Was watching an episode with my mom and she commented on something that happened and then this idea popped into my head. So enjoy if anyone still reads Five-O anymore. :)

Danny started to open his eyes, head pounding making his blue eyes water. He tried to lift his right arm to rub his forehead but fingers thumped on something hard stopping his effort. Opening his eyes all he saw was pitch black. Running his hands over his pockets hoping he had his phone with him since a light would be so helpful at the moment. He whispered to himself as he came up empty his elbows bumping into what felt like wood just a few inches away from his body. Panic starting to course though his body as he realized he could barely move. His knees thumped against the hard surface as he tried to use them.

"Help!" He screamed hoping someone would hear him and open whatever it is he was in. His heart started to race faster making his chest hurt and thumped in his ears. He moved his forearms near his face the palms of his hands resting on the wood a foot away from his face. Taking as deep of a breath as he could he pushed hoping it would give way. "AHH!"

With his voice shaking he yelled in frustration as he tried with all his strength to push the box open. He could feel the beads of sweat rolling down the sides of his head and face as his arms started to burn from the useless effort.

"Come on damn it!" He yelled as his fist balled up and he banged on the wood fear creeping up on him. He felt splinters dig into his hands. "Please!" He begged as the air hitched in his throat causing him to have a coughing fit. His back started to hurt now, he felt like he was laying on his kitchen floor.

'This must be a dream.' He told himself as he dug his nails into the palm of his hand as hard as he could. 'Wake up Danny.' He blinked a couple times hoping he would suddenly be in his own bed. But everything was still pitch black. His heart still raced as his stomach started to flip making him nauseous. For a moment he forgot he was in a box as he tried to sit up, his head smacked on the wood causing his head to smack back down.

He wanted to grab his head as the pain in it was getting worse, but his hands brushed against the wood causing the panic within him to worsen. It suddenly became hard to breath and his body felt cold sending shivers down his body. His hands started to shake as his body started to go into shock. The air felt so thin his lungs not getting enough air. His chest hurt like hell, with every beat of his heart it felt like a bat was being slammed into it.

Danny wished he wasn't so claustrophobic. His worse fears had come to life. Most of the time he had a choice on if he wanted to be put in a closed space, knowing he could get out. He closed his eyes thinking about Grace, just the other day he went to her school to see her play baseball. He loved the fact that she seemed to love baseball as much as him. Smiling to himself, he replayed the events from yesterday in his head hopping it would calm him down and bring him some peace.

Suddenly the bottom part of his leg felt wet bringing him out of his stupor. "No way." He said to himself as he wiggled his leg. The sudden cold of it sent a shiver up his spine. He tried to put it in the back of his mind as he put his focus back on his thoughts. He started to cheer as his little girl hit that ball and made a home run. 'That's my girl!' He yelled proudly for the world to hear.

His other leg was now wet along with his back breaking his focus. His eyes flew open as his hands started to feel the smooth wood he was laying on. A puddle was forming under him. "Come on." He said to himself.

The puddle started to grow too fast for Danny's liking, the back of his head wet now along with everything else. "Great, not only am I going to die from a heart attack because my body wants to freak out but I'm going to drown too!" Too bad he was alone, if Steve were here, he'd already have them out of this mess. "Find me Steve, if anyone can it's you. Come on buddy, I'll buy you dinner when you do." He tried to turn over but couldn't because he was too stocky. The water was cold, and he shivered. It smelled of wet earth.

The water was now to his ears, Danny lifted his head as much as the box would allow. "Somebody help me!" He screamed, water splashing in his mouth causing panic to overtake his body. "Please!" The water seemed to be rising as fast as his breathing. He was going to have nightmares about this for the rest of his life.

Steve jumped out of his truck holding a shovel, running toward the old graveyard. Chin on his heels. Within seconds both were soaking wet caused by the awful weather. It started to rain a bit ago and every minute that passed the rain came down harder. No one could walk anywhere without stepping in puddles, the roads flooding. Steve took out his flashlight as he started to run looking at every grave he passed looking for fresh placed dirt. Steve's heart was in his stomach as he prayed it wasn't too late for his friend. Even though he would not admit it he was scared to death at the thought of what he might find when he found his partner.

Chin was doing the same as he thought back wondering how Steve managed to get the guy to tell him where Danny was in under five minutes. He had to be careful not to trip on broken headstones and tree roots. Where are you Danny. He had water running in his eyes, and he was chilled from his wet clothes. He jumped over a bush, and he kept looking left and right. He saw a fresh turned grave and stopped. He moved over to it. But there was a bunch of flowers and a coffin sitting there, next to a pile of wet dirt. He didn't think that was it.

"Steve! Over here." He had to be sure it wasn't Danny. Steve rushed over, and ran over to the coffin, he began to bang on it, calling out hoping Danny could hear him over the rain pounding on the coffin. "Danny, can you hear me? Danny!" He was working on the screws as he yelled.

Chin could hear water pouring somewhere close. Standing up he walked about ten feet to where the ground was dipped in one spot at the edge of where he was standing. Looking down he saw a spot that was just a fresh muddy mound, water was pouring off where he was standing. Leaving Steve behind to check it out he jumped down his feet sinking in the mud.

He bent down on one knee and began to dig in the heavy mud with his small shovel. "Danny! Can you hear me? Bang on the lid if you can."

Steve had opened the coffin and stepped back before closing it knowing it was a decoy. "He's not here Chin!" Steve yelled panic in his voice as he looked over to where Chin was. "Chin?" He yelled over the sound of the rain hitting the ground.

Chin got his face down towards the mud his eyes closed as he listened. First he heard nothing, then he heard a faint bang and then another one from the grave. He smiled to himself as he began to dig faster. "Steve! Over here!" He yelled relief sneaking up on him at the sounds of his friend still alive. "I found him!"

Steve rushed over almost falling over a rock and over the edge in a hurry to save his friend. He leaned over, shovel in hand he began to dig at the mud tossing over and over. It felt like forever before hit something. He had dug down 2 feet and he began to use his hands and Chin helped, the water trying to fill what they had dug out. "Danny! Can you hear me, I'm here buddy!"

Chin saw the wild look in his bosses eyes as he uncovered the half of the soaking wet wooden coffin, Steve pulled on the latches cutting his hands as they slipped in his hurry. The lid was pulled up water splashing up. Looking down Steve's heart sunk as he saw a pale Danny laying there unmoving water all around him eyes closed mouth ajar.

"No! Danny, don't you dare do this." Steve grabbed him by the collar with both hands, lifting him giving him a shake. "Wake up, that's an order!" Steve started to panic as Danny's head rolled back unmoving.
