The first day of the new UA school year had arrived, and Ochako Uraraka was still unable to get Izuku out of her head. On one hand, she wanted to thank the boy for giving up his admission for her. However, on the other hand, she never wants to see him again, as he is bound to only cause problems.
"Uraraka!" shouted a familiar voice to the girl as she turned around.
"Oh, Iida!" she exclaimed, realizing he had been calling her for a while. She shook the thought of Izuku from her head. "You made it in!"
"Yeah…," began the boy. "Those extra points that I got towards the end there really helped."
"Oh, that's right…," thought Ochako. "While I lost points because of Deku, Iida and Bakugou gained points. I still can't believe you two protected him."
"Of course I did!" exclaimed the boy. "What kind of hero turns his back on someone in need?!"
"Quit getting ahead of yourself, idiot!" yelled Katsumi as she approached the two from behind, making her way up the stairs. The three of them continued into the building, Katsumi keeping to herself behind Ochako and Iida. "Say, Round-face…," she began.
"Huh? Me?" asked Ochako.
"I thought you weren't going to make it... based on the face that you made after you lost all of those points," said the girl. "You looked like you were about to cry."
"That's right," said Iida, remembering the events more clearly. "Whilst Bakugou and I gained points, you lost yours, right?"
"It… It was Deku," said Ochako. "Maybe if I tell someone else, they'll know how I should feel. H-He approached principal Nezu before letters were sent out and offered to trade positions with me... His admission for my rejection."
"What?!" roared Katsumi, grabbing the girl by the collar and pinning her against the lockers. "Do you know how much he wanted to be a hero growing up?! Why the hell would he do something like that for a girl that he had just met?!"
"B-Bakugou…"
"I don't know!" cried Ochako. "I've been trying to figure it out for the past week! Why would someone that's supposed to be so evil decide to do something so kind?!" Tears began trailing from the girl's eyes.
Katsumi scoffed and set the girl back on the ground before pushing her way past Iida and making her way towards her classroom. "Because that's how that loser has always been..."
The two watched as the girl shoved her way through the semi-crowded hallway, leaving the two of them.
"You know…," began Iida. "Maybe he did it because he knew you weren't genuine when you attacked him during the exam."
"W-What do you mean?" asked the girl, wiping her tears and fixing her uniform. "I... wasn't genuine?"
"Yeah…," said the boy, placing his hand to his chin. "Do you remember when he said 'thank you randomly after being trapped in the net?" Ochako thought for a second before nodding. "I couldn't figure out why he would say something like that. But that was when I remembered what you had asked just before that."
The girl looked at the boy in confusion. "Do you remember what that is, Uraraka?" he asked. She couldn't remember, shaking her head. "You asked me if he could escape the sea prism net."
"How does that prove I wasn't genuine?" she asked.
"Well, when most people refer to devils if they talking to someone else, they say 'it' or if they're talking to the devil themself, they say things like 'devil,' or 'beast.' However, you referred to him as 'he,' meaning you still saw him as a person while the rest of society doesn't."
"But… but h- it's not a person!"
"Uraraka…," said the boy placing his hand on her shoulder. "I don't think you really believe that."
20 students were gathered within the walls of Class 1-A. Some were sitting down as others gathered around them, already making friends and establishing some form of a hierarchy.
Katsumi was sitting by herself, looking out the windows of the classroom as she eavesdropped on everyone's conversations, learning what she could about her competition's quirks. However, it was then that she heard someone approach her from the right. Lifting her head off of her hand, she looked towards a boy with orange and black hair.
"Yo!" he said, leaning on the girl's desk with one arm, giving her a smoldering look. "What's a pretty lady like yourself doing all by yourself? Want me to keep you company?"
"Huh?!" she asked, giving the boy the most disgusted look that she could muster. The look she gave him seemed to scare him off as he quickly backed away, bowing profusely as he apologized for disturbing her. "Tsk… what a loser."
Shoko Todoroki sat quietly in her seat, adjusting her pencils so that they were parallel with the right side of her desk. The two writing utensils were equal in length and had the labeling on the top.
She then adjusted her bag so that it didn't stick out on either side of her chair. She then made sure to brush off any strand of her bi-colored hair that had emerged from her back and laid on her shoulder.
"Yo!" She heard a voice approach her from the right as she looked at a boy with orange and black hair. Her head did not turn as she watched him approach. "What's a pretty lady li-!"
"Who said you could speak to me?" she asked him, glaring through her bangs as her heterochromatic eyes stared him down. He could be seen falling backward as he all but ran to his seat.
As Shoko scoffed at the boy's weakness, she turned back to face the front of the classroom, locking eyes with the girl that sat further up in her row. The two locked eyes over the girl's shoulder before she stood up and made her way back to Shoko. She slammed her foot on the front edge of the girl's desk. "What the hell are you starin' at, little miss perfect?" asked Katsumi.
The two of them glared at each other so intensely that the rest of the class could almost see their auras clashing. Katsumi raised her hand, as Shoko did the same. Before either was able to make a move. A small blast of wind emerged from between them as crouched on top of Shoko's desk was none other than Shota Aizawa. Each girl was restricted by the man's capture tape. His eyes were glowing red as his hair was raised in the air, flowing as though he were underwater.
"I expect both of you to get along," he began, glaring at both of them. "Now, hurry up and sit down before I'm forced to expel one of you." Katsumi scoffed, taking her foot off of the girl's desk and making her way back to her own. "This goes for all of you…," said the man, walking back to the front of the classroom. "Anyone who attacks another student without permission by a teacher whilst in a controlled environment is in violation of Code B-16 of the UA handbook, resulting in immediate expulsion."
"Anyone…," he repeated, looking towards Shoko. The girl rolled her eyes and looked out the window to her left. She watched as three people gathered around a bench in the practice field, poking at something.
"Now, I need all of you to put these on," said Aizawa as he held up a UA gym uniform. "Get changed and meet me out on the practice field in seven minutes and thirty seconds."
"That's so specific!" thought the class in synchronization.
"Heh?! Does that mean every part of his body is like that?!" asked Nejire Hado. "That's so funny!"
"Nejire!" exclaimed Mirio Togata, ripping the piece of flesh from her hand. "There's no way that doesn't hurt him." He watched as the flesh snapped back into place.
"No, I doubt he could really feel it anyway…," said the quieter Tamaki Amajiki. "I mean he's still asleep, isn't he?"
"Woah! You're so right!" exclaimed Nejire, poking the boy in his face before placing her ear over his mouth. "Is he dead?" The three of them leaned in, realizing that could definitely be a possibility.
"ZZZZZ!" The boy let out a massive open-mouthed snore, causing the girl to jump back in surprise. She pouted as she instinctively hid behind Togata, who was unfazed (ironic...).
"HAHA!" laughed the blonde boy. "I guess that answers that!"
"What is the Big 3 doing out here so early?" asked another voice. A scrawny man with two big, blonde bangs that hung off either side of his face approached the three from behind.
"Yagi-Sensei!" said Mirio. "Nice to see you again." The two of them had met a couple of weeks ago at Sir Nighteye's office. Sir was the mentor of Mirio and the former sidekick of the current Number One, All Might. It was there that Mirio learned a massive secret about the man that stood in front of him.
"Oh?" asked the man. "And who's that?" He pointed towards the sleeping boy on the bench.
"We have no idea, but he's wearing the gym uniform like a student, so we just assumed he goes to school here. Although, I've never seen him before."
"That's strange…," said Toshinori walking closer to the boy. "For some reason, he looks oddly familiar..."
"His name's Midoriya Izuku," said another voice, exiting the tunnel that led to the field. Toshinori felt a chill run down his spine. "He's a… 'transfer student.'"
"Aizawa!" exclaimed Toshinori. "Don't tell me you're doing the infamous Aizawa Assessment Test."
The man groaned. "Don't put a name on it…"
"Sorry, sorry," said the man. "It's just that you expelled more than half of the students from last year."
"I don't have time for people that aren't serious about their dreams," said Aizawa. "I need this area cleared, so I have to ask you guys to observe from a distance if you have to watch."
"Yes, SIR!" exclaimed Mirio as he saluted the man. "C'mon guys, I know the perfect spot to watch from!" The three of them made their way into the school, leaving only Izuku, Aizawa, and Toshinori outside.
"Say, Aizawa…," began Toshinori. "What's your relationship with this boy?"
"He's my student and I'm his teacher… why do you ask?"
"Has he ever mentioned anything about… meeting the Number One?" he asked. "About meeting All Might?"
Aizawa thought for a moment. "Not that I've heard him talk about. He only ever talks about becoming the Number One, not meeting him. Why?"
"I think that I might've met this boy about a year ago... If I'm right, you have quite the student on your hands."
"Oy! Aizawa-Sensei!" shouted Eijiro Kirishima, running through the tunnel along with the rest of the boys in his class.
"You're early," replied the annoyed man. "By about 20 seconds." The boys sweatdropped.
"Geez, Kirishima. You're always early to everything..." said Mina Ashido as she and the rest of the girls emerged from the tunnel.
"You're too early too," groaned the man, ruining the exciting atmosphere. Another set of footsteps emerged from the tunnel as Shoko Todoroki entered the field. Aizawa looked at his timer. "Right on time."
"Tsk!" scoffed Katsumi. "Stupid Half and Half bitch..."
"Now, let me intro-"
"ZZZZ!"
The man ticked as his capture tape grabbed Izuku off of the bench by his ankle before suspending him in midair. His shirt fell over his face. "Wake up!" commanded Aizawa, dropping the boy.
"Deku?!" shouted three individuals from the crowd of students. He stood up and dusted himself off.
"Yo!" he greeted with a goofy smile as he threw up a peace sign.
"Some of you are already familiar with this boy," began Aizawa, looking towards Ochako. "However, most of you don't know him, so I'll give him the chance to introduce himself."
Izuku grabbed the straw hat that hung from his neck, resting itself between his shoulder blades, and placed it on his head. "The name's Midoriya Izuku," he began before growing a determined look. Aizawa smirked under his scarf. "I'm the man that's going to be the next Number One hero." Izuku felt two pairs of eyes glaring at him after declaring that, but he stood unfazed.
"What is that?" wondered Toshinori as he felt the chills for the second time.
"Now," said Aizawa. "He's going to show you something that might scare you a little..." He handed the boy a baseball as Izuku walked towards a mound to the right of the group. "I cannot stress enough what I told you all earlier," he said, intimidatingly. He looked towards the roof of the school and saw Mirio, Nejire, and Tamaki.
Izuku stood at the plate and took a breath. "Gomu Gomu no…!" his arm stretched backward with the baseball in hand.
Aizawa felt a pulse go off inside his head before he appeared behind Shoko Todoroki, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Don't."
"Fastball!" The baseball shot forward along with the boy's arm. However, whilst Izuku's arm snapped back into place, the ball kept flying, soaring through the air. Aizawa plugged his ears.

Reviews:
gpbumann: You were right about Demon Slayer being forced. It really was just written in the heat of the moment. I think I might still include something like that, but I don't think Ochako will be mastering it. Lol
Superjukes2: You must've read the same chapter as him huh? ^^^
Guest: You're right Lol I've been reading Tokyo Ghoul as of late, so it makes sense that some darker aspects come up in my writing, but I don't want to scare you off. Also, I'm glad you can't say you hate it! I'll make sure to have you saying "I love it" by the end!
Guest (2): Thank you for worrying about my health, but I should be okay. You focus on loving the story, and I'll focus on not dying lol.
I love you all! Thank you for reviewing! It's the source of my dopamine for writing right now, so keep it coming!
