The West coast was pouring, like it always did. Regularity was peaceful, maybe that's why I always found the rain comforting. The sound that was constant, the lighting was constant. I was looking out towards the greenery of the forest and I started thinking of him again. That day in the middle of June, the day I ran in to that strange man. It didn't occur to me in the moment, but his touch was cold. His body was hard. I assumed at the time it was my imagination and my embarrassment making things up. I could still feel the coldness of his touch.
I've even had dreams of him. I met him once, and I had repeated dreams of him. It's always the same generally, 'Everything is going to be okay…' two other men stand with him, I can't make out their faces. The one is taller than the rest. The other one has hair that is almost white.
I click my favorite pen and tap it against my notes for my class in math. I was taking extra math classes in college to get them out of the way. I was always not the strongest in math, but I was determined to be better. I picked up my phone and unlocked the screen, hoping for a message from my friends or as of lately, I've been waiting for Jacob to message me about hanging out today. I need a distraction, I need to stretch my legs.
Jacob and I met at the end of summer. Well we ran in to each other. I was out walking in the woods by the reservation, making my way to the beaches, Jacob just about killed me with his dirtbike. He came out of nowhere, or maybe I wasn't paying attention. Those were two very possible situations. We hung out ever since. I haven't met too many people like me since moving out here 4 years ago. Katerina, the girl I went to Volterra with over the summer, we were different but we complimented each other most of the time. She was out going and enjoyed materialistic things. And being with her helped me appreciate those things too. She teases me but she knows I appreciate her opening my heart up to different things this life has to offer. I wonder if she thinks the same about me.
It was now September, changing in to October. The year was going by fast so far. Recently Jacob hasn't been talking to me as much. He said this girl named Bella needed him. Something about her boyfriend…he didn't really give me too many details.
I felt myself getting jealous, for some reason. I wonder who this Bella was to Jacob and why I couldn't be around when she was around. I wonder if I had feelings for Jacob. No way…..maybe.

I decided to just take the jump. I was driving over ti Jacob's to say hello. I needed a break from crunching numbers and formulas. My eyes felt like they were going to roll out of my skull if i kept going, from all the swelling from my brain of course.
The drive to where Jacob lives is long and beautiful. I pulled down the long dirt driveway to his house. I noticed an old truck in the driveway, they had dirtbikes in the back. Maybe he was busy with that, I sighed with relief. But I wonder who the truck belongs to?
I knocked on the door, and in seconds Billy was answering the door smiling.
"Hey, y/n. I haven't seen you in a minute."
"Yeah I've been busy Mr. Billy, you know school work. I picked some harder classes to get them out of the way first thing." I smiled.
"That's great y/n, good for you. Make me proud, and just call me Billy."
"I'm sorry Mr…Billy" I laughed nervously. My anxiety kept me from not addressing someone formally.
"Jacob is out in the garage. He's with Bella, I don't think you two have met."
"Okay, yeah, I never met her before. That sounds cool. It'll be cool to have an addition to our little friends group." I laughed nervously. Thinking, what if she doesn't like me.
"I guess I will go out and see what they're working on then Billy, I'll see you around!"
"Stop in more often y/n"
I smiled and waved and made my way out the door, the screen slamming on my way out. I reached the opening of the garage and I stopped, I heard their voices. They mentioned "bloodsuckers", that was Jacob's voice. Why would he be talking about that? He's old enough to not be talking about fairytales.
I heard the girl's voice, they called Bella, asking him not to call them that. Them? Who are these people?
I knocked on the wooden frame, and pushed the tarp blocking the misty rain from getting in the garage back, "Hey Jake you in here?" There was a dirtbike in pieces on the ground, ready to be put back together it seemed like. He looked up from his work, smiled brightly. He's still the same.
"Y/N I wasn't expecting you." He got up and gave me a hug. I hugged him back gently.
"I invited myself, that's why." I replied. I pulled away, I made eye contact with the girl who was sitting near him. "You're Bella, right? Jake has mentioned you but refuses to talk about you." I laughed nervously.
"Yeah I'm Bella, I live in the town closest to here, you know Forks?"
"Oh yeah, I live in Beaver right now. All the towns look the same over here. I live with some roommates. They're a little out there."
She smiled nervously.
"So you guys rebuilding this thing? How cool." referring to the dirtbike laying in pieces.
"Yeah we were about to just put it back together" Jake interjected.
"I wanted to ride it first," Bella added with a smile.
"You've never ridden before?" I asked.
"No I haven't," Bella stated.
"Okay cool, you'll get the hang of it. You have two experts here." I said smiling brightly. "Are you guys hungry all of a sudden? Do you like pizza?
"Sure, pizza sounds good."
"Jake I already know your answer." He laughed in response. "My treat, I'll call it in."

We bonded over pizza and bad choices that afternoon. After many hours we were able to put the bike back together. It started right up. We made our way to an open trail, to teach Bella about riding. I stood back, nervous. She seemed a little reckless all of a sudden. Jacob explained the clutch and brakes….And Bella was off. Too fast.
"Oh my god Jacob, tell her to ease up." I said to him.
"BELLA, slow down please!"
She went faster, she hit a bump in the trail, we started after her. Her front wheel began to wobble and shake,' oh shit'
She suddenly laid the bike down and she slid, we heard an awful crack.
"Jake she hit her head." There was a large rock where she landed. I stood back with my hands covering my mouth. She moved and I was able to relax a little. Jacob picked Bella up "Hey are you okay?"
"I wanna go again." She demanded. I laughed.
"Bella you're awesome." She smiled. "Maybe we should call it a day?"

—-No one's POV—-

Aro clenched his chest, sitting on the edge of his seat. He could feel her, he dreamed about her in his sleep. He'd seen her with another male, smiling. He was awaiting a Cullen in his court. He had to pull his self together. He had a kingdom to rule.
Marcus, looked more uncomfortable as of late. More depressed than usual. Caius was more aggressive and unattentive. They had to do something about this bond to this human woman.
The large wooden doors opened. Aro put on a fake smile. He walked towards his guests.
"Edward Cullen," He spat the word Cullen out." What is it that you want?"
"I wish to end my life." Edward said matter of factly.
Aro smiled. He loved chaos. "Ahh my dear Edward, we can't do that."
Edward Glared at the kings.
"We can't just go around killing people, they might think we are actually monsters." Aro smiled.
