demonic sword. "In that case… how about this!?"

Then suddenly a strong strike of wind strike the Giant Zauber soldats and we see it's Kurt's mother. And now two more charge from above and then they cut the Zalber Soldat in half. Whoa!

"No way…" Rean awed.

"Brother, Uncle… Mother, too?!" Kurt exclaimed

"The Vanders!" Laura respond

The viscount respond in a small chuckled. "They made it in time."

"We couldn't ignore a request from Victor. Unfortunately, my brother was indisposed at the moment." General Zechs informed us

"You called them here, Father?" Laura asked.

"Indeed. News had reached me and Master Makarov confirmed that Matteus was in eastern Erebonia." The viscount nodded. "I requested his support, just in case."

"You thought to do that even while under the influence of the curse?" Sharon asked

"Just how strong is he?" Machias asked

"Very strong will if that answers your question." Master Makarov answered. "It take a strong will to resist the curse. It shouldn't surprised me so. In any case. You all fought hard. I hope you managed to found newfound strength during the fight."

He's right. I can feel my newfound strength and endurance.

"Personally, I would easily destroy that disgusting machine of Alberich. But I let the Vanders have that one."

"Kurt. You've done very well. The rest of Class Vll, too." Kurt's mother smiled.

"Father couldn't make it this time, but we'll do everything we can." His brother Muller said. "Olivier's people outside are counting on you, so do your best!"

Plenty of strong fighters here." Then his flames begin to rise. "I'm excited for my showdown with the Golden Angel. But I can also say that you guys just about ready for my full strength too." Then we saw a large shadow from him. Is that… his true form? "But I or we can save that for after you beat the Steel Maiden. We'll meet again on this world's final day. I'll be looking forward to it. Bard boy… your name is… Venti, right?"

"Huh?" I blinked. "Yeah, why?"

"Catch up to your brother. I'm looking forward on fighting you someday. Schwarzer. Venti. Give my regards to Levi for me. And tell him our showdown will be at the final day. Later Old man."

Mcburn then teleported away.

"He's gone." Sharon said as we put our weapons away.

"What was that shadow?" Instructor Rean asked.

"I… can't stop shaking… What in the world is he?" Machias gulp.

"I know you and the chancellor ren't exactly a united front, but…" Machias trailed off

Then I heard awes from below.

"It seems it's nearly reached the best part." Mariabell said as she heard it too. "It's been a while since I last saw them perform. Perhaps I'll go and watch for a spell." Then a wide magic circle appeared over and under the generator. "Until we meet again. I look forward to seeing if humanity can surpass the powers of legend."

Then Mariabell and the generator teleported away.

"She's just as esoteric as ever." Instructor Rean sighed

"Indeed." Sharon nodded She could, in fact, be even more formidable than the society's previous Third Anguis. We should count our blessings. Our work here is done."

"Right. Let's get out of here and head to the rendezvous." Kurt nodded

"Sounds good. Elliot, Altina, Levi and Sully really came through for us." Instructor Rean nodded.

We begin to hurry and leave this place and head back to the rendezvous point. Few minutes has past
