TJ was in the Principal's office for punching Randall "You know Detweiler… This is the first time you get in my office for punching a student, Usually your girlfriend is the one who goes to my office for this kind of thing" Principal Prickly laughed while looking out at the window
"Even you know?" TJ looked at Prickly incredulous
"Word travels fast in the teacher's lounge" The principal said "So? Can you tell me what happened?" Principal Prickly turned around and sat on his chair to confront TJ
TJ sighed then explained the whole situation to Prickly about how Randall wanted to blackmail them
"I see… that boy is troublesome, still no reason to punch someone, violence is never the answer, detention for the rest of the week, I will also be calling your parents" Prickly said
"Sir, Can I please make just one tiny request?" TJ smiled at Principal Prickly a bit nervous
"That depends, what do you want Detweiler?" Prickly frowned at the boy expecting something absurd from TJ
"Could you please not mention the part about me dating Spinelli… You see… They don't know about it" TJ said
Prickly started laughing "I see…" he whipped a tear off his eye in amusement "I will see what I can do Detweiler" Prickly smiled at the boy
TJ left the principal's office with a grim expression "I'm doomed"
TJ was right to worry, his parents were waiting for at home "TJ, when school called I thought, "Oh here we go, another prank" I never imagined it would have been for a fight" His father said with a concerned look at his son
"Sorry Dad, I know it isn't like me…" TJ smiled at his Dad glad prickly didn't tell them
"That said I think it is a noble feat fighting to defend the honor of the girl you love" His father laughed
"Too good to be true…" TJ thought then sighed lowering his head
"We even made sure to call Spinelli's parents and tell them the good news" His mother chuckled
"I'm a dead boy…" TJ thought
"We aren't grounding you but no comics for the rest of the week" His father said then got upstairs
TJ turned around to leave his house but as soon as he opened the door Spinelli was waiting for him outside smiling "Hey… Teej" The girl frowned at him
TJ smiled at her fearing for his life knowing exactly the source of her anger "I… Prickly told my parents about the whole thing…"
"My Mom won't leave me alone and my Dad says he wants to know the details and TALK to you!" Spinelli grabbed TJ by the shirt
"Calm down" TJ grabbed Spinelli's hand and managed to get the girl to release his shirt "It's all under control" TJ walked with Spinelli outside
"Under control?! It's a disaster, every bad thing that I could possibly think happened" Spinelli groaned while they walked the sidewalk
"So What? You wanna break up?" TJ looked at Spinelli a bit worried
"Don't even joke about something like that" Spinelli sighed "Sorry, I freaked out"
"It's okay, it would be weird if you didn't, this whole situation whomps" TJ sighed
"There they are, our two lovebirds" Vince approached the couple with Grethen and Mikey behind him
"Don't even start, My parents found out about me and Teej and are making me question my sanity" Spinelli approached Vince with fury in her eyes
"I see… you guys wanna see Gus trying to confess to Cornchip girl or…" Vince looked at Spinelli scared to his mind
"We're in" Spinelli and TJ immediately felt their expressions lighten up as they followed Vince and the rest of the gang to Kelso's where Gus was Sitting with Cornchip girl both seemed very nervous by that point, they were drinking strawberry milkshakes while glancing at each other from time to time, they also had their land and sea sets mounted
"Blue Nine…" Corney said
"Miss…Green Seven?" Gus smiled slowly feeling the awkwardness melt away
"Hit" CornChip smiled "Sorry… I'm not in my game, today was… eventful" she blushed
"Tell me about it… TJ and Spinelli… Hope they are okay" Gus said
"I think everyone will get used to it after a few weeks… Green Four?" Corney said
"Hit, Me and the gang already knew so we don't feel as weird" Gus said "though they didn't know we knew… if that makes any sense to you, Blue Three?" Gus said
"Hit, It does… Hey Gus, may I ask you a question?" Cornchip smiled at him a bit flustered
"Sure, go ahead" Gus said
"What would you do if a girl confessed to you?" Cornchip asked smiling and blushing bright red at him
Gus almost choked on his strawberry milkshake, he paused for a moment to recover himself then looked at her "If… If she is nice like you I would have no problem with it…" Gus lowered his head in shame "Sorry…"
"Smooth…" Spinelli snickered while the gang listened the two talking
"No… I'm glad" Cornchip girl giggled
"Corney… Is there a boy you like or something like that?" Gus said
"I guess… What about you?" Cornchip girl smiled at him
"I… I think I like you" Gus said
Cornchip could feel her heart skip a beat right then, she smiled at him dumbly like the smile Spinelli had previously in the bathroom "I…I think I like you too… You are so nice to hang out with…" Cornchip looked around, when she noticed the store was empty she leaned forward and kissed Gus
Gus's mind went blank for a few seconds before noticing what was happening but as soon as he realized his crush was kissing him he kissed her back "Wow… Just like they said… all warm inside and…"
"...Happy thoughts" Corney smiled at Gus almost as if she was hypnotized "I love you…" Cornchip giggled now less embarrassed after mustering the courage to kiss Gus
"I… love you too" Gus said "Blue Twelve…" he smiled
Cornchip sighed "Hit, you saw right through my strategy even in a moment like this" Corney giggled "It's your win"
"It was pretty close. as always… look about our parents…" Gus scratched the back of his head a bit embarrassed
"Not a word of it to then" Corney said, her facial expression now turned to a serious one quickly
"Exactly" Gus nodded "Listen… here is pretty dangerous… someone could see us, do you wanna go to the abandoned playground TJ and Spinelli go?"
Corney closed her game set and drank the rest of her milkshake "Won't they mind?"
"They probably won't be using it anymore for dating since everyone knows about them now" Gus said
"Gee thanks for asking for our permission" TJ surged from a table behind them laughing
"You can have it, just don't scratch the rust from the toys" Spinelli laughed with him
"G-Guys?" Gus and Corney Blushed "You were spying on us?"
"After seven months of you guys spying on us I think it's just fair we do the same from time to time" Spinelli grinned
Gus took Corney's hand and led the girl outside before paying "Sorry about them…" Gus said while walking the trail that led to the abandoned playground
Cornchip giggled a bit embarrassed "Your friends are nice, I don't mind if they know about us" they arrived at it to find it empty "It's so silent here…" Corney looked around the playground smiling "This is great…" Cornchip blushed
Gus sat on the merry-go-round with her then wrapped his arm around her shoulder "Sorry for not confessing sooner…" Gus said a bit embarrassed
"It wasn't your fault, I was scared to confess as well, that until Spinelli said it feels nice to kiss a boy" Corney chuckled "But I'm glad things turned out like this" Cornchip said
"So…can we meet here tomorrow?" Gus smiled at her a bit nervous
"It would be my pleasure" Cornchip giggled then pulled him into another kiss
"So?" A few meters away from there TJ and Spinelli had Randall tied while Gretchen checked a camera Randall was using to take photos of the newly formed couple
"Just as we thought, he was planning to blackmail them next" Gretchen said while going through a couple of photos in his camera
"Give me that" Spinelli extended her hand to Gretchen who gave the tomboy girl Randall's camera, Spinelli then proceeded to crush it with her bare hands "Done" She said as she threw the camera remains far away
"It was brand new!" Randall said
Spinelli cracked her knuckles "Can't say the same for your face when I catch you" Spinelli untied Randall "You have 5 seconds to run away, starting now 1…2…" Spinelli smiled at Randall with a perverse look on her face
"M-MOMMY!" Randall screamed in terror and started running
"3,4,5!" Spinelli ran after Randall with fire in her eyes "I DIDN'T GET THE CHANCE TO PUNCH YOU AFTER WHAT YOU DID TODAY!"
"Everything is well when it ends well" Vince said smiling at TJ
"I wish it was true, there is still one more trial I have to endure today… and It's the hardest one" TJ lowered his head
"What could be harder than everything you two went through today?" Mikey looked at TJ puzzled
A few hours later TJ was sitting on the couch of the Spinelli Household, her parents were sitting right next to him showing him an album of photos while Spinelli looked at TJ with fury in her eyes "And this one is when she was 2 years old, she was afraid of this cat that hanged near our home and cried terrified of it" Her mother said showing a picture of Spinelli as a baby crying while pointing at a gray cat
Spinelli had her face buried in a pillow trying her best to not listen to her parents embarrassing her
TJ was clearly uncomfortable with the situation but tried his best to stay cool "V-Very cute Ms. Spinelli…"
"I'm so proud Pooky and you got together, you two are together since kindergarten it was just a matter of time" Her father laughed confidently "She may not seem like one but she is a romantic, she used to draw you two together" Her father laughed
"Alright, that's it!" Spinelli grabbed TJ's hand and showed him the door, now outside Spinelli covered her face in shame "Sorry about them…"
"Sorry for what? Hey my parents embarrass me all the time, if you were in my place they would tell you I used to play with my sister's dolls when I was a baby and that I liked to wear my diaper over my head" TJ shrugged "It's just life" He smiled at her
"Thanks for trying to make it less embarrassing" Spinelli approached TJ and kissed him "We didn't kiss much today…" Spinelli kissed him again
"There was barely enough time for it, let's just hope tomorrow will be different" TJ kissed her back then waved her goodbye
Spinelli entered her home "Are you guys actually trying to kill me from embarrassment?!"
"No boy that can't take a few embarrassing photos from when you were a baby is right for you dear, The Detweiler boy is a good kid, I can already picture you in a wedding dress ten years from now…" Her mother closed her eyes picturing the scene
"You are unbelievable…" Spinelli shook her head and went upstairs to her room, she closed the door "Wedding with Teej?" Spinelli put her hands on both her cheeks feeling her face getting warmer, she smiled briefly then shook her head trying to dismiss those thoughts to no avail.
The days went on as normal after that, TJ and Spinelli started going out on dates in different places while Gus and Cornchip girl kept using the abandoned playground too afraid of their parents finding out, dating still seemed gross to most kids in 3rd street but some risked their reputations for it and dated in secret from the rest of the school.
