Dance of the Swords

Pairings: Eris x Shizuku and Mai x Reo

"Delivery!"

Shizuku jolts up from her calligraphy she was working on and stands up tall, adjusting her red kimono. She steps toward the front door before her maid could get to it. She receives a large box filled with different contents.

"What is it that you bought, Shizuku-sama?" The maid asks.

"Just something for me and my friends to have fun with," Shizuku replies. "They're just toys."

"Ahhhh. Well then, the weekend is coming up tomorrow anyways," The maid says. "I bet this has to do with what you are planning."

Shizuku nods. "Yes. I am looking forward to having fun with my friends."

Next Day*

"Japanese Swords…?" Eris questions as she puts an index finger to her chin. "Nun chucks? Tonfas? Spears?"

Shizuku gets out the contents while she, her girlfriend Eris and the other two girls, Mai and Reo are outside at a large park. "Yes. They were all weapons made years ago for fighting."

"So…what?" Reo puts her hands on her hips. "Are we gonna fight each other with those?"

"They look pretty dangerous," Mai points out, picking up a nun chuck.

"They're just toys," Shizuku says. "I wasn't planning on bringing blood shed to others anyways."

This makes Eris get excited. "Oh! Oh! Shizuku, Shizuku! You should try the spear! Or! Or! The nun chucks!"

Mai giggles. "Perhaps what would be more fitting for Shizuku-sama is the Japanese Sword."

"Good idea!" Eris says.

"Hmph! I have no interest in such weapons," Reo huffs, turning her head away. "When's lunch? I wanna eat."

"We just got here," Mai says. "Shizuku-sama was very eager to show us these weapons. And try them out for ourselves."

"Mai-san, would you be willing to try out the Japanese Sword with me?" Shizuku asks. "After all I…" She looks down at her outfit, which is a pink geisha style kimono that is easier to move around. It shows off her wonderful legs underneath the white skirt. "I bought this just for this occasion."

"Sure, no problem~" Mai says as she grabs a katana. She unsheathes it just a couple inches to see the plastic, but shiny blade. "Ohhhhh, cool!"

Shizuku picks up her own. "I just so happened to watch a movie with people using katanas. So I thought maybe the four of us can practice a little swordsmanship."

"Hmph! Swordsmanship my ass!" Reo huffs again. "Those things are too heavy for me to carry. I want out."

"Awwww don't be like that, Reo~" Eris says as she hugs the petite girl from behind. "Don't you want to see your beloved swing her sword like a professional~?"

"Wh-why would I wanna do that…?" Reo blushes and tries to hide it. "Mai's just…perfect without the sword…"

"Reooooo~!" Mai cheerfully calls. "Come cheer me on! Shizuku-sama's gonna teach me!"

"Watch and learn, Eris," Shizuku says as she fully unsheathes the sword.

Mai unsheathes her sword as well. For about 20 minutes, Shizuku demonstrates the basics and Mai follows. From swinging right and left, to up and down. Then doing various battle poses. Eris and Reo watch carefully. For Reo, she sees her beloved learning quickly, copying what Shizuku is doing. The two black haired maidens then face each other, readying their swords.

"Got the basics down?" Shizuku asks.

"I got it all down~" Mai says. "Let's have a good spar. I am pretty athletic after all~"

"Same here~" Shizuku says.

The two run toward each other and clash their plastic blades. Left, right, up and down and then Mai spins around to perform a backslash, but Shizuku blocks it. She rushes forward and prepares to swing at Mai. The shorter haired girl blocks her attack and they start to push each other. Shizuku pushes harder and shoves Mai back and shoulder tackles her. Mai rolls to her feet and raises her katana. She charges forward and the two black haired maidens clash swords once again.

"Wow!" Eris says. "Shizuku looks…so graceful like this! The way she moves! Ohhh, I am falling in love with her all over again!" She then turns to Reo who is just standing there watching. "Reo, are you okay?"

The petite girl doesn't respond as she keeps on watching Mai fight Shizuku. With Shizuku's geisha kimono fluttering with each movement and Mai's frilly skirt fluttering around while jumping. It's an intense fight, in her eyes at least. Reo can imagine doing the same thing to Eris, only she can be a bit rougher.

Once the battle is over, Mai and Shizuku bow and then face their beloveds. Eris applauds while Reo goes "Hmph!" again.

"That was terrific, Shizuku!" Eris exclaims. "You fought like a real warrior!"

"Th-thank you very much," Shizuku blushes.

"Annnnd…how was I, Reo~?" Mai says happily.

The petite girl blushes and turns away. "N-not that impressive, I'd say."

"Reooooo~?" Mai can tell her little lover is lying.

"W-well ummmm…I would say it was a good effort," Reo says. "And…y-you looked pretty amazing…fighting like that…"

"Reooooo!" Mai tosses the katana aside and hugs her little lover tightly. "You praised me! You praised meeee~!"

"Rrrrraaaaahhhh!" Reo growls as she flails her arms around. "MAI NO BAKAAAAAAAA!!!"

Shizuku and Eris giggle at their interactions. So now it's the blondes' turn. Eris goes for the spear while Reo goes for the tonfas.

"It's easier for me," Reo claims. "A sword is too heavy!"

"Well, I think a spear might suit me too," Eris says. She turns to her lover. "Cheer me on, Shizuku!"

"And I will cheer you on, Reo~!" Mai says as she waves.

"D-don't be so loud…" Reo blushes and then faces Eris. "It's go time, Eris Shitogi! This time, I won't be beaten! Do not underestimate my small size because I will kick your ass all around!"

"Fufu! Whatever you say~" Eris holds up her spear. "Bring it on~"

Reo starts to run with her tonfas in hand, but trips on a small rock and falls flat on her face. Eris tries to stifle a giggle. Mai does the same while Shizuku just smiles nervously.

"That was just a test!" Reo jumps to her feet. "To scare you!" She charges forward. "This is also just to scare you!" She jumps in the air and ready to swing her tonfa.

But Eris holds her spear vertical, blocking the attack and easily pushes Reo away. The petite girl stumbles to the ground and falls on her back.

"Owie…!" Reo groans.

"This is all you got, Reo~?" Eris teases. "I thought you were going all around kicking my butt~"

"That's the plan!" Reo gets to her feet again and charges forward. "You haven't seen nothing yet! Haaaaaahhhh!"

The two girls finally clash weapons and Reo wildly swings her tonfas back and forth with Eris easily blocking each and every attack. She is just too tall! Wait a minute! That could be her advantage after all. Reo can trick Eris into seeing her attacking, but she will go the other way. Rising to her feet, she lunges forward and swings one of her tonfas. Eris grins and uses her spear to lunge forward, finally wanting to strike back for once. But then, Reo ducks under between Eris's legs and then swings her tonfa to hit the taller blonde's butt hard.

"Hyah!" Eris squeaks and falls face down and her butt is high in the air.

Reo rolls to her feet and turns around grinning. "Yeah! How do you like that~?"

"Owwww!" Eris whines adorably. "My butt is gonna sting for a while!"

"Hahahaha!" Reo puts her hands on her hips victoriously. "See that, Eris Shitogi? Never underestimate the power of small people~!" She looks toward her lover. "Mai, you seeing this? I finally beat Eris Shitogi! What a great warrior I am!"

"Ohhh do you think so~?" Eris says from behind Reo, making her jump back, shocked.

"What the hell!?" The petite girl squeaks. "I just knocked you down!"

"Well while you were too busy being victorious, I just so happened to manage to sneak away very quickly~" Eris says. "Here's a lesson from me~" She peers closer to Reo. "Never celebrate too early~" She uses her handle to shove the petite girl back and then stab the ground with the point and then use the spear to launch herself forward. She double kicks Reo to the ground and takes out her spear.

"Hey, no fair!" Reo screeches as she flails her arms and legs around. "I wasn't ready!"

"A very poor excuse~" Eris says. "Looks like I win after all~"

Mai rushes to Reo's aid to help her up. Shizuku joins Eris shortly after.

"A little rough there~" Mai says. "Are you sure you're okay, Reo? Eris-sama?"

"No worries~" Eris replies. "I only felt a little sting."

"I'm going to be a little sore in a while," Reo groans.

Shizuku gathers the materials to put them back into the box. "I think that's enough for today. How about we take a trip to the hot springs to relax ourselves?"

"Great idea!" Mai says. "Reo, maybe it will help heal the sores."

"I-I guess that will work," Reo replies.

"I'm in!" Eris happily raises her hand.

"Great. Then let's go," Shizuku says as she bravely takes Eris's hand.

Mai holds Reo's hand and the four of them head off to the hot springs together.

A/N: I just think it fits Shizuku well holding a katana. And I'm all in for Mai and Reo if they are with Eris x Shizuku. I just love how they are together like sisters. The devs did an excellent job on that one.

This story is probably just an experiment for an AU story I'm planning on writing for Shizuku x Eris. With Shizuku wielding a katana. Tell me what you think and if I should write it.
