The next morning, Charlie was in the guest room sleeping peacefully on his bed. Then Solomon burst into the room and woke his uncle up with excitement.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL (Excitedly):
Wake up, Apple Charlie! Wake up! Wake up!
Charlie woke up, yawned and saw Solomon, while looking tired.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
What is it, Sol?
SOLOMON CRYSTAL (Excitedly):
You gotta come with me to the throne room! There's gonna be a storm!
Charlie looked shocked.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
A storm?!
SOLOMON CRYSTAL (Excitedly):
Yeah, come on!
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
No, Sol! Don't!
Solomon quickly left the guest room, while Charlie grabbed his sword and followed him.
Area: The Hall/Throne Room
Charlie ran into the hall, quickly opened the door and entered the throne room that was filled with party decorations, party food, a chocolate tower cake and all the ponies including, the Pegasi, the Mane 5, Captain Celaeno and her pirate crew, Capper, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and Charlie's family and friends. Everybody surprised Charlie.
EVERYBODY:
SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHARLIE!
Charlie looked surprised and confused.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
But it's not my birthday anymore. What's going on?
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna smiled and walked up to Charlie.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
We know your birthday was yesterday, Charlie, but when Cadance called us...
PRINCESS LUNA:
We decided to throw you a party for saving and protecting Zephyr Heights from Chrysalis.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
A party? But Sol told me there's gonna be a storm.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
I did. A storm full of My Little Pony characters, including the movie characters.
Sunny Starscout looked surprised at her cousin.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
You didn't really think that Solomon was talking about the storm creatures, did you?
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Yes, I did!
Starlight Glimmer magically appeared next to Charlie.
STARLIGHT GLIMMER:
Looks like your nephew gave you a wakeup call.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Yeah, and you can see I'm wide awake, Starlight.
ZIPP STORM:
So, you like the way we threw you a party?
Charlie looked around the room and smiled.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
It's perfect. Everything's perfect.
PIPP PETALS:
You think so?
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I couldn't have done it better myself. Let's party, everypony!
All the Pegasi, Charlie's friends and family cheered for him. While everyone was having fun, Zipp Storm and Captain Celaeno were at the food table talking to each other.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
So, Zipp. You're the future queen of Zephyr Heights.
ZIPP STORM:
Yeah, but I'm not ready to be queen. I keep telling my mum that and she always waiting for my decision. All I want to do is keep flying, doing crazy stunts, being awesome and be alongside my friends and my sister.
Captain Celaeno smiled and chuckled.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
You remind me of Rainbow Dash. She likes being awesome.
ZIPP STORM:
Oh, and I also have a passion for science.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
Really? Princess Twilight has that too.
Zipp Storm looked surprised.
ZIPP STORM:
What?! The Princess of Friendship loves science?!
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
Yeah. She always reading books and she calculates everything she sees. It did help a lot of ponies, until the Storm Queen came back.
ZIPP STORM:
I see. So Celaeno. What was the last thing you and Rainbow Dash did before the Storm Queen's returned?
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
It was ten years ago... Well, a thousand years ago, me and Dash stopped the Guardians of Harmony with our friends.
Zipp Storm looked confused.
ZIPP STORM:
Wasn't Rainbow Dash one of the guardians?
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
I'm talking about the ancient ones. They understood magic, never friendship. But we took care of that.
ZIPP STORM:
Did you teach them what friendship really is?
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
We tried, but it was no use. So, Princess Twilight locked them in the dungeon at Canterlot.
Zipp Storm looked sad.
ZIPP STORM:
Oh. I guess Twilight didn't have any options.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
No. And that was before I...
Captain Celaeno got interrupted by Solomon who looked surprised to see her.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
I don't believe it! Captain Celaeno! The awesome pirate!
Solomon ran up to Captain Celaeno.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
My name is Solomon. I'm Apple Charlie's nephew.
Captain Celaeno looked confused.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
Apple?
Zipp Storm whispered to Captain Celaeno.
ZIPP STORM (Whispered):
He means, uncle.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
Oh.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
Captain, I like the scene when you and the crew popped out of a big cake in My Little Pony: The Movie. And I know you're one of the Guardians of Love. Perseverance.
Captain Celaeno looked happily surprised.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
That's right! I am! How'd you know that?
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
Apple Charlie read one of his My Little Pony graphic novels to me. It was season ten, volume three.
Captain Celaeno smiled.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
You're a very smart little human.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
Thank you, Captain.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
Oh, Solomon. You don't have to call me that. Your uncle and I are friends now. Which makes you my friend, too.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
Okay. Celaeno, I like to ask you something.
CAPTAIN CELAENO:
What is it?
Solomon looked a little nervous, but happy.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL (Nervously):
Well… I would like you to...
Solomon was interrupted by Princess Celestia.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
Oh, Solomon!
Solomon saw Princess Celestia and Princess Luna walking up to him.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
Celestia! Luna! I was just talking to, Celaeno and Zipp.
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna smiled.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
Well, we're glad to see you've become friends.
PRINCESS LUNA:
We have a little something for you, Sol.
Princess Celestia took out a big present from her satchel and gave it to Solomon who looked surprised.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
A present? Oh, boy! Thank you!
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
We we're going to give it to you on your birthday, but the Storm Queen...
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
Yeah, I know. Apple Charlie told me what happened. But I'm glad he brought you back.
Solomon unwrapped his present and he looked happy while he was holding two graphic novels.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL (happily):
The first two volumes of My Little Pony: G5 graphic novels! It's what I always wanted!
Solomon hugged Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
SOLOMON CRYSTAL:
Thanks, Celestia and Luna.
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna hugged Solomon back.
PRINCESS CELESTIA:
You're very welcome.
Charlie, Sunny Starscout and Hitch Trailblazer looked happy while they were watching Solomon with Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Zipp Storm and Captain Celaeno.
HITCH TRAILBLAZER:
Looks like your nephew is happy that he got his present.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Yeah. It was my idea to get these books for him.
Charlie was thinking.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I think I should take Solomon to Ancient Equestria after the party.
Sunny Starscout looked worried.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
Are you sure, Charlie? That place might be crawling with storm creatures.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I know. But I'll use my magic to protect him. He always wanted to have an adventure with me. It'll be like Indiana Jones and Short Round. Besides, I've been telling him about Ancient Equestria, while we watched My Little Pony, and now he wants to see it.
HITCH TRAILBLAZER:
I don't think that's a good idea.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I don't care if you think that isn't a good idea. I'm going to tell Jewel I'm taking Solomon with me to Ancient Equestria.
SUNNY STARSCOUT:
She won't like it, Charlie.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Oh, she won't like it all right. She'll say, (Jewel's voice): Oh, no you're not. (Normal voice): and I say, oh, yes, I am. And she'll say, (Jewel's voice): Oh, no you're not. (Normal voice): And I say, oh, yes, I am! And she'll say...
Hitch Trailblazer interrupted Charlie.
HITCH TRAILBLAZER:
Hold it. Hold it, Charlie. Maybe we should let your sister decide.
Charlie sighed.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
You properly right. She might say no anyway.
Princess Skystar walked up to Charlie.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
Yoo hoo! Charlie! There's my birthday humacorn.
Charlie noticed that Princess Skystar was wearing red lip gloss.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Are you wearing lipstick?
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
I'm glad you noticed. It's actually lip gloss. Pipp put that on for me. Now it's time for me to give you a birthday kiss!
Princess Skystar gave Charlie a big kiss on the lips.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
It tastes like strawberries.
PRINCESS SKYSTAR:
That's because it is. The Pippsqueaks called it Strawberry Ribble gloss. It was named after Pipp's favourite smoothie. Do you like it?
Charlie smiled at Princess Skystar.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I love it, Skystar. It really suits you.
Princess Skystar smiled while her cheeks turned red. Queen Haven was at the throne making a speech.
QUEEN HAVEN:
Quiet, everypony!
Everyone went silent and looked at Queen Haven.
QUEEN HAVEN:
I'm so glad that all of you could make it. As you know, this party is for the human who saved me, my kingdom and my lovely Cloudpuff from that evil changeling who took my place. I know his birthday was yesterday, but this is a special occasion. I would like to give you the grandson of the legendary humacorn and Sunny's dad, Charlie Carvette Equestrian!
Everyone cheered for Charlie as he walked to throne, kissed Queen Haven on the cheek and looked at his family, friends and party guests.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I'd like to thank Queen Haven and all my friends for throwing me a big party. And I would like to say, you all come together like balloons who are ready to pop.
Everyone laughed, including Izzy Moonbow.
IZZY MOONBOW (Laughing):
It's true! Balloons do pop!
Everyone stopped laughing, while Charlie continued his speech.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
But let's be serious for a moment. Most of you may not know that I was born with autism. It's a learning disability, but I don't have to explain this to you because you can look it up from your phones, if you want to. When my mum found out, she never wanted to handle it and be there for me when I became an adult. My dad knew how to handle it because he's always there for me. But when I was ten, Celestia and Luna came to my world. They know how to keep me happy in the right way. I was very lucky to have them as my friends. My family.
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna looked happy at Charlie.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
They looked after me. They care for me. They teach me. And they helped me spend more time with my sister, and my nephew, Solomon.
Jewel and her son smiled at Charlie.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
My mum was about to put me in a care home and that made me upset. But I'm happy because Celestia and Luna put me under their care. I love them so much. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't find out more about my grandfather, come to Equestria and meet my cousin, Sunny Starscout.
Sunny Starscout was in tears when she looked at Charlie.
SUNNY STARSCOUT (Crying):
Oh, Charlie.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
I may not control my autism back home, but in Equestria, I can. I feel normal. I feel happy, I feel free and I feel like I'm home. But all I want from my mum is to be there for me, understand me and say, I'm proud of you, Charlie.
Everyone understood Charlie's feelings and Grubber was crying. Charlie was about to finish his speech.
CHARLIE CARVETTE EQUESTRIAN:
Now, I need to tell you something very important. You all know that the Storm King is now the Storm Queen. She took over Ancient Equestria and took all of your magic away, until Sunny brought it back. The Storm Queen only did that because she hates everypony being friends with each other and using magic. It doesn't matter if we're Earth ponies, Pegasi and Unicorns. It doesn't matter if we're hippogriffs, cats, dragons, pirates and hedgehogs. It doesn't matter if we're alicorns and humacorn. It doesn't matter if we have autism or any special needs. And it also doesn't matter if we're BLACK OR WHITE! And this song I'm about to sing, will help you all understand what I'm talking about. DJ, spin that music!
A DJ Pegasus played the music from his DJ box, while Charlie changed into his human form, put on his hat and started to dance and sing "Black or White" by Michael Jackson.

At half way through the song, Starlight Glimmer magically appeared from Charlie's body and started rapping. After the song ended, everyone cheered for Charlie and Solomon ran up to his uncle and hugged him happily.
