Charlie, his dad, the Mane 5 and their friends were in the city. Charlie looked surprised when he saw the big buildings and all the Pegasi flying in the sky.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Zephyr Heights!
Charlie looked confused and turned to Zipp Storm.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Wait a minute. Zipp, wasn't that elevator supposed to take us to the Royal Palace?
ZIPP STORM:
Oh, that's the second elevator on the other side of the mountain.
Izzy Moonbow looked at Sunny Starscout.
IZZY MOONBOW:
That's the one we took during our first adventure, Sunny.
Malcolm was thinking.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
So, that elevator took us the city. So, where is the Royal Palace?
ZIPP STORM:
Follow me. I know the way.
Charlie and his friends and family followed Zipp Storm. Grubber spotted a cake shop and happily ran towards it. Then he looked at the big chocolate cake tower in the window, while drooling with delight.
GRUBBER:
Wow! Chocolate cake tower! With white chocolate icing!
Tempest Shadow whispered firmly to Grubber.
TEMPEST SHADOW (Whispering):
Grubber, get over here!
Grubber tried to walk away, but he couldn't resist looking at the big chocolate cake tower.
GRUBBER:
You gonna have to help me, Tempest.
Tempest Shadow walked towards Grubber, grabbed his shirt by her teeth and dragged him away from the cake shop.
GRUBBER:
Thank you.
Tempest Shadow and Grubber regrouped with their friends, and let go of Grubber's shirt.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
You need to control your stomach.
GRUBBER:
I'm trying.
Pipp Petals was setting up her smartphone, then she turned to Charlie.
PIPP PETALS:
Charlie, before I start filming you, I would like to know what you are.
Charlie looked confused.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I'm a humacorn.
PIPP PETALS:
No, I meant from your dancing and singing.
Charlie realized what Pipp Petals was talking about.
CHARLIE CARVETT EQUESTRIAN:
Oh, I see. I'm an Equestrian Moonwalker.
Pipp Petals looked surprised.
PIPP PETALS:
Equestrian Moonwalker. That explains why you walk backwards. All right! Let's do it!
Pipp Petals turned the camera on from her smartphone and connected to the big T.V screen on the big building. Pipp Petals pointed her phone to herself and started recording. All the Pegasi were watching the big T.V screen.
PIPP PETALS:
Attention, Pippsqueaks! I have a special surprise for you! Allow me to introduce the mysterious creature, the grandson of the legendary humacorn, Carvette Equestrian, Charlie the Equestrian Moonwalker!
Pipp Petals pointed her smartphone at Charlie and all the Pegasi looked surprised. The music started playing, then Charlie started dancing like Michael Jackson and sang Hollwood Tonight by Michael Jackson.
(Musical Sequence)
All the Pegasi took out their phones and started recording Charlie's terrific performance. Princess Skystar looked bashful while she saw Charlie dancing. After the song ended, all the Pegasi, the Mane 5 and the others applauded Charlie. A little Pegasus ran up to Charlie and hugged him.
SOLOMON (Pegasus Form):
Apple Charlie! Apple Charlie! You dance like Michael Jackson! And Cadance told me you and grandpa will come to Zephyr Heights and they were right! Happy Birthday!
Charlie looked happy, but confused.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Uh, thank you.
The little Pegasus's mum walked up to her son dragged him away from Charlie gently.
JEWEL CRYSTAL (Pegasus Form):
Son, will you please give him some space.
The little Pegasus's mum turned to Charlie.
JEWEL CRYSTAL (Pegasus Form):
I'm sorry. My son gets over excited when he sees a... humacorn.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Oh, don't worry. I know now what it feels like to be a celebrity.
The little Pegasus's mum smiled.
JEWEL CRYSTAL (Pegasus Form):
Well, I hope your script makes it someday.
Charlie looked surprised as he saw the little Pegasus and his mum walk away. The little Pegasus's mum whispered to her son.
JEWEL CRYSTAL (Pegasus Form) (Whispering):
Sol, we can't be discovered by your uncle yet.
SOLOMON (Pegasus Form):
Sorry, Mummy.
After the little Pegasus and his mum left, Charlie looked confused.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Apple Charlie? It can't be him. Can it?
The Mane 5, Malcolm, Princess Skystar, Tempest Shadow and Grubber walked up to Charlie.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Charlie!
Charlie shook his head and turned to his friends and family.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Uh, yes, Sunny?
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
That was a brilliant performance!
PIPP PETALS:
Yeah! Thanks to you, my new video has more likes and better comments than my last one!
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Like your Clip Trot video?
Pipp Petals looked surprised.
PIPP PETALS:
How'd you know that?
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
It's okay, Pipp. I'll explain about it later.
Princess Skystar ran towards Charlie and happily hugged him.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
Oh, Charlie! You were amazing! It's like you're walking on the moon!
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
That's why it's called The Moonwalk.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
At least everypony liked your performance, Charlie Boy.
Zipp Storm looked amazed.
ZIPP STORM:
Charlie Boy? That's sounds way cool!
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Don't even think about it, Zipp.
IZZY MOONBOW:
Think about what?
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Exactly!
Malcolm burst out laughing.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN (laughing):
Ha, ha, ha, ha! That never gets old!
Izzy Moonbow looked confused.
IZZY MOONBOW:
What never gets old?
Charlie rolled his eyes.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Never mind. Never mind. It will take me a long time to explain that joke.
Izzy Moonbow surprisingly understood what Charlie said.
IZZY MOONBOW:
Oh, I get it! It's an old joke! A classic joke!
Izzy Moonbow laughed out loud, until two Pegasus guards flew to the city and landed on the floor. They walked towards Charlie, and his friends and family.
PEGASUS GUARD #1:
Excuse me. Are you Charlie, the humacorn?
Charlie turned around and saw the guards.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Yeah, that's me.
PEGASUS GUARD #2:
Queen Haven is excepting you at the palace. Follow us, please.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Okay. Well, guys. Let's go see the Queen.
Charlie, his friends and family followed the two Pegasus guards.
Location: The Royal Palace
Area: The Hall/Throne Room
Charlie and the others were following the guards into the hall.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
So, Zipp. You and Pipp have move back to your mum's?
ZIPP STORM:
Nah. We're still living at Maretime Bay. We only came here to visit.
PIPP PETALS:
Yesterday, our mum was normal, but today, she is... weird.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
What kind of weird?
PIPP PETALS:
I don't know. Just weird.
ZIPP STORM:
She called me Zippy, instead of Zephyrina. That's when I found out something's off.
Tempest Shadow took a big sniff and looked suspicious.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
Something doesn't smell right.
Grubber took a sniff of his armpits.
GRUBBER:
Well, I didn't do much exercise.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
Not you, Grubber. It's just... I recognise that smell and it's getting stronger when we're getting closer.
The two Pegasus guards opened the big door, then Charlie, his friends and family entered the throne room. Queen Chrysalis who is now in Queen Haven's form was sitting on her throne eating a pear. Then she quickly threw the pear away and got into her act when she saw Charlie, his friends and family.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
Ah, Zippy! Pipp! How's my lovely daughters?
ZIPP STORM:
We're fine, Mum.
Pipp Petals looked a little worried.
PIPP PETALS:
Yeah, we're both fine.
Queen Chrysalis looked at Charlie.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
And who's is this handsome creature?
Malcolm thought she was looking at him.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
Well, my name is Malcolm and I'm...
Queen Chrysalis interrupted Malcolm.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
I wasn't looking at you.
Malcolm didn't look happy and Charlie realized that Queen Chrysalis was looking at him.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Your Majesty. My name is Charlie Carvette Equestrian and I'm a humacorn and the grandson of Carvette Equestrian.
Queen Chrysalis pretended to look surprised.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
You're the grandson of the legendary humacorn? But where's your wings and your horn, and your pony ears?
Charlie took his hat off and magically transformed into a humacorn.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
What do you think?
Queen Chrysalis took a good look at Charlie.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
You look so gorgeous, handsome and so full of love.
Charlie looked confused.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
What?
Queen Chrysalis shook her head and smiled.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
Never mind! Never mind! What I meant to say is that it is an honour to meet you. I only heard your grandfather's stories were just a myth. But now I've met you, I realized it's all true.
Sunny Starscout turned to Zipp Storm and Pipp Petals.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Guys, I think you've overreacting. Your mum's behaving normally.
Pipp Petals whispered to Sunny Starscout.
PIPP PETALS (Whispering):
Wait till you see her eyes.
Queen Chrysalis continued talking to Charlie.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
I've seen your performance on the T.V screen today and I love it. So, I was wondering if you can do that again tonight.
Charlie was thinking.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Well, I suppose I can do that. But I have to sing a different Michael Jackson song.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
I don't know who he is, but I'm sure it will be lovely. After that, I would love for you to join me for dinner.
Princess Skystar looked surprised.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
Dinner?
Charlie was thinking again.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Hmm. A dinner date with Queen Haven.
Princess Skystar looked worried and looked at Queen Chrysalis.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
Uh, Your Majesty. I don't think Charlie should...
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I love to.
Princess Skystar looked shocked at Charlie.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
What?!
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I mean it is my birthday today. I'll try something new for once.
Queen Chrysalis pretended to be happy and embraced Charlie.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
Happy birthday, Charlie. I'm glad you agreed with me. I promise I'll make your birthday perfect that you'll never want to leave. Ever.
Tempest Shadow looked surprised when she saw Queen Chrysalis' eyes glowing green. Princess Skystar looked angry when she saw Queen Chrysalis embracing Charlie. Princess Skystar was about to attack Queen Chrysalis, until Tempest Shadow, Sunny Starscout and Malcolm restrained her.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
Skystar, no! This isn't the right moment!
Sunny Starscout turned to Queen Chrysalis, while she was restraining Princess Skystar.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
I'm sorry, Your Majesty. This Hippogriff is a little cranky from all the walking. But we will calm her down. Everypony, let's take her to the hall.
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
Come on, Skystar. Let's go.
Everyone except Charlie and Queen Chrysalis dragged Princess Skystar and left the throne room. Queen Chrysalis pretended to look confused.
QUEEN CHRYSALIS (Queen Haven's Voice):
What is wrong with this hippogriff?
Charlie was wondering.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I don't know.
In the hall, Tempest Shadow, Sunny Starscout and Malcolm let go of Princess Skystar, who was still angry.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR (Angrily):
Why did you do that?! Queen Haven is stealing my boyfriend!
Tempest Shadow calmed Princess Skystar down.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
Skystar, calm down! That is not Queen Haven. That is a Changeling.
Everyone looked surprised.
GRUBBER:
A Changeling?! The creatures who absorb everyone's love?! I thought all of them reformed by embracing the love.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
Not all of them. Only one refused and she wanted revenge. And that is Chrysalis.
Everyone gasped.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Queen Chrysalis?
IZZY MOONBOW:
Who's Queen Chrysalis?
MALCOLM EQUESTRIAN:
She's an evil Changeling, who can disguise herself into any living creature and feeds on everyone's love. That's what my son said to me.
PIPP PETALS:
So, what are you saying? That thing is not our mum? But Queen Chrysalis?
ZIPP STORM:
I knew something was off.
Grubber turned to Tempest Shadow.
GRUBBER:
Tempest, did Princess Twilight tell you about her?
TEMPEST SHADOW:
No. I met Chrysalis when she was an ursa minor.
Grubber looked surprised.
GRUBBER:
What?
TEMPEST SHADOW:
After she broke off my horn, I saw her eyes glowing green. That's when I found out she is a changeling.
Tempest Shadow looked angry.
TEMEPST SHADOW:
She ruined my life before I worked with the Storm Queen. And now, I'm gonna ruin hers.
Princess Skystar felt sorry for Tempest Shadow, while she looked worried.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
I'm sorry she ruined your life, Tempest. But what about Charlie?
ZIPP STORM:
And mum?
Tempest Shadow shook her head.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
Oh, yeah. Sorry. Gather round, everypony.
Everyone huddled up with Tempest Shadow.
TEMPEST SHADOW:
No pony knows Chrysalis is here. Here's what we gonna do. We go along with her charade, and when Charlie starts his performance, we'll sneak out, find and rescue Queen Haven.
PIPP PETALS:
But how are we gonna find her?
TEMPEST SHADOW:
She's probably somewhere in the palace. Once we find her, everypony will know that Queen Chrysalis is an imposter. And we'll save Charlie.
Princess Skystar smiled, while everyone liked Tempest Shadow's plan.
HITCH TRAILBLAZER:
That's a great plan, Tempest!
ZIPP STORM:
What do you think, Pipp?
PIPP PETALS:
Well, if we don't wanna ruin Charlie's birthday, I'll do it.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Well, what are we waiting for!
Everyone exchanged their hooves, hands and claws.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
We'll do our part.
EVERYONE:
Hoof to Heart!
