She has her back to me at the kitchen sink,

I'm trying to read her mind, wondering what she doesn't say to anybody,

The laundry's folded, beds are made, It's like this every single day,

It's memorized, but a thin disguise

Sunstreaker watched from a distance as Bluestreak talked, more that then to, the table where a few others sat. It always amazed him how, no matter the mood, his mate always found something to talk about. Sometimes bots didn't even notice they wanted the company until Bluestreak left, leaving them a little in shock with his absence.

I can see, what she can't see, her light only ever landed on me

But there's a glimmer in her brown eyes, the ones she only gave to me,

So I know we both can be shiny

He watched silently as the table looked more irritated the more times would pass. Eventually Brawn gave an aggravated sigh and turned a glare to Bluestreak, "Mute it, Blue, we're trying to relax."

Bluestreak flinched a bit before slumping slightly, "Sorry, you guys looked like you needed company."

Sunstreaker scowled. Didn't they see he was only trying to help? He made more of his presence known as he entered and made a loop by their table. As Bluestreak seen him enter and walk his way his optics brightened and he gave a bright smile, Bluestreak opened his mouth to say a greeting but stopped himself as he glanced at the table.

She calls on Sundays, checking in

We talk about the weather again, it never changes,

She wonders where the rain is, once in a while I catch a glimps,

Of the truest things that she keeps hidden, her secret heart, that's my favorite part

Sunstreaker ghosted a servo over a wing as he passed, making it twitch and flutter, and grabbed two cubes from the dispenser before walking back, "Let's go, Blue. They obviously don't deserve your company." he sniffed out.

Bluestreak turned bright optics from his lover's back, back to the silent table, then back to him before getting up and catching up with Sunstreaker, leaving the table to be a little too silent. Once he caught up he gently tapped his golden lover with a wing, "You know you could have been more nice about that."

Sunstreaker just grunted in response. In his honest opinion, they didn't deserve it. Bluestreak just shook his helm in amusement. As they walked out of the Ark he looked around absently, "where are we going anyway? You must be in a really good mood if we're outside. I'm just glad it's a nice evening."

Sunstreaker smirked to himself as Bluestreak rambled on, probably without knowing it.

I see what she can't see, her light only ever landed on me,

But there's a glimmer in her brown eyes, the ones she gave to me,

So I know we can both be shiny

All that glitters isn't gold, but gold is all I see,

So I know we can both be, shiny

They climbed their way up the side of the mountain and on the final corner Bluestreak saw a blanket set out with a basket off to the side. Bluestreak looked back at the golden twin,

"Sunny?" he questioned softly.

Sunstreaker didn't say anything but handed Bluestreak the second cube and gently guided him to the blanket where the sun was gently setting, like it was waiting for them. Bluestreak let him be guided, for once not feeling the need to fill the silence.

Sunstreaker watched Bluestreak soak up the last of the sun, admiring how beautiful he looked in golden rays, thinking to himself and asking, not for the first time, what he did to grab the attention of the sweet gunner.
