Based off of this post I found on Pinterest, it's as follows:

"A few years ago, Denmark gave me this really stupid necklace with little Lego charms. I made him believe that I threw it away, because honestly, it's kind of hideous. What he doesn't know is I still wear it every day, under my clothes. He is such a moron."

Of all the stupid things Iceland had imagined doing out of annoyance from Denmark's constant pestering, going through his older brother's room while he was taking a shower to look for a Lego necklace he'd given him years ago was not one of them. Even with the help of a description from Denmark, he wasn't sure if he'd ever find it. Norway had probably thrown it out already, considering it had been a rather odd looking necklace with the amount of (seemingly) random Lego pieces attached to it. Just as Iceland was about to give up, a little box caught his eye- shaped like a Lego brick. Probably not something he would buy on his own.

"What are you doing?" Norway's voice interrupts him just as he opens the box, which is empty.

Oh shit.

This can't end well.

Damn you Dane.

"Hey Nor, I got ya a gift!" Denmark says excitedly, running up to Norway, who gives him a blank stare.

"What is it?" He asks flatly, looking not very interested in the slightest. "I have a meeting soon so make it quick."

"Alright here- Open it." Denmark comically fishes around in his pockets for a while, but eventually finds it and hands him a small box, shaped like a Lego brick. Norway opens it, pulling out a necklace with multiple little Lego charms- most personalised, including a cup of coffee, a stick of butter, and even a little figure in the likeness of Denmark.

"Ah. My dream come true," He says sarcastically, but the jab doesn't seem to have the intended effect on Denmark at all- in fact, he just smiles. "A reminder of annoyance."

"Do ya like it Nor?" Denmark asks, bouncing about like a child who had had access to a bit too much candy on Christmas Eve.

"Hm. It looks so nice that I'll make sure to keep it in the trash can." He says before quickly walking away, not sticking around to hear the other nation's response.

...

Despite all he had said to Denmark, Norway did in fact appreciate the necklace- as odd looking as it was. A cute and thoughtful little gift, just as unique as his friend.

"It's nice of him." Norway thought to himself, trying the necklace on- the lego bits clinked and clanked against each other softly. "I'll wear it everyday."

What Norway forgot to mention however, was that he wore it under his clothes- he'd rather run out of butter for a month and a half than be seen in public wearing it.

Back to present day, Norway smirks as he watches his brother try to explain the reason as to why he had gone through his room- the Lego shaped box abandoned on the floor.

"I-I.. um.." Iceland struggles to form a sentence, having failed to think up of a plan or an excuse in the event of being caught red handed, yet here he was.

"Going through my stuff?" Norway asks, stare cold as ever. Though, he was secretly amused- did Denmark really want to know that badly?

"I'm sorry! Denmark got me to do this!" The younger brother tries to explain frantically, completely throwing him under the bus.

"It's alright. Assuming you're looking for a certain horrendous looking necklace, I threw that thing out years ago." He waves his hand dismissively. "Tell Dane that for big brother, will you?"

"Sure.." Iceland agrees begrudgingly, ignoring Norway's use of the term 'big brother' to refer to himself.

...

"I found the box, it was empty though." Iceland explains to Denmark, who is sat on the couch fiddling with some Lego pieces.

"Aw really?" He says, frowning slightly, though it disappears from his face as quickly as it came. "Its alright! Let's just hope he enjoyed it while he had it. Thanks either way Ice!"

"Okay." Iceland nods before walking out of the room, leaving Denmark alone. He stretches, then suddenly flops face first onto the couch like a complete buffoon, seemingly unaffected by the Legos he had just laid down on- but it's so like Denmark no Nordic would've batted an eye if they saw it.

Norway silently watches as Denmark shifts about to grab the Lego bricks he had just laid down on- why he never thought to simply get up and grab them that way he'd never know.

"Oh no it's broken!" He frowns, holding up an assortment of red, white and blue Legos that were once part of something. Norway sighs, Denmark was making that face. The face that he made whenever disappointed- not too different from that of a child who had just been told 'no sweets'.

His interest is peaked as he watches Denmark suddenly become very focused on the task of rebuilding whatever the bricks formed before, and after a couple remarks of 'oh wait! This isn't supposed to be here' and 'did I lose a brick?' It's finally completed.. a little copy of a Norwegian flag.

"This is pretty cool!" He laughs as he walks out of the living room- only to meet face to face with Norway.

"You, are an idiot."

"Oh hey Nor!" Denmark smiles, ignoring the jab from Norway. "Heard you threw away the necklace, but you liked it while you had it, right?"

He's tempted to say no, just for to see Denmark's reaction, almost.

"Have you really never felt anything when you squeeze the life out of me with your hugs?"

"Um.. I feel happy?"

The answer earns him a bonk to the head. "No."

"C'mon.. why are you so mean?" He frowns, looking like a kicked puppy.

"My hand slipped." Norway shrugs. "Also, I do in fact still have the necklace, Dane. Guess your thick skull prevented you from noticing I wear it under my clothes daily."

Denmark's oddly silent for a few seconds, and just as he was about to reply with a snappy remark of 'Don't think too hard, no need to tire yourself with something new.' He opens his never closed mouth. "I knew it! My bestest buddy actually liked it!"

"Indeed," Norway nods as best he can while being hugged. "I like this, too. " He reaches for the little Lego Norwegian flag Denmark had made.

What a wonderful, sometimes annoying, friend he had.

First fic that isn't a Drabble in a while. Sorry if it seems stiff or anything, I'm not very good with continuity :P

Also, can we just have fics where Denmark is just a big, hyperactive, loud kid and not sad? He's adorable in my opinion :D

Hope you liked it!
