After the celebration, the group of friends parted ways.

Bumju, Jooyoung and Hanna headed back to the dormitory, Seunghyun went home, Eunkang stayed with her family, and Tak walked Ari home.

Tak held Ari's hand as they slowly walked through a nearby park. He watched her closely under the streetlights and couldn't help but appreciate how pretty she is.

He noticed how her cheeks were flushed from drinking. His eyes fell on her lips. They looked so plump and soft.

Too inviting

He recalled how it felt kissing her —

"You didn't need to send me home, you could have gone back with Bumju and the others." Ari said, breaking his thoughts.

"No, I want to walk you home. I want to spend as much time as I can with you." Tak replied, smiling at her.

"Why?" Ari stopped in her tracks. "Are you leaving me again?" She turned to face Tak. Tak felt guilty seeing the worried look on her face.

"No! Never." Tak said firmly. "I missed you so much when we were apart that's why I'm grabbing every chance I can spend with you." He tried to reassure her.

She looked at him with doubtful eyes.

"Ari, I never want to lose you. That would be the biggest regret of my life." Tak said sincerely.

"If you mean that, then you should treat me better. I won't forgive you easily if you do it again." Ari pouted as she warned him.

He smirked seeing how adorable she looked.

They continued their conversation, as they carried on with their stroll.

"Ari."

"Hmm?"

"Thank you."

Ari looked at him inquisitively.

"I'm sorry that I put you through a hard time." Tak squeezed her hand as he spoke. "But honestly, rather than feeling sorry, I'm more grateful that you took me back. I can't tell you how thankful I am to have you."

"Really?" Ari asked, holding back the smile forming on her lips.

"Yes. I'm a lucky man." Tak replied in a happy tone.

"Yes, you are very lucky!" Ari agreed, unable to hide the satisfaction in her face.

"Tak, when things get hard, instead of running away, stick to me. Even if you can't tell me the problem straightaway, just stay by my side and I'll do my best to support you. OK?"

"Yes, ma'am!" He teased her in response. Ari searched his face and saw the sincerity in his eyes.

"Good." Pleased, she turned her cheek towards him. As Tak moved to kiss her cheek, she turned her head, making the kiss land on her lips.

Tak looked at her warmly as she giggled at her little trick.

He then wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in for a deeper kiss.
