We were back out in the Wetlands and the sky had changed, the sunset and the evening passed by while we were inside, and it was already morning, the last day of August before the war starts. The Stella Sanctuary had vanished.
"Are we… back?" Machias asked.
"Yeah. We're back." I nodded. "And, I guess it's morning."
"Hehe… things certainly took an unexpected, Huh?" Rean smiled.
"I'm so glad… my Lord… you're back with us." Duvalie sniff with joy.
"Wipe your tears Duvalie. You fought well and open my eyes. I am proud of your process." Lianne smiled "I had forgotten the same experience I had with Drechels all those years ago. I owe him and Liam that. But just like the Azure Awakener… I'm living on borrow time. But I'll make the most of it."
"Even so… We're so glad to have you among us, Lianne." Rean smile.
"Yeah… we truly do." I smiled.
"Oh Lianne… you have no idea how happy I am… and so anger at you too! Do you have any idea how much I worried over you!?" Roselia pouted while her tears are out.
"Forgive me Rose. I don't blame you for being angry of me. All I can say is… I'm sorry." Lianne apologize.
"W-Well… you can start by apologizing AFTER you and I had a long long LOOOONG talk!"
And we sweatdrop.
"Aw man, did we miss the main event?" Suddenly, Campanella appeared.
"Huh?! What the hell do you want?!" I asked.
"Oh, don't be like that. I'm not here to pick a fight. I simply came to say my farewells to a longtime friend, and looks like I'm not the only one. But here she is alive. For the time being anyway."
Then, we saw Vita, Bleublanc, Joshua and Renne appear, I guess they had connections with her as one of Ouroboros.
"Vita!" Emma exclaimed
"Renne! Joshua!" Tita added
"Bleublanc, too… You were all watching, weren't you?" Sharon asked.
"Indeed… this was one of the reasons we agreed to help with the performance." Bleublanc answered
"I used my spells to keep an eye in you. I'm glad we were able to catch you. Although this is something we did not expect. It seems Liam truly has done something remarkable." Vita said.
"We happy that we are to see her alive. The two of us had tea together all the time… and her and Loewe's sparring sessions were always a sight to behold." Renne smiled.
"Even when I had completely closed my heart off to the rest of the world, You were there and still tried to reach out for me." Joshua added. "Thank you Arianrhod… thank you for trying to reach out to me."
"Hehe. There is no need to thank me. I am happy to see how much you had grown. Leonhardt would had been very proud of you. Both of you." Lianne replied.
"Lord Arianrhod…"
"Ouroboros lost quite a valuable ally today. It's a shame it was necessary for the Rivalries. But I don't think the Grandmaster wasn't going to expect this. Well, I'm sure the Grandmaster won't mind all that much." Campanella replied
"Wow, just… wow." I frowned. "Are you really here to talk?"
"It might be hard to believe, but I did come here to grieve. But instead… I'm overflow with joy. To be honest, though, even I find it a little strange I can feel this way. Life's just full of surprises. "
"Campanella…" Renne trailed off.
"Just when I think I've got you figured out… Well, since you're here, there's something I've been wanting to ask you." Vita said. "What is this omen the governor general mentioned? And what did he mean by the 'final stage'?"
"Now that you mention it." Kurt respond
"I do remember him saying that." Celine said.
"And I'm guessing it has something to do with why McBurn, the Bloodlust Guy, (Tartaglia) and the Ogre Girl aren't here." Renne added.
"Yeah, something's off. Those two freaks wouldn't miss the chance to see a battle like this." Randy stated
Joshua nodded. "And McBurn and Arianrhod were among Ouroboros' longest members. You'd think he'd be here, too."
"He's conspicuous in his absence. I realize he just left the tower, but still, he should have been able to make it here." Sharon stated
"Not to mention, Liam said that we have to prepare for the 'upcoming'." I added
Campanella clicked his fingers. "I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise. You'll find out the reason why soon enough."
"Huh? Hey!" Juna shout.
Campanella then vanished.
"Everyone, look!" Millium said.

We then looked up at the sky and something big flashed, I felt an overwhelming disruption that affected Rean, Arianrhod, Cedric and Crow too.
"Rean!" Alisa called.
"Your Highness!" Kurt exclaimed
"My lord!" The Stalritter exclaimed
"Wha- this distortion… this presence…" I gasped "Are you guys okay!?"
"Yeah… but this presence..." Rean said.
"Yeah, I feel it, too." Crow added. "Something big just showed up."
"Yes… it was extremely dark…" Cedric gulp.
"That light...there's only one place it could have come from." Musse said.
Vita nodded. "Yes. There's no doubt about it."
"Is everyone okay down there?" Olivert's voice called out.
Just then, the Courageous II showed up.
"The Courageous II!" Angelica exclaimed
"Olivier, is that you?" Tita asked
"Sorry, there's no time to explain. Please come aboard quickly!" Olivert replied "Estelle, Lloyd and the others are with me, too."
"Something strange is happening all over the Empire. It started in the skies over the Osgiliath Basin!" Towa added
(Liam's pov)

I was riding my horse familiar next to an Imperial Ship being borrowed by Ouroboros. A purple portal appeared and the floating island appeared. The Tuatha De Danann. The Floating Fortress. Also known as the Empyreal Fortress. Watching the view with me were Shirley, Tartaglia, and Mcburn.
"Man… it kinda socks I didn't get the chance to say goodbye to the Steel Maiden." Shirley sighed.
"Yeah. She was a great Mentor to me. I sure am going to miss her." Tartaglia nodded.
"But I guess coming here was the right choice, huh?"
"Yep. The party's just getting started." McBurn answered
"Yep." I nodded. "The fake Salt Pales should arrive all over Erebonia and Nord Highland by now. "
(Levi's pov)
By the time the Courageous II landed, a purple portal appeared from the sky and then...something ginormous appeared in its place, it was like a floating island the size of half a continent. On the bottom half were moving eyes which was disturbing, this was extraordinarily bad. The rest of us got back on the Courageous and onto the bridge to confirm what was going on. I talk to the Stalritter on what they're planning to do. They're planning on gathering allies and Duvalie left with them. Lianne stayed with us so she can rest.
(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Trump Card for the Worst Situation)
We heard that in addition to the giant floating island showing up that had a fortress inside, there were also five spiral towers that appeared across Erebonia. Half of the day passed by quickly and the day of the war was almost upon us. I could feel the tension and the nerves inside me, but I still remained calm.
We were now in the meeting room, listening to George who had something to tell us.
"This massive floating fortress you see, appeared from over the Osgiliath Basin. The Tuatha De Denann, or Empyeral Fortress, an ancient superweapon for the Gnomes that first existed from 1,200 years ago." George said. "An airborne structure from before the Great Collapse which was hidden away in space-time distortion that was caused by the Great One's birth."
"Damn, so that is what that was..." Randy muttered.
"How were they able to make it function again?" Machias asked
"Since the past millennium, the Gnomes have been carrying out large-scale renovations on the fortress. It was being converted to connect with the Pale Salt and the interface with the curse through them, turning it into an ideal stage for the Rivalry of the Seven. It's there where they intend to hold the final Rivalry once the Great Twilight reaches the climax."
"And it's all for the sake of reforming the Great One." Rean said.
"Damn, they really went far with this one." Crow added.
"But is there a way for us to get in?" Cedric asked.
That was when we were contacted by our many other allies, and then we began to devise an all-or-nothing battle plan. Between Jormungandr and Millie Mirage, a third operation was created, one that would save us all and the world.
"So… this is Operation Shining Steel, then?" Joshua asked
"After reviewing the whole plan like this, it seems more reckless than it does bold." Major Machael said.
"We may not have much margin for errors, but I think this couldn't actually work." Towa replied.
"So basically, we're going get a bunch of teams to raid all the Salt Pales at once, put 'em out of commission… and then have the Courageous II charge into the fortress while its barrier is down. That about sum it up?" Randy asked
"Yes, but there's little chance that things will go so smoothly. I'm sure we'll have a number of unforeseen circumstances to deal with. Our top priority, however, is making sure the Divine Knights and Class VII get to the targets." Lieutenant Colonel Mueller answered
"That's right. So even If something goes awry and the Courageous II is unable to land, we can continue with the plan. As long as Rean and the others can successfully board the fortress in time, we still have a chance." Prince Olivert nodded
"Our foes will try to end the Rivalry of the Seven as the Great Twilight reaches its climax. If we manage to seize control of the Rivalries before then, however, we may be able to prevent them from achieving their goals." Roselia added
"At this point, they think they've already won. It's likely they'll welcome Instructor Rean, since they need him to finish the Rivalries. And that will be our chance." Musse stated
"They're pretty cocky if they think they won. It's time for them to prove how wrong they are." I cross his arm.
"That's all fine and good, but what about the Salt Pales? Once glance and you can tell they're bad news. They're giving off one hell of an ominous vibe." Crow stated
"Yes… They seem to be pulsing with energy from the lower planes. And this same energy is what's letting them act as singularities, making them nearly impregnable." Emma respond.
"Tsk. I like to see how impregnable they are…" I muttered
"Further, given the devils that have been appearing all over lately… I get the feeling we may find even worse things protecting each of the Pales." Father Thomas said.
"Yes… it's something we'll need to be prepared for." Gaius nodded
"Well, if we know what we gotta do, then all that's left is to go do it!" Estelle said as she appeared on the screen with the Liberl Team and the SSS.
"That's right. It's our turn now." Lloyd nodded

"You can leave one of the Salt Pales to the Liberl team. We just gotta decide on which of us is going."
"The same for us in the SSS. As members of the Radiant Wings, let us help clear a path for you and the others."
"Estelle, Lloyd, everyone..." Rean smiled
"Aww, you guys…" Tita smiled
"Guess we shoulda seen this coming, huh?" Randy smirked
"You can count on us too."
Then Duvalie and the other members of the Stalrittler appeared on the screen.
"Oh hey gals, are you sure you can do it?" I asked
"Yes. The time has come for the Stahrittler to unite once more. To see our lord's will done." Ines nodded
"Our lord saw fit to grant you her power. It's our duty to carry her torch to light your way." Ennea added
"All of you..." Laura smiled
"Don't forget to save some seats for us eh?"
Then Xeno and Leo appeared on screen.
"We'll be teamin' up with those Stahritter gals, if that's okay." Xeno said.
"The boss would have wanted as much from us." Leo nodded
"Xeno… Leo…"Fie smiled
"Sheesh… this is one hell of a lineup." Sara chuckled.
"In that case, you can add Sharon and me to the list of volunteers." Angelica nodded
"As maid for the Reinford family, I would be honored if you would allow me to fulfille this particular role." Sharon nodded
"Wh-Angie!" Towa eye widen
"You, too, Sharon!?" Alisa added
"Lady Angelica and I have also suffered at the hands of our foes. After careful discussion, we have decided it would only be appropriate to return the favor."
"From what I hear, Lieutenant Colonel Mueller will be returning to the courageous II tomorrow." Angelica pointed out. "I figured I'd leave the steering up to the expert, so I can get back to kicking some ass."
"Sharon… Angelica…" Alisa smiled.
"Th-Then you can count me in, too!" Towa cheered
"Can't let you do that, Towa. We need you here. You've got the both the Courageous II and the entire operation to look after." Angelica stated
"Angelica's right. I'd very much prefer you to remain at your post." Prince Olivert nodded
"I'll be on the bridge as well, but even then I suspect we'll have our hands full manning the air defenses." Michael added
"I…" Towa sighed. "Understood."
"There's no need for concern, Towa." Elise smiled
"We're all in this together. Every one of us has their own part to play." Princess Alfin nodded
"Thank you. Both of you. But still, we can't send them out by themselves." Towa trailed off
"Towa's right. We have to send more than Two volunteers." I nodded.
"Then I guess you'll just have to let me join them."
Then George appeared on the screen.
"Fancy seeing you again George."
"Yeah. I'm sure you must think I have no right to come back like this… and I can possibly make up for everything I've done, but I'm going to help anyway. Because... I'd rather not get the same failing marks Franz did."
"Okay, that makes three. Not as many as I'd like, but—" "Then allow me to lend you a hand."
Roselia appeared as she interrupted Angelica.
"Grandmother…" Emma look surprised.
"I fulfilled my duty as a witch. Now that I have played my part, I may as well bloom once final time for you young folk." Roselia grin.
"In that case, then shall I join you?"
Then Arianrhod appeared on the Screen.
"My Lord?" Duvalie asked
"You wanted to join Angelica's team?" I asked
"Yes, I figured that my strength may require to stop the Salt Pales as I leave the others to Duvalie and her team." Lianne answered
"Yes. I think that's a lovely idea Lianne. Were we to add my strength along with Lianne, to that of the Rogner girl, a formal Gnome, and the Reinford maid… would that be sufficient?" Rose asked
"Yeah. That will be more than enough." I nodded
"Haha! Now we're getting somewhere. But if It's possible, I'd prefer to have the curvier version of you come with us." Angelica cooed
"Angie… I don't think now's really the time…" George sighed.
"Heehee. It would be our pleasure to have you accompany us, Lady Roselia, Lord Arianrhod." Sharon smiled.
"For cryin' our loud…" Crow sighed.
"We have four groups… our forces have expanded considerably." Altina stated
"You can leave that one to me." Aurelia said as she join in.
"Wait, for real?!" I exclaimed
"Aren't you suppose to be focusing on all that mille Mirage stuff?" Ash asked
"Certainly. But the plan has always been to leave the first day of the operation in Wallace's hand. I'll be taking over tomorrow… once the war begin in earnest." Aurelia answered
Musse nodded "Lieutenant General Bright anticipates that both sides will spend the first day scouting, with perhaps a few lights skirmishes at best. Presumably, General Vandyck will mobilize the Imperial Army with a similar mindset."
"All bets are off once that second day hits, however." Wallace sighed. "Odds are, all eight battlefronts will erupt into all-out carnage at about the same time."
"The Imperial Army will likely be forced to halt in both Liberl and Remiferia. You can expect they'll deploy their strongest divisions—the 3rd and 4th including at that time." Mueller replied
"Yeah, I thought that might be the case…"Elliot trailed off.
"And the reason you're helping us out is so things don't get to that point, right?" Estelle asked
"Perhaps… it should serve a suitable warm-up for the decisive battle to come, at least." Aurelia answered "Though, of course, I won't be going it alone."
Then Vita, Victor, and Toval appeared on the screen.
"Heehee. It's as the general says. We, too, will be assisting you. For the first day, anyway." Vita grin.
"This will be my final duty as head of the Arseid school. I shall prove us worthy in succeeding the Sandlot name." Victor said.
"Dunno if I measure up to these three, but… this is as good a chance as any to make up for all the time I lost." Toval replied.
"Father... Toval..." Laura smiled
"Heehee… I had a feeling Vita would show up to help." Emma giggled.
"Can't pass up a chance to hog the spotlight, huh, Vita?" Celine sighed.
"Heh. Show 'em what you can do, Zero Artisan." Agate smirked.
Rean got up. "Thank you. We couldn't be more lucky to have the four of you with us. That goes for the rest of you, too. Estelle… Lloyd… Duvalie, Angelica, Sharon… Each and every one of you."
"Indeed—and with that, I hereby declare Operation Shining Steel officially underway!" Olivert said as forward his hand. "We fly tomorrow at noon! As Mille Mileage and the world serpent begin their clash!"
"We'll be rendezvousing with the rest of our allies in Mishelam later today." Muller said. "This may be the last time we're all together, so we're planning to have a small celebration of sorts. We were hoping all of you could join us."
"We will be honor to join you." Rean smiled
"Then it settled. Let us make our way to Mishelam." Olivert smiled
When we had decided this, we all gathered together at a certain location in Crossbell, and one that I was surprised but glad to know.

We arrived at Mishalem Park and with everyone's help, a massive barrier was created all around the Mishelam resort area. We then made our way to the hotel and gathered our thoughts calmly.
"I think it turned out very well. Thanks for your help, everyone." Emma said.
"It's not bad, if I say so myself, good work." Celine added.
"We should be thanking you guys. You're the ones who did the heavy lifting." Rean replied.
"I still find it pretty hard to believe you were able to make a barrier over all of Mishelam." Crow said.
Gaius nodded. "It's something that could only be accomplished through combining the witches' spells, Levi's spells, our stigmas, and the Merkabah."
"Not to mention the raw power of four Divine Knights." Thomas said.
"And then we were able to convert the Pantagruel's orbal energy into mana to sustain the barrier." Alisa added.
"Ha ha haaa! Such beautiful teamwork." Olivert praised. "If we can do something like this, the sky's the limit!"
Ash sighed. "We ain't exactly here for a team building exercise, y'know?"
"In any event, the barrier should hold. At least for tonight." Roselia said.
"It'll be able to absorb a few hits from any railway cannon shots that come our way." Vita added. "Not that we'll need to worry much about them, given they'll be busy with the war for the time being."
Jusis hummed. "I'm sure as far as the chancellor is concerned, we're simply some minor rabble, beneath his notice."
"He probably sees us as nothing more than the opening act to the Great Twilight." Kurt said.
"Which we have to stop at all cost." Venti replied
"And let's hope that we can make it in time." Cedric sighed
"Oh I know we will. And once we do. We'll show Osborne to never underestimate us." I said. "And once we do. I'll definitely give him the beating he so deserves."
"Hehe, you're not the only one who wants to beat him." Estelle's voice said.
That was when the SSS and the Bracers arrived.
"Hey there, everyone." Tita greeted.
"Good to see you, guys." Juna added.
"How are your rooms? Did you drop off all your things already?" Alisa asked.
"Yeah. Honestly, I was blown away by how ritzy this place is." Estelle replied.
"I can't believe we have it all to ourselves." Joshua said.
Lloyd chuckled. "Right? Even locals like us don't get many chances to stay here."
Tio hummed. "The last time we were here was when Mariabell invited us to a trade conference."
"Ah man...that seems like it was a hundred years ago." Randolph said.
"Thinking back, it's kind of a bittersweet memory." Elie added.
Kea smiled. "We still had a lot of fun, though."
"Looking around, we've got quite the crowd now." Machias asked.
"Yeah, and a lot of us are from Thors, too." Fie added.
"Yeah, this is our chance to finally kick back before pandemonium arrives the next day." I nodded
Schera nodded. "You're right. Tomorrow's when everything will be decided."
"Our future rests on the success of Operation Shining Steel." Alfin said.
"Though honestly, it's still a pretty dicey plan." Renne added.
"Well, we've been making a lot of dicey moves before and we're still kicking." I said.
"True that." Crow nodded
We broke off into small groups and then we begin to have a nice chat. The New Class VII and I are chatting with Alfin and Elise as we heard good news. Emperor Eugune's operation was a success. Thank Aidios. And then Patrick, Duvalie, Lianne and the others we were discussing hours ago join in. I'm surprise even my master is among them. He told us he isn't under orders or anything. He was invited by the Viscount. But we're all happy to have him. Even Estelle's father and George. Then we all begin to have a nice party as other guest shows up.

Nighttime arrived and us adults guys watch and see everyone else having fun.
"Seems everyone's still got plenty of party left in 'em" Randy smiled
"The Knight's still young, after all… plus, we got the whole park to ourselves, too." Crow added.
"That reminds me… why don't you give us a performance, Elliot, Levi?" Joshua asked
"Yeah. I've still got goosebumps from the last time I heard that violin of yours. And Levi, your singing is amazing. I couldn't help but be drawn into it."
"Now you're making me blush." I replied with a light blush smile.
"R-Really? I mean, I'd love to, but… where would we even play?" Elliot asked
"Hey, wait a minute…. where did Jusis ran off to?" Machias asked
"I believe he went to go find Millium earlier." Gaius said.
"Those two seem to be getting closer, huh?" I let out a smirked
"This is their last night together, after all…" Rean said.
"That said, don't you guys have any special someones of your own you should be spending the evening with?" Joshua asked.
"Quality guy- time is great and all, but… tonight could be the night, y'know?" Lloyd replied
As we sweatdrop. I honestly got no one…
"Joshua I get but you have one Lloyd?" I asked
"Ah, well..."
So no? And yet you told us.
"Well, I know a certain guy who's got more to think on than all of us combined." Crow said as he turn to Rean.
"Indeed…" Patrick nodded. "Rather irritating, when you put it that way."
And we all turn to Rean.
"Why are you all looking at me?" Rean ask nervously.
"Oh Rean… Absentminded as ever." I nervous smile.
"'Grats, Lloyd. You're not the most clueless guy in the room for once." Randy smirked
"I'm nowhere near as bad as him. At least I have SOME self-awareness." Lloyd scratching is hair.
"I'd say you're about the same, but... Rean does have quite a few more options." Joshua replied
"Heh. Bet that's easy for you to say, lover-boy." Crow said.
Machias coughed. "In any case, it's just as you said- this may very well be our final night."
"You, especially, will have more than a few things to make clear tonight." Gaius nodded
"Yeah. I bet you've had a ton of girls confess their love to you as it is already." Elliot added
"Er, well..." Rean trailed off.
"Either way, you won't wanna wake up tomorrow with any regrets." Crow replied
"Indeed... You should let a certain individual know how you feel." Patrick nodded "No matter where those feelings may lie."
"Patrick..." Rean trailed off. "You're right. I know what I have to do."
"Anyway, let's go enjoy whatever evening we got left." Randy advised.
"They're also keeping the stores here in the center open for us, too." Lloyd added
"Oh, before I forget: My father had something he wanted to tell you, Rean. You should go and see him when you get the chance." Joshua reminded
Huh. Wonder what that could be. And then we split up.
I begin to head to the Ferris Wheel and there I begin to have some ice cream. And then join me was Cedric and Venti. The three of us begin to have a nice conversation with each other. We begin to talk about the adventurer and school days. And how Cedric is happy his underclassman are here too. As times flies. I heard that a booze contest. I think Sara has something to do with it. Anyway, I begin to watch the contest. I see Rose, Duvalie and Aurelia on the table while Vita and Lianne.
"Ugh… I really must be getting old. This is hitting me much harder then it used to." Roselia muttered. "Perhaps this 800-year- old liver of mine has finally turned against me, after all. I'll have you know that in my prime, I would never lost to the like of you lot!"
"Aw, come on. You're just sounding like a sore loser now, Grandmother." Vita replied
"I tried to warn you Rose. But you often don't listen to what I say." Lianne sighed. "And Duvalie. Please don't think I would be disappointed of this sort. I'm concerned for your well-being as well."
As time pass by. It turn into a draw to Aurelia, Edel and Sharon. How strong is their alcohol resistance!?
After that is over. I begin to return back to the Ferris Wheel tables. Then I got a call from Rean who then told me to meet me at the Ferris Wheel. And so I begin to head over there. As we use our tickets. We begin to enter the Ferris Wheel and then look at the view.
"Wow. It's a beautiful night. And the view here is amazing as it is. If we weren't in a war phase. It would have been a wonderful night." I smiled
"Yeah. Same goes for me. I can't stop tomorrow from coming, but as long as you're here with me, Levi. I know that everything's going to work out somehow." Rean smiled
"Someone is making my heart go fluttered. But hearing that makes me happy." I chuckled and smiled. "I have been able to do so well and clear my head because of you Rean. So thanks. I definitely won't forget this."
"Me either."
"We been through a lot haven't we? Especially learning about ourselves too. Talk about a wild ride. Still… I'm glad that I was part of a class with you Rean." I smiled
"Same here Levi. I'm glad you're in Class VII too." Rean smiled
The car gently lowered to the ground when the ride ended after offering us a spectacular view. Once on the ground.

Afterward, Rean decided to walk with me. We both enjoyed the night air along with the way, stretching out the evening as long as we could. We look at the view of the beach.
"What a lovely view. Rean… thanks for inviting me out tonight. I really need to relax after the stress I've been putting up with." I smiled.
"Haha. Of course. You don't need to thank me for that Levi." Rean nervous laughed.
"Well, why not? Besides. I owe you a lot. And I didn't think I would spend time with you like this. But… I felt really happy. Really happy about this, including this very moment. Despite the circumstances we are in… I had a lot of fun with you… our school days… our adventures… back at the branch campus… helping you with your students… all of it. I'm going to cherish it forever Rean. You were always the first friend I made from Erebonia. Who turn into one of my best friends… And will always be the number one. With the two of us together. Nothing can keep us at bay." I smiled.
"Levi… You're right. But I should be thanking you for being by my side. We both have our deep secrets, a lot of states in tomorrow's battle. But that doesn't mean we have to face it alone. "Right. We're both are special people with supernatural powers. So we got to stick together, for better or worst. This is quite the life I have as well. Who knows what might happen later on in the future. But.. I do hope that we can be with everyone… and… see you more often as well."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Seriously? Do you have to ask that? Oh, Rean. You're so absent-minded at times. But that is part of your charm. I mean like in case if we retired from the branch campus. I hope we, and the rest of our friends can go somewhere fun. Together. And… Oh. We can all go to the beach together."
"That's a fine idea. I know everyone will love it." Rean smiled
Just as I was going to head elsewhere.
"Hey, Levi. There's something I wanted to talk to you about. Do you have time to chat later at someplace?"
I look surprised when he asked me that.
"Yeah, I have time. But I hope that I don't take much of your time if you got other people you needed to talk too. You can use your ARCUS if you still want to meet. I'll wait for you, k?"
"Got it!" Rean nodded.
"Oh yeah. I wanted to give you something. Here." I pulled out a Charm Necklace. It's gold with a magical radiant jewel. The jewel is infused with radiant light. Golden Crystal.
"A necklace?" Rean asked
"A charm necklace. It's proof of our unwavering bond. I call it Radiant Cairn." I smiled.
"It's beautiful Levi. Thanks." Rean smiled and take it and then wear it. "I can definitely tell this is special."
"Hehe. Thanks." I smiled.

While I was chatting with Prince Cedric. I got a call from Instructor Rean to meet up at the Haunted Villa. I begin to head over there. Once I was over there. I greeted Instructor Rean and then he and I talk about it.
"So basically, all we have to do is shoot the ghost to raise our score. Get enough points, and we win." Instructor Rean told me.
"Well, you have certainly chosen wisely Instructor." I asked with a giggle. " Sounds like a blast to me. I wanna see how scary it is."
"So-the two of you wish to brave the horrors, I see." The staff smirked. "I can only hope you manage to survive. Mwahahaha..." Then we begin to head onto the entrance to the Haunted Villa and then begin to enter the Kart. Then we both take on the controllers and then we begin to shoot some ghosts together. As the ride stars. It was getting more fun than I expected. Oooh~ How scary~ And a giant ghost cat head. Shooting slimes illusion, then ghost monsters. Hehehe~ What fun~. We end up shooting over. We scored 14300 points. Then we exit the Horrow coaster.
"Phew. Looks like we managed to hit our target goal." Instructor Rean smiled
"I had to admit. you surprise me, Instructor. Your shooting was impressive. I thought I was going to do all the work." I chuckled.
"I'm just happy you had a good time. I know I did."
"Hehe, You're always so benevolent Instructor. Still, I'm always happy to be invited. I hope that we can do something like this again."
"Glad to hear it. I'll let you know if anything else comes up."
And so after that. Instructor Rean and I begin to walk toward the center of the Castle of Mirrors.

"Thank me for what, Venti?" Instructor Rean asked
"You may be new at the job as an Instructor, but to me and the rest of us. You were the best Instructor in history. Well, that's personal to me. But also... You were the first Instructor I ever had either. I've never been to Sunday school. All the Information was planted into my head. But I've learned and gained a lot because of you. And there are things I wanted to do. To help me find my purpose and identity. I finally know what to do. And one of the things I'm going to do... is saving you, Instructor. I will get stronger to be on equal terms with my brother. Strong enough to protect everyone I cherish. Including you."
"Thank you, Venti. You have no idea how much this makes me happy. And I'm sure Levi will be happy to hear that too." Instructor Rean smile
"Yes. As the Avatar of Wind. I will give it my all." I smiled Then I seem to remember something. "Oh right. I also wanted to give you this." I pulled out a butterfly medallion.
"What's this?" Instructor Rean asked as he took my medallion.
"I crafted this special accessory for you. I call it Gale Cairn. I know this will help you. But it's up to you to wear it. Until, Instructor." I answered and then wave goodbye and then left.
(Liam's pov)
I was checking on Cedric's bonding event. And then when Rean called him to meet him at the beach. Looks like they're doing some fireworks.
"This is rather beautiful. This is my first time I ever hold a firework display. They're sparklers, right?" Cedric asked
"Yes. They're quite beautiful and relaxing, don't you think, Your Highness?" Rean asked
"Yes they are. I always wanted to go to Mishelam with my family. Although it's not complete yet. I'm having a wonderful time with all my friends here. Maybe if there was a chance. I can asked my father too-" Then the sparkles were finished. "Oh..."
"Looks like they're all burned out."
"Well, that's ashamed. But that was more fun than I expected. Let's do this again some other time!" Cedric smiled "And maybe next time. I'll invite mother and father along with Olivert and Alfin."
"I'm sure they'll be more delighted to come." Rean smiled.
And so. They begin to throw the burned-out sparkers into the trash can. Then they look at the beach.

"What for, Your Highness?" Rean asked
"Well for starters, being here with my hero, but also travel parts of Erebonia with my own eyes and save the world. I know I owe part of it to Liam, but even so. This is the first time I ever felt so alive. All my life, I was mostly in the Imperial Palace. And ever since the Vermillion Apocalypse. I thought I will never have the chance to see the outside world ever again. But thanks to you and Class VII. Along with Vita and Liam. I finally get to see the beauty of Erebonia. Although this nation will be mine one day, I will not change the person I am today. I will be like my father. A kind and loving ruler. But also, I will find a way to regain Erebonia's honor after what the chancellor and the Great Twilight has caused."
"Your Highness." Rean smiled. "I know doubt your family, friends and people will be so proud of you for that. And I swear I will do what I can to support you."
"Thank you, Instructor Rean. Let us work together to guide Erebonia back to the light. And dispel the dark clouds that haunted our home for so long." Cedric smile. Then click. "Ah, yes. Please take this."
Cedric handed Rean a Crimson medallion.
"A medallion?" Rean asked
"It's a specially crafted medallion to show our bond so to speak. I call it the Vermillion Cairn. It's like not something one should be honored to receive such a thing from royalty. It's more like a gift to a friend. It's also up to you if you want to wear it. Until then, Instructor." Cedric smiled and then walk away.

I wondered what Rean wants to talk about with me. Time began to pass as I was chatting with Millium and Jusis. We were both members of the Riding Club. We chat about the good old days and we both plan, if we are ever free, we can go horseback riding. Then I got a call from Rean and we both begin to look into the Fortune Telling. I begin to hurry to the Castle of Mirror and then met up with him. And gave the staff my ticket. Then me and Rean begin to enter. Wow. This place is magical. Then we begin to head up and we enter a hallway.
"The Castle of Mirrors. I'll be honest. When I was here. I was surprised how magical it was." I chuckled.
"It's like we've stumbled into another dimension." Rean nodded. "The staff said there's a rest spot a little further down. Let's go."
I nodded and then we begin to walk further to the hallways and then encounter stairs. It is as Rean said. It's like a whole new dimension from here. We continue to go further. Well, then we begin to arrive at the rest spot for a short break. Me and Rean begin to sit down next to each other.
"That was quite the walk we have to go through. But I don't mind since this is quite a magical building. I can see why it's popular." I replied with a smile. "Look like we're also at the end too. What should we ask about the fortune-teller?"
"Well, if this renowned psychic really is who I've heard it is…" Rean said as he close his eyes. "I might as well ask her what tomorrow has in store for me, right?"
"Rean…"
"Haha. I'm not going to take it too seriously, honestly. So, what about you?"
"Hmm…" I begin to think for a moment. "That's a good question."
And then after some moment thinking. I begin to ask what Fate has in store for me… maybe? Well, break time is over. Me and Rean got up and continue to head into the Fortune-teller's room. Once we arrived. We enter and then met a familiar face. Why am I not surprised.
"I have been waiting for you both."Beryl replied as she did her laugh. "Welcome… to the room of fate unfolding... It is nice to see you looking so well, Rean."
Rean sweatdrop. "It's good to see you, too, Beryl. I've heard stories. Levi and my students told me that you helped them out. You have my thanks."
"It was nothing. I just did as fate guided. Let us begin. What do you wish to know?"
And so we begin to sit down. Before we can explain to Berly.
"So you would like to know what will happen to you after tomorrow…" Beryl replied what Rean told her then she told to me. "And you would like to know what fate store for you if you encounter the being who brought you into this world. As well as your purpose of existence."
"How in the heck…" I blink twice. "How do you know this? Seriously!"
"Haha… Wow. Looks like you've seen through both of us." Rean replied.
"Heh heh heh, of course. Well. Shall we begin?" Beryl asked and then she begin.
Her Orb begin to glow as she does her channeling.
"Rean, there are dark clouds surrounding your fate. Clouds so dense, not even my sight can penetrate them. That does not mean, however, that your future is without hope. The key to piercing these clouds is within the special bonds between your friends- -and the power that Levi has possess. But there is also another thing."
"The bond between us? Levi's power? And What's the other thing?" Rean asked.
"Unfortunately, even I do not know what it may be… But I do know two things."
"Two?"
"Yes. Somewhere within your dark clouds. There is an invisible hand, guiding you from the dark clouds."
"An Invisible hand…"
"And it all depends on your efforts tomorrow, including whether you discover what that is."
"I'm not sure if I really understand, but I'll keep it in mind. Still… an Invisible hand…"
An invisible hand guided him… could this invisible hand be Liam? His words back in the Stella Sanctuary and back in the Specular Moon Mirror...
"And next…" Beryl turn to me. "Levi, when you encounter the being who brought you to this world. You will learn the meaning of your existence. But just like Rean, it's almost impossible to read your future. I see your star shining bright. But that light block my sight. However, I do know it will depend on you and you alone. Your fate is written by your own hand."
"By my own hand…" I trailed off as I close my eyes.
So… that means that whatever fate has in store for me… it was written by my own hand. Whatever I decide depends on what I will do… and… I will also learn about my existence from Liam himself. But… what decision should I do when we won the final Rivalry? And what will Liam say when I learn the truth of my existence? Because… that will lead an Impact on my life… my existence.
"Levi…" Rean trailed off.
I thought for a moment. I think I understand some parts. My life is my own. Whatever I will do… I will save Rean. I turn to him with a smile on my face.
"I think I understand some of it. Still, it did give me some resolve of my existence. And that resolve… is what I will do to help out not just the world, but for you Rean."
"Thank you, Levi. Whatever the truth of your existence, I will always be by your side. I know we can do this together." Rean nodded as he smile.
Beryl then let out her laughed. "I pray fortune smiles upon you. Until we meet again."
Soon we left the Castle of Mirrors and then be off our way. A begin to enjoy some view of the beach. And then Rean ask me out to make some cocktails. And we handed over our ticket.
"All right, I brought a lot of ingredients for us to choose from. So now we've just got to figure out where to start." Rean said.
"Hehe. Sounds good. This will be my first time experiencing and making this sort of thing. Wonder what kind of drink I can make." I smiled.
"Feel welcome to use the ingredients we have on hand, too. I can't wait to try your concoction." The staff said.
And so me and Rean begin to make some cocktails. We settled on which ingredients would complement the drink best though trails and error. Making cocktails is something new after all… soon after a while. Our creation was complete. I pour the cocktail into the cocktail glass. It is a colorful cocktail of Blue and purple with red apple slice.
"And there we go! I will call it, the Celestial Apple" I smiled
"The apple has a nice touch. A star-like cocktail. It looks beautiful like the night sky." Rean remarked. "The smell is really refreshing, almost magical with an apple slice to it.
"I know right? The apple is a nice snack to the sweet balance the juiciness. The taste itself looks starry and sweet but it will take you out of this world. The drink itself is as magical as you relax into the night sky where the stars shine. Where you can relax and stargaze. Who would had guess fruits would make such a refine starry drink, right?"
"I'll say. Just staring at it just gives curiosity."
"I really like what you've done here." Said the staff who is happy and surprised. "It's really unique! In fact, I think I'll add it to our menu. Why don't you enjoy a glass together on that bench? Enjoy the rest of your evening!"
Me and Rean nodded and then we begin to grab our cocktail and then we sit down, stargazing and then we begin to cheer and then begin to take a sip. Whoa. It really is balance the sweet but also magical as the stars itself! I really created a nice masterpiece. Me and Rean smiled at each other. After we finish the cocktail. We return it to the Mishelam lake beach the glass. And then soon be on our way.
As time flies.
Then I witness Rean is having his Eight Leaves One Blade trial. And he has completed his trial. Rean became a Divine Blade. Millium thinks the title of Divine Blade of Zero it's nice. I think so too.
As a few minutes of congratulations goes by and we resume our little party. I notice Rean was heading to the Marshland. I begin to follow him. But then I sense another presence.

I hide and then see him and…. Claire… and… her new outfit? I eavesdropped on the conversation. During the conversation. I saw Claire pull her Orbal Gun.
And then Rean place his sword on the ground. Yet… something else is going on. Rean said something about… he still hasn't given up on her… I guess that means he still has faith in her. And said that nobody bears a grudge against her. Not him, Millium, Altina, Juna… even me. And everyone in Class VII, even Sara will be happy to have her by our side. That we still care for her and never give up on her.
"Stop it! How can you be so cruel?! I… I stood by and let Millium die! I'm still going along with the Great Twilight! You know that's a lie about Levi! He of all people wanted me dead! Why can't you hate me just like he already has?! I deserve to die after what I have done! So don't you dare forgive me! Because Levi will never forgive me!"
"Come on now, Claire. You know that isn't fair." Millium then appeared which shocked Claire.

Millium seem to join in the fun of talking. And then even said about I help her gain an form of projection. Millium thought that Liam told her that she lives on in the sword. And she needs to work on her social skills. And then I see Claire tears coming out. Even pointed how she won't make the same mistake again. Even after what happened, she's still an Ironblood. And tomorrow is where we will settle the score. With her, Lechter, Rufus and Osborne. We'll get through to them. Even after what's happened. Claire returns Rean's tachi back with him. I begin to leave.

The celebration is going to be over soon. I begin to wonder again. And there I see Venti with Prince Cedric chatting for a bit in the restaurant.
"Oh hey, you two." I called out to them as I walk over to them.
"Ah, brother." Venti smiled.
"Hello Levi. How are you doing today?" Cedric asked
"Very well for the time being. I had a lot of blast all over Mishalium." I answered as I smiled.
"You too, huh? So where did you wander into?" Venti asked as he move over, allowing me to sit next to him.
"Well, I enter the ferry wheel with Rean and we talk how amazing the view is."
"You too?"
"He taken you as well?"
"Not just you two. But to me as well. Seems like he is spending time with all of us." Prince Cedric replied.
"That's our Rean." I chuckled.
"Oh, the next thing is we went to the beach and we share a drink with new beverages we made together called Anemo Cecile." Venti cooed
"Really? I made beverages with Rean too. Waaaait… yours wasn't alcohol, was it?"
"Sadly no."
"Sadly?!"
Cedric sweatdrop with a nervous laugh. "Venti, you're young to be drinking alcohol beverages. I'm sure Instructor knows that for a fact."
"I know, I know. But someday I will eventually drink one with Ash. Anyway, it's a very refreshing juice color green."
"Mine was like starry design with some nice fruits with it." I giggled.
"Ooh talking about those drinks just makes me want to do the same thing you two have done." Cedric sighed. "Well, did Rean take you both for sparkling?"
"Sparking? No, but I wanted to try actually."
"I have. It was fun. But sadly. It went out. All's well and ends well." Venti replied.
"Yes. He has been spending time with everyone it seems." Cedric replied.
"Yeah. And it's almost time before the sea lanterns begin." I nodded. Then I heard my ARCUS ll ringing. And then I pick up. "Levi speaking."
"Hey, Levi." Rean respond.
"Oh hey Rean. What's up?"
"Do you think we can meet up at the beach by the bench near the palm tree?"
Oh. Guess it's time that Rean wanted to talk to me about something.
"Yeah, sure. I'll be there."
"Great. Meet you there."
And then he hang up and then I got up.
"Was that Instructor Rean?" Venti asked
"Yeah. He ask me to meet him in the beach. I'll get going. Later you two." I respond with a smile and wink and then head there.
(Liam's POV)
I watch Levi leaving his little brother and Cedric as he head to the beach.
"Meet him at the beach.. but for what exactly?" Prince Cedric wondered
"I'm curious too. The lanterns are beginning to light up soon. Tonight is a special night." Venti nodded
"Right. And on this special night, you can spend it with your friends or with your family. Or with both. But when it comes to romantic love life. This is the perfect chance to be with that someone, or even ask them out. Sadly, the two of us don't have one it seems."
"Sadly, that is true. We don't have someone we want to be with. Some are already taken or spend with their friends or family. Hmm… maybe I can hang out with Altina."
"The Black Rabbit? Ah, as in perhaps asking her out?"
"Hehe. Who knows." Venti chuckled. "She really is cute. Perhaps I should ask Altina out. Oh wait… but that would leave you alone."
"Oh, it's fine Venti. I'll find one eventually. I might as well be with Alfin and my brother. I wish I can have that experience my father had."
"I'm sure you will. While speaking of asking out. Could Instructor Rean ask my brother to meet him at the beach because of some guy time? Or…"
"Or what?"
Venti think for a moment then click. "Or perhaps… with this night… And knowing they're really close… and that little joke awhile back…" Then Venti let out a smirk. Venti then giggled and smile as Cedric look confused. "So… it might be that, huh?"

I arrived at the meeting place and Rean hasn't arrived yet… As I waited. I was looking at the beautiful night scene. It truly is a wonderful view. The night sky, the floating lanterns in the water as the sound of waves from the beach. And viewing it all from this bench. It's nice. Makes me wonder why Rean wish to meet me here.
"Levi!"
I heard Rean's voice and I turn around and I see Rean.
"Hey Rean, where's the fire?" I asked with a little joke.
"Sorry, did I look like I was in a rush? I wasn't sure if you come."
"No worries. You weren't in a rush. I was the one who got here in a hurry like you were. So sorry about that. While I was waiting, I was admiring the view here." I replied and then he and I look at the lanterns in the water. "This is quite the spot, don't you think? Seeing the lanterns in the water glowing in the night. Almost sounds like a perfect place to take someone on a date."
"Yeah, it does." Rean replied as he scratch his cheeks.
I realized what he said. "Oh, sorry. That came out of nowhere."
"I wouldn't blame you for thinking that. It is as it looks. I'm sure many couples are formed here or a perfect place for a family get together."
"True. Still... It really is a wonderful night. I wish… It could have been more peaceful like this. Enjoying life and the scenery. We encounter many breathtaking scenes all over the Empire, right? And some in Crossbell. The world is a big place. And yet I only know a small part of it. This truly takes me back. Back during my shelter life… and our school life."
"Hehe. You're right about that. We only know a small part of the world. Still though. I remember all the adventures we did back as students and even now. Our first field study, the school festival, journey together like we did in the Civil war. And our friends. I want to hold on to those memories as they are so dear to me. Do you remember what you said to me when we were visiting Laura's hometown?"
"Hmm… Oh, about your powers as your burden?" I asked
"Yeah. What you said to me back then, it felt warm. Almost like I wasn't alone. You're always there to support me. You help me out a bunch of times when my mind wasn't clear. And even now. You're doing everything you can to help me. You know that I'm the Sacrifice. There's no telling what might happen in tomorrow's battle. It wracks me with guilt to know who many people will lose their lives because of me. It's too late to deny it now. But under no circumstances does that mean I'll ever abandon hope. Because I know tomorrow, I'll have someone dependable by my side. Someone more precious to me than any other. You have always been there for me too. Honestly… just thinking about losing you hurts me so much."
"I know the feeling." I close my eyes as I look sad. "I was thinking the same to you… when you were taken away… my heart… it just… stopped. I felt powerless for the first time… and… it scares me… I don't blame you for thinking that way because of the war… but… it is not your fault Rean. It's no one fault but the curse… Or rather, Ishmelga. I really hate Ishmelga. I won't forgive him for what he has done. Because of him… Erebonia… the Curse… innocents people being used by him, all of what we've learned from this war. Including my identity and your background too. I will never forgive him. And he will pay. And… I wanted to free you Rean. Free you from this cruel fate… and free you from this curse by the Ebon Knight. And save Erebonia with it."
"Yeah… I want to save Erebonia as well. I wanted to save many lives that was brought into this war caused by the Ebon Knight. But even so… I don't want to risk losing you… and I wanted to talk to you… to thank you and… to tell you something too. You might find this surprising… since we're both guys." Rean respond as he close his eyes.
" 'Since we're both guys?' What do you mean?"
Rean open his eyes as I notice his cheeks are blushing and then look at me. "I love you, Levi."
I skip of beat and I look completely surprised… Rean… loves me?
"And I don't mean as a friend. I mean as a person. Of one's heart belonging to the other. I honestly have been harboring feelings for you for awhile. All the times we spent together back in our school days, the civil war, and now. All of your warmth and comfort, it never go away when you're by my side. And remembering those words you said to me back at the workshop… that you love me… I couldn't be happier than I already am. And I'm proud of my feelings for you, Levi. You're more than just a brother-in-arm. I want to be with you and be by your side, Now and forever. I love you, Levi."
I was completely speechless and then I felt butterflies in my stomach. This emotion within my heart…
"Rean… I…" I was happy and I'm completely tongue-tied at the moment. Then I touch my chest as I close my eyes as I blushed. "Um… before I can reply… why me? We're both guys and there's nothing wrong with two men being in a romantic relationship but why me? I'm like an empty person, I don't know much about these kinds of things and learn from stories and never experience them in person… I'm done some teasing to you and the others but… I'm just a construct and… there's even blood in my hands of all the enemies I killed. I have done some horrible things and yet…"
"Even if there is blood on your hands. I don't care how much you spill. Whether as the Arbiter, a jaeger, or an assassin. Even if you have to kill so many foes. I know you Levi. Well enough that even that you don't want to takes the lives of your enemies, or won't forgive them for all the trouble they have brought. You follow your own heart and your own choice. "Rean…" I smiled with my cheeks are red. My heart was beating fast. I touch my chest and now I understand… I… I was in love with Rean. All the moments we spent together… it was my feelings telling me that… I was in love with him. "Oh geez… so cheesy with those speeches… yet that's what I also love about you. I also love you too, Rean. I've been wondering about my feelings. And it turns out… I love you too. Not as a friend. But as a person too. Of one heart to another. You mean so much to me Rean… I… I'm really happy that you feel the same way. I guess they have been building up ever since the first day we met. "Me too Levi. Thank you for returning your feelings back to me." Rean smiled as he got closer to me and then place his hands on my waist.
I did the same as we both closed our eyes as our faces got closer. Then our lips touch. It was warm… I felt butterflies on my stomach… I'm… I'm in love with him. And I'm… melting into his arm, right now. So… this is a kiss. It's so warm. Then we heard fireworks fire into the sky as we kiss. Rean and I ended our kiss as we look together at the fireworks and lanterns rise into the sky in each other's arms.
"Wow… I never thought something like this would happen to me. I'm so happy that it did. It's romantic, don't you think?" I asked with a smile on my face.
"It really is. They really went all out, huh?" Rean smiled
"They sure have."
"I guess the two of us really are meant to be together. Since our fates are intertwined." Rean blushed and smile
"Yeah… we're both light and the dark. I'm sure the others will definitely be surprised by this. And knowing how many girls might have fallen for you." I scratch my cheeks. "But I know they'll understand."
"Yeah."
"So Rean… mind if I stay with you tonight?" I asked as I place my warm hands on his cheeks and place my forehead on his forehead.
Rean blushed and then smiled. "Of course. The whole night though. Until dawn breaks."
"Until dawn huh?" I couldn't help but chuckle.
Then I wrap my arms around Rean's neck and kiss him and he kiss me back. I felt more warm and butterflies . Soon… I felt like our kiss is getting hotter. We parted lips and then we kiss again. I moaned. My heart's beating like crazy. I want to kiss him more. So this is how a person kiss the person you love… now I understand in those romance stories… kisses feel so good. So soft… and warm… and the distance between us shrinks to nothing. Everything… feels so good.
Rean parted his lips from me as we look at each other as we made it official. We're boyfriends or lovers now.
"Shall we… continue this in my room? I wanted to… hold you more…" Rean asked as he blush and smile.
"Yeah…" I smiled as I blushed. Then we begin to hold hands and headed to Rean's room.
(Liam's POV)
I was watching from my Astral Circle and oh my god… this is… so romantic… I wasn't expecting this! So Rean and my Avatar are lovers now. I'm so happy for him! So they're going to spend the night together, huh? Oh lala~
(Levi's pov)
Me and Rean relocated in Rean's room in the hotel. We close and lock his door. And then we begin to kiss again. His warm hand place on the back of my head. We continue our sweet kiss. His breath and my breath… And then we ended our kiss as Rean gentle placing me in his bed and then… he was on top of me. Seeing from my view… he's so hot. He lend closer and kiss my lips again as I moaned. I wrap my arms around his neck. And Rean's arms were wrapped around me. We continue to feel each other. Slowly bit by bit. Rean ended the kiss and then he suddenly remove his shirt, which was hot. I begin to take off my shirt too. And then untied my ponytail. And then we kiss again as we wrap each others arms.
WOOOHOOO! A special night indeed! It's now official. Rean and Levi are a couple! Hey, don't judge! They (And I mean me since this is my story) are free to choose they want to be in a romantic relationship, regardless of gender. I'm sure Erebonia or any other nation doesn't have problems with same-sex relationships. I mean look at Angelica and Shirley. They're lesbian.
